M&M Kebabs & Burgers in Bristol, City of

The kebab meat was tasteless although a decent portion of salad. However, my main gripe is the fact they served me the takeaway with a plastic fork. These are banned and terrible for the environment. How is this allowed ??

Orders on ubereats. Ordered the mixed kebab which was said to have had kofte and shish and doner. All I got was doner! Salad was literally a sprinting of onion, no lettuce, cucumber or chilli. Barely any sauce. Extremely disappointed, £17 for what was essentially a bit of doner meat and onion on top of a pitta. NOT what I ordered. Terrible, last time I order from M&M. Do not trust them, they will just send you what they have left over not what you ordered!!!

I'm a regular at this restaurant, I've had it many times and have always enjoyed it.But what happened today made me feel angry and hurt and disappointed! The shop assistant couldn't understand what I wanted in my food but he still charged me 12.5 pounds. And he said in England you should speak English, if you can’t speak English you should ask your teacher. He said a lot of things like that and asked other customers if this was true. I couldn’t believe that he was insulting me. Obviously his own English is not very good and he can’t understand me. I don’t know why he treated me like that. Is he discriminating against non-native English speakers？Is it because I am an Asian girl ? I was very very upset and disappointed. Although the manager apologized for this, but I will never come back to the restaurant again.

M&M Kebabs is where grease is the secret ingredient and smiles save the night. The food's greasy, but the staff's charm turns a failed night out into an unexpected joyride. Slippery slopes never tasted so good.

Had food delivered none was edible it was disgusting. Rock hard chips and so was the fish. The kebab smelt off and salad all soggy I put the lot in the bin. The delivery man was so rude. It all arrived cold. Deliveroo did nothing as always.

The food was great and the guy taking the order was friendly as well. Will definitely go back whenever I'm in the centre to grub a meal.

Disappointing Kofta, bland with only a chilli heat, no real other flavour. Not expecting a gourmet kebab, but some taste would have been nice. Chips were ok.

Really lovely guys working there on the day we went - we went on a Thursday about 10pm so it wasn’t busy yet so caught them in a good mood maybe ◡̈ Chicken shish, kofte and lamb shish amazing ….. the chicken donor was the last bits on the bottom of the spot before the replaced with a new one …. So not their fault just bad timing. Overall really good kebab and good service ! Would absolutely go back again !

The food is ok, though not the best... The service is the worst I have seen in years!!! Please, do not be only nice to those who look English... Everyone should be treated the same. I understand you are tired at 10 pm, but it's not my fault...

There is nothing good that can be said about the kebab I had last night. The bread was untoasted, soggy and revolting, the meat cheap, nasty and not fresh. And to top it all it was £8. Pull your finger out of your backside and deliver a higher quality product, it's really not difficult. Oh and there was no chilli sauce.

Don't even think about a visit to this kebab place. Cheap, low quality, untoasted bread, no chilli, expensive and delivered without the least effort. Con artists.

Fantastic kebabs. Okay a kebab can be very unhealthy but in moderation it's a real treat if you find the right place. Always have one from here if we are going to a gig in the centre of Bristol. The kebabs aren't dripping in fat and are just delicious.

Vert arrogant staff would not recommend

I had the lamb doner and chicken doner, fries, and a mixed salad. Now, this was sufficient for drunk chow. But I also had the lamb shish, and this was not messing around. It was tender, a bit sweet, and just the right amount grilled with some tasty fat flavor. I recommend the lamb shish, fries, and everything else is yummy.

I ate doner kebab with my daughter. There was a lot of meat and it was delicious. My daughter was happy to receive a lollipop as a service.

Lovely guys working here for the staff but the food is sadly repulsive. It was edible at least and the meat cooked well enough, but the overall ingredients are of extremely low quality and the defrosted and cooked packaged bread was weird... cannot tell if it was a flat bread of a stodgy cake! This place is probably good for a night out when you are too drunk to care, but trying to eat it sober isn't good at all

Usually this pakcr is on, but I asked for the same as I uslaly ask for-a kebab with no chilli sauce and no onions. The guy made it without onions, then covered it in chilli sauce and then had the nerve to tell me I'd like it and come back again.. Errm...no. I asked for it without chilli. I won't be back again if you can't listen and respect my desicion.

Really unwelcoming to women, the men were very clearly gawping and making disgusting comments and so didn’t get my order correct. Defo do not go here alone if you are a woman - very rapey vibes.

Feel like ive just been scammed! Ordered 2 mix kebabs of uber eats paying £17 each! All i got was a £3 donner kebab! Tried calling. No answer! Never again!!

Honestly literally the worst kebab I've ever had. It came out in seconds (including a chicken shish) and had zero taste. Sent it back and the second one sas as bad as the first. Absolutely dreadful. Seriously don't bother. It doesn't matter how drunk you are, it will taste just as bad. Plus at £12 for a large chicken shish with doner meat, there was just 5 pieces of chicken. Absolute rip off.

Not sure if this review will stay in plain view, as it were, and indeed I'm not even sure if many people read a review in detail before making a decision to roll out of a boozer into a kebab house, but here goes: I walked into the shop, which until recently was staffed by attentive and happy folks. I asked for a kofta, donner and chips, at which point the gents behind the counter conferred briefly before offering me the card reader to pay. Thinking nothing of it, I paid but asked for a receipt which after asking twice came out at £13.95. Upon questioning, two arguments were apparent from the gent that served me; namely that the prices rose £2.50 since yesterday, and secondly that my particular combination was not listed on the menu. Needless to say, when repeatedly questioned, the answer was dubious to say the least, but I'll leave it up to your judgement as to whether you think that's worth it. In summary, I left with the food and the resolve never to return to that particular establishment again. Shame, as previous experiences made me return regularly, but not after this shambolic show.

Spent £10 on a mixed dinner to get delivered. A complete rip off. Hardly any meat. Feels like they take advantage of the delivery orders. DONT GET A KEBAB DELIVERED to avoid disappointment. Did seem to be very greasy. Asked for garlic mayo and was given regular mayo. Asked for chilli sauce and no chilli. What a shambles. Won’t be ordering from there again which is a shame as I local. I go to Bristol occasionally to visit some friends who attend Uni there, after our nights out, like many, we end up at some sort of kebab or chicken shop. My visits were several months apart. My first visit I pay 20 pounds for a 7 pound kebab and while I was drunk I distinctly remember being given 3 pounds change, noticing immediately that I had been short changed I said "Sorry mate I think you've forgotten a Tenner" he begrudgingly said "Oh yes sorry" and hesitantly gave it back. My second visit again after a night out just before new years I realise where we have ended up, unfortunately all other Kebab or Chicken shops were shut at this time so I had no choice but to either go home with an empty stomach or give M and M Kebabs another chance, my friend goes in first and within 2 minutes he has his kebab and is out the door, I go in make the same order for a large kebab and 15 minutes after paying (and surprisingly being given the correct change) the person who took my order asks me what I would like and I inform him I had already made my order, which of course he already knew because he took it?, his colleague then confrontationally asks me if I've paid at which point I look him dead in the eyes and in a firm tone say "YES, I've definitely paid" At which point they made my kebab and I left. Overall Food is good for some after clubbing munch, but be careful you don't get mugged off

I know kebabs are meant to be greasy but surely they shouldn't be 40% grease, right? I was drunk when I went to this place, but evidently not drunk enough to actually stomach the food. I'd have to down two liters of vodka and have had nothing to eat for at least three days before I could stomach this kebab (aka pure grease) Staff are friendly though

Absolutely horrible customer service, being misogynistic towards my girlfriend & then confrontational & rude towards me. The food was cold and undercooked, they moaned when we asked what sauces they had, claiming ‘we have to say 100 times today already’ - not our problem, put them somewhere they can be seen. They also then charged us twice claiming one card had declined & refused to serve any food until they charged us again! Horrible experience and will never go back there again, couldn’t recommend it any less.

security guard and the owner/managers son were incredibly misogynistic towards me. The son started speaking to me and wouldnt leave me alone and it then escalated from there. the man who supposedly has a job in security did nothing but laugh when the owners son was shouting ‘i want to smack this girl so badly ‘ to me, repeatedly, he said ‘i’ve got all the security guards on lock’ in a way to suggest i was helpless in the situation. the group this boy was with was saying ‘the only thing women are useful for is their p_ssy ‘ and the security guard just laughed. i have not been able to stop thinking about these vile people and how they got away with it, and how such a blatant misogynist has a job in security. absolutely appalling.

Attempts to charge more than items are priced on the menu.

They don't really give student discount. The board is put up in a deceitful manner. When asked about it, they gave shady answers. However, the chicken shish was quite good.

Food was terrible. The chips were so salty that I had to bin them as they were inedible. To make things worse they put the chips in a polystyrene packaging which is obviously not environmentally friendly but also the polystyrene melts due to the heat of the chips. I also had kofte kebab - the meat was very bland and rather dry. I definitely won’t be returning!

Really dry and the doner and chips doesn't come with salad as stated 😡😡😡 Go Mr doner instead (but makes sure you go before 11pm) Hope you and yours are well M&M but your kebab wasn't too tasty. Take care X

Worst experience ever! Ordered food through Just Eat....2hours and 30 minutes later we were still awaiting for the delivery.....Almost 3 hours later the food arrived...appalling! Dry...over cooked....items missing....absolutely disgusting! We tried to call the restaurant a millions of times with no success!!!! I do not reccomend this place at all!!!

RIP off prices, give you small amounts of donermeat and have the cheek to charge extra for salad!? Would avoid on a night out, as you will be taken advantage off.

I never write reviews on food places!!! This place gives the worst piss poor excuse for a kebab... Ever!!! I got a broken / unopened Pitta with a few pieces of chicken and mayonnaise thrown on top, with a salad on the side (non of it actually in the pitta). What a joke!, I'd give zero stars if it was an option!!!

Stopped off here on the way back to our hotel for a bite to eat, very nice kebab, and the chip are cooked well, can't go wrong here for a late night takeaway

Tell you what, I spent over £7 on a donner wrap and chips and was thinking - damn, that's a lot of money for what I'm getting. Then he got the fat wrap out and layed a king sized bed of veg which I was all about. He proceeded to top it with a mountain of meat. What is going on?? Is this guy f*in nuts? I asked for extra chilli's and he chilli'd me up hard. All in all, I got the one meal I know i'd request as my last meal. Huge, tasty and just also tasty as well. Cheers boys 👌

Located in the centre of Bristol this is one of many late night fast food restaurants available. If you are hungry after a few social drinks in town and want something quick and easy to eat then this is the place. Clean and tidy with friendly staff. The food is ok and nothing outstanding however if your hungry then this place is right for you. They have many food options on the menu and also sell soft drinks mostly in cans.

Maybe fine if it’s 3am and you’ve had quite a few. Otherwise low quality for a medium-high price

Nothing special, greasy chips. Pitta and hummus is nice. Generally not a memorable experience, nothing special, not worth a visit.

I ordered a large lamb donner kebab and it tasted very bad and the meat was almost definitely off, I was unable too stomach one mouthful of the stuff and had to spit it back out and chucked the whole lot in the bin. Do not recommend anybody eating from this kebab house... OFF MEAT, I feel ill. GRIM... GRIM... and also gross!

After seeing a show we thought we would go for something quick and easy it was getting late I had a burger meal which was cooked fresh and tasted ok chips was cooked well my partner has lamb shish which she enjoyed polite service and cooked quickly

Standard kebab house - good selection and we all demolished our food. No seats or tables so you have to stand up and eat like a horse. Drunks fighting outside but there is security.

I was in Bristol on 21st June 2017 which was the hottest June day in over 40 years. I was there on business and due to the heat and being alone did not want to go to some swanky restaurant. Instead I opted for a kebab. I bought a "House Special" from M&M after seeing there was lots of public seating opposite the road by the river and a good busker had set up in the early evening sun. PERFECT!! The Turkish guy inside the shop was very clean and friendly and naturally I tried my very limited Turkish on him "Meherbar and Yassassin". Whilst my meal was being cooked we had a chat about football and Turkey to pass the time. On top of my House Special kebab I opted for chilli sauce and garlic mayo. The chilli was not too hot which suited me and the garlic mayo was lovely. The House Special included a base of doner, some shish, some chicken breast and some kofte. All were absolutely lovely and with a separate fresh salad and 2 x pitta breads the meal was very filling and relatively healthy as the donor meat was limited. A local who was sitting on a bench close to me commented that my meal smelled lovely and he now fancied a kebab. I am rarely in Bristol, but when I return to the area I will no doubt chose M&M again. A worthy 5 stars.
