Had always heard good things about MK Everest... its a bit hidden in the depths of Woverton, but worth hunting it out on the square. Momo dumplings are a must if you visit!! The Thalis are great to try a bit of everything!! Will definately go back again!

Sadly I have to write a negative review of my experience on Sat 2nd Dec 2023 at this restaurant which I had been looking forward to visiting for a few weeks. I arrived on a very cold evening at around 7 pm and there was no one in the place. I asked for a table for one and was able to choose where i wanted to sit by a friendly young man. The restaurant is well decorated, clean and well lit. The menu is quite small but that's to be expected from a small place like this is. I ordered a platter and three glasses of red wine over the course of the evening. The food was nice though service was somewhat slow which was odd as I was the only person there until four people arrived when I was almost ready to leave. The most negative element of the experience was the freezing draught that I could feel as I tried to eat meal. This was compounded by at least two delivery people entering the restaurant at speed but leaving the front door ajar. A customer did the same and as I was so cold I had to ask him to close the door. As I was so cold I had to put on my heavy coat to finish the meal and I was glad to leave and get in a warm taxi as it was minus 3. I told the server how I felt about the meal which was nice and It was good of him to provide me with two takeout trays to enjoy the rest of the food at home. I had to him that the enjoyment had been tarnished by the cold. A couple of fan heaters placed at high levels are no where near enough to heat the room up. What a shame. Its called Mk Everest and I felt like I was on the mountain itself though that would be colder. I will not be returning. I hope the owners take action quickly as people will not dine in a freezing restaurant.

Wonderful meal here to celebrate my birthday. The food was a fabulous fusion of Indo-Asian flavours and authentic Nepalese cuisine. Made from scratch and totally fresh, which was reassuring for my son who has a dairy allergy. In a small town with a melting pot of quality places to eat, MK Everest is a worthy addition. We recommend the Momos and the tasty lamb noodle soup that looks almost like laksa. Service was alittle slow but we were in no hurry and it’s not often the family all get to sit together anyway. The staff couldn’t do enough; at the end, they presented me with the most delicious fresh cream cake and serenaded us with happy birthday on the guitar! Support a small business and give them a try!

Since Yak a yeti closed we where so sad because the food there was amazing but we where happy to learn the previous owner is now at MK Everest. Honestly the nicest people and best curry in Milton Keynes. This is my go too now I can't resist the Samosa Chat and all the momo's. Please support them and try honestly you won't be disappointed with the food. The restaurant environment is basic but I like the family feel, the only thing I would change in the lighting to create more ambiance and not be so bright.

We had a fabulous time today in this lovely independent Nepalese restaurant, newly opened in Wolverton. The food was amazingly delicious, nice big portions and reasonably priced too. A big selection of vegetarian dishes, which was a bonus as its hard to find restaurants with a varied variety of veggie options. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. The owner came out to say hello to us personally and also check if we enjoyed the food or needed anything. We loved the food so much, especially the steamed Momos and Samosa Chaat, that we can’t wait to go back and eat loads more!!

The best Indian in Milton Keynes. Great food, great staff. Eat in or take away. I'm working my way through the menu.

Himalayan Indian is a hidden gem in Milton Keynes that delivers where it matters most: flavor, authenticity, and warm hospitality. While it’s not a flashy or overly fancy place, the restaurant is clean, well-kept, and welcoming — a place that immediately feels comfortable. The service is excellent — friendly, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. You get the sense that they truly care about their guests, which adds a lot to the overall experience. The standout feature here is, without a doubt, the tandoori. From the succulent lamb chops to the perfectly spiced chicken and fish, the tandoori items are exceptional — possibly some of the best you’ll find in the area. The smoky, chargrilled flavors and tender textures are consistently spot on. The restaurant clearly takes pride in this aspect of the menu, and it shows. Adding to the authentic experience, the restaurant is often full of Indian diners — a good sign of genuine quality. There’s also a large glass window into the open kitchen, giving you a clear view of the tandoor in action, which is a nice touch and adds to the sense of transparency and trust. If you’re looking for top-tier Indian cuisine in a relaxed and friendly environment, Himalayan Indian is well worth a visit — especially for tandoori lovers.
