Moghul Palace in Walsall

9 of us went yesterday for a birthday meal. The staff are amazing. The food is gorgeous and it's so pretty inside.

Simply the best food in Walsall! Try to visit at least once a month. Went last night (28th March) fortunately pre booked as was super busy both diners and on line orders. Fish Pakora was stunning as was the mains. Great staff who even though run off their feet were attentive and polite. Love it here 🤩

Decor and design sets the mood, and the team and food goes above and beyond. Arrived for our 6pm booking, and table was ready and already off to a busy start in the restaurant. We ordered poppadoms and were brought extra over due to a delay in the kitchen but by 6.30 had our main meals, very thoughtful for a small delay. Food was exquisite. Poppadoms were probably the nicest I've ever had, and all of our meals were fresh, tender, well seasoned and so tasty. H and everyone one else we encountered were so lovely. Best restaurant cuisine I've enjoyed in a long while - can't find a fault - thank you all 😁🙏

Without question this is the best food I’ve ever had delivered. Very high end quality ingredients, full of flavour, immaculately presented, simply brilliant. I am so glad we found this restaurant. Even my fussy eater daughter loved her meal. Jalfrezi, Marsala, Pathia all equally great but the highlight is the quality of the lamb. No fat, no gristle but lots of taste and texture. We’ll done guys, in an age of food mediocrity you have my family happy and found a loyal customer.

First time visiting our local Indian restaurant as we've recently moved to Pelsall. From the moment we stepped in we were welcomed and hit with the smells of aromatics we immediately felt at home ready to have our taste buds tantilised. The decor was very pleasing to. We were seated on time and given plenty of time to peruse over the menu. Lots of choices but not too much which can be overwhelming. The food arrived hot ,smelled fantastic, and tasted absolutely delicious! All the flavour and spice that you'd expect from an Asian restaurant. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent, very friendly and down to earth. Customer engagement was on point cant fault anything which is rare these days. So a very well done to all floor staff and kudos to the chef and kitchen staff. The price was very reasonable to. We will without a doubt return very soon. Thank you moghal Palace. keep it up.

Lovely atmosphere with outstanding service. Food is absolutely delicious. My Daughter had food left over and they put it in a container for her to take home and even sent her with extra poppadoms.

Came here for the first time last night and we had the best time, food was amazing staff were so lovely and friendly and extra helpful and welcoming, and it's a really beautiful little place the atmosphere, and decor is gorgeous. All round perfect can't wait to come back again, and will be recommending to everyone :)

I've had takeaways from here and enjoyed them, but dining in is next level. Food is delicious and presentation is faultless. The staff are friendly, funny and helpful. So happy to have this as my local restaurant.

Disappointed. Expected it to be longer than normal as it was new years eve but we called at 6:20pm was told it was going to be 8:45pm still was happy to proceed however at 8:30pm had a call from them saying it will be 9:30pm so we said yes that fine, it finally turned up at 10:10pm. The portion size was really small and no salad mint sauce just poppadoms on there own. The food tasted fine but the portion size was ridiculous. Not even a full plate. Also had to heat the food on arrival. Considering we are 5 minutes down the road this isn't good enough. since leaving the above review I have eaten at Moghul palace a couple of times and the food and the service has been great. I assume the issue on new years when I last left a review was purely because of how busy they would've been. I highly recommend paying them a visit and dining in. it's a great place.

The food is amazing, everyone is so friendly and they will recommend something delicious if you can't decide what you want. They will tell you when food takes a bit more time, but trust me, it's always worth it! We have had takeaways for ages but love eating in for date night now too and have started bringing the family for a treat. Visited again on Saturday and nothing was too much trouble. The sharer starter is to die for. We are local and want to keep this hidden gem to ourselves, but they deserve the recognition :)

Ordered food at 6pm on just eat expected a wait but our food dident arrive until 9pm after constantly ringing and not getting through then told it was on the way! We have eaten from moghul palace many times and when our food eventually arrived it was all cold and ended up in the bin what a waste of £45

Ate at Moghul Palace last night. Good number of guests for a miserable Thursday in early January which we took as a good sign. The staff were very friendly and welcoming with a little bit of pleasant banter. Poppadum’s good and fresh as were the accompaniments. It is a long time since we had King Prawn Puri’s so asked if this was possible (it was just Prawn Puri on the menu and they were happy to oblige. The prawns and paste around them were excellent. Would have liked the Puris themselves just a tad thinner but this is probably just personal preference. Anyway, really enjoyed it. My main was a House Chicken speciality and was excellent fresh and plenty of flavour. Regrettably my wife chose Butter Chicken which was not like any other Butter chicken we have ever had. I ate much of her dish and fortunately she really enjoyed mine so we have put that down for her on our return (just have to try to remember the name – the dish, not my wife’s name!). In summary, lovely staff and food very good (give the Butter Chicken a swerve).

You regularly tempt us to have a takeaway for an 'end of week treat' and tonight was yet another very very tasty meal, thank you. Would highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Saag (with mushrooms as extra). You always make the little changes that we ask for, which is much appreciated. Have also eaten in a few times too recently and the food was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back soon, thank you :)

Good quality traditional food, generous sized portions too!

Tried to get a get a table at 9pm but they said we had to be out by 10pm, so the food must be microwaved. It was"ray" so obviously popular but the customers must have had to be in bed by 10:30pm. Mom obviously said so.

I have had may takeaways from here but never eaten in as it's always fully booked. Managed to get a table for 4 and wow am I glad I did. This is probably the best Indian restaurant I have eaten in, the staff were incredibly friendly and very efficient. Great food. Cash only payment. (There is a cash point over the road)

Our friends just moved into the area so we celebrate the move here and we wasn't disappointed, food was awesome ,so tasty fresh and well presented after all we eat with our eyes, The staff were very friendly and engaging and what can you say about the decor!! Booked last night for my birthday. booking was made by my son. 30 minutes before are booking we received a phone call to say they had double booked. So we were told it would be delayed by 30 minutes but an hour later still no table. So we left . They didn't care.

Very disappointed with tonight's food ... Chips were not fresh and all 3 curries not up to usual high standard. Had repeat order as had a delivery on 23rd December and food was perfect all round. Clearly a different chef in my opinion.

Tried Moghul Palace after seeing it advertised on Facebook. Lovely decor, friendly attentive staff. Food was nice. I found it slightly more expensive from our usual curry house in Stonnall, approx £7 as we normally have the same meal each time we go out.

We love this place! Over the years it just gets even better. The menu is really interesting and varied. Presentation is great. I'm so pleased this is on our doorstep! I love how this team do lots for the community too. Love the new revamp too

The restaurant has received a stylish refurb that makes the place look very welcoming, but it certainly isn't style over substance. The welcome we received from one of the owners (Jay) was excellent. He was attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The menu has a wide variety of meals that caters for all. The food was brilliant! The curries we had (Lamb Bhuna & Tikka Balti) were rich and incredibly flavoursome and presented in an attractive way. We will definitely be back soon. Chris

Hi Was really looking forward to my takeaway food tonight. It arrived but considering we are less than 10mins away was cold and your cheesy nan bread had never seen any cheese. Needless to say after all the hype about the mogul Palace even recommended by other family members needless to say very disappointed and will not use again.

A great menu, friendly and welcoming service and absolutely delicious food. A favourite of ours and will definitely be back soon.

Myself and my partner have been eating here for a number of years. We always take our family and friends when they visit the area. The food has always been excellent. The ingredients and standard of cooking are perfect and the presentation is exemplary. All of the staff are very helpful and friendly and make the atmosphere very relaxed. Having eaten Indian food in many cities I can honestly say that the Moghul Palace is the best food. Fareed runs an excellent restaurant

Proud to say this is my local. Beautiful food and presentation. Nice atmosphere, great service by the two waiting staff. My son had a junior korma which was perfect, I had samosa chaat and then sea bass this time with a Bhuna style sauce was different to my usual choices and delicious. Highly recommend!

Wonderful food, service (thanks Aisha and Joe), and atmosphere. A vegan menu would have been nice, although they did explain that some dishes can be adapted to be as such. Will be back.
