Henry Street Garden Centre in Wokingham

We visit on a regular basis, so have their loyalty card which gives us points on purchases then money off purchases and freebies each month. Overall we find it a little on the expensive side but everything is good quality and there is plenty of choice. The cafe is excellent with good sized portions, well cooked and usually served very quickly.

Good car parking, large store with a good range of products and a nice cafe.

Youngest grandson loves coming here as he enjoys feeding the koi carp then having lunch in the restaurant.

Beautiful garden centre with an exceptional cafe. The food here is absolutely delicious. The staff have also been so so lovely, always taking the time to have a friendly chat when clearing our table. Never had a bad experience. This garden centre stands out to us for the aquarium part as we have a very large tropical fish tank, so visit often to get supplies that we need.

Everything garden and pet related can be found here. To be honest we didn't have enough time to explore Everything but I'm sure if I didn't already have most of what a house needs I could have bought the shop out lol. Will be visiting again soon.

New restaurant is very smart for a garden centre. Very busy when we visited but the breakfast was worth it

Just a fantastic garden centre which forms part of our Christmas tradition of visiting to buy a bauble each year for our boys. They really make it magical for all ages.

At the end of the experience it is set out that you have walk half way round the shop to the tills very irritating!

Took my 18mth old Grandson to look at the Christmas displays and he loved them. Really fabulous displays. Coffee and cake was delicious too.

Cafe experience was terrible ! Only wanted a bacon roll but was charged £7.35 which was same price as one with sausage, bacon and egg in it. It was barely warm too ! Explanation was I was given extra bacon ! Complained to manager and got pathetic £2 email voucher to spend in same cafe - no thanks and will never go there again ! Total rip off. It’s cheaper to go to Harrods!!

Really nice food and service was polite. The all day breakfast was a bit small, and bacon mostly fat, but cakes and sandwiches were nice. Coffee was good quality too.

Fantastic Christmas display! Lots to see and gorgeous festive bits to buy. The restaurant is decent too, although there was a long queue it went fairly quickly and the food was fast. It's very spacious inside the restaurant too with a small but very well received play area. One of the best garden centres I've been to.

Visited Henry Street Garden Centre recently, and their Christmas display was impressive. The place was packed with festive decorations, lights, and well-decorated trees. Visited today, to look at Christmas decorations. I only had a few things in the basket and was shocked that the items totalled £95. There was nothing big or electrical. Ridiculous prices

Loads of parking, wonderful Christmas displays which are so beautiful, especially for the little ones, a great aquatic section with giant Carp to feed and lovely, brightly coloured fish in smaller tanks. The restaurant is huge with plenty of seating, but the last two times I have visited Henry street, the food has been really disappointing. Not hot enough and the cake on both occasions was so dry. I won't bother with the food again, which is why I have given it 4 stars, but the Christmas displays are gorgeous.

Garden centre always has plenty to offer lots of parking , the restaurant is very popular and good value for your money but does get busy

It was easy to find what I wanted, and I joined their loyalty card scheme. The restaurant was very busy but I found a seat and the food arrived pretty quickly.

Went In for a hot chocolate and breakfast. I had bacon roll and my sister in law had eggs on toast with portion of hash browns. The price was very expensive for what we got and the quality. The bacon was very fatty and I got 3 bits in a roll. The eggs for the eggs on toast were hard and not even on the toast and the portion of hash browns was awful you got one for a very expensive price! The hot chocolates were luke warm considering I asked for extra hot. All in all I thought the food was poor and the drinks were ok. I love the garden centre and used to love the coffee shop but recently it has gone down hill and is pricey.

I came with my family to have some lunch. We decided just to have sandwiches and coffees. The first batch of sandwiches were stale. The manager took them away and said a fresh batch would be made. The 2nd batch came out and green mould was all over the bread. Absolutely revolting! What topped it off was we didn’t even get an apology. All I got was “your joking”. We were offered cake but quite frankly we were put off from eating any food. Safe to say we won’t be returning!

Great breakfast and friendly staff

Bought 2 roses from Henry Street. Same variety, treated in exactly the same way with regard to position, soil, water, feed. One thriving and the other covered in rust shortly after purchase. Contacted Henry Street and was told to email them with pictures. After a week no response so phoned again. Then received very defensive phone call back telling me it was basically just bad luck and suggesting a chemical spray. I never use chemicals as we are encouraged to avoid these to protect our wildlife. What a disappointing service after spending almost £20 on each of the roses. Definitely won’t be going there again! Was expecting an offer to replace the rose as they are supposed to carry a guarantee. What a rip off!

The monthly membership discounts are super great. In August, I got a free pot of pink roses, and in September, I got free tulip bouquets.

I was given a Afternoon tea voucher for my birthday, It was a lovely spread and good service provided by Chrissy in the Cafe, there was plenty of food and drinks as we requested.

Love this place, a fantastic choice, the best place around for Roses, a great aquatic area, an abundance of garden pot designs, decent furniture displays, and an excellent cafe/restaurant. From Oct, the Xmas layout and variety is a must-see, the best around the area.

Food and drink standards have dropped since I last visited. Staff member who served us needs to out the back instead serving customers due to having no customer service skills

I ordered a Red Sparkler Rambler, arrived before time. It was very well boxed, the foliage was very healthy looking and had many buds. So 10/10 very pleased, thank you.

Our family loves Henry Street Garden Centre. Cafe/Restaurant is always good and always very busy. Staff are always friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have. Plenty of parking, and you can even get your car washed whilst you are shopping. You can get anything and everything for your garden here. We do not use any other Garden Centre now we have found Henry Street. Loyalty card is a must for monthly freebies and money off vouchers.

After picking up my other half from school, we decided to grab a quick bite at Henry's Garden Centre. With a range of food options on offer, we chose the melt vegan cheese toasted and a cup of coffee. We settled at an outdoor table with a charming view of the plants for sale. The waitress arrived with our foods and drinks, it was hot and delicious, making for a delightful and relaxing stop before heading home.

Just had three roses delivered, which I bought online. Very fine specimens; large, healthy and very well wrapped. Delivery through DPD was very efficient and timely. Very happy.

Purchased this plant and flower display pot from Henry Street garden centre last September, and it's flowered all through the winter, and it is still going well , £14 well spent, the staff here are always happy to help if you have questions the restaurant food is good quality and ok in price,

We frequently visit Henry Street and enjoy a morning coffee and cake. We find the staff always pleasant. Unfortunately the only downside is the toilets by the restaurant. It’s a huge space with two different sized toilets which I never understand. I can’t understand why they can’t make, say, three cubicles; sometimes the wait can be long when they are busy.

Good prices and a lot of options, their pottery painting workshop is really good and staff really lovely

Still very Expensive but good café, oddly this time they seemed to lack a big section of plants.
