The food is absolutely incredible, and the variety of dishes is fantastic. I tried the chicken curry, and it was full of flavour with the perfect spice balance. The staff is incredibly friendly and eager to help with any questions about the menu.

Perfect place to eat when you are craving a masala dosa!! This was delicious, hit the craving spot to the T! Definitely will be coming back to try the other dishes now.

We come here often and are never disappointed. Incredible Dosas, as well as other Sri Lankan dishes, easily my favourite restaurant in Aylesbury. Couldn't recommend the place more, prices are also incredibly reasonable.

Had Ceylon Dosa cater for an event of 56 people and they did an amazing job! I had excellent constant communication with the owner. The food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. The delivery was timely, everything was fresh, the presentation was perfect and our guests loved it. It’s a wonderful family run restaurant and you can see how much the staff care. They are extremely accommodating and it gives a very homely feel. Everything we ordered was absolutely perfect and the drinks were great. It felt as if I was back in India when I tried their food! Went as a group of 15 but we didn’t have to wait too long for the food. They have a lot of great choices and their food is also halal. Superb value for money and their portion sizes are great - thank you so much for making our night and we will certainly be back soon. Cannot recommend this place enough. Words can't even begin to express how incredibly amazing the food and service was. I ordered the mutton curry set meal which came with 2 veg sides and rice at an extremely affordable price. I did take a while to decide on my order but the staff were so friendly and patient with me. They also explained what the different dishes were to me since I am quite unfamiliar with sri lankan cuisine. However, after having dined at Ceylon Dosa, I will be back weekly to try out the whole menu. Aylesbury needed a good restaurant like this.

The egg dosa was so good and coated every single taste bud in my mouth with exquisite flavour! The mango lassi went so well with this dish and I thorougly enjoyed every bite and sip. The staff were lovely and I will absolutely visit Ceylon Dosa again :)

I have been here multiple times, with both friends and family, and we receive a warm welcome from the staff every time. Seelan, the owner of the restaurant, took the time to greet us personally and check on us during our meal. The food itself was amazing. Personal favourites are the mutton kothu, fried golden prawns, chilli paneer dosa and chicken biryani. We made a personal request to make sure the food was spicy but not in excess, and the level of spice was perfect. I'd 100% recommend Ceylon Dosa to anyone who is looking for an authentic Sri Lankan restaurant with atmosphere, flavour and 10/10 service.

I had the pleasure of dining in Ceylon Dosa recently. It was a great decision as it exceeded my expectations immensely. The staff were super friendly; I was welcomed into the restaurant by Ashmina. Her professional demeanor made me feel at home and welcomed. She is a great representative for the business, ensuring that all of my friends and I were satisfied with our meals. I had ordered the Panner Dosa which was one of the best dosas I had consumed. Would highly recommend to anybody who enjoys Sri Lankan cuisine.

What a little gem! Stumbled on this place by accident. Ordered takeaway to pick up. Atmosphere seemed really nice in the restaurant when I went to pick up my food. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. And the best part is that the food was delicious! It tasted freshly made and really nicely spiced. Almost a homemade feel to it. Over ordered because the prices were deceptively low. Can't say enough good about this place.

Every time I visit it is a delight and the food has really improved since the opening of the restaurant and the service of the waiters is aamaizng they all speak with a polite manner and the atmosphere is just amazing with a lot of nice colours and lights

We had an amazing meal in the restaurant, we loved it so much we ordered takeaway the next day! Would definitely recommend. The online delivery service menu does not include some of the amazing things on the menu on the restaurant though so eat in or look at their menu online before ordering. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options, we loved the gobi manchurian 🤤

Go here. South Indian food is amazing and the staff are fantastic, polite and attentive. I've had lots of experience with Indian restaurants but I'd not eaten South Indian food before. Some South Indian and Sri Lankan friends of mine introduced me to it at work in London. I was hooked, and I was over the moon to find this gem of a restaurant in Aylesbury. I can't recommend it enough. Best to dine in to keep the Dosa crispy. Takeaway is available but oddly not everything on the menu is listed on the delivery apps. great food and something different, fantastic service and inexpensive. My favourite place to eat in Aylesbury. Note: lots of meat dishes but a great vegetarian selection too.

We usually order from here 2-3 times a month and have always enjoyed the food. However, our most recent experience was disappointing. The chicken curry portion was noticeably smaller, almost half the usual amount, compared to what we used to get. While the quality of the food is still good, the portion size really needs improvement to match the standards they previously had. We hope they address this issue, as we’ve always loved ordering from here.

What a lovely restaurant. We have been longing for good South Asian food in Aylesbury, dosas in particular, and now we have it. The restaurant was still finding its feet the first time we visited, but today the food was simply outstanding, especially the Lovely crisp dosas.

After getting a takeaway from this restaurant and being impressed by it, we decided to dine in this time, though they do close at 3pm for a short time, we entered around 2.40pm and we were still allowed in to have a meal which I was surprised about, we were greeted and sat down, given enough time to choose our food and advice given if needed. The service provided was great and the food arrived quickly, I had to really give compliments on the staff for staying behind for us and not rushing our meal despite being closed. The prices were very reasonable and the waitress was chatty and very friendly. Highly recommended to visit this restaurant, a 5 star experience.

It’s our go to restaurant now. Every time the children are with their Dad we have the conversation, would it be naughty ? 🤣. Lovely staff and venue and honestly the food is absolutely divine. Such good flavours and they’ll adapt the spice level to suit. It can be quite spicy but they’ll point this out to you and offer led chilli. Anyway that will do because the boys are out and we’re I’m out eat again. 🙌 Kotthu roti idli Manchurian devilled mutton, Brinjal curry and the Dosas are all so tasty. The menu can be a little confusing if you’re not used to the style of fold but it’s absolutely worth persevering, you won’t regret it. We normally spend 20-25 per head and have lunch for next day too. Great value. Enjoy and thanks Ceylon Dosa for such amazing food.

Authentic Sri Lankan taste! We went in on a whim and were pleasantly surprised by what the restaurant had to offer. Taste: Ceylon Dosa serves authentic South Indian/ Sri Lankan food. We loved the fiery hot Rassam Vadai, Idi appam (string hoppers) and Ceylon Dosa. The sambal (dry coconut chutney) was superb. 5/5 Ambience: Relaxed atmosphere with lots of families on a Thursday evening. 5/5. May I suggest including some peppy Indian songs in the playlist to liven up the mood please? Service: Friendly and smiling staff. Service is very good to a fault! They are very accommodating to their customers. We saw them changing the table arrangements to suit larger groups. 5/5 Suggestion- Please don't go overboard in accomodating all requests. Moving tables and chairs midway through the service may disturb other patrons. And do go around to check how the customers feel about the food! It's a customary restaurant etiquette, I think. Price: Decent. Affordable. VFM. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and will gladly visit again! And would be happy to sing your praises amongst our friends in Aylesbury! Best wishes!
