I'm generally a fan of costa coffee - the tiffin is usually great, the coffee is fine. However, on this occasion it just didn't work. Quite a limited choice of food on offer, and one of the least friendly customer teams I've come across. The toasted sandwich also tasted a bit stale frankly. There was also no decaf coffee on offer. The tiffin was lovely however. Not sure I'll visit this branch again soon - better off going to other places around the corner.

Before the 3rd national lockdown descended my twin brother Stephen and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and visit some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, while heading to The Lion Tavern Pub we dropped into this Costa Coffee and what a very pleasant start to our day out. This is a wonderful looking Costa Coffee outlet, the interior is modern, light and airy, the main room is dominated by a long glass fronted serving bar showcasing all that Costa Coffee offers, nice decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe ,cosy sums it up best . We were here on a Saturday morning, we gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system on our N.H.S covid app on our phones, we sanitised our hands, my brother ordered a coca cola while I went for a flat white coffee, coffee was served steaming hot, we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our drinks. My coffee was really good, I am a big fan of the coffee served in Costa Coffee, from the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and the staff in this outlet take pride in the coffee they serve, it was just so good being in such a lovely cafe enjoying a quality brew. We really enjoyed our drinks in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to this particular Costa Coffee we had a great time and with the governments great rollout of the vaccines and the magnificent efforts of the N.H.S in the administration of the jab with over 18 million people receiving their jabs this terrible pandemic is finally being tamed and normality will soon be back and when the final lockdown is lifted in April I look forward to visiting here again. This Costa Coffee is easy to locate on St Paul's Square. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, 6.30am till 5pm. Saturday, 8.30am till 4pm. Sunday, Closed. A wonderful Costa Coffee, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Costa Coffee on St Paul's Square is a great coffee-house that offers a superb range of coffee's and tea's and soft drink's and light snacks.Costa Coffee was first established in Dunstable in 1971 and this superb chain of coffee-houses are dotted throughout all of the UK and Europe/Asia/Africa and also the Middle East. This Costa Coffee on St Paul's Square has a typical Costa Coffee look and feel and is quite spacious with plenty of good seating options throughout the whole café interior and is the ideal coffee-house to try one of there excellent drink or snack options. We visited here after travelling from Kirkby on the Northern line and decided to have a few coffees and soft drink's.After we gave our track and trace details we took a table by the main entrance and ordered a couple of cups of flat white coffee's which where well served and priced and to finish a Coca Cola light each with ice which where again well served and priced. This is a superb Costa Coffee and one well worth visiting and is very easy to find from Moorfields train station use the Hall street exit and walk along Old Hall street and you turn left into St Paul's Square a five minute or so walk.(This is my first review of Costa Coffee St Paul's Square). It’s the closest costa to my work so I continue to return and give it a chance and it’s always a mistake. They can’t seem to keep staff longer than a week, which explains why none of them can seem to make coffee or not burn a toastie. Shame really, I’ve now swapped to the Starbucks round the corner.

They sell the usual Costa staples - toasties, cakes and some very good coffee. Staff are efficient and polite and the cafe is bright and clean with outside seating, when the weather permits.

The coffee was a standard bucket of joe, nothing special but very drinkable. The staff were cheerful and friendly. So, I tried, I really tried, but I just can't get over a sloppy egg muffin. It was truly vile and reminded me of why I avoid Costa.

We were heading to The Cross Keys Pub and as we were a little early for the pub we decided to drop into here for a quick coffee till the pub opened. A nice Costa Coffee with a light and airy interior with nice furnishings and great decor and spotlessly clean with plenty of seating options. My twin brother Stephen and I ordered a flat white coffee and these were served steaming hot and were really delicious. I know Costa Coffee are endemic throughout the UK and it's easy to dismiss the standard of their coffee but the coffee served here was delicious and beautifully presented, they most certainly have some decent barista's in here. We really enjoyed our coffee in this busy and popular café before we moved on to The Crossed Keys Pub across the square. Very easy to locate on St Paul's Square. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday,7am till 6pm. Saturday,8.30am till 5pm. Sunday,10am till 4pm. Well worth a visit.

Costa Coffee in the Royal Liverpool hospital is terrible. The cost of the drinks and food is scandalous. If you have tea it tastes like hot water, even if you leave the bag in for a good while! Slow service, poor attitude from the staff. They also put the chairs across to close off the areas about three hours before closing! After 5pm it's paper cups only, even though they don't close until 8pm! The waitress asked me if I wanted my receipt, I said I would like it as I would 'frame' it at home! I do not mind paying high prices for quality, but Costa misses the mark badly. Rip off!

I visited with my wife to get a sandwich for our lunch and decided to use the toilet, upon opening the door to the toilet I was greeted by excrement spread on the seat and basin and urine all over the floor. I reported this to the person who was on the floor and he stated that he knew the situation and would get to it when he was ready. Upon hearing this I went and told my wife and left , we could not eat there seeing this.

I'm a 21-year-old guy from Denmark who was visiting Liverpool solo on a day Everton played a Premier League away match, and wanted to watch the game among local Evertonians. Perhaps looking like an alien in my yellow Danish club's shirt, I cautiously entered The Brick and, after introducing myself, was immedeatly taken in by a few guys. For the majority of the afternoon we talked and talked, they bought me beer on their own initiative, and I had the most wonderful time in The Brick. Even though Everton lost the game, everyone I talked to was always friendly, including the owner of The Brick, and I always felt welcome despite not being an Everton fan; everyone was an exemplary representative of Everton F.C. All in all, I was left with what I felt like was an authentic cultural exchange and English match-day experience, and I'd highly recommend the pub to anyone in the area.
