Karen's Kitchen in Sheffield

Got staff that think they can be clever and mouthy! Asked a lady not to touch my young child, it’s middle of winter RSV etc going about my child dosnt need to be touched by strangers. So blondie behind the counter took it upon herself to try and be clever making snide comments about the lady ha in something wrong with her??? Now not for 1 single second did I ever ask this customer to not touch my child because she may be disabled but because i know the effects of what RSV could do to my child, I’ve a disabled daughter myself so to try and act like I was in the wrong for telling someone not to touch my child because they had a disability, that is wrong on your behalf for judging someone with a disability and jumping to the conclusion that I didn’t want them touching my child because they are disabled? What is this world coming to? Your staff wanna try tell me that anyone can touch my child? Then point out someone is disabled so i should allow it because they don’t realise? Never been! Sort ya staff out

Fuimos a desayunar no nos decepcionó en absoluto, un poco de espera para ser servido, pero eso se debió a la duración de la cola, ya que estaba muy ocupado pidió 2 desayunos extra grandes que costaron £ 6. 00 cada uno y esto incluía una bebida, así como la ganga.

Lovely staff at counter, who served my my steak pie. The filling was tasty and the pastry was flaky. Not a bad price either, but would have liked more filling.

Cheap enough. However, Sandwich (Tuna) had jam all on the side and whilst it was placed on the counter waiting for a tray for that and my drinks a dirty apron was lent on it by another lady cleaning. I went and pointed out the jam and was met with rudeness, so got a refund. Went next door. Much better! I can understand how this place gets it name!!!

Don't let the Karen word thinks that the service is bad and awful, in fact the Karens who runs this stall might win an award as the warmest seller in S1. Speaking about the Food it is always five star all day every day especially the Full English.

Just been refused Salt And Pepper by a spotty chavy teenager that works there 😂. Rude attitude and the customer service was terrible.

Great atmosphere, you have to be ready for the panto style rudeness, nothing we haven’t heard before and there good at delivering it. Food a little expensive but I suppose your also paying for the name and experience. Great time had by all.

We went for my daughters birthday, food was lovely, staff were funny, rude and got everyone involved. I do think they could be a little more brutal sometimes but a fab experience. They all need to be more like fizzy she looked like a Karen and had the best banter. Don’t take children that are younger though. Thanks for a good night

Had the best time ever, wasn’t sure what to expect but I wasn’t disappointed all the Karen’s were brilliant and ensured we felt really uncomfortable, can’t wait to go back,

Food was ok bit expensive though but expected a certain amount of banter started out ok but then quickly went down hill as they can give it but can’t take it didn’t live up to the hype was disappointed went there for my birthday was sorely disappointed came away feeling like we had wasted an evening

Really great home cooked food the chips are amazing

My wife & I always go to Karen's Kitchen when in the market.I have tried the others but in my opinion Karen's is by far the best Staff are friendly and helpful

Nice sandwiches, but could have used sauce. Possibly not available as self serve due to current restrictions, though? Would visit again.

Buena relación calidad-precio, * chips reales klaxon *, me recordó a uno de los mejores cafés de los años 80 que no era malo después de llegar de la lluvia fuerte,

He desayunado aquí. Desayuno decente de tamaño con una bebida por menos de 3 creo. Además, los sarnies de cerdo asado son bastante buenos y vienen con tatties tostados. :) Cafetería de mercado típica - hace el trabajo.

The pie from here is amazing and impossibly cheap! You wouldn't think it would be possible to make such good quality food for such great prices. Highly recommended, best cafe in the market by far.

been here for our lunch,the food is home cooked and always hot,and good quality food used ,staff are very friendly and nice,nothing is to much trouble for them

Just beware that today having coffee from here that I scalded my mouth by taking a sip of coffee that my mouth is blistering.....not hot but scalding .and still scalding after requesting some cold water in it..please sort some temps out could have been an elderly or child drinking that...

We always enjoy the food & there is something for everyone. Reasonable prices. Always regular customers in attendance when we visit. That speaks for itself.

Esta es una pequeña cafetería encantadora en el nuevo mercado brezo. Venden casa tradicional comidas cocinadas con ingredientes de procedencia local frescos a precios muy baratos. Un trozo de carne y tarta de riñón con patatas, guisantes y salsa sólo £3.50 ! Las patatas fritas son alucinantes, fresco y denso cut, ninguno de esta frozen horno cocinado cosas que conseguir en otro lugar.Con previo aviso que le hará un pastel en su propio plato, así que puede impresionar a la familia con su tarta recién cocinados ;) y todas las comidas pueden ser 'llevaron'. Mucha variedad, especialmente para estudiantes que se están perdiendo algo 'casa típica cocina' por precios razonables!
