Firstly i came from glasgow and only had scottish money with me, and for some reason they wouldn’t accept it as a form of payment. Imagine having travelled from Glasgow and they don’t take scottish cash as payment as “it’s not a legal tender”. secondly i asked for extra strawberries on my waffle and they forgot to give that, i had to remind the waiter about it when he brought the food out. lastly we ordered waffles and pancakes, which both were very soggy not at all how they usually should be. Awful place , with lacklustre dessert options.

Visited twice and each time service has been good. Staff have been attentive. Downside is they don't have table service, which isn't great when they're busy - you get given the menu and then asked to go to the counter and order. Think they're missing a trick here and could just do table service as they have enough staff for it (saw at least 5-7 staff behind the till). Food has been okay but I think you can get better elsewhere with better service.

Wouldnt recommend this place!! I always go there for strawberry with melted chocolate but apparently they stop doing that as some changes made in business last week. They only do strawberry with chocolate sauce which tasted awful. Staff was rude too.

Everything was amazing.. food was on time, and the waiting area was only 10misn due to we went on eid, day as it was alot busy then. I got the chocolate chip cookie dough which very succulent and mouth watering🤤🤤! As one dessert came first, they gave us another dessert for free same Choclate chip cookie dough, as they had extra's, and could not want it to spare, we came as a 6 people and a 1 baby, we order as well 2 milkshakes, which very very cold and refreshing, we also order a chocolate fudnet for a person of 1 to share, which the portion size were massive, and could feed peson of 2, they chocolate sauce was amazing, and outstanding, community was lovely, and staff was amazing, would love to come again Xx

Standard is going down and down. Look at the plate edges, and they still decided to serve in this plate. Server doesn't care as well.

Service was good but the waffle and chocolate cake I got did not taste fresh at all, very poorly made and must have been made a while ago Update: I came into address my issue with the store and they looked after me by making the waffle and cake again, this time it came out good Thanks

Marshall (ask for him by name) needs a pay rise, he was funny, helpful and honest. I've always rated their desserts.. Consistently good.

Ordered a variety of desserts for the family, which everyone throughly enjoyed. Extremely pleasant, courteous and friendly service by Marshall. Unfortunately, not able to provide a full five star review as there was no tap water available despite ordering a range of desserts and drinks. Drinking water policy needs to be changed.

Pleasant and clean, friendly staff and the food is also nice.

Went for a take out yesterday, everything was good EXCEPT: Ordered a bottle of water but found out they didn’t include it in the package !! 3 cups of orange juice… had alcohol in it (very against our diet) - I think they should have told us… I just ordered orange juice not a mojito!

Too hot inside, told air con was on but not working when its 25/26 degrees. Very disappointing quality on the waffles and milkshakes, told they cant make a standard milkshake just stupid combinations that dont work and not nice. Premium Royal Waffle not worth the price ridiculously dry and distasteful. Service not great, teenagers running around not knowing whats going on.

I visited twice in the last 2 days. I took my nieces for a treat. The Food looks great and service and atmosphere was decent. BUT 2 days in a row we found 2 thick black hairs in our found one was in my nieces kinder Bueno cookie dough the first the next day was in my apple crumble and custard. The only reason we went back the 2md time is we thought it was a one-off. Pretty sure this must happen often because 2 hairs in 2 days is negligent. Please check your food and icestones please mandate beard nets. I will not return a 3rd time.

I visited for the first time since the new build which looks lovely. They have a handle rail going up the steps but is in the wall so unable to notice. Also walls we're filthy going upstairs. Nearly at the stop I slipped and bruised my leg. A staff member witnessed me fall and did nothing. Family helped me up and got me to a chair to sit down. Then the staff member showed us to a dirty table. Which we cleaned as he wanted us all to be removed from the table once we had seated. I found this experience very unpleasant and do not think I will be back.

Quality service provided by hamza, greeted upon entry, super kind super friendly helped me choose my order, which was on the one the best waffles I've ate. Wouldn't of been as enjoyable of it wasn't for hamza

It was a take out order which we ordered in store. Took around 20 mins or so. Unfortunately, the food was not what I expected for such a well known dessert parlour. The waffle was undercooked and not edible. Lacked chocolate sauce and had very few strawberries. The cookie dough was also undercooked and was stuck to the box. Also had hardly any topping. The cornflake tart tasted as if it's being left out. Only the milk cake was OK but tasted better at the other places and the ice cream was standard. Felt as we had wasted £30 and worst of all the kids were unhappy. The decor and ambience is very inviting but the food needs to be on par.

Ordered from uber eats, got a falooda. Came without a straw. Absolutely ridiculous. So we have to request utensils at the end for a straw? For a straw? i cant fathom it. How does someone get a falooda and drink it without a straw? 1 star.

Absolutely horrible. I went here for chocolate chip cookie dough and was taking out. When I reached home and opened it, It was not the size i was expecting. Small? I like the old one better with bigger cookie doughs absolutely horrible.

Absolutely disgusting ordered a kinder bueno waffle which was fine and a strawberry and banana crepe which was disgusting no bananas and no chocolate sauce. Took over a hour to deliver and when the driver arrived sad in his car for an additional 15 minutes befor taking food to my address. Will be sharing this around all social media platforms as this is not acceptable.

I enjoyed my food, however I went here with my heavily pregnant friend, who asked for a glass of water after we had paid £25 worth of food. The waiter said “no we don’t do tap water” which I find disgusting considering we hadn’t just walked in for some water we were paying customers. You have a tap and you have a glass!

Very rude staff and no customer service skills. It seems they have spent all the money and time on the decoration!!! (maybe invest some training for your staff) Nothing special! Waste of money and time. The cookie dough was burnt and it’s soo small, not worth the price. The waffles were rock hard with melted ice cream.

"Bland" gelato, served plain, not even a sprinkle of nuts or syrup. Pistachio gelato tasted medicinal. Banana was strange. Poor quality of gelatos. Will be going back to Heavenlys - u get more for what u pay for.

I visited around 4 years ago and had a really bad experience, haven’t been since till today, unfortunately nothing has changed since. The service is awful, the young workers at Leeds Road have no communication skills and we didn’t enjoy the desert at all. Definitely won’t be back here again, much better desert places around Bradford.

New place.. New settings.. Bought Faaloda.. Left it half. Warm cheap skimmed milk.. Not much ice ream inside. Not chilled. Disappointed. My son bought cookie dough.. Very small thin portion with tiny scoop of ice cream.. For £8.00..not worth it.

Came here for the Matilda cake with family which was a whopping £8 plus each - was dry and tasted like it was out of date. Don’t know how they can serve people food like this and charge so much - won’t be visiting again.

Taste of kulfi ice-cream is not same as natural ice cream. I take out kinder wrap the chocolate was different. The taste is changed completely not same as old icestone

Very rude customer service the food was very expensive and they didn't give us any spoons requests so many times after 10 minutes we went to the counter to get the spoon but they were very rude and the milkshake was not cold

Rude staff and forget bringing spoon and straws a few times. I told to manager and he was more rude than the staff. I won't suggest...

Nice desserts but feels wrong they don't give tap water. The desserts have a lot of sugar so make you really thirsty. Had to pay extra for bottled water. Grrr

The best thing about this place is how the building looks. The waffles were dead, very dry and unnecessary big as plates covered in dust for ‘presentation’ White choc mocha was decent

So my daughter wanted some chocolate and strawberries in a cup which we have ordered and got so many times before from ice stones and different dessert shops. We on this occasion first time ever got charged £9.99 for chocolate fondue my husband questioned it they said it was a price increase. As in fact they charged wrongly when I rang to question it didn’t really know what to say!!! £5.99 £6.99 still quite expensive but understandable. Absolutely rip off and disgusting customer service.

Just visited here with my two nephews and it’s definitely not as good as it used to be. The two young girls behind the counter clearly didn’t want to be there they didn’t have an ounce of customer service between them. The boys got ice cream, one popping candy which was just the same as a strawberry and the other bubblegum which he liked. Paid extra for chocolate stars of which they got 5 each and sprinkles not many of them either. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding and custard. It was like eating a brick and the custard was disgusting. Definitely won’t be returning and don’t recommend it either.

I went with my family and order desi chai, sundai and cookie dough but when we get our servings it's quite a small serving as compared to the price and tea cup and saucer both are fully in shower with tea and all sugar sachets are Dippin in there. Staff must need some training that how to serve a tea and also the sundai was full of cream very limited ice cream in there.

Absolut discusting I had the the lemon and lime sorbet its full of sugar lumpy left horrible test in my mouth after I had lovley meal in Akbar never again ...the pistachios ice cream got honey comp test it was unpleasant at all as I said never ...if I like your ice cream buy from supermarket it's not worth the money .

I’ve been going to Icestone Gelato ever since it opened in Bradford as a treat for my child’s academic achievements and had always been pleased with the service, food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, since they’ve moved across the other side of Leeds Road, the standards have dropped immensely in every way you can think of. Their prices have raised, portions are smaller and the professionalism, non existent! I’d complained but the Blonde haired gent was unbelievably arrogant and just shrugged his shoulders and muttered under his breath! I’m a supporter of local businesses but with attitude like that, no thank you! This was the second time I’d gone in since the move and it most certainly is the last. Will have to find another venue to celebrate with my child (she’s a bright kid so it’s often) …oh and there’s NOTHING Gelato about their ice cream! It was cheap crystallised c**p! Certainly not worth £15.58! We as the customers are NOT financing your relocation!

Ordered with my family and was told it will take 30 mins at most which I was happy to accept, but it tool over 50 mins we were the last ones to leave, saw other tables order come before ours, the worst part was my daughter ordered 1 scoop of ice cream and fell asleep waiting for it, she obviously couldn't eat when it came over at midnight, yet they didn't offer to refund that specific item, not happy, only given the 1 stars for decor , in regards to the service and food, absolutely rubbish.

Icestone Gelato on Leeds Road used to be my favourite desert place. The quality of the food was excellent and a lot of love and care obviously went into it. But since they moved across the road, it seems all style over substance. Yes the seating and entrance at the old place needed a refurb, whilst the new place is sparkly, but who needs a new 40 page menu? That menu is less practical than the old one, with no more on it than before. In fact, the best item on the menu, the ISG Creation, has disappeared. The old carpark was tight, but now carparking is on the road amongst the building sites at the back. Ultimately, the food isn't as good. It's OK. Average. Passable. The chocolate bar milkshakes are good. But the food used to be great. The focus has moved to a glitzy building and menu photography instead of the great food it had a reputation for. I don't know how they will compete with cheaper rivals when their product is no better than them. 5 stars a few months ago, 3 stars now.

Disgusting desserts, taste of corruption

There was a blonde waitress at their new branch on leeds road who was extremely nice and helpful and she gave great customer service and was happy to help when we were unhappy with the taste of the white mocha and she added extra white mocha.

Waffles tasted like toaster waffles from a supermarket , soggy as anything and barely cooked , icecream was cheap quality and overly sweet, overall the only thing about nice was the coke and drinks . Wpuld rather go to heavenlys or haute dolci who have consistently good food

We came here to bring my son for a birthday treat. He likes sundaes and this is what I got . 2 scoops of ice cream and a chocolate wafer roll and charged £7.50. Flat Desi chai and rubbish milkshakes . Definitely never coming back again

Very poor service and dining experience since they have moved to the new building. It took an hour for them to bring desserts out. Half of the order was missing, told several of their staff that things are missing yet they still failed to bring out the correct items. The short asian waiter with the beard was very aggressive and rude when speaking to us!! Asked to speak to a manager and was told to go sit down and wait like I was in school or something!!! Spoke to another tall asian man and he exclaimed, your order has been sorted!!! We told him things are missing and he turned his back to us! In the end the manager came out and refunded us for the missing items... Poor service all around - Not good icestone- Happy to take our money but not provide us with good service! You need to train your staff to manage orders better as well as provide better customer service!! If I could give you 0 stars I would, but unfortunetely I cant, so 1 it is!! ! Never coming to this place again!

Wonderful desserts at a good price

Great Horton one is the worstone ever. Very argumentative manager who has absolutely no customer services manners. Tried reporting him to their management but none of their numbers answered. We just left without ordering.

Food is great but service is poor. The staff need to speak more clear. Nevertheless, the time they give was well off limits. I had to wait double the time they gave!

We ordered your cookie dough .. Nutella an strawberry cookie dough and we ordered brownies cookie dough flavour but got brownies cookie dough .. realised it wen we got home … still my eldest was like it’s fine I’ll have it . But it was .. rock hard ! Could only eat the middle part as that was soft .. the rest of 50% was rock hard .. alsolute disgraceful .. use to come a lot b4 but will not be coming again !!
