Miraj in Bradford

Ordered for myself and my 2 daughters for tea as ovens broke. Fantastic pizza and girls said it was very tasty as they wanted a garlic margarita with cheesy chips. I ordered a special kebab in a pitta and it was really tasty and good portion on salad also. WOULD DEFINITELY RECCOMEND

There are some very strange and funny reviews on here, so here’s the latest from someone who goes quite regularly. The Miraj is a very popular takeaway, that also has 3-4 tables where you can eat in. But these are basic malamine, close together, in the area where people are waiting for the takeaway. There’s nothing wrong with it, but don’t take your first date there to impress them with a romantic candlelit dinner. The staff are friendly and helpful. The portions sizes are as good as anywhere. There is a mixed menu, so I’ll get a curry and my partner gets a pizza. The food is very tasty. The curries are reasonably priced. The pizzas are not greasy and overall it’s a very good choice for a takeaway. Last night we had a pizza, fries, 2 poppadums, shami kebabs with salad, lamb mirpuri Balti and chappatis. Total £21.50 (ordered in person to takeaway, not through a delivery company). Definitely worth a try.

Best fish masala I've found in Keighley. Chips not so much. Service excellent. Good price. Both ordering and delivery people are friendly and polite 🙂

Always very friendly service from ordering on the phone to the delivery driver. Food is always delicious. Only Indian takeaway I use.

Good food but portion was tiny, had kebab and chips, been going for years, but this time very disappointed, if lived closer i would have taken it back, will be looking else where now

I ordered a large meat feast pizza and paid by card over the phone. This was for my son and grandson's dinner. Unfortunately it was too greasy for them to eat. £13 wasted, as it ended up in the bin.

Just to let you all know.. There's a famous Indian restaurant in Keighley. It wins all the awards. Mirage is a takeaway which is approximately half of price. The food is just as good if not better. The lamb curries in particular are. absolutely terrific. Try it.. you won't be sorry!

travelled from bradford for food from this place as heard great things. what a disappointment. It was atakeout so got the food and went home. we got a donner pizza, donner meat and chips, mixed donner and chips, chicken steak and chips and just a chips. no sauces on any of the donners so they were bone dry, no sauces seperate, and they missed the chips but charged me for it. rang the place and they blamed it on having a new guy which was just a bear lie - why would you have a new guy sending orders out without anyone checking them. avoid it.

Placed large order for family takeaway food was luke warm missed a burger meal off the menu went back for missing order by time got home original order was cold which had to be put in microwave. To say spent over 45 pound very disappointed overall

Good food & service. Lads have a chat & a laugh. Keep up the good work. Just thinking now of donner meat chips 3 chapatti with garlic & chilly sauce mmm

The starter was full of bits of unrecognisable deep fried rubbish plus some kebab meat.....the only thing I recognised amongst the pile of deep fried pulp was a kebab......3/10 for taste but horrible Through lockdown we have been trying a takeaway from a different establishment in our area every Saturday ......a few weeks earlier we tried the Miraj for a pizza and was pleasantly surprised so we thought we would try a curry last week. The curry’s were in large tinfoil containers and there was plenty of it.....but it didn’t even resemble a curry taste....it was just an awful mess with very little meat or taste. The best thing about this mess were the chapattis...... ......the garlic naan hadn’t been near a garlic bull let alone butter or oil.....it was more like a pizza base......it was tasteless So if you want plenty of tasteless mush for £21 get down to the Miraj.......you’ll never see me there again.

Lovely starter, curry, rice and breads. Great value and tasty. Would highly recommend and use again.

So i ordered though just eat app and expect the £1 delivery charge but looking at the receipt im now charged a service charge on top i used to order 3 times a week but i will now being goibg elsewhere

Have been ordering from here over 10 years, food has always been consistent and delicious. The staff are always friendly. Recommend donner and chips/pitta with their fresh salad. Their pizzas are banging and curries have great portions.

I ordered a curry form here for my Sunday night takeaway and it was delicious and flavoursome. I got the madras and it was spicy and very tasty. The chapattis were delicious and the speed of delivery was very quick considering I live nearly 4 miles away from the takeaway. Very nice would fully recommend.

i ordered some food for delivery and it came but it wasn't fresh at all it tasted like rubber the curry was cold liked it had been warmed up!Im very surprised at this as miraj is normally ok but this was shocking.Dont know if you can tell by the pic.

Ordered the special football 20% off deal. Brilliant as usual and nice n hot too, quick service order was on time.

We have used Miraj for a number of years and have never had a bad experience. The food always comes within a reasonable time frame and always tastes good!! Very reasonably priced!!

If were having a takeaway them we usually order from here. Pizzas are gorgeous, deep pan plenty of toppings on and they usually have an offer on 3 for £12 so really good value too. Curry wise, the chicken bhuna is lovely and they do a great peshwari naan. Kids have bugers and these are really tasty too. Good prices and free delivery, what's not to like.

Went through options on menu and chose a lamb romantic josh and a lamb bhuna. According to the menu any dish can be made hotter or milder according to the customers wishes. In fact, there is an option box that you can click on for extra mild. I did this for both curries. When they came they were both way too spicy to eat. The seekh kebab was overdone and rubbery. It seems to me that the people doing the orders just stick to one lot of food and don't actually bother to read any particular requests. Won't be using these again.

This is my second review, the first of which was brilliant - but sadly, this time I have been let down.

In my humble opinion, Miraj eatery and takeaway has been shunned by a previous review, which I can almost guarantee was a rare and isolated negative incident.

Horrific food and even worse customer service! I would recommend downing a pint of rat poison before ordering from this establishment again.
