Disappointing service with ok food. Perhaps if you focus more on the service the flaws in the food and drink would be less noticeable. Waiting 90 minutes for a main course is not acceptable. Consistently getting drinks incorrect and failing to recognise unhappy customers is not the way to repeat custom.

Another visit to M&C with great food & superb service from Sam & Junior. Excellent menu/sides & children’s menu. Would definitely recommend a visit!

I cannot recommend the team at Miller & Carter higher! They always make us feel welcome and the food and atmosphere it amazing. Such a great choice of menu and the effort the staff go to makes the experience all the better.

First time at miller & carter in cribbs and I have to say the food was delicious, from starter to main course it was extremely tasty. Our waitress was the friendliest lady I have ever met, I wish I had gotten her name. The only down side was that one of the male staff came around with a hoover while we were still eating our main course which was a bit annoying.

Great visit this evening food was excellent as normal I had the Ribeye steak and the wife had a sirloin both cooked to perfection our server Junior was excellent made sure we were looked after

We’ve really enjoyed coming here until the Past couple of times, it’s not very nice experience. When we receive our meal the steak was hot and all our sides were lukewarm, the onion loaf, chips and beef dripping sauce We thought we’ll give it one more try, The food was hot and lovely I then a long hair embedded in my pudding 🤮 not good!

It was so nice and Junior our waiter was kind and funny, he let me come up and ring the bell because I liked my steak so much. It was the best food I have ever had tasted. 10/10 Finn, age 8.

Absolutely delicious! Can’t fault a thing. We went there for my son’s birthday. All our meals were delicious. We had salted caramel profiteroles for dessert, so good. Thanks Miller & Carter!

First of all the food we had was well cooked, decent size portions, and our waitress was lovely. Being lunchtime we decided to have the fixed price 2 courses for £16.50 The waitress immediatley advised us that the rump steak on this menu wasnt available as the delivery was still being made outside, disappointing for a steak house but she did say the more expensive steak was available. Two of us ordered mains with a desert and one went for a starter and mains no desert. For £16.50 i really have no complaints, food arrived in good time, well presented and again got to mention our waitress who was very friendly. We paid the bill and left happy. It was only when we got home we noticed that we had been charged £19.50 for the three course option but only for one of us. You could say £3 isnt exactly a problem, and it isnt, but if im going to be charged it i would have liked to have had a starter too. We will return, will just check the bill before paying, especially if more of us in the evening abd a bigger order!

Great meal all round, one of a party felt that the meals could have been hotter, but I get it's difficult to maintain temperature when your doing so many covers. Calamari was a great choice for a starter, good amount which is sometimes lacking at other establishments. Followed up with the 20oz T bone which cooked perfectly and served with a good quantity of chips - although the onion cake was considerably smaller than previous visit here and other M&B's. All in all, a good visit and our server was very attentive.

Helpful staff good knowledge of Steaks helped to make our choices had my steak rare and was amazing definitely going back a little expensive but when the food is good happy to pay

We’ve been here a fair few times and it’s brilliant every time. We had a lovely waitress (Simona) who served us the time before also. She was really attentive, funny and made our meal even more special. The food was amazing, both 8oz rumps cooked perfectly.

Could not fault a single person in this establishment. From the moment I walked in the manager was very accommodating, asking to take the flowers I brought for my mother to the table. (I didn’t catch his name) Michelle was fantastic, completely flawless service. Her discretion for my “non-alcoholic” rosé couldn't be faulted. ;) This is a midway point between myself and my parents, 100% return, I cannot thank you all enough. Mitchel, all of our steaks were cooked beautifully, Thankyou. And to the manager, I’m sorry for stealing your lighter. I’ll return it on my next visit. Until next time you wonderful people.

Just popped in here as I am in the area for a training course. Absolutely spot on steak cooked by Ethan, and service from Junior was absolutely spot on, very energetic guy and I wish I saw more guys like that in restaurants. Overall highly recommend this place for a great meal!

They served a rump and tried to act like it was a sirloin when steak is my thing. I know what is what.. the waitress got persnickety after being asked. Even though before she looked at my order on the tablet, she said "wasn't it a rump" after LOOKING directly at my plate!! she unnecessarily called the manager over who would OBVIOUSLY side with her waitress ... Not impressed ..the chunky chips also tasted like they were reheated in the microwave..bad experience,won't be returning. More professionalism would have been appreciated. I left the food .. Glorified pub grub..

Four of us went this evening and were very disappointed. Without going into massive detail the attitude of certain members of staff was very questionable. When you start bringing up ‘terms and conditions’ as an argument against the customer, all you do is make a situation worse. This is probably the worst customer experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I don’t think you will be seeing us again.

Had the most incredible dining experience tonight. The food, as always was delicious with the steak cooked to perfection. Food and service was fairly good but it was just missing that special touch. The Calamari starter was cooked perfectly. We shared the butchers board, but we thought that the Rib-eye was over medium rare and the Rump was over medium. We had peppercorn sauce and beef dripping sauce, they were both delicious. The filled bone marrow was the star of the dish. And the chips and the greens were nice enough. The tomato in balsamic was raw and looked unappetising. Espresso martini was weak and not filled to the top. And also our water glasses were heavily stained from the dishwasher. Our Waitress was pleasant and professional Overall it's mixed review, we're not sure if we would come again.
