Miss Millies Fried Chicken in Bristol, City of

We ordered two chicken meals one was a bucket, was missing chicken wings , and the other chicken was so dry and tasteless the only thing that was nice was the chips and can of drink, the staff was eating in frout of customers and didn't even wash hands! Might as well just go to KFC ....

Went today, thought I'd treat mum to one but unfortunately when i opened mine when i got home which was 3 thighs large fries only 2 were edible as 1 had no chicken at all on it and the fries were very soggy Not happy won't be returning there anytime soon

The six piece bargain box £9.99 was absolutely crap the chicken was so wet it was like slosh the grease was dripping out of it like water from a sponge . The chips were like razor blades and I paid for a bottle of Tango orange drink and the guy forgot to give it to me ! This is not the miss Millie’s I use to love and enjoy , I will never go in there again I had to throw my food away so NOT A BARGAIN just a waist of money

Always very helpful and friendly , it’s not as bad as these reviews it’s well priced and good value.

ordered a burger meal and a box of chiken with chips for me and the missus. the 4pcs boneless chiken was so small a piece its the perfect size for a kids menu. the burger was the smallest burger as well. kids menu material. chips has been done fine but i had about 15-20 chip total. why save money on chips. that 16.47 with 25% discount from uber. like what the actual f. i know prices are on the rise but 16.47 for 4 tiny chicken strip, 1 tiny burger and two chips (size of one chips in total) is a joke. never going to buy ever again. im still starving.

Went to miss millies in staple Hill last night, nothing like it used to be. Not been for 4 years, staff not very friendly, chicken very greasy, so much so I am ill with bad stomach and diarrhea, My advice, give it a very wide birth!!!!

Well while we were waiting for food there was nearly a punch up due to Staff serving Uber drivers when paying public were being ignored. When we eventually got our order & made it home, the Order was Completely wrong.& if Staff can't tell the difference between Gravy & Beans just goes to ŝhow the type of Staff being employed there.

Went to Miss Millie’s last evening service was so disappoint in fact I don’t think they new what they were doing Chicken tasted disgusting and we were given three bags of chips which were not order will never be going to this outlet again nor recommend it to anyone as all went into the food bin what a waste of money.

Went tonight, after a long absence. Really disappointed, not only with the service but also with the food. Coleslaw put into bag with all the hot food. Beans are very poor quality as well. Won’t be going back anytime soon

I ask for a 4piece of chicken meal deal, when I open the thing at home, surprise!!!! I got a 3piece meal instead, it's not the first time I have some problem here, so will not Back to this place any longer.

Visited here today 03/05/2022. Lovely young lady serving, very welcoming and very efficient. Food served quickly as ordered, very hot and very delicious.

Been to my local branch many times now and tried several different meals. Each time it seems to get spicer and saltier, and this time it was too spicy hot. Whats worse is the salt! They really need to review this if they care about their customers.Just seems to be a waste of money and your money is better spent elsewhere. Great shakes though.

Terrible service. Always something missing from order they can't even remember to put the chicken in the order which is the main part I would have thought!! Never warm enough and portions have got smaller. Poor value for money

Went to the Billericay Millies that opened a few weeks ago at 20.30; no other customers waiting. I had to wait 5 minutes for a young lady to take my order of 2 pieces of chicken and chips and a 3 pieces of chicken and chips with one side order of coleslaw. waited another 5 minutes for my order to be ready... got home and what we got was 5 pieces of wings with 2 miserable portions of semi cooked chips and no coleslaw (charged at £1.20).I wrote to the email address given on their website twice and nobody took the bother to answer me. All I wanted was n explanation and an apology. If this is the way they treat their customers they do not deserve to be in business. Needless to say that we will never go back agin

So today l thought l would give miss millies in staple hill another go,as last time,chips were cold and they forgot fillet strips!! Well.....things havent changed!! Infact,there worse!! Chips were cold! What there was of them!!No mayo on the burger,and no fillet strip!! £7.99!! I was the only one in there,and 4 members of staff!! The best part was the can of pepsi!! Wont be going again!!

Just been in here and spent £8 on a boneless burger box meal. Never ever again. Waited ages for clueless staff to make it then walked the 20 yards home and opened the bag to find the smallest bread roll I have ever seen with the smallest chicken strip ever. It was so bad I walked back over ther with it to complain only to be told that's what that meal includes. I don't expect cordon bleu cooking at nearly midnight but I do xpect food that is at the very least edible. Absolutely disgusting food and service. I would rather go to bed hungry than go back for more more of that dog food.

i purchased a meal deal and i wished now i had driven on bythe chicken was dry, very dry, hard around the edges and the bun dry and crumbly. after a few bites the meal was thrown out for the foxthe staff seem to see me as an inconvenience by interrupting their chit-chatthe manager seemed more interested with the takings than ensuring quality, appetizing food servedat £8.49 i thought the meal was over-priced to begin with but after attempting to eat it, 9p would have been over-priced too!i will never, ever put my foot inside a Miss Millies again if they think they can over charge for the rubbish they call "awesome chicken since 1988" that is only fit for the bin

I have been going here for 30 years and always praise it to everyone and say how much better it is to kfc. I travel from an hour away for one! However my last few visits over the last two years have been terrible!! The place has seriously gone to the dogs. Please somebody sort it out!!! Ome time i can at lunch time they had ran out of chicken!! It's a chicken shop?!?! They all seemed a bit dopey on how they were goimg to get more chicken. Then when they did they mixed everyones orders up. Today 21st march 2021 arrivex aroumd 12pm and the chicked was cold the beans were cold and my bag of chips had literally 10 chips in!!! You used to get loads of chips. It was all stone cold not even warm. Please sort it out before i stop coming forever!! Also no salt bags, napkins or wet cloths with order. The guy serving needs serious training in many ways!

had 2x chicken fillet burgers which were both undercooked. well a few hours later. do not buy from here.

The most salty chicken I,ve ever tasted. Apparently it,s pre mixed according to the manager. Still cannot believe the taste. Gotta drink pints of water after this.

The food is average KFC clone, nothing wrong with it but average at best.The reason for my low review is the slow and terrible customer service. Whilst waiting for my food to be prepared the employees were having a highly sexual conversation filled with innuendos and disgusting gestures. Even the hand sanitiser bottle has a suggestive label on it. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and couldn't wait to get out of the place. I won't be going back. Highly unprofessional staff.

I will not be going back to Yate Miss Millies in a hurry, it's worth the drive to get KFC from Filton.We queued for an hour today, 06/07/20 to try the fare from the newly opened shop.The ordered chicken was incredibly dry and very salty, the deal was missing two of four bags of fries also the side order of coleslaw. The onion rings were spongy and cold.Social distancing made it difficult to check the order before leaving (one in, one out and a long queue).Maybe it's teething problems, but I expected better from a well established franchise, they should have delivered excellence from day one to create the right impression.

Not particularly good or bad but when I got home I discovered that they had only given me 2 portion of chips instead of the 4 that the deal should have contained.

Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve payed for 3 piece of chicken to only get one. Then the wings. Ridiculously Hot. You have spicy wings then you have these unbeatable pieces of inbred chicken. Absolutely shambles would never go there again an would never recommend to anyone!!!!

I'd have to agree with other reviews, it's not the cleanest place and the smell of fried chicken from around and even across the road makes you wonder why there hasn't been complaints.The staff do mess around, but what sort of people do customers expect to work there? It's a low paid job with not great rewards.The chicken is a bit dry, but it's usually busy at lunch + dinner so it's a useful addition to the high street but won't go back there in a hurry!

I have been going to this shop for the first time it opened, sadly the last couple of years it has got dirty and my last meal there today of bun strip family meal was awful, horrible chicken in the bun and the strips just tasted plain and didn’t really have any coating on, Hope they get there act together

Went in on 5.8.19 evening. Staff messing around laughing and joking. As you can see the back of the shop there was food on the floor and just generally messy. Food I got was for some else if for me wouldn’t have bought. Rude staff and dirty shop. Always busy when people come out the pub umm!

My wife just been to miss millies in staple hill bristol. And spent 20 quid on strips chips and chicken in a bun. Well vile chicken in bun was solid and strips were very dry chips were ok. Didn.t return to shop as not worth it when you consider petrol and time. Avoid as very poor and disgusting.

Gravy was burnt and floating in oil , chicken legs blown despite asking for no legs!and it was cold , standards have dropped considerably , shop was a mess ,never again will I use this branch redfield all the way !!

So no help with telling me the best option for what I wanted so after working it out made my order. Drove home looked in bag half my order missing drive back after calling them gave them back the bag with in complete order for them to say sorry you will have to keep the corn on the cob as we don’t have any, so cold corn on the cob finally correct order or bar drink which they forgot I drove home so £20 food £5 fuel never agin next time I’ll drive to kfc works out cheaper and they help

Usually our favourite place to go for takeaway, tonight the chicken had no flavour at all, we knew we were eating something but no taste, the skin and chicken was horrible, we had chicken pieces and chicken in bun, all tasteless, just watery, feel let down as we can’t go back again as this has put us off,

A nice local alternative to KFC. Chicken was well cooked as were the chips. Their gravy is lovely, not the same as KFC, but still great!Staff never seem that hurried and could be a bit more cheery, but somehow the food always come out quickly and it is good value.

Have been coming here for years. Some of the staff are really friendly. Just wish the company would go back to the old style gravy pots, new style not that great.

If you have no interest in animal welfare, want chicken full of chemicals and hormones and want it fried for a low price then this is the place for you

Have always loved Miss Jollies since childhood. Still the same fried chicken meals. Can't complain about it. Staff are friendly and local so they know their regular customers.

worst gravy ive bathed in! was still finding gravy in sorts of places i couldnt reach. I found gravy in my scrotum 10 days after. im going to stick to kfc.

Usual sort of chicken/burger place. Open late and very reasonable nosh after a night on the lash. Staff must have seen it all but take everything in their stride. Nice one! :)

Amazing when I went there....not for the food which is deep fried crap (but tastes so good!), but because the staff are behind reinforced security perspex.....made me laugh and then think..how dreadful to be sealed in with all that Fried Chicken. It's OK though......same as KFC. flavour...but not quite as good.

Had a takeaway with chicken bucket. Shared with my grandsons in local Page Park. Food was fresh and delicious. Had food from other of their shops but this is the best

I've often visited here at the end of a night out or on an evening where I can't be bothered to cook.Staff are always friendly and jubilant, service quick (and it can get pretty busy!). Reasonably priced and pretty darn tasty.Probably my most visited take out in Staple Hill.
