Mohak Cafe in South Cambridgeshire

We go here for lunch but have also eaten on a Thali night which is amazing. This time we had lunch, I had a burger with salad and chips my husband the curry. Such amazing value for money the burger was truly fantastic, the curry, spicy and tasty as normal

Visited for a coffee and cake. Pretty average and a bit mucky inside. Really really disappointed to find out after our visit that this place only has one star food hygiene . Why are they even open?

I’m writing this on behalf of my Mum who went to Mohak for coffee with a friend this morning. On chatting to the waitress Mum mentioned that it was her 89th birthday, as well as her friends birthday today. The waitress then brought them both complementary chocolate cake! What a wonderful, kind and generous thing to do. Thank you Mohak, you made my Mum’s birthday extra special.

Great little stop off. Superb coffee, real tea and gorgeous cakes (iced blueberry muffin and date slice were sampled).

We drove out to Haslingfield for a delicious Gujarati thali dinner - this small family restaurant do it on Friday and Saturday evening, booking essential. it was delicious, a real treat; they cook with passion and pride as well as expertise. The street food starter was a marvellous mix of flavours. The main dish comprised a couple of meat curries, dahl, rice and breads, fried snacks, salad and halva - they will pack leftovers as a takeaway . We did ask them to do that for the dessert and they were even packed in eco-friendly containers. Service was friendly. Nothing was "hot" but all very tasty and well balanced. Definitely somewhere to go again.

We have been utterly charmed by the owners and menu at this welcome addition to the community each of the three times we've visited: for lunch, for cakes and for a wonderful 'Thali by Night' evening meal. We appreciate being able to opt for outside seating, and the food and hospitality spills over from the kitchen to the overall experience and ambiance. With many thanks - see you again soon!

I really look forward to visiting this place on each visit I make to Harlton. The coffee is the best for miles , better than any I’ve tasted in London where I live. The important thing is that it is so consistent in presentation and quality so the management obviously train each staff member so well. I was worried when I was served by a young man rather than the extraordinarily delightful young lady who normally serves me but my concerns were abated when once again I was served with a delicious ‘Americano with hot milk’. I really enjoyed every sip. They pay particular attention to detail here. Even a take away is served in a lovely little box with sustainable cutlery. Toast is served with one’s own portion sized real , branded quality butter. The menu for breakfasts suit everyone, again pure quality and considering this , very reasonable in price. Curry is on offer during the evenings which I am very much hoping to try. Well done to the owner(s) of this place and to all the staff who brighten up my day on each visit from London. I cannot wait to visit again , which hopefully will be next week

We ordered a bacon sandwich (which was delightful), but they brought chips instead of croquettes! Bring them back!! They are deluxury and fantastically delicious! WHAT DO WE WANT? CROQUETTES! WHEN DO WE WANT THEM? NOW!!!!! NO MORE CHIPS WITH OUR BACON SANDWICHES! ONLY CROQUETTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BYEEE

Mohak has been open for about six weeks, we have been three times. First time, on their second night just my wife and me. Then two weeks later we took my daughter, husband and two granddaughters, and last night we took two friends who rated it the best Indian meal, ever.

After many daytime visits for coffee and cake, tried their special curry night. Spectacular food, made to feel very welcome and loved the authenticity and style of presentation
