Golly found Millie Moo by accident while travelling along A68 Between Gainforth and Barnard Castle near the village of Winston there is a lay-by and the impressive wagon is parked there. Immaculately clean, extensive choice of breakfasts, lunches including big butties full of roast meats and other options for Veggies and vegan. Very generous, very tasty, lots of hot roast beef (rather large portion for me) good fresh roll and gravy, plus crisp potatoes well seasoned, and options for mustard or horseradish dip. I had good horseradish! Very good choice of drinks, both hot and cold. Exceptional value, friendly fast service…. they deserve to have happy customers and return business . Look at summer and winter opening hours on website. They also do private functions which i bet will be popular! Would return.

We drove to gainford to my mums cottage from Lytham st Anne’s passing Millie moos on route, my family members have eaten here recently and said it is some of the best food they have had. Today we have had 2 of there hot sandwiches and WOW it was absolutely delicious the potatoes are divine and the size of the portions are massive! Finally what a delightful guy Michael is and really really deserves success! Everyone get to Millie Moos you won’t be disappointed!

Millie Moos' catered an outside event for our company owners 80th Birthday. Wow is all I can say, the hot pork sandwich was divine, and the roasties were to die for.....I'll definitely be timing my trips to barney to coincide with opening times from now on.

Been here a few times and very friendly, great service and delicious coffee with a sausage sandwich. We even sampled the vegan sausage and soup and the vegan sausage is the best I have ever had with just the right seasoning.
