Mollie's Diner Bristol in South Gloucestershire

Nos encanta American Diners, pero como nuestro viaje de larga distancia está llegando a su fin e íbamos de compras decidimos visitar Mollies después de verlo en un artículo. El lugar es muy bueno y replica a los comensales modernos, habíamos reservado así que nuestra mesa estaba lista para nosotros. La cabina era amplia, cómoda y limpia. El camarero estaba bien, pero tenía una voz muy suave que en un ambiente ruidoso era un poco desafiante. Pedimos bebidas que llegaron bastante pronto, pero fueron entregadas por otra persona que no pudo confirmar que el café era como pedimos, un solo trago negro, resultó ser demasiado fuerte para mi esposa y se necesitaron dos solicitudes para obtener un poco de agua caliente para ello. Pedimos nuestras comidas principales, mi esposa no podía tener lo que quería, ya que nos dijeron que estaba pre-preparado y tenía mayonesa, no es alérgica a él, pero simplemente no le gusta, por lo que eligió los tiernos de pollo. Estos llegaron sin nada con ellos solo las licitaciones, que estaban bien pero muy claras. Me dijeron que mi elección de vientre de cerdo no estaba disponible, en realidad, un sábado a la hora del almuerzo? Así que pedí un hot dog de queso con papas fritas. Estaba bien, pero el plato estaba un poco desnudo, sólo una fina rebanada de pepinillo. Las otras dos comidas se veían bien y estaban como ordenadas, así que no hay quejas, aunque las hamburguesas son un poco pequeñas. Pedimos tres postres, un helado expreso, un gofre y un merengue de limón. El helado llegó sin el café Kailua (£ 3 ) que se había pedido y mi gofre llegó sin el jarabe de arce, tuvimos que llamar a alguien para que los trajera. En general estaba bien, pero le faltaba el estilo y la atención al detalle que hubiera esperado, no debería tener que seguir recordando al personal lo que ha pedido. Los precios son un poco altos.

Tuvimos dos desayunos completos en inglés. Todo era excelente; huevos paché cocinados maravillosamente, el café de la casa era bueno, amable y eficiente servicio y baños limpios y chispeantes. Realmente disfrutamos y recomendaría a cualquiera que quiera un buen brekkie.

Esta fue la segunda vez que hemos estado en Mollies Diner. Lo principal es el ambiente americano que es un punto de venta muy bueno. La comida es genial y realmente disfrutamos tanto del desayuno como del almuerzo. El servicio es tan bueno con tantos camareros y chefs trabajando duro y siempre disponible para pedir bebidas extra, etc. nos atendieron por 't' que hizo un gran trabajo. Sin duda volveremos pronto.

Visitamos el domingo pasado por la mañana para el desayuno, solo yo y mi hijo de seis años. A la entrada, no hay señal para solicitar que espere a sentarse. Después de un minuto o dos de espera, nos dirigimos a una mesa. Una camarera oficiosa vino entonces, nos avisó que estaban muy ocupados esa mañana y que no habíamos reservado, solo tendríamos media hora. El lugar estaba medio vacío, así que supongamos que la dotación de personal era un problema, pero ella no dio más detalles. A pesar de nuestro plazo de media hora, alguien pasó otros diez minutos para tomar nuestro pedido, después de que se lo pidiera, e incluso eso pareció un problema ya que la primera persona no estaba interesada. Nadie se molestó en ofrecernos un menú (pedí dos pilas de tortitas). El servicio estaba bien después de eso, hasta que queríamos irnos. Después de unos minutos sentado allí, llamé la atención de alguien, pero él decidió hablar con alguien que acababa de llegar en su lugar. La comida era agradable, la actitud del personal hacia nosotros era abismal. No estoy seguro de lo que hicimos mal. Por buena noticia, después de que nos dieran nuestro plazo de treinta minutos y mientras esperábamos a que nos atendieran, reservé nuestra mesa para las 9 am para que pudiéramos relajarnos. No tan ocupado entonces.

Reserva de última hora. Todo muy bien. Becky nuestra camarera era encantadora. No estoy seguro de por qué necesita un mínimo de 100 caracteres.

Went in for breakfast as my husband wouldn’t stop talking about having a ‘roadside American diner experience’ for his birthday, with refillable coffee specifically. Unfortunately, the over all vibe from the staff was very depressing, not even a single smile. When he asked for a refill on the coffee, the waitress told us she’ll be right back and then ignored us for the rest of our stay there, avoiding any eye with us. After about half an hour of trying to get some attention from any member of the staff we gave up and left. Never had a refill on the so called “refillable” coffee that we paid for. It’s a shame, because the food itself was lovely, but the whole experience was ruined by the staff who seemed like they’re all suffering from a group hangover - walking like zombies, avoiding any eye contact, constantly staring into the floor or the plates they were carrying and not engaging with the guests (or us at least) at all.

A warm welcome from staff. A happy relaxed atmosphere. We had a good choice of food, suitable for my allergy with an opportunity to adapt the menu. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Sam came to introduce himself and is enthusiastic and dedicated to making sure his customers receive a special experience. Thoroughly recommend this diner.

I visited this restaurant twice in a week, once for breakfast and once for dinner and it was shocking both times. The service lacks attention. Essentially a bunch of students employed who are more interested in standing around chatting to each other than they are focusing on the customers that was my experience at breakfast and three days later for dinner when I returned in another group. They are constantly out of items on the menu and they even had no lager or IPA at all. food is served different what is described on the menu and when you tell them they just shrug their shoulders. Food is overcooked and often arrives before your drinks which is just a basic staple of service. I would avoid at all costs.

Had the most delicious breakfast. Great atmosphere even though I'm not really a morning person, helped by Josie who was attentive and had a great vibe. Just what I needed to start my day. 5/5

We came here for breakfast. We were seated promptly and effectively. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The wait for our breakfast wasn’t long at all and was presented nicely. Food was nice and portion sizes were fair. Prices were reasonable but on the higher side. The atmosphere was calm and wasn’t too busy so everyone was spaced out nicely. I would recommend here for Breakfast and would come again.

I love the food so much! Made my Birthday so enjoyable! Definitely going to recommend it to friends and other people who ask me about dining places at Cribbs Causeway. It has such a pleasant enjoyable vibe. As a person with additional needs and who gets overwhelmed easily it was a place where I felt calm and content.

We didn’t stay at the hotel but dined there. Whilst we enjoyed the restaurant space and food initially looked good, it was off putting to see the kitchen staff on display (open plan), on their phones, in between preparing meals, this put us off our food from a hygiene perspective. We did complain and even sent an email after expressing concern, but no response received/not clear what action was taken. Disappointing this isn’t taken seriously! We won’t return for this reason!

Really disappointed expecting a quality diner experience. There were no milkshakes or floaters available on the menu. My second choice drink wasn’t available either. Our starter was cool and slow to arrive and spent 5 minutes on the pass. When our food did arrive it was ordinary at best and visit to the Golden Arches would have rendered a decent burger for the money. Service was slow and not what I’d expected first the money. Definitely not good value.

Visited for breakfast as we were staying in travel lodge next door, good service, very accommodating with my dietary requirements ( coeliac). I was given an ingredients chart to check what I could have, I was able to choose a breakfast selection with GF bread, which is rare to find so I was very pleased! Staff are very friendly and helpful, lovely diner.

The service was amazing, we went on Saturday 30th Dec at 6.45pm - the man who greeted us at the door was so smiley and welcoming, the food was delicious and served so quick. Also I did have a clumsy incident and spill my delicious milkshake like and idiot, I was so embarrassed as the glass also smashed but within not even 10 seconds of the spillage a lovely staff member came to the rescue and cleaned it up so fast , no1 even noticed it happened . I really appreciate it and as I felt sooo stupid she just said “ it’s not a problem we all do it “ which made me less embarrassed ( as I was on a date too). I hope the lady gets a praise or bonus as her service and work ethic was amazing. 10/10 experience drinks were tasty , food was great and the staff member are so lovely even though the que at the door was so long and they knew there were in for a busy night they all showed the best service I’ve ever had - well done to your team as they work so hard to make things run smoothly!!!! The atmosphere in Mollie’s is great and the staff friendly and attentive… which is part of why we go once a year for a Christmas Eve tradition, but unfortunately the food is usually fairly bland and options for vegetarians are mostly starters and fried. I am American which is why I’m drawn here as I like the vibe but am sadly usually disappointed by the flavour. And no fries or coleslaw included with the burgers is not usual for most places at that price. Also, by now a good vegetarian chick’n burger should be an option. Not too hard to do.

Motel is ok. Nice room, modern and clean. No kettle - but hot water taps in the corridor (out of order). EV charging not working. Staff worked hard to solve the problem and were very helpful. EV problems meant i arrived at the diner late. Told 20min wait, left 40mins later with no sign of a table. Service charge added to the cost of one beer even though it took an age to arrive. Breakast = cold eggs. Again poor. Overall Motel was ok. Diner dreadful. Overall disappointing.

Went for breakfast during a girls trip to Bristol, it's out the way of Cribbs but delicious and speedy service, every staff member encountered was friendly and a very reasonable price, will definitely be visiting again

Food not bad but overpriced and my Mollie’s Posh Draught Lager tasted like spider’s wee. Service good but 10% service charge added automatically is not acceptable. Won’t be visiting again.

It’s just ok. Over priced for what it is. The chips were hot but the burger was not as hot as it could have been. The staff weren’t as friendly as they could have been either. Would not go there again.

Very expensive, small portions and pretty tasteless. Place was almost empty on arrival, can see why… its not very good Burger was flavourless, Mac and cheese was tiny portion and chicken tenders were soggy All for the sum of £32!!
