Excellent service by staff all round, glad to be back. Lovely food in a nice fresh setting. Fantastic evening, thank you to Dee who always goes above and beyond, she’s a star. Nothing at all was to much for her and she handled herself wonderfully, thank you Dee your also great with the little ones

Cold food will not return for lunch anymore.Even weigh the meat now..I know you dont expect really hot but it should at least be warm.But it was stone cold.I got there for 12.30 so not like it had been sitting there all day.Come on management do something about it.Otherwise you will lose custom..

Visited 5.30pm on Thursday, carvery deck looked like they had just opened food was very well presented, hot and plenty of choice. Sauces and gravy area was clean and well stocked. In between serving guests could see carver cleaning and sweeping keeping everything looking perfect. Drinks came out very quick from Barman. Nice clean restaurant would definitely recommend.

Visited the restaurant this afternoon and had a carvery meal. We were welcomed by Sharon and she showed us to our seats and took our drink orders. We received our drinks and waited a few more minutes but no server appeared. We went and got our carvery meal and helped ourselves to some gravy and went back to our seats where there was no cutlery or napkins or no server in sight. I went to another table and took the cutlery and napkin off their table. We found our meal only slightly warm and then we sussed it the gravy that we used was more or less cold - popped up to test the gravy and noticed it had been pushed off the hot plate and spoke to one of your ladies there and she took it off completely and informed the chefs. Needless to say that we both had upset stomachs when we arrived home and we did inform the restaurant.

5 Star Review that is totally deserved! This restaurant has been transformed! It is newly refurbished and has a new manageress that is superb and on the ball! The staff are nice, polite and courteous and the food and service is fantastic, and the venue is amazing! Neve the server was so friendly, Aaron was the best carver ever and Maria was the bestest chef! We will definitely visit again, it was an absolute pleasure!

Popped in to the Toby carvery @ the Moby Dick on whale bone lane for lunch. It was a bit early but we were hungry , got seated very quickly and there was hardly any queue waiting to be served the choice of meat was very good there was five options and the portions were good. The vegetables were plentyful and everything was hot.Sylvia who was in charge of the food made sure everything was topped up and well presented. The atmosphere was jovial and made for a pleasant lunch. The place was starting to get busy as we were finishing. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

A complete all round great experience! A big thank you to the chef Mo the food was great, the carver Sylvia and the server Dee.I cannot give a higher review! We will be coming again!

Amazing service by Tammy. The manager Sharon was very welcoming upon our arrival and the Chef Sylwias hash is the best part of this amazing breakfast. Will definitely be back.

Not really impressed. Poor to non existent service and lukewarm food. The floor was covered with food which hadn’t been cleaned up. Can’t see why this was the case as restaurant was 2/3rds empty. Manager great and older guy on serving bench totally understood the seriousness of food allergies. The young guy on the serving bench was nonchalant and didn’t really seem to “get it.” I’m still alive tho without a hospital visit!

Took my 86 year old mum here for her birthday. The most important thing for me that day was she felt that she was looked after, and she certainly was; several of the staff team either helped her to her seat, helped her with her plate, and helped her back again. Really caring team and we were well served at our table by Elvita. Our carver was Sylwia who gave good portions and friendly service. Looks good after its refurbishment, we'll be back.
