Milos in Daventry

I frequent this charming cafe from time to time and always find the food and service outstanding. The staff are very efficient and friendly. I had a Tuna Ciabatta with chilli jam and it was yummy. My friend had a salad. The bread is very light and tastes great, and the coffee was good. I’m looking forward to my next trip to Milo’s as we always enjoy it.

Milo’s have a wonderful selection of freshly made cakes, nearly everything I’ve tried was delicious. I had white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, very decedent, loved it, my boyfriend had a brownie that was nice. Big disappointment that they don’t accept cash payments, I don’t want to pay card for a piece of cake, why turn away legal tender?

Used toilet before eating.... Chose not to bother... Toilet disgusting, sanitary bin overflowing, no toilet paper... Staff disinterested!!

Five star Bakewell cheesecake. Please make it all the time. I have to write more or TripAdvisor won't accept it :0) That should do it.

Friendly staff and ok place, drinks were great..went for full English and not overly impressed Beans cold Bacon cold Water on plate from egg Sour dough a bit hard (could do with 2 slices to be fair) Apart from that ok .. bit disappointed but on-the whole tasty and edible.. wouldn’t visit again due to above and feel better options for the cost. I’m not saying don’t go just personally opinion that the breakfast could be better based on experience

Gf did quick google search and we found this lovely cafe. Nice and cosy. Super friendly staff and super dog friendly. The food was delicious and the dog lovely some of the fried breakfast. Coffee was delicious. It’s not big so if you don’t want to chat to the next table it may not be for you. But we loved the cosy atmosphere on a super rainy day. Food is resonantly priced for the quality.

Tucked away behind the shops on the main street in a courtyard, this is a hidden gem. We visited for lunch and it was quite busy but we found a table. We opted for homemade pea and mint soup with a warm cheese scone with butter. The soup was delicious and the scone was scrummy. There is a lovely atmosphere and the staff are helpful and friendly. We eyed some of the other plates coming out and the food all looked delicious! There is seating outside for fairer weather. Two soups, two cappuccinos £19, very good value for good quality food. Recommended.

Lovely food and drinks, all fresh. My son rates the gluten free chocolate brownie the best in the UK (and he's tried many!) but always says Milo's comes out top. I really appreciate the loose leaf tea in a pot.

Lovely little independent cafe with filling food. Tucked away off the busy high street sitting amongst a few other independent shops is a beautiful setting for the cafe. Friendly staff and a lovely menu. The flat bread was topped with food full of flavour. The outdoor seating was perfect for our dog and they provided a huge dog bowl for him to drink from. Reasonable priced and good for people with dietary requirements.

We went to this place based on good reviews, but was well disappointed. I had full English breakfast, they advertise 2 sausages and I only got 1. The hash browns were not hash browns but small Luke warm fried potatoes and not crispy like hash browns, and to cap that my fried egg was overdone and solid! I did not complain as I don’t like confrontation, but still annoyed about it hence this post. We will not be returning.

We called into Milo’s today and had a fabulous lunch, we all had the filled ciabatta’s, great portion, very tasty and arrived quickly. The staff were very smiling and attentive. We took our dog who was welcomed inside. Always a pleasure and we recommend to anyone who visits market harborough.

We went to Milo's today for my wife's surprise birthday brunch. We booked for a table of 9, the staff were so helpful and accomodating. We arrived and sat upstairs, with 3 small children, staff immediately did all they could to make sure we were settled and comfortable. We ordered children's milkshakes which were amazing. The children had ham sandwiches, the adults had a selection of Club sandwiches, bacon and brie ciabatta and the jacket potato. All looked amazing and I would have any of those again! Desserts was scrumptious the nutella Brownie is a definite. Overall a great little find and this will become our local cafe from now on. My advice.....go and check it out you won't be disappointed! The staff, service and food made it a wonderful experience!

Busy little place. Staff efficient and polite. The only snag is they don’t accept cash! I don’t always wish to use my debit/credit/Apple pay for transactions. Annoying!

I’m so glad we discovered this little gem – you have to know it’s here. We called in for a quick coffee, but the atmosphere, the décor, the helpful staff – and the coffee – were so good that we went back later for lunch. There’s a great choice of savoury and sweet. Our sandwiches were brilliant and the beer and wine we had to accompany them was excellent too. We’ll definitely be back.

Wow what a gem very busy when we called but staff were very polite and welcoming ( even under pressure) As for the food what can we say ? ummm to say LARGE helpings is an understatement. Everything lovely and fresh. The feta quiche was quite simply the best we’ve ever had. This cosy spot is run by young, friendly staff. There is a great breakfast/brunch menu and a good choice of lunch options. Everything is freshly prepared to your order. The coffee was good and the home made cakes delicious

THIS CAFE --- they only accept CARDS no CASH. Lunch was okay allow expensive for what it was. The Toilet was filthy floor soaking wet, bin full, no toilet paper. Many elderly do not use cards !! I won't be visiting them again.

Visited with my wife on a Wednesday lunch time, when we arrived the restaurant was fairly quite. We found our own seat and then we’re given menus. We ordered what we wanted and then waited. The restaurant quickly filled and we found that others were being served even though they arrived after us. We went to ask why and where ours drinks were and they apologised and quickly brought them out.When we went to tot he counter the staff were all chatting and one had her coat on behind the counter and was on her way out.Food when it finally arrived was very nice though. Sadly we won’t be back , the staff need to tend to their non regulars as as good as they do with their clearly regular clients.

Walking round we found this little gem for a brunch visit. Pleasant little cafe with friendly staff and a varied menu. We chose smashed avocado toast with eggs and bacon and a tuna/cheese toasted ciabatta. Both plates were well presented with (on the tuna plate) a nicely dressed side salad, coleslawe and crisps. We really enjoyed the meals and hot drinks were very good to (latte and green tea). I wouldn't hesitate in visiting here again.

I found this cafe on trip advisor and was not disappointed. My daughter and I visited today for Brunch with my 3 week old grandson. They made a space for the buggy which made the whole experience nice and relaxed for us all. The food was delicious and the service very friendly. We certainly will return.

Staying for the first time in Market Harborough and all the Travelodge could offer was a vile boxed breakfast which forced me to venture outside of the hotel. Just literally around the corner I stumbled on Milo's and had a very chilled poached eggs on toast (wasn't even on the menu but they wee happy to oblige) with freshly brewed tea. I read a lot of good reviews for Milos but I have to say I was really disappointed. We arrived and got seated, 2 women arrived 5 minutes after us and were welcomed by the waitress who stood chatting to them and then took their order, meanwhile we were still waiting for menus. we then received menus and orders. Benedict was below average - mainly the 'hollandaise' which was about as thick as milk. I had a fruit scone which was stale. It actually tasted like it had been frozen and thawed - you know that fusty sort of taste. When topped with loads of cream and jam was fine but not at all what I expected. Maybe it is better for regulars who definitely get preferential service.

Found this little cafe two years ago and always have lunch there when we're in Market Harborough. The food is consistently good and the staff always really friendly. We came in after school for a treat, when we arrived there was only 1 other customer, but staff too busy having loud animated conversation to take any notice of us. We had to approach them and felt as if we were interrupting their busy conversation which was most certainly not work related. They were really slow with our order,forgot water, the cakes we had were nice but we just felt like an inconvenience, getting in the way of their private and very loud chit chat. Just really unprofessional. The tea I had was also very weak.

We came in for an after school treat, the cafe was empty but for 1 customer, but there were dirty tables. We were ignored when we came in and when I went to the counter until I interrupted the staff's loud and raucous personal conversation. Service was slow and although the cake was nice the staff were obviously completely absorbed in their own conversation and oblivious to the customers, a waitress nearly dropped a tray of drinks over another table. I just felt were we an inconvenience to their personal chit chat. Plus the tea was awfully weak.

I was sure I'd reviewed milos before, but apparent not, which is a glaring ommission on my part. This tiny. Well hidden place us just sublime and no trip to M H is complete without a visit. Our most recent was on a very busy Saturday and our very, very helpful hostess helped the three of us find a space large enough. A word about staff. All very young, but there must be something magical about working here because all, without exception are spot on with knowledge and customer service.

One of the best breakfast's I've ever eaten! Everything was excellent - the hash browns, the crispy bacon and the sausages were amazing!! The pricing isn't too bad, the coffee is lovely and the place is very quaint! The only thing that was an issue during out visit at 10am on a Saturday morning was that due to the busy café and the tiny kitchen, our order took over 40mins to arrive.

Popped in for a spot of lunch, the place is tucked away off the Main Street and has a quaint atmosphere. Tables outside with plenty more inside too. The service was excellent and the waitress was very friendly and has an amazing knowledge of all the menu. I had the eggs benedict, and my wife had the club chicken sandwich. Both were excellent and I would say it’s the best eggs benedict I have ever had! Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

We came especially to Milos on our trip to Market Harborough specifically because of these reviews and a recommendation. We were delighted to be early birds for breakfast and enjoyed full English, the pescatarian breakfast and great drinks. We'd have loved to sit outside but it was a bit too breezy. Service came with a smile and we loved our visit.

Lots of choice for gluten free people like me. I decided on a Sausage Sandwich with a sweet onion chutney, all gluten free. There was gluten free cakes and many meal options to choose from including full English breakfast. I will be back.

Tried this by chance just off the high street. Fancied a light lunch but there were 4 adults, 1 child and 1 baby so weren't sure if we could be accommodated. The waitress was really helpful and set us up with a suitable table and high chair for the little one. We sat inside, but there was some nice seating outside in the courtyard. Both ordinary and child's menus were available. Waitress provided us all with a glass of water as it was hot, while we decided. Had a selection of hot ciabattas and a chicken caesar salad and all of us were delighted. The child's portion was not much smaller than the adult! The waitress was happy to box up anything we couldn't manage to eat! We were comfy, well looked after and not rushed and all for a very reasonable price. Will definitely go back next time we visit the town.

This little eatery is a hidden gem. It was busy and popular. Great soups, salads and fabulous cakes. The tables are a bit close though - difficult to get around.

We popped in for breakfast on Trip Advisor recommendations and were not disappointed. Crushed Avocado on sour dough with 2 poached eggs, eggs benedict with generous slice of ham and 2 poached eggs - all eggs cooked perfectly, all washed down with coffee. £19 isn't the cheapest around but it is Market Harborough !

My meal was ok but my daughter had avocado on toast with poached eggs that were overlooked should be a nice runny yol. Also had to wait nearly an hour, would appreciate being told how long the wait would be approximately.

The Hubster and I stopped by for lunch today..Beautiful warm sunny courtyard and a truly lovely lunch..very pleasant staff especially "Nina" who was probably the friendliest person we've met in a while ! Well done Milos we shall spread the word and will return soon

Milo's is well worth a visit and, on a sunny day, particularly, with its outside tables. Inside is a kind of civilised 'bohemian chic.' with attractive colours. Friendly staff, and tantalisingly tasty cakes!!..

We make the occasional visit here when we are passing through and always enjoy the warm welcome and fantastic homemade cakes.
