We visit regularly to have lunch or coffee in their excellent restaurant, prices are not cheap but the food is plentiful and served quite quickly even when busy. We use our Loyalty card to get freebies and money off vouchers, overall their prices are a little on the expensive side but worth a visit. The car park now has EV chargers... if you can afford the ott kwh price. Pop down to the Aquatics shop and feed the fish, our grandkids love it.

A spacious and busy café with a warm atmosphere featuring superb food (tasty and plentiful) at reasonable prices. All staff are very customer oriented and tables are cleared almost immediately since ‘floor walkers’ are present continually to chat with guests and keep the environment very clean and tidy. A popular venue which speaks volumes!

I visited the cafe today and my son ordered ham, egg , chips and peas for both of us. I left nearly all of it. It was lukewarm and the eggs were barely cooked. I visited on the previous Wednesday and had a jacket potato. That was lukewarm too and the salad garnish was limp without any tomato and cucumber. My son's coffee was lukewarm too ..I do think you should look into this as your footfall will reduce. As regards the plants etc they are excellent

It isn’t too large do not overwhelming to find things you’re looking for. There are gifts as well as indoor and outdoor plants and their roses selection in the spring is legendary. Great cafe/restaurant with superb cake selection and plenty of seating inside and under cover outside - dogs are welcome. With pottery painting and aquatics too it really is a fantastic place to visit.

Today, on a rainy day, was an ideal place to visit. Lots of space in the car park. Great fun for the kids, especially with the pet store, pottery, and aquarium. Oh, not to forget the wide range of indoor and outdoor plants, tools, and a butcher on site. The restaurant was an absolute pleasure, with hot food and cakes. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. We sat outside on the sheltered balcony (The Terrace) but felt cooler and less noise. People were constantly cleaning the tables. So overall, I was really happy with my first visit.

It so lovely to find a garden centre that is still dog friendly and organised with a doggie station for any little accidents. So many places are changing and disallowing dogs now. Please don't ever change your policy as your shop has embraced doggie visits and of course their paying owners.

Love going to Henry Street as a garden centre, but as for the cafe breakfast, we have now given up. We went today for a Sunday breakfast, and for the third time in a row, our breakfast was luke warm at best. At the till we actually asked if they could make sure it came out hot. They put a note on our order to do so, but it wasn’t. On my Farmers breakfast the only hot bit was the hash brown. Our friend’s egg florentine we sent back, as it was actually cold, really, it was cold. The egg, the sauce were cold. The strange thing was, we were nearly first in the queue and I looked to the kitchen and there sitting out on the pass, ready to be served were six breakfasts. I mentioned this to our friends, as no customers had actually sat down yet. So whether plates are already served knowing that this is what people will order, I don’t know, but if it is the case, then I can see why the food isn’t hot enough.

Henry Street Garden Centre and Restaurant is an absolute gem for any gardening enthusiast! This place truly has everything you could need to get your garden thriving, and their specialty in roses is something to behold. It’s clear why they’ve been nominated for several awards over the years. The restaurant is a real treat, too. Their Eggs Royal is simply fantastic, and the caffe latte is one of the best I’ve had—smooth, rich, and perfect for a mid-morning pick-me-up. Plus, with free WiFi, it’s easy to settle in for an hour or two, catching up on social media or just relaxing in a cozy atmosphere. Henry Street is more than just a garden centre; it’s a place to unwind and enjoy great food surrounded by inspiring plants and flowers. Bonus point: they are dog-friendly. Highly recommend a visit!

Visited Henry Street Garden Centre recently, and their Christmas display was impressive. The place was packed with festive decorations, lights, and well-decorated trees. Every section had a different theme, which made it easy to find something unique. The staff was friendly and quick to help if you had any questions, and the selection was solid—plants, lights, ornaments, you name it. Picked up a few things to get the house ready for the holidays. If you're looking to get in the Christmas spirit, Henry Street is worth a stop.

Loads of parking, wonderful Christmas displays which are so beautiful, especially for the little ones, a great aquatic section with giant Carp to feed and lovely, brightly coloured fish in smaller tanks. The restaurant is huge with plenty of seating, but the last two times I have visited Henry street, the food has been really disappointing. Not hot enough and the cake on both occasions was so dry. I won't bother with the food again, which is why I have given it 4 stars, but the Christmas displays are gorgeous.

Bought 2 roses from Henry Street. Same variety, treated in exactly the same way with regard to position, soil, water, feed. One thriving and the other covered in rust shortly after purchase. Contacted Henry Street and was told to email them with pictures. After a week no response so phoned again. Then received very defensive phone call back telling me it was basically just bad luck and suggesting a chemical spray. I never use chemicals as we are encouraged to avoid these to protect our wildlife. What a disappointing service after spending almost £20 on each of the roses. Definitely won’t be going there again! Was expecting an offer to replace the rose as they are supposed to carry a guarantee. What a rip off!
