Had a great experience, and Alison was a fab server - friendly, attentive and superb service! Steaks (cooked by Bevan) were perfect and utterly delicious. Would highly reccomend :)

Great friendly staff but quite slow service. Very cosy atmosphere, overpriced food but decent for Valentine’s Day offers. Steak was tasty with great sides but nothing special.

We had great service from Barbara, who was excellent, especially as we had autistic children with us. The steaks were also well cooked by Gary, and my dietary requirements for gluten-free food were catered for. A thoroughly enjoyable meal.

We enjoyed our visit to Millers the food was nice and well presented, the menu has changed recently which is a shame I am now limited to one item to choose from. Have to say the staff are great especially Junior he is very attentive and such great energy the kid deserves a pay rise.

We came for the new Sunday sharing roast after seeing it on instagram. It was delicious cooked to perfection by Michael. The waiter/server looked after us so well, very fast service and so friendly. Recommend!

If you could select zero stars that would be what this was. Service was awful, took ages to get drinks, food orders came out wrong, burnt and cold. Had to send multiple things back, and they still didn’t come out correctly or warm.

Fabulous tasty food plenty of it we had the Sunday roast share platter delicious ! We asked for extra gravy no issues only thing which would of made it excellent would be proper roasties they had new potatoes in skin which not as nice as proper roasties but that’s personal choice Barbara was really lovely nothing too much trouble very friendly and smiley so helpful Could have done with some background music just for a different ambience

Visted today and all food was lovely , we were served by Barbara who was very attentive and gave us service with a smile! Even gave us a birthday message with our dessert which was a nice touch. 5 stars for Barbara!

Alison moved heaven and earth for our meals to make this meal as accomodating as possible. Always asking how we were getting on and if there was anything she could do. Amazing work

On Thursday we visited this restaurant. We ordered steak with the set menu sides. One quarter lettuce arrived consisting of 4 leaves that had been fluffed up to make it look like a full bowl.on complaining this was replaced. The meal arrived but everything was barely warm (the sauce even had a skin on and the butter did not melt on the steak) so we asked for them to be returned and waited for a hot meal. The plates were returned and everting had obviously been microwaved, including the steak. I cut into my steak again and instead of being medium well it was rare to medium. I asked for the steak to be cooked some more. This time it came back without the lettuce which had been on my plate. It seemed like it had been microwaved again or why would the salad be removed. I had to ask again for another salad. By the time we both got our meals we really didn’t want them. It was a really bad experience to have at a restaurant Whois supposed to be excellent at steaks. For almost £90 it was a joke.

Last minute decision to stop at Millar Carter Cribbs causeway Bristol for lunch, I booked online asking for a table at the car park end of the restaurant, when we arrived there were no tables available in the requested area but they managed to place one there for us, our server was Barbara who was very friendly, happy and attentive, Jack was our grill chef, the food was excellent, steaks cooked to our liking, we were disappointed the Apple crumble is no longer available on the menu, but the profiterole’s were delicious😎 Thank you for an enjoyable lunch.

Always used to enjoy miller and carter but over the last couple of years the prices have really gone up and the quality of the food is rapidly decreasing. I used to love the buttermilk chicken experience which was about £18 and you got sweetcorn puree, onion loaf, potato and gravy with it, the replacement is now £21 and is literally just chicken and chips with some chorizo and broccoli. Certainly not an experience anymore. Burgers are now the equivalent of what you’ll get in the harvester. This particular M&C is looking a bit tired, flaking paint outside and the men’s toilet in dire need of a refit, the toilet seats are gross and there’s holes all around the hand dryers where they’ve been replaced but the walls haven’t been painted. Staff were good as always at least

Always enjoy dining here; and on this occasion, Barbara was spot on with attending to our table (with Wife). 100% spot on! Food was fab too, so kudos to Chef Jack as well. Thank you!

Incredible experience! Barbara was very hospitable, friendly and welcoming. As soon as our drinks were finished, she was quick to ask if we wanted more drinks, able to offer advice re the food and cleared our plates promptly after we’d finished eating. A great experience!

First Sunday lunch here on our way home from a lovely weekend away. Was severed very warmly and very funny and welcoming waiter junior and sole who cooked our food and have to say this was amazing. Will definitely be back.
