Last night me and my family went to this restaurant milad 2 this restaurant was very lovely good food and good servers best Indian restaurant in Gravesend

Delivered in good time, arrived pipping hot,Fresh & tasty meal. Meat Thali is gorgeous, fresh popadoms & perfect rice! Will order again

Food was fantastic and more than I could comfortably eat for an extremely reasonable price. Service was very fast and nothing too much trouble for the proprietor and his assistant. Situated in an ideal spot for a quick meal. Could not fault the experience and will visit again when I am in the area.

We went to the Milaad today as a family to celebrate my in laws 45th Wedding Anniversary. We had the Sunday Buffet. The waiter was attentive & kind, the food was delicious & the price of the meal of was excellent. Thank you! We will be back!

Such a bad food unhygienic dirty food, got hair on my food and customer service was terrible the guy was so so aggressive and threatening. Jalfrizi was watery tasteless such a shame of this place. Never recommend anyone and don’t go anyone this place rip off.

I had indian before, and the original one in India, but the Milaad 2 meal I had with my girlfriend, because she has her takeaway from there quite often, she's tried to make me eat in there for ages, and we finally made it, and I have to say it was absolutely delicious!!! Fantastic food and great ambient! Beautiful! Will definetely go again!

Terrible! The order came two hours later than announced. The meals were stone cold and the items were missing. One of the dishes was missing. I also ordered meat and veg thali that includes naan and separately two garlic naan but they didn't bring them to me. This is bad service and this was the first and last order 😟😟

We have been to the restaurant quite a few time and had a great meal but last nights take away was shocking. We had been working all day and decided we wanted a take away and chose this. When it arrived I was shocked to see just how much the portion sizes had shrunk. My wife’s tandoori mixed grill used to come in a large foil container filled with chicken and lamb, this time it came in a shallow plastic tub with the meat sizes considerably smaller and for £14 was unbelievable I ordered the butter chicken which was very watery and contained 3 pieces of chicken for £10. It may be petty but even the popadoms where we used to get 3 we had 1.5 so someone took the time to break on in half. I called the restaurant to let them know only to be told it’s always been like that and someone would call me back but know one did. Poor food poor customer service.

I have been using Milaad for years, never a problem. Until now. Ordered a delivery which took 2 attempts as the person on the other end of the phone could not understand anything I said. Then when I did finally manage to order was told 45min to an hour. 1 hour 45 mins later it arrived stone cold and the main curry was missing. I phoned up and told get another delivery out within an hour....... I said absolutely not, what about the rest of my food. So they said well ring tomorrow and we will sort something out.... Again I said absolutely not how is that going to help me????? So I am now waiting to see how long my curry takes. This is bad service and such a shame as the food is amazing 😟😟

Terrible, usually OK but just Terrible. 2 pieces of lamb in the curry and lots of hard black bits (not a clue what it was). This is a place that would of once cared but has been going for so long they have lost all love for it. There's no effort put in and over spiced. My guts are going mental,, a good curry shouldn't do this not like this.

First time been out in ages, and I got pleasant surprise eating here, the food is amazing, the flavours was to die for, I def will be coming back again, best Indian resteraunt iv eaten in. Def score a 10 out 10 for me and my partner. Loved it

I don't like to give bad reviews, but this really wasn't great. I honestly think the chef was not in that night and they just got help from a mate. Alarm bells #1 - we were the only people in there all night, not a solitary person. They said that they had cancellations and we gave it benefit of the doubt. Starters - The kebab was nice, the king prawn butterfly was so thick with the batter it was coated in, we couldn't taste the actual prawn. Salad was slapped on and looks like it was cut with a butter knife. Mains - Butter Chicken - chicken was like frozen chicken, sauce was tasteless. Side - Sag Paneer - tasteless and unlike any other that we have ever eaten (we did get this for free as it was not brought with the mains). Mushroom rice - I could have done better myself to be honest. Naan was fine, despite being tiny. Drinks - ordered 3 different bottles of wine, none of which were in stock. Asked for it to be bagged and took it home to see if anyone else wanted it.

Since I moved to Gravesend I have tried almost every curry house I can. I have settled on Milaad 2 as my favourite. I particularly like their Chicken Tikka Vindaloo and Coconut rice. Their Sag Paneer is also tasty. They have friendly staff too. Definitely worth trying!

Ordered up a delivery took over a hour kept ringing saying on way When it arrive our food was cold

Went to Gravesend for a weekend. The empty restaurant on a Saturday night should have told me this was not good. Plenty of takeaway orders phoned in with the man repeating every digit of credit card number and CCV code. I could have made a fortune. Violently sick 2 mins after walking out, zero alcohol ended up leaving the hotel at 04.00 and driving 60miles home to my own toilet. Worst dining experience ever…

Not my bag - Nothing like the old takeaway used to be. Visited few months ago on the recommendation of a friend due to an "All You Can Eat" buffet offer available. I used to get a takeaway many years ago when they were in Milton St. and tbh I wished forgotten about them too! Booked a table online and arrived before everyone else. Felt like we were intruding once the staff arrived. Had to dodge the dirty table cloth and many wobbly seats even though they wasn't much choice. Once our friends arrived we were shocked to only have a few containers food available of what can only be described as leftovers, so not a lot of choice either! Chicken Tikka Pakora was tasty, once they came out fresh. Sorry but that's the first and last time we will be using the Milaad 2, as there are far better options than this place...2/5

Ate in the restaurant, service was awful. Not a single person in the restaurant on arrival including staff. No staff at bar, eventually got served by someone that did not normally work there. Was not given a menu for 20 minutes despite being the only people there. The other half is now throwing her guts up 6 hours later after eating the salmon curry. Possibly the worst restaurant i have ever visited. Shocking service and food poisoning all thrown in together. Avoid at all costs.

It used to genuinely be the very best place for an indian takeaway. Ordered over 2 hours ago and it never turned up. Tried to phone them for an hour on both numbers but got completely ignored. They still took my order and money though. Get your indian take away elsewhere, that way your actually get it.

Excellent evening. Served very well by a waiter who made us feel really special. Wide ranging menu and generous portions of beautifully cooked food.

The curry had spilt in the bag which meant the bag was swimming. The curry wasn’t edible and the poppadoms were soggy. Phoned up and they suggest I get a free curry next time which I said was no good, I had to request another one and got another delivery an hour later. Unfortunately the same thing had happened but not as bad so at least this one was edible. The driver was nothing but friendly and apologetic. Overall a disappointing experience.

We are regular customers at Milaad2 Gravesend and I can only say that they never seem to fail us. The food is always fresh, piping hot and delivered on time. What made our experience special this time was that we had requested for the food not to be too spicy or chilli, and the food was amazingly tastier and we had cleared up all the dishes that we forgot to take photos. Our favourite this time were the Hara Kebab, kofta kombi, Lamb Pasada, the Milaad special biriyani, Garlic King Prawn grill and our always must dish is the vegetable curry. The naan and chapti bread are always on our order. Besides the amazing tasty fresh food comes their quality service and friendly delivery. The owner is always smiling friendly professional and welcoming. Thank you to all Milaad 2 staff and chef at Gravesend. Thank you from your loyal customers on London.

We came as a family of 6. Service was brilliant and the food was even better! If you are going for a Indian in gravesend this is the place to go!

I ordered a delivery from this restaurant and was told that the food would be delivered within 30 minutes. After 30 minutes passed I telephoned to ask for an update. The woman who answered was rude and lied. She told me that my delivery was already on its way and then hung up on me. I telephoned back and a man answered. He said they were busy but the food was ready and coming now. 15 minutes later I called again and was told the driver was stuck at traffic lights. Eventually the food arrived an hour late, the delivery driver was the same man who was on the phone who told me that the delivery driver was stuck in traffic. Very poor customer service will not order from these people again.

Me and my family have been visiting this beautiful restraunt for a long time now. We don’t choose to eat anywhere else because the food from here is gorgeous and you can’t go wrong. The staff is lovely they never fail to put a smile on our faces. So cheap for such good food. Always so clean and just a lovely place to be.

The service this evening was absolutely shocking. We ordered via the Just Eat app, we received a notification to say the food was on its way, (30mins later it arrived), 15mins later than the latest estimated time. I called to find out if there was an issue. I was told it had left and be there soon. Eventually it arrived. The food packaging was damaged and sauce had leaked. The poppadoms were crushed and stale to taste. The food was warm and needed additional heating. We were missing three naan breads and the Lamb Rogan Josh we ordered was in fact chicken. When I called the line was busy, after about 15mins I decided to drive to the restaurant, the man behind the counter asked if he could help, I begun to say I had an issue with my order, only to be stopped so he could answer the phone. I attempted a second time for him to again answer the phone. When he spoke to me, he was disinterested, I asked for a refund, he told me to go via Just Eat. He was incredibly unhelpful, would not accept responsibility for his mess ups, he just repeated the calling of Just Eat, before walking away leaving me to try and contact Just Eat. He did not return for the duration of me trying to contact Just Eat. He showed zero respect for me as a customer, leaving me with little or no respect for him! When I said I would be leaving a review, he didn't seem to bothered, just kept saying it was Just Eat I needed to contact, he provided the wrong order, missed off the items I ordered, not Just Eat. I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but the poor service from the man, the lack of responsibility and the poor quality of food, means this negative review is truly warranted. Thank you Just Eat for acknowledging the service was poor and issuing me with the refund. I will not be ordering from your restaurant again!

I ordered takeaway and been told i was allowed to park at the back but when i came back to my car after picking up my order from this place i have realised my tire has been deflated. took family out for meal on sunday all you can eat and my 2 kids got charged a childs meal of £5.99 each, i know its not alot of money but when they never eat a thing apart from a little bit of poppadom and so confronted the owner who said they eat a poppadom thats why we charged you - i was disgusted, especially when u got to pay £1 each for a poppadum anyway, wont go back there again!! was also charged £11 for 3 cokes which was poured out from a coke bottle aswel!

I have been using this family run restaurant for over 25 years and they are so consistently good every time. Throughout lockdown they’ve managed to still deliver excellent food, excellent service and hold their company together and I’m so proud of them. They are a credit to our community in Gravesend. Their food is a very high standard and the service second to none. There is a lot of competition especially with new places opening but I will stick with the milaad 2 as I think they are excellent, they care and I think the world of them and love their food. Well done and thank you milaad 2

As a family we always visit milaad 2 when we fancy a curry. The prices are great, portions generous and tastes amazing. The boss and staff are always welcoming and treat us brilliantly. Would recommend here to anyone.

I've just had a meal at the Milad 2 in Gravesend with both of my Aunt's this evening.The food was amazing as it always has been when I've been there before, service was very good too as well and all the staff there are very friendly and helpful.Very good location as well if you are travelling into Gravesend on the train as the restaurant is a very short walk from the railway station.Would highly recommend the Milad 2 to anyone and I hope to be back soon.

Well where do I start. It's been 20 years or more. And I'm still visiting/ordering from here. So they must be doing something right. Curry is my favourite food, and no one seems to top them!! Brilliant relationship with the owners now, they do their best to get it right, and make sure that they get it spot on. Try them you wont be dissappointed.

Placed an order 2 hours ago for delivery.... still waiting.. was told it had left at 18.10.. yes they have told me they are busy.. twice I have been hung up on and been rudely spoken too.. never had a problem before... even had a young person tell me to to " call back later..." when I was chasing them to make a payment!!! Absolute joke tonight.... Still waiting... very unhappy customer!!! Food finally turned up at 7.55 only 2.5 hours after I ordered... food was cold... naans were wrong.. missing a rice and poppadoms were inedible... to top it off there is a long hair in the curry!!!! Disgusting... surprise surprise no answer when trying to call to send food back !!!

Had my second meal here with friends, the menu range is great with lots of unusual dishes I've never seen before. Really friendly and welcoming, the chef will cook any dish to your taste hotter or milder.Very reasonably priced and nice beer on tap from the bar.Recommend this restaurant if you've got a celebration or birthday as it's nicely spaced with tables and nice interior.

This is a lovely place - I use it for both takeaway and restaurant. Lovely traditional meals - fantasy recommendations. I liken to try new things when I eat out and there is always something different to try here. The service is amazing - they really go out of their way to make to welcome and nothing is too much for them. Faultless. The place really deserves to be busier than it is. Although I love that it isn’t too busy and you can relax and enjoy your meal.

I head into Milaad at least twice a month after work. I always use as my go to takeaway if at weekends too.Nicest welcome, nicest people and amazing tasty freshly cooked food that will always be tailored to how you want it. I highly recommend and would give 6 stars out of 5.

This was our first time here. He staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The service was impeccable and the food is incredible. They went above and beyond to make our dinner perfect. They even took the time to take a family photo for us. We will frequent this place often!
