Takeaway was quick and speedy no problem with us walking in and wsiting while they cooked it fresh for us. Would recommend

Brilliant restaurant with brilliant staff. They were all lovely, hardworking and the food was great! I would also like to say thanks to Shadab as his service was excellent. Can’t wait to visit again and I really do recommend. Prices are great for the as well.

I visited here with my 3 friends. One of my friends was served a large leg of chicken that was raw. When we pointed it out to the waiter he initially tried to tell us that it wasn’t raw and that we were wrong, however the Chef confirmed that it was indeed raw. A new meal was prepared for my friend but in the end we could not enjoy the food and were still charged for the initial raw dish with only a free naan as compensation. All of us have since suffered from food poising after eating here, so we will not be returning.

Ordered for for delivery which I was expecting it to be a long wait but arrived 40 mins after estimated time after phone call to chase it up. ALL food was cold, tasteless, ordered pilau rice and received greasy fried rice, Nan breads burnt and tough, keema nan had very little meat in it, both curries had no flavour whatsoever, the chicken in the masala was tough and dry ! Happy New Year to the bin who received a £40.00 takeaway!

Visited here with my daughter Friday evening. We usually use Crown of India. However, I thought we'd give here a go. Nice friendly lads serving and decor was ok. Menu was not the usual you would expect from a curry house as there was not much on there, for example, no onion bhaji or samosas, etc. We did ask if they did them, which they did (get them on the menu). We ordered a chicken tikka balti, however we had some bland chicken in a tomato sauce with lots of garlic and coriander. Like I said, friendly staff but would not visit again.

Was visiting family in the area and chose this from the reviews and location. We was not disappointed owner was very accommodating and helpful and all his staff we engaged with were great fun and made the evening very enjoyable indeed. On top of this the food was on point and all the party enjoyed the choices they made. Overall a fabulous night and reasonably priced as well . When back in the are again Will definitely pay Mojo’s another visit.. 👏👏👏

We arrived at Mojo's restaurant just after 11 pm on Saturday 7th October after a really good night around the town. On our arrival we asked it they were still open and still serving food. They said yes, greeted us with open arms and sat us down and at first came across as extremely friendly. However, at around 12 midnight the vacuum cleaners came out and we were approached by a member of staff who very rudely asked us to hurry up and leave as they wanted to close. I ignored his first request as I thought he was joking around but a few minutes later he returned to our table clapping his hands loudly and demanding that we left. I pulled him to one side to have a polite word about his attitude and I explained to him that he shouldn't have allowed us to enter if we only had 30 minutes to eat our meal. Another member of staff, who I assumed at the time was the manger, then approached and explained that they were closing. When I asked him why we had been allowed to enter just before closing time, he was unable to give me an answer. I got nowhere trying to reason with them so I just paid the full price for our meals and we were forced to leave with no apology and no explanation. The only good thing I have to say is that the food was delicious but we would have enjoyed it more if we had been allowed to finish. We ended up leaving half of our meals on the table along with our drinks. Not happy at all with the poor attitude of the staff. We will not be returning and I will be just as quick to tell everybody about our bad experience at Mojo's as they were throwing us out. VERY POOR.

Pre booked family meal to celebrate a birthday. Had to wait upon arrival as no tables available, we were then taken to our table and pretty much forgotten about. Tried to order steak, was told they had ran out, so asked for boneless chicken. Also ran out of lamb for the mixed meat dishes and when my meal arrived it was chicken on the bone. Waited 1.5 hours for starters and had to ask repeatedly for drinks. Staff stated “we are busy, you will have to wait”. Dampened the atmosphere of a family meal out.

My first visit to Mojo’s and it was really good the service was amazing, the waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. The food was absolutely fabulous, I have been eating Indian food since I was 3 years old, I’ve spent time in India and the food In Mojo’s was as good as any I have had in64 years.

Food was good but experience was awful. Nearly an hour and a half wait for food. Very little apology. Ended up challenging full price, only because the table next to us got free drinks as an apology and no such offer for us. Guy wasn't interested and just walked away. Lost a loyal customer and spoilt our wedding anniversary meal

Just popped in on the off chance this evening, and we were very glad we did. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was excellent, (And we had 3 courses.) We will be back with friends. Soon.

We pre-booked a table of 14 for 29 December following a recommendation. There was no-one at front of house just three lads who seemed more interested in having a laugh and looking at their phones. We ordered and following a complaint about time over two hours later we got our awful food. The naan breads were flat breads with bland filling, evidenced by the fact everyone left them, the chicken tikka sizzler had four pieces of chicken squares and was bland and tasteless as was their not very special “speciality sauce”. The curry’s were just hot, no spice flavour combinations just chilli, again evidenced by the fact everyone left a huge amount. For some reason half way through our meal they decided on a freezing night to prop the front door open, which when asked they did close but it should have never have been opened. The waiting staff were totally inadequate and uninterested in the customer experience and only seemed to want to stand in a huddle and play with their phones. Never again.

Having spoken to the restaurant and then booked a meal on xmas day 2022, I was shocked when my family and friends turned up to find the restaurant closed. No phone call or mail to tell me why. The family were all very upset and having been in to see them a few days later they could see my booking and told me that they had decided not to open but someone forgot to call me. I was then promised the owner would call me back and never bothered.

We booked online, very easy on the restaurants web page, promptly receiving a confirmation email. The restaurant was immaculately clean on arrival and inspired confidence straight away. The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our delicious meal very much. I will be coming back for more. Many thanks.

We stopped in Stone in the way up to Manchester and found this lovely restaurant on TripAdvisor. The staff we very friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious and with some unusual dishes. Would highly recommend the Handi Lazees. Highly recommended

Visited here for the first time with friends we hadn’t seen in a while - we had a lot of catching up to do and so took a long time to order, the staff we very patient with us and we didn’t feel rushed at all. On a first visit to a new curry house I always order the same chicken saag - it’s my benchmark. The waiter offered advice to our friends on what to order and none of us were disappointed. Great food. The staff were super friendly and attentive. I would definitely visit again. Everything felt very COVID secure too. Only gripe I have is the faulty bulb on the front, I live locally and I think it’s been flashing for at least 12 months :-)

Just had a takeaway, quoted 1 hour for delivery, which was fine and expected. The food turned up 30 mins early, cold and fairly disgusting. Won’t be ordering again.

Ordered a takeaway meal tonight 26th November 2020 . Food was delivered at the exact time stated . When we checked the order the rice was missing but after a phone call it was delivered shortly after . Starters were nice and tasty but cold . I have to say that the chicken tikka masala balti was tasteless and needed some spices etc to make it even taste like a curry . It was not that bad to not return to the restaurant but have had a lot better from here before .

We were recommended to Mojo's by friends, and despite a less than satisfactory visit some years ago, decided to give them another try. First we ordered a take away which proved to be really good so we booked to eat in and were very glad we did. The restaurant itself is very well presented, modern and scrupulously clean. All the furnishings are of a high standard which gives a good first impression. The staff are friendly and efficient and are at pains to make your experience as good as possible. But the food is divine!! We are fans of Indian food generally and go out of our way to experience good Indian food. Here the use of spices is exceptional - you can taste the subtlety of the spices which transform a good dish into a great one. I had a Kashmiri Biryani which was unlike anything I had eaten in any other Indian restaurant with a wonderful mixture of flavours. My wife opted for a fish curry which was equally exceptional. The chef is a very talented individual and clearly is passionate about his creations. The interesting thing is that the menu is quite limited in comparison with most Indian Restaurants which probably leaves the Chef scope to be creative. Even the wine selections proved well above standard Indian Restaurant fare. This is our new all time favourite Indian restaurant and it is on our doorstep (which will prove important in these Covid times).

Eight of us dined here last night (Saturday 29th August ) .service was extremely quick .we had popadoms to start with chutney tray but unfortunately they had no mango chutney which I find unusual for a Indian restaurant to run out . Naan breads are amazing and main courses were tasty .

Very nice surroundings, great service and excellent food. The sizzler platter was really tasty and enough for the two of us to share. Will be back next time we are in Stone.

Our first visit there and it won't be our last. Food was flavoured rather than just have loads of spice thrown at it and I was impressed by the friendly wait staff.

Our first night out in Stone with the new Coronavirus safety restrictions and, after being made to feel unwelcome when booking at another local Indian restaurant, we ended up at Mojo’s - and what a good idea it was!Lovely welcome from all the staff, all COVID advice adhered to, and the food was beautiful - what more can you ask? It’s so important to support local businesses at the moment, and we will be back.

We usually enjoy a night out on Fridays but just as we were planning this Boris Johnson announced that restaurants were to close! We found a leaflet for Mojos and ordered a take away. What a lovely alternative this was. The service was excellent both on the phone and the delivery driver and the food was absolutley delicious. I had a chicken karahi and my husband had a madras and both were fantastic quality. With treats being in short supply at the moment this lovely food and great service really cheered us up. Try it yourself!

We don't live in Stone but went out last Saturday (29/2) for a few drinks around town. Hadn't got a booking but went on the off chance to the restaurant around 8.30 and it was packed out on both floors. Staff kindly said a table would be available for the two of us in around 45 mins. So we went for another drink (as you do.. lol), then returned.I had the Lamb Handi Lazeez and my partner had Lamb Jaipuri, both with lemon rice, and I have to say the flavour of both dishes was excellent. The staff worked tirelessly all evening and I thought the atmosphere was great and the restaurant clean and very modern looking. I will definitely return to Mojos and I rate the food in this restaurant as good as 'Naz' in Leek and that's a great benchmark. Been here a number of times to meet up with old work colleagues, nice food but nothing special, service good, surroundings are a bit too bright and modern for me. Prices OK, good place to visit but would not go there for a special evening or with my wife and friends.

Me and my family decided to eat out on Christmas Day, and Mojo’s was our first choice. I knew that their vegan menu was great so didn’t hesitate in booking and paying the £10 deposit each (Adults £34.95 Children £17.50). When we arrived at our 2.30 slot, we were greeted with welcome drinks and mince pies. The kids ate the mince pies! After being shown to our table, we had poppodoms/chutney etc. Followed by canapés and a starter. When I booked I had stated that there would be two vegans, a little initial miscommunication was soon rectified and our vegan dishes were made specially to order. The five course Christmas Banquet was a set menu with lots of choice including vegetarian dishes. When it came to dessert we were totally stuffed, and with no vegan dessert on offer we suggested some strawberries. The staff brought us some strawberries and pineapple, and tbf it was quite refreshing having this after our mammoth Christmas lunch. My family had a great day, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure that we were happy with our food and had a great Christmas Day. Would happily recommend for an alternative Christmas Day! We’ll be back

This is the second time we have been to Mojo's and the second time we have had rubbish service. The food is thrown on the table, they reach over the dishes and keep forgetting the drinks we ordered. This was a mid-week meal so I dread to think what it's like when they are busy.

A group of us wanted a curry in Stone. Looked on here and saw the reviews and walked over. We hadn’t booked but they found us a table and the lads that work in there are a credit to the business. Very friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble.

It is often tricky finding places to eat with difficult dietary requirements. Mojo’s is now going to be my place to go. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. There is a wide choice on the menu, something I’m not used to. The great bonus was that the food was delicious. Will definitely return.

Visited on a Monday evening so it was pretty quiet, however the meal was very good and the service predictably good. Their special rice was well worth having and the nans are great.

Went on the of chance for dinner into Stone. We had been before to Mojos, but this time we were both really impressed . Good service, friendly. Food was tasty and nicely presented . Beer was good . Good value. Nice touch with the jelly beans at the end of your meal .

Wonderful food. We visited on a Thursday so some people had the Thali menu which is like a tapas. I had the lamb Jaipur and it was absolutely gorgeous!

We visit Mojo’s regularly as our boys love it. Consistently friendly staff and the menu is great. Try the fish curry- I highly recommend it.

Visited here twice now and both times have left us unimpressed. The food lacks real taste and quality although the Naan breads are huge to share! The starters were bland again not much taste at all. Overall this is a very disappointing restaurant that we won’t be visiting again sorry.....

If your curry tastes generally run only to a chicken madras with a couple of chapatis, this place may not be for you. Traditional curry meets nouvelle cuisine, east meets west and great flavour combinations.

Been to Mojos twice recently. Food very good (though nan hanging from the rack was a tad dry), with really friendly, very attentive staff, so overall a really good place to visit.

We came to Mojo's especially because it has a vegan menu which lists vegan naan bread on it. Before ordering I checked with the waiter that they did have vegan naan and was assured they did. We even discussed what size it would be, and he said it was a bit smaller than the ordinary naans.

Arrived with friends asked to take a seat till they sorted our table. All staff polite and friendly. The food was very tasty and hot naan breads were a decent size. Can't wait to go back.

Visited for my daughters birthday on Thursday 21st March and the service was very good , food was delicious and great value for money . Highly recommend mojos .

I booked a table for 22/3 for 1 person . The restaurant looked very clean , good table set up . Foooood superb. To start I had , seek kebab follow chicken Tikka Saagwalla with extra spice , very delicious and I forgot I had Buttered Garlic Nan and Pilau rice , next time I pass the Pilau rice as when my garlic nan arrived see picture was Giant.

I haven’t been to Mojo’s for years, so this would be my first visit since becoming vegan. Having looked at the recent reviews I wasn’t too sure, what to expect. I hadn’t seen the vegan menu online initially so when I rang to check that they could cater for me. I checked the menu and booked without hesitation. The staff were polite and friendly, the vegan menu was brought straight over to me. We ordered drinks, average prices for dining out I’d say. The menus seemed to have lots of choice, pleased to report that the vegan menu had a massive 8 appetisers and 6 mains; I opted for the poppadoms and chutneys to start and then the Aloo Gobi Handi served with pilau and roti (£12.90). The roti even came hanging on a stand. Would definitely recommend, and visit again!

We live in Stone and were originally quite impressed on our first visit to the restaurant. Since then, it has gone drastically downhill. The wait for food is always about an hour, Just not good, you almost want to leave when waiting! Recently, we have ordered in twice to home. The service on the phone is also never good - they take down the wrong order often.

Worst service probably ever experienced, get orders wrong all the time, takes absolutely ages for food to arrive at table and even worse on delivery. They aren’t bothered either and lie when you ask (after an already long wait) how much longer it will be. Just really rubbish. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I recently ordered from here for delivery and due to a glitch in the system was charged £50 for delivery for a 10 minute journey. I still as yet have not received a refund despite repeated phone calls and emails and had the phone put down on me on at least 2 occasions when trying to resolve the matter. To add insult to injury not only was I overcharged but the food took 2 hours to arrive and when it arrived the wrong food was delivered. To say the service was diabolical is an understatement. I absolutely will not be going back to this restaurant.

Ordered at 6.50pm, it is now 9.10pm and we still have no food. Were told 35 minutes ago it was on its way, and after ringing again now we have been told the same. Asked to speak to a manager, heard the girl being rude on the phone about me and then they hung up. Appaling customer service. Delivery man was petrified when we refused to pay that it would come out of his wages so we reluctantly gave him a tenner. Absolutely do not recommend delivery at all.

I visit about 3-4 times a year as I work nearby. I have to say the food is always delicious but the service is often slow.

This was the first time visiting Mojo’s even though we don’t live far away...

I have been a fan of this place for years and would often go for a meal at least every month. The most recent time I was there with a few friends and ordered the same meal as I normally would, within minutes I had found a piece of hard plastic around 1cm big from my curry in the mouthful I just had, the plastic had clearly snapped off some sort of container/bowl and had sharp edges which would very easily do harm if swallowed which was a very possible outcome if not noticed. We let the staff know about this who seemed baffled by the fact it was in there and were asking several questions rather than being apologetic and even insinuated that I had put it in there myself. They said they would 'investigate' where it came from and disgustingly never returned to our table once throughout the rest of the night to discuss the matter. We finished up the meals since I don't usually let this type of stuff inconvenience me and prefer not to cause any bother and proceeded to the desk to pay for the meal. The staff member we dealt with did not bring up the plastic piece in the meal and didn't offer any form of apology whatsoever. We had to bring the subject to their attention again for it to be dealt with, the balti that it was found in was then removed from the bill.

I didn't and still dont get why this its called Mojo's but let's put that aside fro a moment. Mojo's is great food and friendly staff - thoroughly recommend it!

Love the food . But I don’t recommend ordering a delivery. Nearly 2 hours and still waiting. A very disappointed family and friends all hungry. Please don’t offer this service if you can’t deliver. Totally unacceptable

Called in for a takeaway tonight - gorgeous! So tasty. I never have bread in an Indian but the Keema cheese naan is to die for! Mmmmmm
