IceStone Gelato in Bradford

Absolutely horrible. I went here for chocolate chip cookie dough and was taking out. When I reached home and opened it, It was not the size i was expecting. Small? I like the old one better with bigger cookie doughs absolutely horrible.

Absolutely disgusting ordered a kinder bueno waffle which was fine and a strawberry and banana crepe which was disgusting no bananas and no chocolate sauce. Took over a hour to deliver and when the driver arrived sad in his car for an additional 15 minutes befor taking food to my address. Will be sharing this around all social media platforms as this is not acceptable.

I enjoyed my food, however I went here with my heavily pregnant friend, who asked for a glass of water after we had paid £25 worth of food. The waiter said “no we don’t do tap water” which I find disgusting considering we hadn’t just walked in for some water we were paying customers. You have a tap and you have a glass!

Very rude staff and no customer service skills. It seems they have spent all the money and time on the decoration!!! (maybe invest some training for your staff) Nothing special! Waste of money and time. The cookie dough was burnt and it’s soo small, not worth the price. The waffles were rock hard with melted ice cream.

"Bland" gelato, served plain, not even a sprinkle of nuts or syrup. Pistachio gelato tasted medicinal. Banana was strange. Poor quality of gelatos. Will be going back to Heavenlys - u get more for what u pay for.

I went with my mate who lives in sunderland and i didnt hesitate to bring him here, he had his milkshake and didn't stop raving about it thank you to the lovely lady who made the milkshake for my mate. Thank you 100% recommend

Disappointed with the amount of chocolate at strawberry on the waffle and when called to complain the manager started arguing with me that he was the one that completed the order no apology no compensation

I visited around 4 years ago and had a really bad experience, haven’t been since till today, unfortunately nothing has changed since. The service is awful, the young workers at Leeds Road have no communication skills and we didn’t enjoy the desert at all. Definitely won’t be back here again, much better desert places around Bradford.

New place.. New settings.. Bought Faaloda.. Left it half. Warm cheap skimmed milk.. Not much ice ream inside. Not chilled. Disappointed. My son bought cookie dough.. Very small thin portion with tiny scoop of ice cream.. For £8.00..not worth it.

Came here for the Matilda cake with family which was a whopping £8 plus each - was dry and tasted like it was out of date. Don’t know how they can serve people food like this and charge so much - won’t be visiting again.

Taste of kulfi ice-cream is not same as natural ice cream. I take out kinder wrap the chocolate was different. The taste is changed completely not same as old icestone

Very rude customer service the food was very expensive and they didn't give us any spoons requests so many times after 10 minutes we went to the counter to get the spoon but they were very rude and the milkshake was not cold

Rude staff and forget bringing spoon and straws a few times. I told to manager and he was more rude than the staff. I won't suggest...

Nice desserts but feels wrong they don't give tap water. The desserts have a lot of sugar so make you really thirsty. Had to pay extra for bottled water. Grrr

Why they have an upstairs is pointless if u can’t use it. Came in with my family and got told to wait a while before I can have a seat whilst upstairs was empty. Clearly the management didn’t care and was skimping on the customer service because I went elsewhere

The best thing about this place is how the building looks. The waffles were dead, very dry and unnecessary big as plates covered in dust for ‘presentation’ White choc mocha was decent

So my daughter wanted some chocolate and strawberries in a cup which we have ordered and got so many times before from ice stones and different dessert shops. We on this occasion first time ever got charged £9.99 for chocolate fondue my husband questioned it they said it was a price increase. As in fact they charged wrongly when I rang to question it didn’t really know what to say!!! £5.99 £6.99 still quite expensive but understandable. Absolutely rip off and disgusting customer service.

Just visited here with my two nephews and it’s definitely not as good as it used to be. The two young girls behind the counter clearly didn’t want to be there they didn’t have an ounce of customer service between them. The boys got ice cream, one popping candy which was just the same as a strawberry and the other bubblegum which he liked. Paid extra for chocolate stars of which they got 5 each and sprinkles not many of them either. I ordered the sticky toffee pudding and custard. It was like eating a brick and the custard was disgusting. Definitely won’t be returning and don’t recommend it either.

I went with my family and order desi chai, sundai and cookie dough but when we get our servings it's quite a small serving as compared to the price and tea cup and saucer both are fully in shower with tea and all sugar sachets are Dippin in there. Staff must need some training that how to serve a tea and also the sundai was full of cream very limited ice cream in there.

Absolut discusting I had the the lemon and lime sorbet its full of sugar lumpy left horrible test in my mouth after I had lovley meal in Akbar never again ...the pistachios ice cream got honey comp test it was unpleasant at all as I said never ...if I like your ice cream buy from supermarket it's not worth the money .

I’ve been going to Icestone Gelato ever since it opened in Bradford as a treat for my child’s academic achievements and had always been pleased with the service, food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, since they’ve moved across the other side of Leeds Road, the standards have dropped immensely in every way you can think of. Their prices have raised, portions are smaller and the professionalism, non existent! I’d complained but the Blonde haired gent was unbelievably arrogant and just shrugged his shoulders and muttered under his breath! I’m a supporter of local businesses but with attitude like that, no thank you! This was the second time I’d gone in since the move and it most certainly is the last. Will have to find another venue to celebrate with my child (she’s a bright kid so it’s often) …oh and there’s NOTHING Gelato about their ice cream! It was cheap crystallised c**p! Certainly not worth £15.58! We as the customers are NOT financing your relocation!

Ordered with my family and was told it will take 30 mins at most which I was happy to accept, but it tool over 50 mins we were the last ones to leave, saw other tables order come before ours, the worst part was my daughter ordered 1 scoop of ice cream and fell asleep waiting for it, she obviously couldn't eat when it came over at midnight, yet they didn't offer to refund that specific item, not happy, only given the 1 stars for decor , in regards to the service and food, absolutely rubbish.

Horrible service unfriendly staff not welcoming at all, waiting over 30 minutes after ordering came cold, one dessert didn’t turn up had to refund because it took soo long.

Icestone Gelato on Leeds Road used to be my favourite desert place. The quality of the food was excellent and a lot of love and care obviously went into it. But since they moved across the road, it seems all style over substance. Yes the seating and entrance at the old place needed a refurb, whilst the new place is sparkly, but who needs a new 40 page menu? That menu is less practical than the old one, with no more on it than before. In fact, the best item on the menu, the ISG Creation, has disappeared. The old carpark was tight, but now carparking is on the road amongst the building sites at the back. Ultimately, the food isn't as good. It's OK. Average. Passable. The chocolate bar milkshakes are good. But the food used to be great. The focus has moved to a glitzy building and menu photography instead of the great food it had a reputation for. I don't know how they will compete with cheaper rivals when their product is no better than them. 5 stars a few months ago, 3 stars now.

Disgusting desserts, taste of corruption

There was a blonde waitress at their new branch on leeds road who was extremely nice and helpful and she gave great customer service and was happy to help when we were unhappy with the taste of the white mocha and she added extra white mocha.

Waffles tasted like toaster waffles from a supermarket , soggy as anything and barely cooked , icecream was cheap quality and overly sweet, overall the only thing about nice was the coke and drinks . Wpuld rather go to heavenlys or haute dolci who have consistently good food

We came here to bring my son for a birthday treat. He likes sundaes and this is what I got . 2 scoops of ice cream and a chocolate wafer roll and charged £7.50. Flat Desi chai and rubbish milkshakes . Definitely never coming back again

Very poor service and dining experience since they have moved to the new building. It took an hour for them to bring desserts out. Half of the order was missing, told several of their staff that things are missing yet they still failed to bring out the correct items. The short asian waiter with the beard was very aggressive and rude when speaking to us!! Asked to speak to a manager and was told to go sit down and wait like I was in school or something!!! Spoke to another tall asian man and he exclaimed, your order has been sorted!!! We told him things are missing and he turned his back to us! In the end the manager came out and refunded us for the missing items... Poor service all around - Not good icestone- Happy to take our money but not provide us with good service! You need to train your staff to manage orders better as well as provide better customer service!! If I could give you 0 stars I would, but unfortunetely I cant, so 1 it is!! ! Never coming to this place again!

Great Horton one is the worstone ever. Very argumentative manager who has absolutely no customer services manners. Tried reporting him to their management but none of their numbers answered. We just left without ordering.

Food is great but service is poor. The staff need to speak more clear. Nevertheless, the time they give was well off limits. I had to wait double the time they gave!

Nutella an strawberry cookie dough and we ordered brownies cookie dough flavour but got brownies cookie dough .. realised it wen we got home … still my eldest was like it’s fine I’ll have it . But it was .. rock hard ! Could only eat the middle part as that was soft .. the rest of 50% was rock hard .. alsolute disgraceful .. use to come a lot b4 but will not be coming again !!

went to the place at around 8:30pm about 4 hours before closing time and was denied eat in service and was told only ice cream was available for take out. seating area wasn't half full and had plenty of other seating. gave no reason what so ever and was turned away. woman was rude and gobby

It's been while I visited icestone gelato. I am disappointed as before. I ordered biscofe milk cake. Got normal milk cake when I told lovely lady this is not what I ordered she took it back and bought same cake back just more biscofe paste been spread on my cake. No wonder only 2 table was occupied.

Last night we went and the guy that seated us doesn’t know the meaning of customer service . We had a couple before us . He was giving them attitude and then comes to us asking how many and it’s the way he says it like we’re inconvenience to him. When we went to order his face and expession was like he’d rather be somewhere else. Like smile s little . I ordered and he doesn’t bring the strawberries and when I asked he started raising his voice saying it’s extra 50p cos you didn’t ask for it at the start. When I clearly did and when I said this he huffed and said I didn’t hear it and then just stares at my face. What’s with the attitude . Just accept your fault and let’s move on why are you arguing with me . I just said forget it why let him ruin my night . The couple on the next table also said he’s had an issue with his attitude with them as well.Then he disappeared in to back and sent another guy out with the strawberries and then we also hadn’t received our milk for the tea and we asked this new server and with any issues or difficulties he went and brought it. Ice stone you seriously need to give training to your staff on how to behaviour . I don’t normally come to ice stones but after this I won’t be coming again to the Leeds road place

Found him quite aggressive. He refused to listen and doubled my order (doubling the charge). Then when I was served they bought extra food. I explained to the lady I hope I am not charged extra for this and she said I will check this for you. The most useless staff did not come back to tell me of this. I had to get up and check with him. He then said was this your order and refunded me for the extra. ABSOLUTELY NEVER GOING BACK.

Friendly staff, lovely desserts, my daughter and I kept it retro ordering the apple crumble and profiteroles! They weren't serving mocktails on our visit 🤔overall would recommend so you can try all on that's on the menu 😋

Ordered a brownie with gelato and Mrs had a waffle with brownie and gelato. Both were very tasty and good sized portions. In a sugar coma now. Would definitely go again if wanting something sweet. Can takeaway or dine in. We chose to dine in and its nice inside plenty of space. Also parked for free in the car park which can get a little bit busy. All in all a great dessert place.

We orderd take out it wasn't brilliant ice cream felt like a cheap brand we asked for the warm chocolate cake they didn't warm up the other cake we ask them to white chocolate on it and they never did i don't think i will go there again

A wonderful selection of mouthwatering sweetness! A vibrant and full of life atmosphere with staff displaying a 'bubbly' personality. My child is now their customer for life! Tried several items from the menu and are impeccable in taste and flavouring. I had to wait a little longer for my selections to arrive but was a full house and staff were doing their level best to keep all customers satisfied. Well done to the team in their efforts in keeping customers happy whilst in a busy environment 👍.

I been there 10:58 pm 16.08.21 staff rejected my order as the are going to close in next one hour i ask for manger on shift she reply to me we stop taking order 10.45 fair enough. But i go on uber eat place an order my order ready in 15 mint and i pick up 11.20 Pm what is point to keep shop door open and keep telling customers we are not taking orders? And why you guys taking orders on uber eat if you are going to close soon dose it make sense you reject customers on door and paying extra to uber or deliveroo? Well today is my last vist to this shop extremely disappointed also very rude staff. They dont know what they are doing

Service is a little slow, cookie dough overcooked but still a decent enough atmosphere. Oh, and the tango blast machine didn't work either - which was a disappointment indeed.

Visited Ice stone for desserts after a nice meal out with family. Served by lovely staff members. The milkshakes and waffles were very tasty. Definitely recommend this place for desserts!
