Mojlish Indian Takeaway in Chelmsford

Food was completely tasteless.. only difference between the 2 curries was a bit of chilli... unfortunately will not be ordering again.

King prawn vindaloo had 6 very small pieces of prawn like rubber, 2 small potatoes and sauce that was like water - I tipped down sink it was truly horrible The mixed grill chicken was ok, lamb and sewer really poor. The nan bread was ok. I won’t be going back as really was disapppointing

Despite ordering way in advance for a specific delivery time it arrived 30mins after I had booked it for. Food was bland with almost no flavour. Wouldn’t recommend

I didn’t particularly enjoy the food, didn’t taste of anything and really thin sauce which wasn’t to my liking.

Good size portions, pretty good flavour.

The delivery driver was very friendly and polite. The food was delivered on time and it was clearly cared for as nothing had tipped over or leaked. Food was hot and absolutely delicious, just the right amount of spice in the Chicken Tikka Masala. The chips were absolutely amazing, hot, crispy and so so yummy. It was well worth the money. We highly recommend Mojlish Indian. This was our 2nd time ordering from here and the quality of food was the same as the first time. After trying several other Indian take aways in Chelmsford We definitely won't go anywhere else now.

After that I recieved a further email telling me I had earned a single stamp? Now I can find no reference to my £13.46 discount??? Other than delivery being somewhat random (last time we ordered it was delivered 15 minutes early!) the food and service in general is very good.

Absolutely delicious! The chicken was so tender the madras has a good kick to it. Even the Korma has a lovely flavour and not bland would highly recommend

I enjoyed the food although was disappointed with the sag paneer as it tasted heavily of coconut. Have had it many times at other places and never experienced that. A shame when I don’t like coconut.

Lamb was like Stanley’s inner sole

Food delivered cold and everything was bland. Veg curry was sludge with no taste, biriani again no taste and over cooked. Saag paneer watery and not actually paneer, it was just melted cheddar which due to not being delivered very hot had become solid again.

Food was hot and tasty and chicken very moist

We have had many good meals from these guys. They are always accurate with what we order, they are always on time, and the food is always tasty. They have also literally gone the extra mile when we have ordered from beyond their normal delivery area. Highly recommended.

Great food and big portions! Great way to start the week amazing staff and the delivery driver was very friendly! Will be ordering again!

Got a Korma, which was very spicy and seemed to have chillis in. Very unusual. Everything else also seemed to be a lot hotter, then previously experienced, was not the most pleasant.

Have had better flavours in the past. I love mojish.The popadoms where not crunchy they were chewy. The prawn curry was very runny.

Brilliant food, tikka masala with pilu rice and a naan all hot and really tasty. Ordered 2 poppadoms and they were both stale

I have not enjoyed this meal at all. Quality of my food is really poor, specifically the lamb tikka masala, the sag aloo, and the onion bhaji / samosa mix.

First time ordering. Had it highs and lows. The meat samosa very nice aswell as rice and mushroom Bhaji. Saag gosht wasn’t very nice and had a strange smell only managed to eat the lamb pieces. Likely to order again but try something different

We order from these guys all the time and the food is always top quality! I recommend the lamb dansak or the chicken tikka. The meat is always cooked to perfection every time!

Delivery time changed after ordering making it later than original time, when food got here it was lukewarm, Naan bread tasted burnt. Very disappointed customer who often returns.

The food was quite tasteless and it looked like it had been put in a microwave as you know if something has been pinged by what it looks like. Masala should be runny, this was thick and tasteless.

Food was OK. Lamb was chewy and not tasty, the sauce was lovely but the actual meat let it right down. The onion bhajis were soggy and not crisp at all, greasy. Everything else was OK. Bit disappointed really. Better Indian takeaway available in Chelmsford. Probably won't order from here again. 😕

Rice and chicken in my korma was very dry. Naan bread was very thin and tasteless. Very expensive for poor quality food.

Had ordered from here for years and todays one really wasn’t up to normal standards… chicken quality wasn’t great, really oily onion bahji, broken apart and no mint sauce and kheema naan all the meat was scrunched up in one corner … maybe extra busy tonight

Had Tikka Bhuna lamb. Meat pieces were so large and tough had to use a saw edge knife to make it eatable. Rice was very watery

Delivery was 40 mins late from a pre-order time, food was ok but the Rezala was mild. Hopefully a one off as not had any issues previously.

Food was delivered early which was great and the sauces to both curries we ordered were really tasty. However, the chicken was so dry which made the meal less enjoyable overall and we received boiled rice instead of the pilau we ordered.
