One of the best restaurants we have been to recently. We opted for 2 starters and 2 mains as suggested ( for 3) with 2 sides. Kingfish crudo and radicchio salad then chicken yakitori and ribeye. Dessert - just the cherry on cake. Not cheap for 70euro/ head with drinks and coffee. But worth every penny/ euro.

I'd say overrated. Didn't enjoy much apart from the interior. Had half stone cold half hot pot of chips, desert was far away from a crumble, drinks were alright. Wouldn't come back.

Food was ok, nothing special, not sure why everyone raves about it. It comes out in dribs and drabs so not everyone eats at the same time. But the service was appalling - waiting nearly an hour for your first drink isn't good and everytime we asked where the drinks were, we were told "I can see them on the bar" They need more staff with more customer service rather than posers who use the place as a catwalk

Had a fabulous evening at Milk Beach (Lonsdale Road) last week. My husband and I went on a thursday and we loved it. The food was as wonderful as it was the first time I went. Every dish is beautifully prepared and the flavours are incredible. Service was great and the staff gave us some great recommendations. It wasn't full (shame, it should be) but was a really nice vibe and felt like a great night out. Highly recommend the miso glazed aubergine and the monkfish. Also the best spicy margarita I've had for a long time.

Excited to try this place given the purported Australian influence. Didn't see much of Australian modern cuisine come through in the dishes, but the food was pleasant nonetheless. The must try dish is the oyster mushroom kebab. 10/10. Prompt service in a great part of Soho. Not sure if I would visit again, but I wasn't disappointed.

Really disappointed. We've been to Milk Beach a few times before and really enjoyed it (I left a glowing, 5 star review in November 2022), so we thought it would be a good place to bring a guest visiting from Spain. We were frankly embarrassed... No are no longer 'allowed' to sit at the bar overlooking the kitchen (where we have always sat before). A shame, because this was fun and fitted in with the relaxed, friendly feel of the place. The main room of the restaurant was dead - only two other tables were occupied. This was surprising for a Thursday evening. Service was a bit pushy and charmless - attempting to upsell us to a grossly overpriced bottle of Vinho Verde (who ever heard of this lovely but generally good value wine being priced at nearly £50???). The menu is too heavily biased towards small plates. Very few large / main plates. The starters were actually very tasty: dumplings, octopus and potato gems - but the portions were tiny, too small for the price. The biggest let down was the chicken schnitty's - this is the restaurant's signature dish. We all had them and they were all terrible: hard, desperately dry, small. one was burnt - if those were made fresh I'd eat my hat (in fact my hat would be more succulent and tastier... no excuse for not preparing them freshly when the restaurant is this quiet). The recipe for the crumb seems to have been changed to a spicier blend - and this was not popular. Over £200 for a poor meal. A great shame as we used to like this place, but we won't be back.

What a place! This restaurant reflects the spirit of Soho - it is cutting edge, stylish, high quality, and has some great food and service. And, for Soho and London, fairly reasonable! Our party of 5 had dinner with drinks and all were superb. The Schnitzy chicken was a crowd favorite, along with the grilled mushrooms. Our helper, Sanya, was excellent with recommendations and set a high bar for service. They will definitely see me again when I am next in London.

Sublime food. Every dish is perfectly balanced, nothing is bland or too heavy, and perfectly cooked. The onglet with kimchi, and the octopus croquets are to die for. Cocktails and wines are fabulous and not overpriced, and service is spot on and attentive. There are many good things to say about Milk Beach in Soho. It is sited in a beautiful courtyard just off the busy streets of Soho. The vibe and decor feel sunny, relaxed and welcoming. The friendly warmth of the staff was a real highlight; from the lovely host who welcomed me on like a long time friend, to the delightful waitress with a sunny smile who was efficient and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic, best breakfast I have had for a long time. I can’t wait to visit again for dinner!

The food was excellent, the staff amazing and the place has a great, relaxed atmosphere - you really could be in a restaurant in Australia or somewhere in the Mediterranean. Definitely a destination restaurant - well worth travelling to, or stopping by if you’re in central London. Their take on prawn toast melts in your mouth and makes you want to order more and more and more! The aubergine karaage, chicken schnitty, rib eye and oyster mushroom are all out of this world. For dessert, the lamington was a luscious mix of cake, jam and soft meringue and we had to order another to take home and eat the next day. Great cocktails, the Milk Beach martini highly recommended - don’t forget to eat the garnish, I won’t spoil the surprise, you’ll understand once you try it! Dale, Danny and Nick were great hosts for our celebration dinner.

The restaurant is decorated to a nice standard and there is a relaxed atmosphere in there. The food tasted nice as expected for the price however we had to wait 45 mins for our second course. We had to ask for drinks rounds and for water and when we ordered the drinks they were nowhere to be seen 45 minutes later. When we asked the waiter about this he didn’t even apologise. I would not recommend this place and think the service was terrible. The waiting staff were sprinting round like their lives depended on it and the toilet roll wasn’t even on the holder.

Got to say that after reading lots of good reviews for this place, I thought lunch was pretty underwhelming. It wasnt awful, we ate everything ordered and the staff were obliging, but the food was lacking in taste and wow factor. The chicken schnitty was a pretty ordinary breadcumbed chicken breast, a bit dry and expected a bit of flavour in the coating but alas no, although the mayo was ok. The prawn toast lacked seasoning. Chicken salt fries were good but not enough of them. Mid priced about £45 a head. Nice setting. Not sure I would rush back.

Both had the breakfast. Great flavours! Partner is a coffee snob and he loved his coffee and the strawberry latte is amazing.
