Costa Coffe in Liverpool

Really dirty cafe with trays piled ceiling high on each table, hot coffees ok, avoid cold drinks at all costs rip off, manager is a beastly bully, staff ok. Some nice some not depends who you get

Reason for early delivery never received any food items. Just coffee. No note to tell me they would process refund nothing. Why was website not updated.

Why this branch don't do hot Milkshakes?

First and last time ordering from here! All the food I ordered was missing. Shocking service!

The positive reviews must be from regular users of hallucinogenic drugs. I've found this place intolerable and mediocre at the best of times.

Iam a costa customer but this store very bad at making the coffee and services is bad i cant even drink it

AMAZING, EFFICIENT SERVICE. I have a Costa 5 days a week from various locations (I drive for a living throughout the NW and N Wales), and I have never been to such a well organised Costa. I visited mid morning on Saturday and it was VERY busy, but the staff were friendly, efficient and really on top of their game - well done team. I will definitely go out of my way to visit again soon.

Don’t even arrive but said delivered on the just eat app after me waiting for over two hours to not arrive but act like it had terrible service

Large shop with a good number of seating arrangements. Friendly staff & easy parking. Overall a perfect spot for friendly meet-ups.

Have been here a few times. Service generally is very slow, tables are usually waiting to be cleaned. Food is expensive, some of it tasty, some not.

I felt petty for taking to reviewing the store online, but in honesty I feel things need to at least be brought up. Constantly blaming upper management for low standards in a branch eventually loses credibility. I have noticed a few times now that some customers bring in shopping trolleys laden with their weekly grocery shop into the store and park them in the seating area while they have their coffee. This is outrageous. The manager on duty - a blonde lady who is otherwise helpful and professional, doesn't seem to care about it. No intention of stopping it, she just lets it happen. So you're sat drinking coffee next to a Sainsbury's trolley brimming with shopping bags. I think this is dreadful.

Asking for vegan ham and cheese toastie (which I eat on a regular basis) and being sent non vegan ham and dairy cheese toastie is appallingly. A bite was taken out of it so for allergen sufferers this could potentially kill. This is being reported to environmental health and food standards. Disgraceful.

Always great service and food and drink excellent

Very disappointed as I sent my 84 year old mum a coffee and a muffin but the muffin was missing, she was really looking forward to it...

I love coming here - usually. I come here about twice a week for coffee and cake. It's very expensive but it's my little treat. I've worked hard for 51 years and I'm now retired - I don't drink or smoke - so I don't mind paying over the top for a little treat. They no longer bother putting any sort of pattern on top of the coffee but it's comfortable and pleasant otherwise. I came here earlier though - 40 minutes before closing. The young woman serving said I'd have to have a takeaway cup as they were closing soon. I said I didn't want to drink out of a paper cup, I'm not a teenager, I pay over the top for the little niceties. She was exceptionally moody and I told her. She said she was in work and I said that's (being hospitable) was part of the job. She was annoyed with me and left the other young woman to serve me and went out. I knew I wasn't responsible for her upset and found out that she was struggling outside of work and I honestly felt sorry for her. My latte was luke warm and I was too intimidated to mention it now as I felt like some sort of bullying ogre. The two staff were quite happy now, talking to another woman who announced that she was OK with paper cups and was happy to grovel around this moody young woman. If she's there next time, I won't order. So that's £7.75, twice a week, every week, potentially lost. I can only think that Costa's management is responsible for such unhappy staff, who then pass this unhappiness on to the customers.

I ordered 2 breakfast wraps and none of them have came

Incomplete order of average food.

I have waited for over a hour for my order. States it has been delivered. It has not. No phone number to contact either.

Disgusting I have and never will order a just eat delivery from costa again it was cold we got half a cup. I ordered 3 large coffees costing over 17 pound I want a refund

15 minute wait for two coffees as only one person can operate the machine.

Nice and cosy Costa café, staff are brilliant & very helpful to me, sat in a quiet corner and enjoyed my latte and toasted fruit bun, whilst writing this review.

Amy, the girl on the counter was beautiful, very polite and couldnt do enough for us, she is a credit to costa, the shop was very clean and the service was flowing along, didnt need to wait for ages to get our drinks, like you do in most costa's especially Trafford Centre.

Th driver went into town before coming to deliver at my address. Food was cold and my Eton mess blondie was missing

Ordered here on two separate occasions and both times they got got my order wrong giving me someone else’s items. Absolutely shocking how staff can’t even pay attention enough to read the orders. Paid for items i didn’t receive what a joke

Nice cafe for a snack and coffee. Coffee quality isn't great, just overpriced. Mcdonald's coffee is much better and cheaper.

I never seen dirtiest place. All tables full of cups plates and other stuff. One staff person behind the counter working the oft her member of staff running as a headless chicken having no clue what to do. We wanted to seat outside no chance as there is just all dirty cups piling up on the tables. My first and last time here.

Driver was rude and was at the wrong address then said I had put the wrong address which I hadn't and half my order was missing awful service

Driver went to wrong address an then blamed myself for putting in wrong address. He made it here in the end so must of had right address, he was very rude an took over 1 hr for a 6 minute journey needless to say the items were stone cold. I entered the postcode and used drop downbox to enter address.

Costa coffee - not much to say really. You know what your getting but this is run of the mill. I always find service tends to be slow here, there's not enough staff for how busy it is and the place has no atmosphere. Yes I know its a chain but for a relatively new premises it feels awkwardly laid out and dated.

The staff were lovely, the place was clean and there was lots of seating.

They never gave me what I ordered

I visited at 9.30am for a meeting with some work colleagues. As soon as I got through the door I was met with the queue - tailed back and slow moving. I was then faced with the much more difficult task of trying to find a clean table. Of the 25 or so tables in there, around 8 were occupied. The rest were stacked high with dirty trays and cups. An appalling and unhygienic mess.

Really enjoyed it, lovely lady called as 1 thing was out of stock to swap it for something else. Really friendly! Thank you

Visited Sunday morning. Lovely friendly female server on the til. Really helpful- nothing too much trouble. Breakfast bap - egg spinach mushroom - delicious.

The most lovely, helpful staff! Had just eaten in there and after I’d left had realised I’d lost my phone. It didn’t end up being there, but the staff were so helpful and went above and beyond to help out and be kind. Best service!

This place is very badly managed. I've turned up twice now and it's been closed during opening hours. It closes down on random days because apparently a member of staff is regularly absent for their shift. I told staff at another costa coffee branch and they were surprised to hear about it, saying that there is no excuse for a store to close down when staff do not show up. Is the area manager doing anything to solve the problem?

Is this a joke??? I get sent a coffee that has been fully spilled so then I make a second order as I would quite like a coffee and I order another sausage bap but then I don't get that delivered?! I have made two orders this morning, paid for the delivery and service charges which I will NOT get back. The is shocking service.

Food was really late , food is meant to be made when the driver is assigned but my toasty came and was ice cold so it was obviously made about an hour before when I first placed the order, it was literally freezing I’m not exaggerating don’t order from here until they get more drivers

We love Costa coffee . My only complaint is that a lot of the time when we have food the knives are not always the cleanest that they could be but we always enjoy the coffee.
