My wife and I went for brunch one weekend. The cafe is under new management and now called Willow Tree Cafe. The late breakfast we had was superb. The friendly service we had was prompt and polite. The atmosphere was calm, friendly, and family orientated. I have not hesitation in recommending.

This seems to be under new management as it is no longer called Sarah's café but is now Harrow Hill golf course. The course is good for beginnners with 9 short holes that are quite well maintained, with quite wide fairways. However, beware that there is quite a lot of dense rough where it is easy to lose a ball. The cafe is OK - we had cake and drinks after playing golf. It is reasonable value, nicely served and the slices of cake were very large.

The roast lunch was pretty large - chicken breast fillet, roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding, brocoli, red cabbage, carrot and swede mash, stuffing and gravy - all was pretty good - with the exception of the red cabbage which was a bit too vinegary for my liking. For pudding I had lemon meringue pie and ice cream, finished with a coffee. Coffee was one of the best coffees I have had in recent months. All for about 16 pounds - so really good value. It was very busy and you would have to make a reservation for a sunday lunch. All in all, pretty good, just a bit too large helpings!

Took my mum here yesterday for some lunch. It was my first time sitting inside. The windows, lights and walls were absolutely filthy! There were cobwebs hanging from the lights and walls. There were spiders on the inside of the windows and the windows were dirty. Inside the lamp shades were filthy too. Our toasties were ok but I could tell the toast or machine needed a clean also as there were black spots all over it. It’s also not cheap.

Visiting family in the area we had lunch at Sarah's Cafe. The cafe has a modern, airy feel and it was nice to see the work of local artists on the walls. There was a wide selection of lunch-time snacks available and the toasties and sandwiches we ordered were very good.

We arrived after 3pm on a Sunday, it wasn't too busy but service was a bit slow which was the only downside to our visit. I ate chicken breast roast dinner, with a pud and tea and coffee it was a decent 15.95. The wife had beef lasagne which was also pretty good. I'd say the roast dinner was the best we've eaten in Harrow and we'll definitely return at some stage.

I’m not going to bad mouth this little café as it was quite nice. The food (beans on toast) was relatively pleasant and the place was clean and bright, but my gripe is with the distinct lack of vegan options. This is generally not a problem for me. I’m used to ordering beans on dry toast (when in cafes) or chips and salad (when in restaurants or pubs). My issue is with the fact that tripadvisor advertised this little cafe with ‘vegan options’ and that was the sole reason for my visit. It clearly wasn’t the case! A simple update to the menu would include avocado 🥑 for breakfast and falafel 🥙 for lunch. And don’t forget your soya milk. Simples! PS here’s a photo of my beans on toast in case you were wondering

Sarah's Cafe is a surprise. When you drive off the main road, there is an oasis of green and a garden with a view over a grassy golf course. On a hot day it is very pleasant to sit at one of the picnic bench style tables and enjoy a meal. It is not cheap but not too expensive - drinks -non-alcoholic - a Chicken Caesar salad and a guilty pleasure portion of chips that we shared came, with a tip, to about £30.00.On a cooler day you might want to sit inside but the interior is very basic.

We just had our first Sunday Roast lunch at Sarah's Cafe in Harrow. This is a lovely family run cafe in Harrow and serves traditional British food. Our order: 2 roast rib-eye beef (with trimmings- roast potatoes, pickled red cabbage, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, broccoli and carrot mash and gravy). For dessert we had a chocolate brownie with ice cream and a Bakewell tart with cream. The beef with gravy, Yorkshire pudding and carrot mash were particularly flavourful. We thought the roast potatoes were slightly dry. The desserts were perfect. But we were most impressed by the warm welcome and customer care. Our total bill (for 2) was just under £38 (including a small bottle of still water). Keep up the good work guys!

After a long night shift, my friends and I went to have breakfast @ Sarah's cafe to de-stress. Lovely atmosphere, a right gem in Harrow. Food was delicious! HOWEVER, whilst waiting for our meals, a guy came up and RUDELY asked us to turn our phones "off" and walked away (we were watching Oscar's mishap). Thinking that we may have unawarely played the video so loudly, we've put it on mute and apologised. We ignored his tone as we thought he was just some random man having a bad day. Halfway through happily enjoying our meals, he condescendingly shouted from the counter "You can now use your phones until another customer comes!" And that started an argument because he was very patronising! We have never felt so unwelcome by an owner himself. I did not know a cafe can have such rules as libraries and churches do. Signs like 'no phones allowed' would have been very helpful. Him shouting across his cafe was not necessary. He did not even come up to us to mend the situation. If it was a misunderstanding, he could have been professional and communicated like someone who 'owns' a cafe. Not a discriminating rascal! His unruly behaviour went on until a lady came to apologised in behalf of his manners!! What a shame! I was embarrassed as I invited my friends. Will never go back and will definitely let my mates in Hospital know!

Popped in here today, plenty of parking, (it is also a 9 hole golf course) café sited in a porta cabin pleasantly decorated with Art work for sale. Lovely welcome from young ladies, comfortable and warm with extensive food menu from breakfasts to main meals and everything in between. Jackets, Toasties, soups, desserts, cakes and blackboard specials. Food was delicious, pleasing on the eye, fresh, tasty and good sized portions. Would highly recommend and they have quite a few regular customers, I can see why if I lived closer I would be too. They also advertise special Bistro evenings and Sunday roasts. The cakes looked delicious so ended up with takeaway Maple & Pecan cake which was delicious. Hope to go back when it's warmer might even try my hand at golf :)

I found this place in TripAdvisor and since the reviews were good and it was in a walking distance from my friends place I thought to give it a go. The espresso was not good it looked like the ones you get in a vending machine and tasted as it looked as well. How you can fail a coffee with a normal espresso machine is beyond me. I had eggs Benedict for brunch and it was tasty but it didn't look the part. If you like tea and friendly atmosphere looking over the golf course and maybe order a tea and some English breakfast or something of the amazing sweets collection then it's the place for you. But if you go to this cafe for a coffee and you are big fun of coffee then you better of somewhere else. I would try it again with something else. Until then 3 is the max I can give you for the service I got. Cheers.

My wife and I had breakfast here recently on a cold London day. The English breakfast was lovey, and very well prepared. So a while back I was looking through TripAdvisor to find a decent greasy spoon and I stumbled across sarah's cafe, what I read was nothing but positive reviews and what really caught my eye was how people were raving about the food specially breakfast. Monday morning I thought I'd give the place a try. It was a miserable morning, cold and wet. I walked in to what seemed to be a mobile building ( kind of reminded me of our temp classrooms back in primary school ) I was greeted by a lovely lady ( I think it might of been sarah the owner but she looked like she was in charge) promptly sat a a table handed a menu and a young waitress came over instantly to take a beverage order, impressed and with out hesitation I ordered a latte . While looking at sarah's menu i'm taken back with the dishes the cafe has to offer, eggs Benedict, American pancakes with sausage and bacon, Croque Madame ( ham and cheese toasty topped with an fried egg) and the English and full English breakfast . With in a few minutes the waitress was with me with my latte and it was hot and came with the cutest, tasty little home made shortbread man .. nice touch anyway I ordered the full English no toms hash browns instead ( no additional charge) and it comes with toast!!Within 7-10 mins my breakfast comes out pipping hot and the first thing I always look at when breakfast comes to me is the eggs, if the eggs are cooked correctly the likelihood is the rest of the components of the dish will be up to the same standard, and believe me this breakfast did not disappoint me . Eggs cooked perfectly and done in a frying pan basted with the fat of the pan , sausages were flavoursome perhaps they were Lincolnshire or Cumberland, bacon smoked it had the crispest skin and wasn't to dry . Beans hot , mushrooms sauted in butter , thick golden brown hash browns and toast made from bread from the bakery, absolute breakfast porn!! the latte to wash it down completed what for me was the best breakfast experience since the Spanish arch . Breakfast and coffee set me back £11 but I am happy to spend the extra few pounds on a little more quality on food and the service !!You guys at sarah's are a hidden gem in harrow, finally I have found a spot where I can have a top breakfast . Great work team . I will be back and certainly pass on trade to friends .

I really rate Sarah's cafe, lovely tasting full English, they even do an American style one which is pretty hard to get spot on and it tastes lovely. Real nice selection of cakes, and proper pots of tea. If I'm totally honest, one of the waitresses in there is absolutely gorgeous and I think I'm going to have to ask her out next time I go. That's more than can be said about Sarah herself though, she seemed slightly stuck up towards me. Probably because I talk with a hint of cockney. Oh well, can't fault the food. 4 stars.

Just back from lunch with friends at Sarah's Cafe and felt compelled to re-review, as this place managed yet again to tick all the boxes - great food (Halloumi Caesar Salad highly recommended) and wonderful home made cakes - so hard to choose. Best of all that the food is prepared and served by friendly welcoming people who seem to really enjoy the job they are doing and take time to actually talk to customers and check everything is satisfactory. Add to this the convenience of being able to park right outside, ease of access for those with mobility issues, and an area to sit and admire the golf course when the weather is fine - sadly not today, and this place is always first choice for a get together.

Great little cafe for lunch and breakfast. We popped in after reading the trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The cafe has a nice atmosphere and an extensive menu with good options for vegetarians. The homemade cakes are too die for and the Victoria sponge was the best that I have ever tasted. We will most definitely be back, the Sunday lunch looked amazing.

Sarah's has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with great food and excellent service. It is perfectly set up for kids with Lego and crayons to use and when the weather is good, they've a nice outside area looking out onto the golf course. There's always a good range of tasty homemade cake and the coffee is good, but we mainly go for breakfast which is delicious and is good value compared with similar places in the area. We've been coming as a family for a number of years and are getting ready to head there now!

Have been here a few times for brunch/lunch with my little baby (now toddler!). I know a friend (review below) who didnt have a great experience but am relieved that we have had no problems. Sarah and her daughter were great helping me with a highchair, crayons and distracting my baby so i cd get her into her pram for the walk home! And they didnt bat an eyelid as my toddler flung pieces of her pancake around her on a saturday morning. Yes space for buggies is limited inside so prob not best for mummy groups, unless it is summer and they can sit outside.View over the golf course particularly on a sunny day is serene (pity about the edifice of nwp hospital)! The cafe - looks like (?is) a portacabin from outside, but inside is clean, tastefully decorated and a little haven from the hustle of Harrow. The food isnt cheap but tastes great. Love the eggs florentine - yum! Scones were great too! Will be heading over for another weekend brunch soon!

After having breakfast here a week before we went for Sunday roast on 30th November. The food was lovely in terms of quality but if you have a healthier appetite then the portion is a little on the small side. The home made brownie I had for dessert was lovely. Also I feel the food is on the expensive side. £88 for 4 roasts, 2 glasses of wine & 2 soft drinks but nevertheless still a pleasant lunch.

Stumbled on this place by accident, looking for a cafe close to Westminster Uni campus as was in town for a uni open day with my daughter. The cafe is very quaint, lovely service. The breakfast was a massive portion. Me and my daughter shared an american style breakfast and it was more than enough for us both.

There are very few eating places that just make me smile thinking about them, this is one of that select few. I eat here quite often, and would do so more often if it wasn't for the cakes! Not I hasten to add because the cakes are bad, quite the opposite: I'm trying to lose weight and I could all too easily succumb to the "Nana's Fruit Cake" (I don't like fruit cake, and this one is wonderful!) or Bakewell Tart. The Cafe is part of the little 9 hole par three golf course close to Harrow town centre. The course is run by former tournament pro Simon Bishop, and the cafe by his wife Sarah. Golfers will find the course a nice little challenge for their short game. The cafe itself is a nice, bright wooden building with good views of course, and quite a few trestle tables outside. My preference on a nice day is to sit out there. There are good breakfasts, high quality sausage and bacon and I like the scrambled eggs. There are plenty of other options including lunch items and of course the home made cakes. The coffee is good and hence I tend to have breakfast here quite a lot. I think afternoon tea is even better, the scones and cakes are home-made, and of a high standard. The prices do reflect the quality, this is not trying to be a cheap-eats venue, but I think the value is fair. The service is uniformly charming, and the site includes a car-park. The only slight downside is that the place is becoming popular, and on wet days inside the cafe gets a bit noisy when it's full.I should mention that outside guests may be honoured by a visit from Herbie the astonishingly well trained and excessively cute course-dog. He knows not to come into the cafe or carpark and not to chase golf balls.

Although not cheap, the food here never disappoints and the coffee is excellent. A great place to meet friends for lunch or breakfast and there is ample parking space. The staff are all friendly and courteous without being obtrusive. Highly recommend!

I have enjoyed many meals at this lovely little cafe, most recently to celebrate a friend's birthday. A group of 8 of us all agreed that the food and service were as always outstanding. We had ordered a birthday cake as a surprise, and as with all the cakes it was baked freshly in the cafe, and was delicious. The menu offers a good range of dishes to cater for all tastes, and there are always specials on offer. Try to ensure you leave room for a slice of one of the lovely cakes, or take a piece home with you. This is a lovely place to meet up with friends. Ample parking is an added bonus.

Adjoining and part of the golf course (you can play a 9 hole round before or after your meal) this is a little gem. Food is excellent and we often call in for brunch. Very nice outside eating area and it is hard to believe you are in a city and within a built up area (all you can see is grass and trees)

I am a frequent visitor to Sarah's. The food here is just fabulous, always fresh and beautifully presented. The cakes and scones are particularly to die for! The bonus - on a sunny day you can sit in a green oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We only had a cappuccino and a hot chocolate after a nice game of golf. We started thinking it was taking too much time when they finally reached out tableHot chocolate topped with whip cream and marshmallow Cappuccino with a nice thick layer of frothed milk They took their time but it was well worth the wait

This is my favourite cafe. The staff are warm and welcoming. The location in lovely, it is hard to find such a calm and peaceful location in London, however if you turn off the Kenton Road into Sarah's cafe you will be surprised to find that you feel as if you are in the countryside. The cafe is light, spacious and airy, looking out onto trees and fields. There also plenty of outdoor tables for sunny days. The food is delicious, one of my favourites is the cooked breakfast which I have had many times, carefully presented, with great quality ingredients. If you decide to treat yourself, have a piece of the Victoria Sandwich Cake which is delicious, freshly baked, moist, light and hard to resist. All in all a warm hearted cafe, an individual gem of a place.

Having had the fry up here some months ago, I thought eggs benedict was a safe choice. Not! The eggs were undercooked to the point that the white was wobbling. The hollandaise tasted like salad cream and was drizzled on the eggs instead of covering them (if it was warm hollandaise and had covered them they would have been cooked...).On top of this, you can only really eat here outside. When the doors are closed the whole place smells of cooking and so do you by the time you leave. I have fed this back a number of times, but they still haven't invested in ventilation. And finally, it is the most expensive cake I have ever had. Much more than normal coffee shops and John Lewis!!!

I went to this café on Monday the 18th of May and had a breakfast that included two eggs. two hash brows and two pancakes I now realise that I was "ripped" off because I was charged £9,60 for it all I had was a small cup of coffee and two slices of toast as well.

Stayed in Harrow recently and had breakfast here instead of the hotel. Far greater choice and better value for money. Pass on the hotel deals and go here for breakfast. Clean & plenty of parking. Even better if you fancy a round of golf!

After researching for child friendly places to have lunch with my friend and our newborn babies, we thought Sarah's cafe would be a good choice. However, when we arrived we were refused seating as Sarah explained they did not have space to accommodate our buggies. It was a weekday lunchtime and was about half full. Needless to say we felt extremely disappointed and upset that we were turned away on this basis. Parents be warned!

Great cafe a minutes walk away from Wembley Park Tube station. A good old fashioned caff! Greeted with a good morning as I walked in, friendly service, pretty quick too as I mentioned I was heading into central London for a train. Food was great, fresh, good quality, hot and tasted great. Highly recommended.
