Hands down the best ghee roast I've ever had in the entire of the UK. Even better than Saravana Bhavan for a cheaper price! Staff were also very friendly and restaurant ambience was nice too.

A Culinary Delight – Never Disappoints! This was our fourth visit for Valentine special 14th feb 2025, and once again, this restaurant exceeded expectations! The chicken curry and parotta were absolutely perfect—rich, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a delight, and it’s amazing how they manage to maintain such consistency in taste and quality every single time. The real surprise, however, was the pineapple coconut ice cream. It was a bit of a gamble, but just like everything else on their menu, it turned out to be an incredible choice. A refreshing, tropical twist that ended our meal on the perfect note! The staff is warm, welcoming, and truly elevates the dining experience. The ambience is beautiful, making every visit special. Huge thanks to Vikrant (apologies if I got the spelling wrong!) for the outstanding service. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Indian/Sri Lankan cuisine. If you’re looking for an explosion of flavours that will leave your taste buds tingling, this is the spot! A truly amazing food experience from start to finish. The food was exquisite. The Chicken curry and parotta main was delightful. We have had this 4 times and it’s never disappointed. We tried the Piña colada ice cream for the first time and it was amazing. I would 100% recommend ordering or visiting the restaurant. I know we will be back again!

Such goooooood fooood! Very authentic South Indian cuisine. We had biryani, fish curry and dosa and they were all so yummy.

Our favourite Sri Lankan/South Indian restaurant in miles. The poori is amazing. As is the masala dosa, a form of savoury potato filled crepe with Sri Lankan coconut chilly chutneys. Very kind, attentive, smiley service. The ambience is lovely and soothing.

Seelan, the owner of the restaurant, took the time to greet us personally and check on us during our meal. The food itself was amazing. Personal favourites are the mutton kothu, fried golden prawns, chilli paneer dosa and chicken biryani. We made a personal request to make sure the food was spicy but not in excess, and the level of spice was perfect. I'd 100% recommend Ceylon Dosa to anyone who is looking for an authentic Sri Lankan restaurant with atmosphere, flavour and 10/10 service.

Words can't even begin to express how incredibly amazing the food and service was. I ordered the mutton curry set meal which came with 2 veg sides and rice at an extremely affordable price. I did take a while to decide on my order but the staff were so friendly and patient with me. They also explained what the different dishes were to me since I am quite unfamiliar with sri lankan cuisine. It’s a wonderful family run restaurant and you can see how much the staff care. They are extremely accommodating and it gives a very homely feel. Everything we ordered was absolutely perfect and the drinks were great. It felt as if I was back in India when I tried their food! Went as a group of 15 but we didn’t have to wait too long for the food. They have a lot of great choices and their food is also halal. Superb value for money and their portion sizes are great - thank you so much for making our night and we will certainly be back soon. Cannot recommend this place enough. The egg dosa was so good and coated every single taste bud in my mouth with exquisite flavour! The mango lassi went so well with this dish and I thorougly enjoyed every bite and sip. The staff were lovely and I will absolutely visit Ceylon Dosa again :)

What a little gem! Stumbled on this place by accident. Ordered takeaway to pick up. Atmosphere seemed really nice in the restaurant when I went to pick up my food. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. And the best part is that the food was delicious! It tasted freshly made and really nicely spiced. Almost a homemade feel to it. Over ordered because the prices were deceptively low. Can't say enough good about this place.

Her professional demeanor made me feel at home and welcomed. She is a great representative for the business, ensuring that all of my friends and I were satisfied with our meals. I had ordered the Panner Dosa which was one of the best dosas I had consumed. Would highly recommend to anybody who enjoys Sri Lankan cuisine.

We had an amazing meal in the restaurant, we loved it so much we ordered takeaway the next day! Would definitely recommend. The online delivery service menu does not include some of the amazing things on the menu on the restaurant though so eat in or look at their menu online before ordering. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options, we loved the gobi manchurian 🤤

Go here. South Indian food is amazing and the staff are fantastic, polite and attentive. I've had lots of experience with Indian restaurants but I'd not eaten South Indian food before. Some South Indian and Sri Lankan friends of mine introduced me to it at work in London. I was hooked, and I was over the moon to find this gem of a restaurant in Aylesbury. I can't recommend it enough. Best to dine in to keep the Dosa crispy. Takeaway is available but oddly not everything on the menu is listed on the delivery apps. great food and something different, fantastic service and inexpensive. My favourite place to eat in Aylesbury. Note: lots of meat dishes but a great vegetarian selection too.

We usually order from here 2-3 times a month and have always enjoyed the food. However, our most recent experience was disappointing. The chicken curry portion was noticeably smaller, almost half the usual amount, compared to what we used to get. While the quality of the food is still good, the portion size really needs improvement to match the standards they previously had. We hope they address this issue, as we’ve always loved ordering from here.

What a lovely restaurant. We have been longing for good South Asian food in Aylesbury, dosas in particular, and now we have it. The restaurant was still finding its feet the first time we visited, but today the food was simply outstanding, especially the Lovely crisp dosas.
