Monterey Jacks in East Lindsey

Second time coming here, constantly good service. Our server this time, Taylor, was very friendly and helpful. Food is great. It's the only food place still open at EK that's worth going to really.

Visit with kids who had a hot dog of kid's menu and a burger of adult menu they loved their food. My chicken nachos were cold when pointed this out remade them which also cold! Then offered & recommended a Cajun pizza this had cold chicken and raw onions on it- véry strange pizza. The staff said that was how it came. Was so hungry by this point eat 2 bits but not nice. All in great for my kids but horrible for me. They didn't charge for my meal but don't wish to go back

Amazing food great atmosphere the staff are so friendly and helpful. It being our first time in they gave us great recommendations. The honey buns burger was delicious will definitely be Back

Restaurant was empty, and food slow to arrive. When food arrived was tepid/cold. When waitress came to check with us, we had already eaten half the food, and advised her it had been served cold. Solution offerred was to cook fresh order. Given delay that had already happened, declined, paid full bill and left. Will not be back.

Went for lunch and drinks with family and the selection was really good! We had a mix of starters to share and had our own mains. Would definitely go back

Took my girlfriend out for drinks and food the drink were amazing and so was the food I had the “return of the mac@ and my girlfriend “the big chilli” both beef burger were amazing and the service matched we were served quickly and the server stood and had a nice chat and our plates were quickly cleared will definitely be back

Had an amazing experience from start to finish any time I have been to Monterey Jacks in East Kilbride. The staff are always amazing and really helpful, The food is always outstanding although they are usually busy you never wait long for the food to be served and its always high quality. The cocktails look, taste and have amazing names. I have been here about 8/9 times and I have to admit we have always had a great experience with staff, drinks, food and service never ever had a problem. I cant wait to do and get another fantastic meal.

from start to finish staff were fun and having a laugh with us, food came out quickly and nice and warm staff recommended the big jack burger and it did not disappoint will definitely be back

Our NEW Favorite Place In EK 😃 Been here many many times 🙂 we love it! we loved a few restaurants in The hub in EK but sadly they have all passed away but this was born and is now our new favorite 🙂 - we love how they do hot dogs !!! We LOVE Coming Here 😃 Staff are always amazing, friendly, kind and full of life! they actually seem to enjoy there job and like being there 🙂 which always gives off a nice positive lively vibe 😃 The Food is always amazing, so much to choose from, its always a real struggle for us on what to pick to eat. we love their chicken meals and their hot dogs, as many places don't do hot dogs, theirs are definitely awesome 😃 The Meals are always huge, we always struggle to finish our meals as there is so much 😛 hence why we always just get stick with mains! got a starter once was a big mistake lol! it was lovely but we struggled to finish my main course. the quality is fab and you also never wait too long for your meals or drinks either. I do love the decor and vibe of this place 😃 song choices depends on the listener can be a hit or miss 😛 🙂 i love their cocktails 😃 so much choice from and such brilliant names !! we always have a giggle at there choice of names 🙂 - I like there Bobby Dazzler 🙂 treated my self to one the other day 😃 their Jugs are a bit pricey side but there individual glasses are decent sizes and a decent price. I also like they regularly change up there menu. so you can try different things but most of the time our favorites are still usually there which is a bonus. NOTE - i am not A vegan/veggie but if you are they have such an amazing vegan/veggie menu at the back plenty to choose from 🙂 Only a few Negatives about the place - 1. There sauces and sides are a bit on the dear side 3. Jugs for cocktails are a bit on the dear side too. 3. We noticed on our last visit about a donation amount was automatically added to our bill that i never noticed until my partner paid, it was to cash for kids (i think) we do not mind giving a small donation to charities esp for animals or children but you need to let customers know about this. i know most people will be OK with it but some may not be and may not want to do that. also id want to make sure that this donation was actually going to the Charity as we always usually give a tip to the waiter/waitress anyway. PS - on here I have noticed many folk didn't like this place and have quite a few negative things to say but we have been here about 6/7 times and I have to admit we have always had a great experience with food, drinks, staff, service etc 😃 never ever had a problem. i do feel sometimes that not a lot of people give new places a chance esp in East Kilbride. we would come more here often if our wages were better 😃 as i said already we love it here 😃 and will be returning time and time again 😃 <3

Incredible visit from start to finish! The staff were great and so helpful, the food was tasty and prompt and the drinks were to die for! Kids loved it, we loved it.. the ONLY place worth visiting in the centre!

Unforgettable experience!! Staff were amazing and so attentive, nothing was too much. I had one of the burgers and the taste of it was so good! Will definitely be back asap!

First time in East Kilbride restaurant. Beautiful surroundings. Exceptional service from Sarah and Scott. A fabulous selection on the menu. Scott recommended the Texas Cheese Massacre burger and the Classis Nachos. Great choice. We will be back soon. I am an extremely fussy eater but Montereys was first class and sensibly priced.

Had a really great time here. Nice decor and the music is decent. Food is amazing and the cocktails are incredible, the menu has been updated a bit since the last time I visited but they still had my usual plus some new things to try. Great place for a date or to hang out for a while with friends. Always had great staff when I’ve been here. Edmund served us this time and was super helpful, took care of us and gave us some spot on recommendations. Michael behind the bar made us some fantastic cocktails. Will definitely be back.

Tuesday evening at 6.00 PM and the place was about quarter full and we were a family group of 8. We ordered drinks as a group of 4 or 5 came in and after about 10 minutes when they were getting their drinks and a staff member asked if what we would like I said drinks would be nice. The bar is backed up she said. So how come a group that came in later got served before we did? I had the Meat stuffer calzone and this is the first time I've ever eaten the full calzone and still felt hungry. Normally I have a doggie bag for next day's lunch. It wasn't that well stuffed either. My son had a hot dog and he said the actual sausage was nice and meaty but the rest of it was poor. My grandson had a pizza and it was undercooked. We ordered a couple of portions of atomic fries to share and the consensus was that they wished they hadn't bothered.

Ordered cheese burger, chicken burger and sweet potatoes fries. Chicken was burnt. Burger was small and not very good, and the fries, you could wring the grease out of them. They seem to care more about the box delivered in than the actual food

Went last night and can only say was shocking from start to finish. Ordered food and after an hr and noticing people who came in after us had been served asked what was happening to be told our order had been wiped off the system....

Visited this restaurant as the burgers looked great but what a let Down I had the Chicken Deluxe which was very tough Monteray Jack cheeses all melted by the Grill which you couldn't taste nothing special in my opinion my Wife had the Chicken Firestarter...
