The whole experience was a nightmare. We were 16, who ended up leaving. Had the owner told us when we walked in that due to the weather he was short staffed, we could have found an alternative restaurant for our Christmas dinner. They managed to bring us a few tapas until we never saw any more food. After sitting down at 19:00hrs we left at 22:30hrs. What a joke. ps. The few tapas we were served. excellent. But 16 people never ate anything else.

Went there on a Tuesday at 8pm as per their opening hours and the man inside did not even open the door as his football match was more important. If it is closed on Tuesday, clarify it!

Welcome, warm, friendly, very friendly, we ordered a jug of Sangria, its exquisite flavor, for the starter Grilled Octopus, everything ready, excellent texture, Puntillitas was also ordered, delicious, soft and crunchy. As a main course, we ordered grilled sea bream and Galician monkfish, everything delicious, well seasoned. We didn't order dessert, but we did enjoy coffee and tea. We were happy, good experience and sure that we will return. Thanks to the entire team for your attention.

Ordered a Paella and it came burnt and the meat was very dry you couldn't scrape the food off the bottom off the Paella plate (you could smell it was burnt when being served.) Spoke to the waiter and he looked at us like we were stupid. The cook cam and she was very apologetic but I am sorry we will not be coming to eat here again.

The best restaurant in London with a family atmosphere and first-class service

The food wasn't bad at all although the ones you saw, which were scallops, were overcooked as were the grilled prawns. The pickled anchovies looked like they were from a can and were very dry. We ordered oxtail empanadas, which had good flavor and a secret ingredient, a piece of glass, which according to the waitress was a piece of plastic that had hardened when heating the empanadas 🤦🏼‍♂️ And he neither apologized nor offered us anything . At the end we ordered a coffee liqueur. When we saw the bill, they had charged us for double shots without the waitress telling us anything. They have to improve a lot if they want to reach the level of those who had it before.

La comida estaba más o menos bien, buen servicio, pero encontré un pedazo de vidrio en una de las empanadas de rabo y no se preocuparon por ello. Decidimos quedarnos allí. Al final de la cena, pedimos un chupito y no nos preguntaron si queríamos doble o individual y obviamente, nos cobraron el doble y ningún descuento por las "empanadas especiales de vidrio". Caro para la comida que comimos.

Everything was amazing, from beginning to end. I can vouch this place, authentic spanish food. Great squid, prawns and mostly Paella Marinera, I was having sex in my mouth with all of the amazing flavours we were having. Thank you Carlos for your hospitality, great place to dine at. Not so price like in central London but def worthy. ❤️❤️❤️

Grandes tapas españolas y platos principales también disponibles. Las croquetas y las gambas eran preciosas. Pimientos padrones también. El pulpo estaba delicioso. Personal eficiente y amable.

La comida escasa y preparada de mala manera pero se podía comer, la tapa de chorizos que nos sirvieron era en teoría para 5 personas y había 4 tajadas de chorizo que si lo ponías al trasluz se veía al otro lado, 1 croqueta por persona y otras tapas que daba rabia comer porque el de al lado se quedaba sin ración. Para colmo de males hemos pillado al cocinero meterse el dedo la nariz, DE ASCO!!! Ahora eso sí, a la hora de pagar como si comieras en el Hilton.

My experience was the worst you can have in a restaurant when they serve you with bad manners. I had an accident before paying the bill. I dropped my beer glass. I apologized that it had been an accident, which is normal in a restaurant and the response was that I had to pay for the glass and the worst thing was that they made me pay 4 pounds for a small glass that was not made of glass...I told them that it looked like a place for starving people, the glasses are given away by the suppliers, maybe they are very needy to charge and at that price for a glass and never in my life have I seen any restaurant charge for a glass...I do not recommend it at all, terrible service and bad manners, the worst thing is that I went to make a reservation and I think they save me from something worse...I hope my opinion helps you

Centro Galego? Non at All!!! Once upon at time it used to rock but unfortunately, that's not the case anymore!!! Food 0 out of 10! £28 for a ración of callos, hechos I'd guess....a month ago, non edibles!! Tortilla not better, bread inedible. Una caña £4.20! En summary, don't go!!! Far Better Off going to La Plaza en Ladbroke Grove!!!

Upon a friend's recommendation, I ventured into this restaurant, and what I discovered inside was truly extraordinary. Despite its unassuming exterior, the restaurant downstairs is a hidden treasure trove, serving up delectable and authentic Spanish fare. The tapas we sampled were nothing short of spectacular, with each dish offering generous portions and bursting with flavour. I'm already eagerly anticipating my next visit, during which I'll undoubtedly indulge in their renowned Paella. Furthermore, the staff members were exceptionally warm and hospitable, further enhancing our dining experience.

The food was really tasty (the padrón peppers were delicious 🤤), their selection of drinks is very good and the service was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Also, while we were there, we had the opportunity to meet the president of the association. It was wonderful to learn more about the place from when it started until now. I will come back and definitely recommend it.

We booked through Fork with 50% discount all time the whole day. The manager rejected 50% discount by saying even she can see my booking (I showed her the email confirmation) but the booking doesn’t say it’s 50% discount. This is ridiculous! Not honest people!

The foods were excellent! We really enjoy the seafood paellas, baby squids, calamaries, and bolognese pasta for three of us. The atmosphere is friendly, warm and cozy. We will come back another time.

Where do I start? Boss man was one of the most helpful people in Barcelona (defo wasn’t a crook). They had everything on the menu and the pasta was so good looked really professional! Calamari wasn’t over cooked and you couldn’t kill a pigeon with it if you threw it hard enough. They have the best medium rare chicken breast in all of el raval. Will definitely return to this really nice restaurant. (P.S. boss man you’re a crook)

Edit: was definitely a 5 star (for the food quality) a couple of years ago...then it closed for a while, and when it reopened the quality had dropped DRAMATICALLY.

Nothing to do with what it was before. There was only one English couple eating when we arrived. We started with a few pints of Estrella Galicia, well... Dry ham croquettes and the béchamel was more flour than anything else. Standard peppers that don't sting, so others don't... Greasy potato aioli with mayonnaise, garlic and parsley... Stiff octopus, overcooked, with undercooked potatoes... Cachopo, or rather cachopín... Accompanied by fries and salad from McDonald's. We didn't even want to try the desserts. Very bad experience. And it's a shame that one of London's best venues has been lost forever. The score reflects how it was before, not how it is now.

Bueno de centro gallego Nada. Ni un gallego en el local..... El licor cafe de Extremadura.... Lavado de dinero(cobro con tarjeta a nombre de Kay BigMama). Dudas en que tengan licencia Mas bajo no se puede caer... Grupo de 20 personas las que reservamos una de los comedores que tienen, (nos piden £150 de reserva) hasta aqui todo bien. Pedimos 24 tapas y 1 cachopo ( enano y £25,y nada bueno ) Decidimos que no pediremos mas comida a lo cual baja la cocinera colombiana a increparnos que si estamos de broma que como puede ser que pidamos solo eso, pues senora si la comida deja muchisimo que deseear que espera usted..... Adjunto foto de Puntillita ( ES PUNTILLITA NORMAL) si se puede llamar asi... El Raxo solo grasa otra verguenza ( foto) Los chorizos al vino ( chorizo frito con un chorro de vino al final (el vino tiene que cocinarse) Dos de las croquetas salieron trozitos de plastico. Lo unico comestible las 4 gambas al ajillo £6.5/cerveza VERGUENZA OS TENDRIA QUE DAR ENGLISH Not a Galician in the premises..... The coffee liquor of Extremadura.... Money laundering (card payment in the name of Kay BigMama). Not sure if they have license to operate You can't fall lower... A group of 20 people reserved one of the dining rooms they have, (they ask us for £150 for a reservation) so far so good. We ordered 24 tapas and 1 cachopo (small and £25, and not good at all) We decide that we will not order more food, to which the Colombian chef or worker comes down to reproach us that if we are joking and bla bla, how can it be that we order only that, well, ma'am, the food leaves a lot to be desired, what are you waiting for... Llame ayer para hacer una reserva para 3 personas a las 2pm, hoy acudo a las 2 de la tarde del sábado cuando el horario pone que abre a las 12 y me lo encuentro cerrado. Habíamos venido adrede hasta aquí y nos hemos ido con una gran decepción. ¿Por que confirman una reserva si no iban a estar abiertos?

Just a gem of a tapas bar in the wilds of Kendal Green at the top of Scrubbs Lane - an unlikely setting. Food was excellent. Service suberb. £30/head including amble delicious tapas & 1/2 bottle wine each. Go. You won't regret it.

This place was such a disappointment. We all got our food at different times, the quality of food was terrible and the place was freezing. We have been going to the same restaurant for over twenty years and watched it go down hill. Additionally, we were charged for food we had not ordered. What a shame, we will not be back!

I recently visited Centro Gallego de Londres in Willesden Junction, and I must say, the experience was quite enjoyable. The restaurant has recently changed ownership, but it still offers a good selection of Galician dishes. The food, while generally good, came in slightly smaller portions than expected. The flavors were decent, and I appreciated their selection of Galician beers. I'm particularly looking forward to returning for their queimada night, as it sounds like a unique and exciting event. Overall, a positive experience, and I'll be back to try more dishes and enjoy the queimada night

The best Spanish restaurant I have being so far. The manager and the team is really friendly. The food is amazing 😍. They have a VIP room for your own party that i used for a birthday surprise for my friend. I will definitely be back.

Fui a ver un partido del Real Madrid el partido se cortaba cada dos por tres y además en el menú tienen unos precios y después te cobran otros. También tardan la vida en entregar la comida y en cobrar aunque la comida es muy buena. La calidad no es mala pero sitio muy mejorable

It is very noticeable that it is not the same people as before because basically the cachopo was bad and the homemade "chicken" croquettes were the worst. We went based on the ratings that were there but later we found out that these owners are new, nor is the menu on the website the one that corresponds to the place, they maintain the ratings of the old restaurant but they are not the same. Galician none sure. Good luck for another time but come on, I do not recommend it because basically I will never return NO VAYAIS!! La verdad para no volver, abren a las 2 y el chef se presento a las 3.45, por tanto no comimos hasta muy tarde. Se nota mucho que no es la misma gente de antes porque basicamente el cachopo era malo y las croquetas caseras de ''pollo'' de lo peor. Edited: this used to be the best and most authentic Spanish food in London. We used to come regularly, loved the food, drinks and staff. They closed from October last year and reopened a few weeks ago. We were excited and went, only to be really disappointed. We were the only guests on a Thursday evening. They had 2 waiters and a chef. The staff was not attentive at all and preferred standing outside at the back. We literally had to put our hand up each time tp order. The drinks were fine but the food very disappointing. They said it’s the same menu but they definitely took 40% off the menu. The portions got a lot smaller and the only thing that tasted good were the prawns. The bread used to be baked there and fresh. Now just very soft and no taste. The bocerones were half the portion and lacked flavour. The monkfish at around £20 was a small plate of some overcooked white fish pieces with some cooked potatoes. No flavour and the potatoes were the the best part (but still bad). I can continue but overall it’s just so disappointing how such a good place went so terrible with renovation, a new owner and new staff. Only nice thing is that it’s renovated and a bit cleaner but I’d take back the old look & rest. Bring back the old version as it was sooo much better!

Nada que ver con lo que era antes... Pedimos boquerones al vinagre, pan con tomate y raxo. Los boquerones secos, de lata, sin aceite y sin nada. El pan con tomate con el pan bueno pero sin tostar. El raxo tardo 40 mins y cuándo llegó nos pareció muy pequeño para los 8.25 gbp que cuesta. Eso con 4 cañas 40 libras en total. Una pena para un sitio que ya tenía el trabajo hecho de tener buena fama.

Been close for a bit. Was really excited to go and eat some beautiful and tasty food. But totally disappointed. Gamba Al ajillo was terrible probably the most basic of the dishes. Services was amazing the gentlemen that helped was brilliant. But really food was a massive let down sorry. After trying the gamba I just dint want to risk it with the pulp Nice place for a beer and footie perhaps.

It's a Spanish centre but didn't have too much of the previous influence. Have had some lovely evening events before. Guess time will tell! Good luck🤞

Amazing food and staff! I am a Spaniard and this is the most authentic Spanish restaurant I have tried in London. The pulpo is very tasty and the rice is affordable and generous in quantity. Will be back for sure!

Perhaps not the most poshly decorated place and not set in one of the most beautiful locations in London, but absolutely worth it if you want to try the closest flavours to Spanish/Galician food. Definitely recommended and 100% worth it.

Fuimos varios amigos y teniamos reservado el menú del día .Al sentarnos a la mesa, la camarera parecía no saber que había menu del dia...La comida era de buena calidad pero muy escasa.Una croqueta por persona, según el menú que adjunto abajo, eran unas de jamón y otras de queso con espinacas, pues nos dieron 8 croquetas en total,siendo 8, a unos les tocó de jamón y a otros de queso, lo mismo con los calamares, o mejor dicho calamar, la paella del menú,apenas un plato pequeño por cabeza.He ido varias veces y solía estar lleno ,además por un precio aceptable, salias comido, cenado y sin ganas de desayunar.Sin embargo, está vez en junio 22, salias con hambre y fuimos al burgen King unas horas después. El restaurante estaba vacío, lo cual no me sorprende debido a lo que vi.Despues de comer,pedimos unas copas , bien servidas.Al pedir la cuenta, teniendo en cuenta que el menú incluía el servicio según la foto adjunta del menú y que íbamos a barra a por las copas,pues nos cobraron un 12.50% de servicio por la comida y copas.Obviamente es voluntario, pero que se lo queden , con no volver es suficiente. Con el dinero que solían recibir de la junta, podían dar 2 croquetas a cada uno.Poco más que decir, nos hubiera salido mejor coger un avión a Galicia

My brother and I visited having been highly recommended. We arrived at about 19.45 on a public holiday. Not too many customers but still too many for the one waitress. Consequently... Service and despatch of food was erratic. Food was acceptable but not extraordinary. The place looked as though it could benefit from a freshen up as well.

De todos los restaurantes españoles en Londres, este es sin duda de los más top. La comida es increible (especialmente el pulpo) y el servicio es muy bueno. Ambiente 100% español, en el piso de arriba televisan el fútbol y abajo a veces hay música española en directo. Precios adecuados a la calidad de la comida en mi opinión. El único pero que le pongo es la ubicación, pues en esa zona no hay mucha cosa y no está muy bien conectada.

Excellent octopus starter and fresh, home made like bread, good paella mixta and nice live music. We've also tried fried baby squid and I would advise you to not get it - dry and tasteless. Overall a good experience, but we do know other Spanish restaurants that are better. Worth a try, just not my favourite.

I am Spanish and I live in London. I always go to Centro Gallego to eat my favourite Spanish dishes, and this place is perfect to make me feel like if I were in my country. I highly recommend the “croquetas de espinacas”, “pulpo” and “secreto ibérico” if you like meat. They are my fav choices always. The prices should be lower… in my opinion. The restaurant is not very nice (talking about the decoration) and the location is not quiet good as you have nothing to do around and there is not tube station near. Sometimes they offer live Spanish music and the atmosphere is really nice. The staff is very friendly and lovely.
