We had a lovely Sunday lunch and pudding which tasted just like home cooking, Lovely Obliging Staff 👍had a few meals here already and always been tasty and highly satisfied.

Brilliant service with a smile. Cosy place, friendly people and a great Sunday Roast! Perfect!

This was the only pub on a Sunday afternoon which didn't turn us away. They gave us a table, served a great selection of draught beers/ciders. Menu was varied. We ordered Sunday roast and it was served within 15 mins. The waitresses were awesome. Great service, polite and professional. Highly recommended.

We visited for a birthday lunch on a Saturday in January and had a great experience. The menu offered a nice variety of choices. The pulled pork sandwich was packed with tender, flavorful meat and came with a side salad. The fish and chips were among the best we've ever had – the batter was light, crispy, and fresh, while the fish was thick, flaky, and delicious. The chips were chunky, crispy, and served piping hot. Overall, excellent food, attentive service, and a lovely atmosphere made for a memorable meal.

5 stars all round...1st time visiting since the refurb, wow, what a difference and food was lovely. Can recommend the rump steak and the sea bass👍

Excellent food,went at busy time but service was still very good. The atmosphere was a little loud but good.

We enjoyed a Christmas meal on Saturday 21st December. The food was really good and great value. The staff were friendly and efficient. It was a party night and there was live entertainment and the atmosphere was great. Thanks to the staff for a lovely evening.

One of my locals, ticks loads of boxes since the refurb and reopening, dog and family friendly, sports showing and nice friendly staff - particularly Lisa and Abby who are stars behind the bar. Good looking food offering although I haven't tried the food yet. A great addition to the area, which was desperately needed. Thanks folks 😘

Had a beautiful piece of belly pork. Best I've had for a long time. Well worth a visit. The service was also very good. Plus, it's dog friendly.

I was greeted by a young girl named Abbey very nice girl who was friendly and chatty.On this cold winters night, I went to the miners arms, never been in before but it's hasn't long been done up, I opted for fish and chips mushy peas, large chunky chips which was hot the fish was hanging off the plate, it was all beautifully cooked, I know it was cold out side the heating was on but I still had to leave my coat on.but hopefully Abbey said they was going to sort heating out .

Good food, good atmosphere, friendly, attentive services, and they've done an excellent job with the refurb. All of my party were delighted with the standard of food, and it's great to have an accessible facility once again on the doorstep.

Brilliant local family pub with a fantastic feel to the place. I had the pork belly which melted in my mouth, and my partner had the cheeseburger which was also delicious! Will definitely be returning soon.

They’ve done a great job with the interior (100% improvement on how it was before) pity about the poor bar service, I was stood waiting to be served for about 5 minutes, no one was behind the bar, someone appeared to serve and although they could see I was already standing there a family came in and she went straight to them and asked them what they wanted. Now I know I should have spoken up, but to be honest I was caught unawares and a bit shocked at being completely ignored after having been waiting for ages at a bar with no staff.

Took a long time to get food,not enough staff on server or bar area especially on the opening night ,definitely put me off going again

Dropped in on Tuesday afternoon when chance sent the missus home from work...recently refurbished and looks great! Ordered two burgers, the hubters chicken and black and blue. Both were really tasty and very filling with crisp fries and battered onion rings on the side. Already happy with everything about the visit, a little woop escaped when the bill arrived and it was two 4 one burger day!!!

Sunday lunch was very over priced. An average meal with no roast potatoes. Tables crammed in and too small, and the large tv’s playing football completely spoil it. Lacks atmosphere. There are much better places locally for a lot less money. I was really hopeing for much better.

Absolutely shocking. Went for Sunday Roast. Meat was tough, never seen a yourkshire pudding like that, it was as flat as a pancake tough and chewy. potatoes were hard as was the cauliflower cheese only next to no cheese sauce at all. Waited well over an hour. There was 6 of us. We had to sit on two separate tables. Took ages to be served a drink. When eventually our food turned up 5 of us got our meal. One meal less, when it did turn up after a while it looked horrendous. Wasn’t fit for eating so that was sent back. The Meal was so bad 5 of us who had the Sunday dinner couldn’t eat it and refused to pay for it. The one fish and chips that was ordered was fine. So just paid for that and our drinks. Definitely won’t be going back

Great food, great staff we will be back

First visit tonight since the reopening and definitely won't be our last. Weve visited as a family of 5. The food was perfect, clean plates all rough. Great atmosphere and the staff were fab, especially Molly and Lisa. It was really nice to chat to the landlord too. So pleased to see a good family pub in the area!

Had Sunday roast /beef very tough/yorkshires a joke /roast potatoes hard £18.50 for this and had cauliflower cheese which you had to pay £ 3.50 extra Portions small Won’t be going again

Food wasn’t the best very bland and small portions for the price. No baby change facilities when asked just got told there coming Monday had to go change my daughter in my car

First time visitor to the Miners. We'd walked from Dronfield via the Travs. It's clearly a popular pub with arrows, pool, TV and a top selection of béer. We'll be back and pushing for a seat as it was that popular.

Tuvimos una deliciosa cena caliente los domingos, opciones de pollo, cerdo, jamón y rosbif con muchas verduras. Aparte de la carne, era autoservicio y todo se reemplazó tan pronto como estaba medio vacío. Solo me he mudado de manera irreversible a la zona que lo recomendaría a familiares y amigos cuando me visiten.

Apareció esta noche para tomar un refrigerio después de comer aquí muchas veces y no tener una mala. Es tan triste decir que incluso teniendo en cuenta que el calor en la cocina es extremo, especialmente en un día caluroso, me decepcionó profundamente. Obviamente, el pan de mi sándwich se había descongelado y estaba duro en algunos lugares, el relleno era de mala calidad y las patatas fritas estaban hechas y eran horribles. Casi tomó una hora y media para entregar también. Muy pobre y muy triste.

The staff and the grounds are lovely. It's a little old fashioned in that you can't buy a drink by card, which isn't always convenient. Typical pub lunch menu (which you can use card for).

Esta fue nuestra primera visita a Miner's Arms para el almuerzo del domingo. El "carvery" fue 8. 60 para pavo, jamón, ternera o cerdo o 9. 60 por cordero. La comida era preciosa pero. . . solo se le permitió una opción de carne, lo cual pensamos que era realmente extraño y solo había una pequeña selección de verduras (sueco, zanahorias y repollo). Para nosotros esto fue más como una cena asada y no un asado. Dicho esto, realmente disfrutamos de la comida y el pub estaba tranquilo y no demasiado ocupado. Si le hubieran dado una selección de carnes y más opciones de verduras, le habría dado 5 estrellas, pero en general fue muy sabrosa y con una buena relación calidad-precio.

Nice pub. Serves good food and a good pint of beer. Sat outside in the sunshine and felt they could improve the garden area. The garden is a really good space but a bit tired. We enjoyed our visit to the Miners a d would recommend it.

Went with my Wife as I Used to Live At Dronfield Woodhouse. Has a Boy. I New The Old Miners. But The Staff Are Unhelpful. The Chef Was Surly Very Abrupt. The Food was Barely Warm. They have heat Lamps. When they Need Bain Marie Pans. It’s Also in need of a Refurbishment Very Tacky and Tatty.

Visitamos anoche y nos alimentaron a ocho de nosotros. Opté por el pastel de los pescadores, mientras que otros tenían pastel de carne, pollo ticka y vegeburger por nombrar algunos platos. La comida fue muy agradable. Fue sin pretensiones comida básica de pub bien. El personal fue amable. El jardín de pub era bueno para sentarse ya que teníamos un niño en nuestro grupo que podía correr y jugar. El jardín podría arreglarse con un poco de abeto y la nevera no tenía agua mineral, pero estos son puntos menores. En general, es un buen lugar para visitar y comer y no romperá el banco. ¡Gracias al personal y a los propietarios por organizar una buena noche de fiesta!

I visited this place as part of the 3 Dronfield Valleys beer festival. Lovely big old place. Good selection of real ales. They have free wifi.

Brilliant pub with a fantastic atmosphere and even better food. Come here all the time now as I can’t think of anywhere I would go instead. Definitely would recommend this pub to anyone.

Very unwelcoming, we felt we'd walked into a private club. The small group around the bar were obviously regulars and had formed a little cliche but as newcomers we didn't feel like we'd ever go back. The staff weren't friendly and everything seemed too much trouble unless you were in the bar group who were well catered for

No he estado aquí por varios años, pero estoy planeando volver a visitarlo pronto. El bistec y el pastel de Guinness eran extremadamente buenos con la cantidad justa de excelentes chips. Los bistecs estaban bien hechos según lo solicitado pero aún húmedo y tierno. Postres encantadores con muchas natillas. El personal es muy agradable, servicial y amable. Gran ambiente y precios razonables. El único inconveniente fue la comida podría haber sido un poco más caliente, pero podemos disculpar que ya que la experiencia fue maravillosa. Definitivamente puedo recomendar este lugar.

Mi amigo y yo llamamos para almorzar, ya que queríamos probar en algún lugar donde no habíamos comido antes. El lugar estaba tranquilo, así que nuestra comida llegó rápidamente. Mi pastel de pescado era absolutamente delicioso, con 3 tipos de pescado y una salsa cremosa y cubierto con puré suave que estaba bien dorado. Estaba acompañado de chips gruesos y guisantes de jardín. Mi amigo eligió el pescado y las patatas fritas que le encantaron, diciendo que la mezcla era ligera y crujiente. Ella tenía guisantes blandos con su comida. Cada comida cuesta 5. 95. ¡Qué ganga! El personal fue amable y acogedor. Los mineros definitivamente estarán en la parte superior de nuestra lista de restaurantes para el almuerzo.

Popped in for a few drinks and to try the food. Good steak and ale pie. Portions good. Decent beer. Dog friendly (bar cat even tolerant!). Condiments even included Hendersons. Am happy to see genuine pubs still exist. Will revisit.

Hemos estado muchas veces a lo largo de los años en este Pub, en general lo encontramos un pub amistoso y relajado. Es cierto que los horarios de almuerzo tienen un cliente más viejo, pero eso significa que es tranquilo, lo que nos gusta, y está en el borde del campo para caminar, etc.La comida es de buena a mediana, dependiendo de lo que elijas. El Carvery es bueno.Nuestra única queja es que solía tener un área encantadora para niños con paseo, columpio, etc.: y esto se ha agotado por completo, es una pena porque tener un juego para niños es una ventaja en lo que a nosotros respecta.Entonces, en general, se requiere una buena actualización, sin embargo, eso no nos impedirá volver a comer allí.
