Such a disappointment. Went for Sunday Lunch. The only good thing was the roast potatoes. Scrapes of meat left, turkey and gammon. Yorkshire puddings weren't cooked, pigs in blankets were burnt. Stuffing balls rock hard. Veg well. Can't describe it. Then I saw the guy bring out a joint of over cooked beef, turkey and pork. Won't ge going back.

We made an unplanned visit here for lunch after a long drive down from the Midlands. It was all a bit last minute, so it was picked purely on geography (and that they are dog friendly) and we had no idea what it would be like. What we found was a lovely and quirky place, completely not at all what we were expecting. They very happily accepted a party of nine, plus a dog, at short notice, although they were not busy at the time. It was no hassle at all for them to have the dog (although in this part of the country it seems this is the default position in a lot of places). The staff were very friendly, seemed genuinely interested in our journey and what we had planned, were more than happy to suggest places to visit, and the one issue we had with the food was rectified swiftly and without fuss. As mentioned, the food was delicious, and apart from the above mentioned issue, lunch went off without any hitches. The place is full of old and antique tableware and other items, which can lead to some interesting discussions. We ended up buying a couple of items (we were in no way pressured to do this). A lot of people seem to visit this place primarily to browse and buy rather than sit down and eat. Overall, a very pleasant stop on our journey, and would definitely recommend.

How we love, love, LOVE Miss Molly's! Three of us went there today for brunch. We were seated and served promptly. The service was friendly. Lovely coffee. The food was delicious. Hog's pudding on the full English - so scrummy! Great vegetarian breakfast. A reasonable choice of vegan food. My sister in law had garlic mushrooms on toast, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Not the cheapest but the food was top quality. Great selection of cakes but we were far too full to try any. That's for next time! The tea room is shabby chic and almost like you are visiting your gran's house. The rest of the building is full of second hand and vintage furniture. There are tables to dine at in two of these rooms as well, so you can eat whilst surrounded by lots of interesting furniture and curios. Walking around the rooms afterwards is like Aladdin's Cave or Alice's Wonderland. A maze of rooms full of wonder. Just brilliant. Thank you, Miss Molly's! Well done!

Our family have frequented Miss Molly’s for breakfasts and lunches for a few years. It is a wonderful and unusual place. The food is good honest home cooked and local. It’s friendly, homely and comfortable. However it’s not cheap if you are just having a tea or coffee and a piece of cake. My daughter and I paid £16.40 for two coffees and two brownies. I have to admit feeling surprised! No more tea or coffees but we will continue to go there for meals which are better value.

Have been here lots of time but sadly will be thinking twice before visiting this lovely tea rooms in an antiques centre. They have expanded the covers but not the staff, so on our last visit (whilst they were renovating another dining area and trying to deal with meals on wheels) we waited over an hour for three simple meals. Portions were less then normal and some of it was wrong but because the staff were rushed off their feet we made the best of it. After plans were cancelled twice for my husband's 80th Birthday and we couldn't celebrate with family or friends, we decided that a Takeaway would be a good idea.We thought of Miss Molly's, as we've eaten there several times and never been disappointed...my husband loves a good homemade roast dinner and we were thrilled to learn that they did roasts on Wednesday's and Sunday's for takeaway, very convenient for today, 6th January!! All the rest of the week you can order other things from their Menu, but Hooray, it solved it for his special meal!!We collected 2 scrumptious Roast Beef Dinners with separate gravy at 1pm as planned and enjoyed them immensely...they were superb as usual from Miss Molly's, so tasty, the beef was delicious...a magnificent plateful, much better than 'my' homemade, nothing to worry about, no 'slaving' over a hot stove!! A lovely special treat for both of us, we ate and enjoyed every bit of it and have ordered our Sunday lunch from Miss Molly's too...Thank You to Miss Molly's team for making the day special, when we'd had such disappointment due to the very tight restrictions...We recommend them highly!!

I spent a considerable amount on 2 cupboards and various nick nacks, curtains, clothing etc. and was treated to a piece of cheesecake and a cup of tea, free of charge. The Kitchen area seems well ventilated now. The food, is pretty good when the price you pay is taken into consideration. It isnt brilliant, but perfectly OK and the only way they could improve it would be to use more expensive ingredients. My partner brought me here for breakfast and a look around as I love vintage things. We spent a good half an hour browsing but I personally found the smell to be a little over powering. We enjoyed eggs on toast for breakfast next to the roaring log burner. Would return here again

Had a light lunch here, food basic but very good, Dogs are allowed in a Seperate dinning room, it's a little bit of an Aladins Cave, lots of little rooms full to the brim with Antiques and China,

We went here to look at furniture but, considering that this place is tucked away, and that it was a rainy day, the café was really busy, so people had obviously made a point of going there. We did buy a lovely dresser, also there were lots of people just looking around. The furniture is laid out well, grouped together in year/style, but gives you the idea of what it would look like in a room setting.

So ive been here a number of times, ive never had anything to eat or dink i usually go there to shop! Ive bought some wonderful items there from china sets to dining tables or coats! The last time we were there my partner was given a piece of this chocolate meringue cake thing which he said was the nest dessert he'd EVER HAD! (and believe me he's had a few!)

Rosemary and the gang are a lovely crew and look after all of their customers. It is an unusual setting with very little formality but the food it top notch and reasonably priced. Worth a visit any time.

A bit of a strange location sat amongst an antique shop. However, the selection of cakes was amazing. I had a chocolate cate and the portion was huge! All the cakes looked very good. We didn't have a meal but I looked at the menu and there was a reasonably good amount of choices, all soundes very good. I recommend if you like cake and antique shops. Certainly an experience!

We visited today and had the all day breakfast . We were told by the friendly helpful waitress that there might be a slight wait for food as they were busy . Our drinks ( pot of tea complete with tea cosy ) lovely China cup and saucer and a large frothy cappuccino, were brought very quickly . We were enjoying looking around at the fascinating displays of furniture and books etc around us and it seemed like only a few minutes before our meals were delivered . Super breakfast with quality ingredients beautifully cooked . Unfortunately we had no room to try the tempting homemade cakes so we shall have to return to sample them ! The building is large and rambling . Filled with an enormous eclectic collection of furniture , China , glass and other items for sale . All priced very reasonably . Definitely worth a visit . We shall certainly return

Visited in Early June. Some aspects are good - cakes, some of the meals, service and the coffee (better than well known high street outlets). I has some savoury pancakes, they appeared like they had been microwaved then possibly finished in the pan, as they were soggy and watery on the inside and had slight burnt spots on the outside, but the rest of the meal was excellent As the prices are low (sub £10 for most meals) my expectations were not high. My wife ,however, was very happy with her meal. As the photos indicate the eating area is packed fully of the second hand /antique furnishings for sale around the building, which you either find quaint or annoying. But what was off-putting was the thick smell of old frying oil / cooking which not only filled the eating area, but the whole building. It was not like a savoury cooking smell that tempts you in, but it the smell of burnt cooking oil. I wondered if they had working extraction fans in the Kitchen. If you do not mind the surroundings and the smell, then Miss Molly's delivers value for money most times. I still hope to return one day to see if things have improved.

Unfortunately after a fantastic first breakfast there the second and third visit were not as wonderful- microwaved sausages. It's a wonderful place and the food is generally really great so I've given 4 as I feel, maybe, I've been unlucky. Please, please try- it has been the best around. As a chef I wish I had their kitchen space! Will happily try one more time
