Mokitchen in Milton Keynes

I ordered special fried rice, noodles, beef stew, chicken, and spare ribs, but everything was spongy, tasteless, and stale—basically horrible. Definitely not going back.

Fantastic food and service and are always happy to see you, after moving to Brooklands we thought we’d give it a go thinking it probably wouldn’t stand up to our high stands oh how we were wrong, Mo kitchen is now our new Chinese take away which thankfully is only a stones throw from home instead of the other side of Milton Keynes.

The service is great and from the time you order by phone you can get your food in 20 mins to collect. The food is great and always fresh and tasty. The only problem is that we as vegetarians find that their vegetarian options are often basic and limited. So you are restricted to Mixed vegetables in a sauce (231-232), either sweet & sour or black bean. Tofu is also only served in Oyster sauce or black bean sauce. (Items 240/241). I find this lack of inspiration and creativity sad. How about Orange sauce? Like you do your duck (Item 224)? Do you serve your Vegetarian duck with Pineapple? I would love to try some!

Had a takeaway and must say this is the best Chinese takeaway I have used everything was very tasty good portions and nice and hot we have been using since they opened and still remains the best will be using again I would recommend phone ordering as gets very busy and it’s cash only but there is a cash point nearby

Good range of starters and mains all cooked whilst you watch (providing you want to stand at the counter wand watch that is). Average wait time varies between 15mins to longest 30-40minutes as very popular since opening. Take cash as credit and debit cards are not accepted.

The pork, duck and chicken dishes we had were succulent and had lots of meat, not loads of water/ sauce. Good quality and fair price. Best Chinese I’ve had in years. Will bring my husband!

MoKitchen has really raised the bar for Chinese takeaway! We order from here at least once a month, and are never disappointed. I’m vegetarian and have so much choice on the menu. My favourites are the mixed veg chow mein and the vegetable pancake rolls! My other half loves the set meal for one, it’s really good value. The food is always really quick and can collect quickly.

This place is great, the food is so tasty and doeant at all taste greasy like alot of chinese places do. The shop itself is very clean and you can see the chefs making the food. I live the other side of milton keynes but this place is well worth the drive.

Finally a local chinese - always tasty food and not greasy. Ribs are fantastic as well as the mixed starter. Just wish they would deliver.

We visited this fairly new Chinese take away last weekend after a concert at the stables - Thos was our first visit and found the food served piping hot in good time.
