Nice enough, fun atmosphere with music and people, food is nice enough, tables and chairs can be quite grubby sometimes and the place does not feel the highest of quality and waiting times for food are notoriously unreliable, can be quite long. But it's good enough for the purpose and if you want a drink it's nice enough.

Has blood orange thatchers, that's enough for me! Vegan/veggie and gluten free food options as well.

Burger was alright. Fries were banging. A bit expensive for uni students though.

If I could rate 0 I would. It’s one thing to waste money on food that you never get, especially as a student. But it’s another thing to be gaslighted by a supervisor saying you left the table to the point where you have a panic attack. Heaven forbid a member of staff delivered to the wrong table. I won’t come here again after the treatment I received. No one should be driven to the point where it takes them half an hour to calm down from crying, hyperventilating and shaking. I hope someone learns how to treat a customer as an actual human being

Awful. Waited 50 mins for food, after asking twice and being told twice it will be ‘10 more minutes’ we asked for our money back. There were only three tables with food orders and we ordered loaded fries - so not complicated!

The events and prices are great, but you can never shake off the fact that (most of) the staff make no effort to hide that they hate the job and want to take it out on you, a lot of the time if you ask a genuine question or try to make chat they'll treat you as if they hate you. I'm honestly not convinced the staff don't just hate every customer because they really do act that way. It's a huge shame tbh.

Wheel chair access, can be long wait tome dependent on time of day. Great events including Quiz and karaoke.

Nice student bar at Reading University Students Union which i have been in many times over the years for different events. At the moment due to covid etc it has a big area out the back where there are loads of wooden pub benches on the meadows for students to sit on, along with a stage and a dj booth. It is normally quite cheap and has normal rustic food. In term time the atmosphere here is buzzing depending on the night you go - saturdays are when they open up the whole of the students union and have a big club night...

One of the student favourites on campus. Well priced drinks on tap and pitchers of cocktails available for those out to drink a bit more. Themed nights such as quiz and karaoke on Thursdays and free pool tables on Mondays. Wednesday and Saturday it is within the union for uni students and probably the best bar to get a chance of decent service!

Super chill vibes with a good amount of comfortable seating and pool tables. Quiz nights and karaoke every thursday, with cash prizes is a good way to get people in for a social drink - and off the back of that, super cheap drinks! 2.80 for a pint 👌 will deffo be doing more of those quiz nights

It started out a lovely summer’s day. How better to celebrate the handing in of a dissertation than a nice cold libation at the bar of Mojo’s, an establishment I usually turn my nose up at. Beyond the many nights spent at a Union, little time has been spent in this bar, but we were forced there by a brigade of friends that were keen to soak up some spring sunshine. I arrived in a buoyant mood, keen to begin the session and spend many a money behind the bar On arrival we were greeted by less than enthusiastic set of bar staff, more concerned on their recent exploits at Park Bar (your own staff don’t even want to drink in Mojo’s) After moving past this, we were then quizzed with what to drink. This decision was made easier by the lack of drinks available. Two ciders to choose from. Brilliant. Good job I don’t like cider I thought, so moved through the lagers. What a shoddy selection. Carlsberg? Carlsberg??? I swiftly looked past this to find only handful of drinks. After settling on a Guinness, I was then forced to watch one of your members of staff uncapable to pour said drink correctly. Not wanting to be rude, I overlooked this error and settled down, looking forward to being cheered up by some food. As the members of staff were bringing out the burgers, I was in an optimistic frame of mind. However, this quickly changed when my food arrived. After deciding I was not that hungry, I settled on a side of garlic bread. The garlic bread can only be described as a length of cardboard dusted with garlic substitute, which did not taste of garlic. After deciding to pass on my meal, I then started stealing my companion’s food to satisfy my needs. This turned out to be a mistake. The nachos were abysmal. I wish I could be more positive, but they really did not warrant my money. I was expecting to be transported to the gentle, rolling hills of North Mexico where the dish originates from, but the soggy chips with one small dip, and a slice of cheese deposited on the top was more akin to the food found in a dodgy kebab shop in a back alley of Hull. Overall, I was disappointed by my visit. There were less customers than there were drinks on tap, which made me think that my experience with the food would be wonderful – not woeful. I would describe the bar as bland. Sanitized. Lacking any atmosphere whatsoever. Not worth my time.

Staff were lovely and drinks were super affordable but one member of staff was rolling her eyes at every single person who ordered a drink... bartending or customer service might not be for her

Nice atmosphere, plenty of seating and you can choose which songs come up next. Karaoke on Thursdays is fun too!

Great for a drink and a chat with friends. They will most likely have the sound system on but not too loud. Cheap but good brands of beer, ales, cider etc. Also good pub food: burger and chips, pizza and fish and chips. Events such as comedy are £5 on the door on the night.

Food is alright, not overpriced

This is probably the best bar in the world. We've had some amazing times here; whether it was drinking 12 til 12, stacking empty cups from the table to the ceiling or heckling the quiz master on a Thursday! Literally the best

Perfectly serviceable student bar with a few ales on tap, and good value food. Gets pretty busy at lunch; outdoor seating overlooking the lawns is nice if you can get it.

Popular student hangout during lunch time. Go early if you want to beat the crowd or be prepared to wait in line. :)

Mojo's bar is definitely on par with michelin star restaurants. The sweet chili chicken wrap is the da bomb!
