Beautifully prepared food, it was very quiet and we did wait some time for the food, but as the chef said each meal is prepared fresh and it was well work the wait. Excellent

We stopped here for breakfast today. Really friendly staff and a super couple of breakfasts with gorgeous artisan toast. Best vegetarian breakfast I’ve had locally with avocado, egg, mushrooms, tomato, beans, mushrooms and halloumi. Bear in mind seating is outside so wrap up warm. The farm shop is definitely worth a look too.

Stopped off for breakfast. Good value meal, cooked to order, so expect to wait a little longer than at those restaurants that are pre parking. Cooked to perfection. Also a well stocked farm shop with artisan breads. Make sure you try the shortbread. Delicious!

Lovely friendly cafe staff and after relaxation, coffee, tea cake and time spent with a friend had a walk around the shop. A lovely full range of produce, lovely tasty steak and stilton pie. So much to choose from.

We were warmly welcomed and chose quinoa patties with goats cheese, pesto snd salad and caesar salad which was supposed to be with smoked chicken but they'd run out so was offered smoked salmon instead. Both very tasty and fitting for a summer menu. Very slow to be served...not quite sure why but we weren't in a rush thankfully and were able to browse the farm shop and art work whilst waiting. The homemade quince and apple juice was amazing. We had delicious hummingbird (pineapple fruit nuts) cake with coffee for afters..but could have chosen any of the delicious looking homemade cakes. Service was pleasant throughout but possibly a mention regarding the wait on food would have been good. However very happy to return both to the shop and the cafe.

It was a wet and windy day and we fancied warming soup..we ordered this followed by a main course. This was a mistske as it was too much but nonetheless delicious. The soup flavours were unusual but so tasty. I then had goats cheese and beetroot salad which was beautifully fresh and my other half had a spanish stew which was declared to be delicious. We wanted to try the polish apple cake but we will have to wait till next time for obvious reasons. The lady serving was so friendly and hardworking. This is a lovely farmshop with a great range of produce. Happy to return...just wont be so piggy next time!

Great little place for coffee, snacks and light lunches. Everything freshly prepared, so service sometimes slowish. Friendly owner and staff. Slightly spartan farmshop setting adds to charm. Location on map is wrong, Farmshop is 200-300 metres further north. Now known as Reckford Roost.

Visiting this mini restaurant/café/food store has become a firm favourite for my friend & I. The menu isn't long, but there's always something tasty, with the choices changing daily. They serve the sort of salad accompaniments that you can't be bothered to make yourself; bread that's so good, you don't feel bad for eating it; a wide range of coffees & home made cakes...I could go on. You can buy the produce that your meal was made from. Now officially called the 'Reckford Roost', it's still known locally as the Middleton Farm Shop. The staff are more than happy to help and will tailor food as far as they can to particular food allergies. This afternoon's asparagus frittata followed by gooseberry tart were sublime.

Excellent place for local produce, small café. Unfortunately for us the asparagus was late this year due to the cold weather !

We have visited a couple of times just for coffee which was the best latte that I have possibly had! We noticed they served food and returned for breakfast. It's only a little cafe with one woman working there who was so lovely and friendly but was running the shop too so it took a little while to cook. When the food came it was delicious and well worth any wait!! I would certainly recommend it!! The shop which makes up part of the cafe sells only local produce mainly coming from the local farm I presume. The tomatoes and strawberries that we purchased were so tasty and I strongly believe you can't beat local grown fruit and veg! No substitute!! Highly worth a visit of you can find it or are lucky enough to stumble across it as we did!! Very lucky indeed!

This is primarily a shop but the cafe is well worth a visit for breakfast or lunch even if you don't want any fruit or veg or meat or tracklements (but I bet you'll succumb). Delicious small menu and lovely service. Today we had a brunch - perfect porridge topped with honey and walnuts and a filled sourdough bap. We may not eat again for the rest of the day. About the shop: if you're looking for bananas, citrus fruit, dessert grapes and exotic fruit and veg from far away you won't find them here. But if you want delicious very local produce look no further. It's autumn as I write this and I have just bought lots of varieties of apples which I haven't seen in any of the other local farm shops, because the farm surrounding the cafe grows them and they are considerably cheaper per kilo. Bread? Martin (baker of Martin's bread) lives nearby, gets his flour ground at Woodbridge Tide Mill and has appeared on the telly with Mel, Sue, Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood. Perfect.

Sorry to say it was the worst breakfast I've had in the cafe. But if I pay £15.10 for coffee and full English I expect the highest standards. Bacan was so bad I couldn't even eat it. The picture says it all. Who would serve a customer food that looks like that. Lovely staff but all they did was apologised for the drop in standards.

We always come for a walk to the dip when visiting family , a great spot to sit and have coffee and cake and look out to sea , today I had one of the homemade cheese scones it was one of the best I have ever eaten , whatever the weather always a great establishment for a warm welcome and delicious fair, great ice creams in the summer and hot chocolate in the winter .
