Came with a group of 18 people, great service and everyone loved the food. Defo recommend and will be coming back.

Myself and my partner Vic would never go anywhere different. Food always perfect. Noor and staff are always extremely hospital, polite and helpful.

We had a flyer put in the door so thought we would try this restaurant for the first time! UBig mistake!! This was for a Takeaway which in my case was the worst meal I have had in years. The portion size was smaller than I usually experience and the supposed King Prawns, about four, were minute ! The rest of the meal looked like onion slop. Photo attached, we ordered by phone to be told it would be 45 mins, this turned out to be an hour and five minutes! When we mentioned this when delivered we were told in no uncertain tones “ I don’t do complaints” Not at all recommended and we have eaten of lot of Indian meals and can judge fairly

Every time me and my partner visit the Indian Lounge, it never disappoints! Best Indian food in the area and always a friendly service. The staff are always welcoming even when I decide to collect a takeaway. Highly recommend.

Disappointing Tarka dhal , sag paneer chicken tikka flavour wise was bland missed the layering of spices one should taste with these dishes Cooked catering to British palates Instead of being true to the cuisine

Worst curry I've ever had was awful me and my daughter had upset tummys after eating this 1st time eating from this takeaway restaurant curry's and chicken uncooked everything else tasted as if it was re cooked and stale

Awful food The Indian up on the parade further up is much better Food here disgusting, worse Indian I have ever eaten let alone my daughter and granddaughter have been up all night with diarrhoea from this awful place , I will be reporting this restaurant

Had take away and I can only say do not use this place , I have never had Indian tasting so bad over 1 hr wait for delivery and to receive such awful tasting food

Ordered a takeaway last night - l’m not sure how it’s an award winning restaurant if last nights meal was anything to go by. Worst curry l have ever had - maybe it was an off night/different chef but l won’t be risking ordering again from there.

Excellent food and service, I had the most delicious meal (chicken mango delight) cannot wait to go back! nice quiet relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Onion bhajis..dry and flavourless Poppadoms...old and not crispy Balti chicken..was like eating a bad school dinner. Service poor at best I went to toilet going through other part of restaurant where the waiters were eating ..which would explain aforementioned poor service as staff were too busy having a meal to bother with customers I have enjoyed countless curries in many places including the India Palace but last night's meal rates as the worst ever curry I have ever had..maybe I was just unfortunate and they were having an off day but I will not be returning to find out.

Food is fabulous. Cocktails were delicious. Service is a little slow and you order one course at a time but it means lots of time for talking and there's not rushed feel. Will try the delivery option next, might be our new Indian option.

Excellent customer service from the minute we walked through the door despite not having a reservation. The food was delicious and nicely presented. We will definitely eat there again.

Items were missing from our order, when I called i was promised the missing items in 15 minutes which didn't happen. Called back 45 mins later to be told it would be sent within 15 mins again!! An hour and a half after the delivery the missing items did not arrive!! Gave up and ate the food I had after having to reheat.

The food and the music was amazing 🤩 the staff are very nice 😊 it was very cozy and warm ☺️ I ordered a chicken korma it was out of this world

Really not happy delivery driver is very rude. And expected no changed to be given to me and when I asked for it he said ohh you want your 1 pound change when it was definitely more. Felt very belittled. And when I made an order to be delivered before I was charged 5 pound more from the same driver. I don’t mind leaving a tip but not when it’s expected Thanks Kurtis

Had a lovely curry served by nice people.

The three takeaway dishes we had were equally really, really nice. The naan was fluffy and tasty. Nothing to complain about.

We have been coming here and having takeaways for many years. We live within a 5-minute walk of another Indian restaurant which is well established and has good reviews but we always go the extra mile and use the India Palace because they are consistently excellent in their food and service. Staff have changed over the past 20 years yet have always been polite and respectful. We went there for the first time for ages last night and had an excellent meal. The place is spotlessly clean. Food freshly made. We highly recommend them

Good food and service, far better than Longfield's Sher-E-Bangla! All I'd say is to sort the leaflets out as it severely lets the side down and questions professionalism, as the spelling is so whacky it's as if there was a bet on to see what they could get away with. It can't all be predictive text... Newash Green, Nortfleet, Istead Rice, Weast Kingsdom, and Wortham Health. And this is just the front page! I rest my case.

Always friendly always helpful with the menu if your up for something different from your usual. Food excellent. Everything I could hope for in a local business. Top restaurant!

Lovel foid but the butter chicken was loke a korma and was very sweet

Below average for a curry, very disappointing but feels a hunger crave. Uses frozen vegetables in the vegetable curry that goes with the biryan, lazy cooking! I have lived in the Middle East and been to Indian a lot so my standards and palate are high. Only order when desperate, when there's nothing else!

Always lovely food and friendly staff

Went on the recommendation of a friend. The meal was good and the service excellent, unfortunately the food all tasted the same and bland compared to other restaurants locally. The same basic sauce was used and extras added to make the curry as ordered. We will not be returning in a hurry

Didn't do the option of booking a table and then legging it shortly after but a take away and portions were shocking Chicken Vindaloo - 5 pieces of chicken less than 100 Grams and 2 pieces of Spud for 7.95. Avoid to be honest , response from Management was dire

Tasty and fresh meal. Covid safety procedures in place. Shame the air con isn’t working but staff tries hard to cool the restaurant with fans. We were so hot we left straight after our main as needed to get out. So you may want to check the air con is fixed before booking.

Food as lovely as ever, but also we thought the Covid precautions were very well done and we felt very safe. Staff had masks and gloves on and never at any time leant over us. A few other restaurants we have been to didn't do this. Tables very well spaced considering how small the restaurant is. Well done to all the staff.

Great food as always only a shame it had to be takeaway rather than sat in the restaurant. Hot and fresh tasting chicken tikka dhansak was very good and loads of it !! Would recommend

Me and my family went into this restaurant we enjoyed it so much the food and the service was amazing one the best that we ever had I will recommend this restaurant to my friends and relatives and we will be back again...

Thought we would give this restaurant one more try as we have had bad experiences here in the past but as it was under new management, we thought we would try again. My husband phone the day before and booked a table for six of us at 9.00 p.m. but when we arrived the waiter said he had no reservation. He didn't even try to help. we saw some friends in there who told us they had been waiting 2hrs for their food. The waiter told us that they hadn't been waiting that long and had only just ordered their food - so our friends lied to us? I don't think so!. Eventually they sat us at a table for four and added one extra chair on the end and said they would find another chair but there was absolutely no room for any plates, glasses or food, There was another big table next to us who told us they had been in the restaurant since 7.30 and had only just got their food - this as about 9.15! they had had to send their starters back as they were cold and the food when it came was not very good. The waiter made no attempt to apologise or even offer to get us drinks. The waiters were hurried and unorganised and buzzing around with food trying to serve people but getting muddled. One waiter whispered to my husband that they were actually running about 11/2 - 2 hrs behind on all orders. we made the decision to leave and they didn't even bother to try to stop us or apologise. We will not be returning

Absolutely awful New Year's Eve service and food. Table was booked for 8.30 we arrived at 8.20 and were totally ignored for the first 5 minutes... then shown to a table in the corner which was not laid up. The staff laid it whilst we squeezed in and sat down. Waited for another 10 minutes before being offered popadoms, then a further 10 minutes before being offered drinks. After an hour we got menus from the table next to us and finally ordered our food. This then took another hour before it arrived. My lamb was Luke warm, the rice acompliment never materialised. My wife had a chicken omelette which had more peas than chicken and come with approx 16 chips I would serve more than this to a child! We should have done like others and sent the food back, but have heard stories about food being reheated and returned with "nasties" in We finally got the bill and left at 11.20 had it not been New Year's Eve when we knew we would not get food anywhere else locally we would have most definitely walked out. DO NOT go here if you like piping hot food and good service.

Love to go to this place over all the others in the area but tonight - what the hell happened! Was served raw chicken , not Rare or warm- RAW, waiter took it away and then came back fifteen mins later with prawn that we were also a bit wary about , but by then everyone else has finished and it’s time to go. Service was slow when it happened, seemed like the two waiters Didn't have a clue what to do. Then tried to charge me for the meal he took away , when I complained he said he thought it has been taken off the bill “”Hello- there’s only two of you here and ones you”? Real shame as always liked it here but I’ll give it a miss from now on !

We were a party of 12 just ahead of Christmas Day and to be fair we eat here as a group very 4/5 months or so. The service was excellent and the food was very nice indeed. We all had poppadum and starter as well as a main course and it was good to see that size of the servings were the perfect size so not much waste at all but more than enough to go on the plate. At then end of the meal they very kindly opened 2 bottles of Asti as our complimentary drink of the evening! A great vening with friends !

Fish was stale and was stinking. Garlic fish chilli masala had no other masala than red chilli powder and green chillis. Cashew saag aloo korma was sweet like pudding. All the food we ordered was terrible.

Spur of the moment Friday night with friends, service was good, food very nice, the red wine could have been a bit warmer it was ice cold, but rectified by the waiter. The restaurant itself was a bit on the cold side, minor niggles to an otherwise good night.

I always enjoyed my meals at the India Palace and found all the staff to be very friendly.I'm glad to say that this has not changed and the future seems secure!We went on a Sunday which is a Banquet night and had a very tasty meal delivered by our friendly waiter, Naz The new Chef is clearly very good indeed and the manager keeps a very personal eye on proceedings ensuring that all is going to plan.I'm pleased that I have this as my local and thousands of commuters leaving the station to the wonderful aromas must wonder if they should not pause a while on their way home.

Ordered takeaway for delivery twice now and cannot fault them. Great food, quick delivery and great customer service.

Very disappointed !!! We used to use this indian a lot but since have been using Kohinoor at istead rise (which is great) . We thought we would try India Palace as they deliver to us and Kohinoor dont . The delivery turned up and hour and half late ! The food was squashed, korma sauce and bombay potato sauce everywhere, food was cold , the chicken was very pink, poppadoms stale and customer service when called to complain was awful !!!! Will not be using again !! AVOID !!!!!

Booked a table, got to the restaurant on time, we were greeted by miserable person well not actually greeted it came across as “what are you doing here!”Waited for at least 10 minutes before we were given any menus We ordered 4 popadoms only got 2 both of which were wet and seemed stale - not the normal crunch you get! Waited a further 20 minutes before our order was takenAfter an hour we were asked if we wanted another drink to which we asked where our food was as we had been waiting for so long, about 5 minutes later our food arrived the tikka masala was more like a korma the sag aloo was luke warm & garlic naans weren’t garlicky. Won’t be returning

The spraying of cheap toilet air freshener throughout the restaurant I thought was a nice touch 🤔. Stale day old poppadoms refried, as the waiter looked on to see if they would pass off first time. Naan could of passed for a discus replacement! Main was warm and not the best by far. Safe to say I won’t be rushing back. Restaurant needs a good shack up as quality was very poor. Only way is up though right! I hope the restaurant read this as this is my first 1 star and customers should be receiving better

Have eaten here for many years today we ate there it was alwful today the chicken tika masala was so sweet it was unbearable the lamb puree was chewy the rice was ok keena nann was meatless with not be eating there again

This is our very local Indian so its where I book a group of us into about 4 times a year. This time the whole place looked brigther and more welcoming ( not that it has been bad in the past!). There were 10 of us and we had poppadoms, starters, main courses and a few had desserts and coffee. All of the food was very fresh, very tasty and hot. The guys serving us were on the ball, helpful, friendly and did very well considering that the place was busy. We all had a lovely time and were pleasantly surprised at the cost ( circa £30 per head including plenty of Cobra beers). It seems to me that the food has stepped up a notch as has the ambiance so I very happily recommend this place. To note we were there on a Friday night but of you come on a Wednesday evening you get a set price menu which is really very good value.

This is quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. We had a large party for a birthday and felt initially like the waiting staff had it all under control with promptly taking orders. After we received our starters, the meal went down hill. I found a hair in my starter to which the waiter, shrugged his shoulders and walked away. The manager later argued this, after I'd stated there was hair in my food with, 'No, there was only hair in your starter'.. ONLY?!

Ordered a takeaway, the chicken tikka was pink inside clearly not cooked. Phoned to ask for a refund on that one chicken tikka, with picture evidence. Manager refused and insisted we drove 20 minutes back to show him in person. Awful customer service.

We visited tonight for mum's birthday meal, with me and my sister, after a long afternoon in London. They catered for 2 gluten free people and me as a vegetarian with specific food allergies.

Had a take-away from here a couple of weeks ago. Food was OK, nothing special, but my wife was then taken ill with food poisoning for two days. I would recommend that you avoid this place - from other reviews we are not the only ones to have suffered.

Visited on Saturday 5th Jan. This has always been an excellent restaurant, but with new manager Ali and his new chef it's even better. Good waiting staff and excellent food.

We called ahead to check availability as it was NYE and were told that they could accommodate us but we’d need to be finished by 9pm. We thought this would be fine seeing as it was 7.10pm and we were only 5 minutes away. How wrong could we be? Waited well over an hour for our food, other tables were having to ask to order. One customer for take away came in not long after us and was still waiting an hour and fifteen minutes later. The only saving grace was the food was nice

This restaurant tick all the boxes for me food was absolutely delicious and services was excellent waiters are so helpful they certainly know what dish will fullfill your taste amazing.

Been using India palace for 17 years always had good food had a takeaway tonight 15 December it was a awful meal I called to ask if they were under new management they said no at the end of my conversation they admitted they were under New management why lie they have lost me as a customer

The place is going down hill very fast. It was empty. The new manager is losing customers at a fast rate. He offers a banquet at £15 to try to attract new people, then lies about what he"s offered and adds on extras to your bill. CHECK BILL!

Just had a takeaway from India Palace got to say maybe the worst curry I always have pathie and there was no sweet and hot flavoured with it I thought it might be me but my son had a butter chicken and said that it was waterrey and no taste his girlfriend had tika massalie and said worst she had my husband said his was tasteless as I was looking for a Indian meal for my birthday I won't be using this one

Delivery - told us 45 mins, took 1 hour 20, turned up cold, when we called to ask they was rude when said it was an £100 order was told yeah well we have loads of £100 orders and we have ordered from here once a week for over a year
