Companion Accountancy were fortunate enough to be able to visit Miya for our Annual Awards Evening. The team (especially Rosie) were brilliant at communicating with us on the event to confirm allergies, time line of event and provide necessary invoices. The space provided was perfect for what we needed. The food came out fresh and hot, it looked, smelt and tasted delicious. The whole team were blown away by how amazing the food was. The venue, food, staff and atmosphere was perfect. Would highly recommend for a work event or similar.

Excellent, authentic food. At first, it seemed like they forgot we were there, but as soon as we pointed that out, the service became excellent and attentive. Karaoke is fun but loud! Gorgeous decoration too. Would come again.

I went for lunch with my family and we tried the buffet, which was lovely overall. The quality of the food was very good—everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. However, I do think the buffet could benefit from a bit more variety, especially when it comes to sushi and salmon options. I found there was very little available. That said, we still really enjoyed our meal and had a great experience!

I love the food at Miya! I love that you can get a selection of sushi, you can have a main meal, or you can choose a load of small plates or even have them choose for you! My friends and I chose a huge selection of sushi and small plates and were very impressed! Definitely one to visit if you like sushi!

Jack was a fabulous server and ensured we had plenty of water for our table. He was attentive and ready to serve us whenever we needed. The food was phenomenal and staff recommendations were spot on!

Cool seats, great food, and Jack was very patient with us. He made sure my friend’s elderflower was fizzy and my brownie was warm. (Sorry Jack), and thank you so much. It is unclear that there is more of a selection of desserts on the menu as opposed to just ice cream, so that could be more explicit but Jack easily informed us of what was available.

Jack served us today and he was very attentive throughout our visit. Food was delicious and the buffet meant our children could try lots of different things.

I have been to the Miya a few times now and the food is excellent but the last two times I have noticed a decline in the service and a definite decline in the appearance of the restaurant. The furniture is dirty and the carpet on the stairs and hallway is dirty and threadbare. This does not take away the quality of the food but it doesn’t give the same all round experience as it used to and as the price isn’t cheap it should be looked at.

Lovely, friendly staff who were motivated and eager to impress. Nice people with their hearts in the right place. Good food.
