Great Food, excellent service and very welcoming. Arrived for a relaxing Sunday Lunch time and would have no reservations in booking again.

Another great visit again, steaks great quality cooked on your own stone, super service as always, great wine selection and a super new very reasonably priced Lunch menu if you prefer this to the full menu. Can't recommend enough

4 of us booked and ate at this restaurant. Unfortunately we ordered the steak in sauce which should have been served with vegetables and chips. Alas no chips were served it wasn't until I looked up the menu online and discovered we had been missed with the no show of chips. An expensive meal for a few slices of steak with peas and carrots.

We were a party of 5, pre booked due to event weekend, had a nice chat prior comfrming booking with the lady who runs the place . Had a great welcome, great service and food, very good, suited all members of the party, we felt like very valued customers even though it was our 1st visit, will return again at next year's event

We have eaten here a few times and always enjoyed the food. I have always enjoyed their chicken skewers but this time they didn’t come hanging they were just cut up on the plate, they did not drizzle the garlic butter over them. Said they stopped doing that after Covid, however I have been there since Covid? They came with a limp side of lettuce and fries. No longer do homemade chips.

Amazing freshly made tomato sauce the Arancini was delicious. Service was quick and professional. Latte was really pretty.

Really wanted to like this place but 2 parts of our order were wrong and the steak was overdone.

Excellent menu and superb staff. Great selection of Italian do Portuguese dishes. The Portuguese potato bread, sardines starter and fish soup (sharing main) were absolutely delicious. The Portuguese white wine was gorgeous. I will definitely come back and would absolutely recommend.

Best pizza I have had in the UK!!!

Went for a 40th Birthday with 40 people, so a large crowd to cater for, the staff were amazing, friendly, helpful, always smiling. The food was great and perfectly timed. Thank you to all the staff for making a great occasion go so smoothly it was the perfect place for a special event

We were in Cardiff for the Foo Fighters concert and spotted this place whilst in the Brewery Quarter. Great location and atmosphere, super friendly staff, and the food was really delicious. We were so impressed we went back the next day! If we are ever in Cardiff again, this will be our go-to place.

One of the best pizzas we've had in Cardiff! The drinks were good, especially the house red, which was of great quality. When I asked to use the toilet, the staff mistook me for a random person off the street (Not sure if he was joking when I asked where is the toilet😂)! But then he gave me free shots as an apology which was very cute. We will definitely go back again, it’s worth trying!

I was walking by and couldn't decide what I wanted to eat. Then I saw someone enjoying something that looked really delicious, so I decided to order the same thing. I wasn't disappointed! It's a beautiful place, and the customer service is exceptional - 10 out of 10. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh ingredients and great hospitality. Best lasagna I’ve ever eaten, service was good, overall great experience

Wow excellent service, food, cocktails and atmosphere. Thanks to Craig for referring his group of “Inspector Ladies” to this delicious culinary delight. Maria and Giudiano were attentive and amusing. We had the stone fillet (or fil-ay) as we call it, which comes rare and continues to cook as you slice and sear it to your liking, the mussels, sardines, mushrooms, garlic bread and all were scrumptious. Thanks to Jog (sp?) as well for his wonderful establishment and a fun evening.

First visit here and booked because the reviews were good . Came with 2 friends to celebrate my birthday of a friday evening. we chose to sit inside as it was very noisy outside (noise from other establishments). Couldn't fault the service or the food. Would definitely go back and would recommend it. The other thing I would advise is to take cash, we were told this before we went, and it did say on the bill, they prefer to be paid with cash.

Called in for lunch, service was excellent, food was superb, lovely atmosphere. Looking forward to next visit.

So glad I found this place for lunch before the rugby match at Cardiff Principality Stadium. The restaurant is only a short walk away from there. They were serving an "Events Menu" which was a 3 course meal, but there was still a choice between 5 starters and 5 main courses. My starter was very good but the fillet steak I had (served on a hot stone) was amazing, melt in the mouth it was so tender, and very tasty. I think it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. It was a large portion too, served with proper, homemade chips and not thrice cooked soggy, chunky chips! I had the steak with peppercorn sauce which was also excellent. One friend had the chicken espetada skewer which was a very large serving of beautifully cooked chicken and someone else had the seafood linguine which they said was good and very nicely spiced. Dessert was I think a homemade nata with a lemoncello on the side. I've had a few natas in my time, but I think this one had the best custard ever with a good, deep custard - delicious. Despite the fact that they were so very busy, service was very quick, efficient, attentive and extremely friendly - as they said, a family restaurant. This shows in their care, attention and friendliness. The woman owner/manageress even remembered me from our telephone conversation 2 weeks previously when I phoned to book!! I will definitely be sure to come again when next in Cardiff, but not on a match day, so I can sample their full menu. It was a real gem of a find and I would highly recommend. I checked other reviews before booking and this restaurant definitely deserves the excellent reviews which it enjoys. Thank you, and I very much look forward to coming back.

Went before the Wales-France game and booked for the event menu. Absolutely fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, willing to work around our change in party due to a recent passing. Along with this, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were okay and supported our needs beyond what is expected. The food was delicious but not too big. We had the skewers (which we've had before) the steak that came on a hot plate so you could control how cooked it was, and the build-your-own pizza. Our drinks were in plastic cups but this is to be expected on game day. We recommend this to anyone fancying something authentic in Cardiff both on game day and not. We will be back!

Beware of set menu without price. After the rugby match we were charged £45 for a set menu which was nothing special. It’s the only menu available and there is no price on the menu card given to you. I had mushrooms to start, pizza for main and a tiny nata served on a serviette for dessert. Ask for the price of the set menu. Don’t make the same mistake as we did. It’s a shame there are places like this in Cardiff.

Whilst visiting Cardiff we booked a table for Friday evening upon a friends recommendation. The restaurant is small and has a cosy atmosphere. We were made very welcome upon arrival. The food was amazing. 10 out of 10 to the chef. The service was good and we chatted with the hosts. Will definitely go back again next time we visit Cardiff.

In the centre of Cardiff, old brewery quarter so super convenient to stroll to for an early dinner. Great Portuguese/Italian menu, 2 of my favourite European destinations so spoilt for choice! Firstly an Aperol made as in Italy was a great start. Shared a garlic pizza really was one for the garlic lovers, seafood linguine with real depth of flavour, chicken and steak skewers both really tender and efficient friendly service. Nothing not to like about this restaurant.

I can't give enough praise to this place, we went on a busy Saturday, we hadn't booked and we had a large pram and needed a high chair, an they could not be more accommodating to us. They constantly made efforts to come and see the children and even entertained them. The food was fantastic, all clearly cooked from fresh and had that real authentic family run restaurant vibe, will be going back for sure.

Travelled to Cardiff recently for my hen weekend with 14 friends and was struggling to find a restaurant for one evening that didn't insist that we chose from a set menu. Really glad I found this place as we all had a lovely meal. We were able to choose from an extensive menu and the staff were all friendly and attentive. Communication was good before hand and we sent in a pre order which meant as a large party, we didn't have to wait long for our food either. Everyone really enjoyed and a few friends have already mentioned that they will return, as they struggled to choose what to eat and want to try more dishes on the menu!

We enjoy this restaurant, always find it cosy, extremely friendly service and we find the varied Portuguese/Italian menu, more than enough, to satisfy our needs. The food has always been cooked and served really well. No hesitation, if visiting Cardiff, to phone a reservation, to be sure of being having a meal there. Unfortunately we don't visit Cardiff enough. Waiting for an excuse to visit again.

Fantastic food, wine and service as always. They have introduced some lovely specials which is great for us regular customers. Deserts are to die for. We had a starter and a main each and all the food was amazing. The restaurant was not busy at all and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again.

Went Friday 5th January for my Son’s Birthday, I’m a hard to please Chef myself but everything from starter to dessert was amazing, the garlic mushroom starter was perfectly cooked & seasoned as was the carbonara & the cheesecake literally melted in the mouth. The staff were friendly & attentive, nothing was too much trouble and there was a great Friday night atmosphere. We will definitely be back!!

After my last visit here with my wife and having an amazing time. My work colleagues and I decided to pay a visit in the new year. We had a warm welcome when we arrived the lady who served us last time remembered me (not sure if that's a good thing ) but all the same it was nice and made me and friends very welcome. 4 of us had the steak on the stone and the other for had the kebabs with pepper sauce. All the staff were extremely friendly towards us even though after a few glasses of vino and we were all a but merry they made our night. We said we would like to give our compliments to the chef and he came down and thanked us for our comments which was really nice. I still say this is a little gem. We have already booked end of January for my daughters 21st birthday and look forward to hopefully seeing all the same faces. Thanks again Mia Porto duo for making our visit so special xxx

Read the reviews, which helped me to dine out for my anniversary meal on 2nd January, the staff was very welcoming and friendly, but I’m so , so disappointed with my meal I received, salad was brown like it has been there for days, I picked my favourite fillet steak don’t go there it was all fat couldn’t even cut it cheap of the shelf, garlic bread with mozzarella, no garlic or mozzarella just cheese slapped on the top tasteless, 2 side orders of different sauce no taste absolutely shocking meal don’t recommend it , the place was dead just me and my husband there so no excuse for the poor standard , quality of food served, avoid this place .

Main meal a spaghetti dish wasn’t to my taste but the Pastel de nata with ice cream was delicious.

I ate the best lasagna of my life here. The staff and the ambience were great 👍🏻 If you are in Cardiff you should definitely stop by here

I went to restaurant once we had finished our Christmas shopping. It was busy which is to be expected at this time of year but we received a very warm and friendly welcome. We were shown our seats and the service was good, we weren’t pressured we were left alone to enjoy the atmosphere and relax. The food was great and excellent value for money. Would definitely go back again.

Went for lunch, did not have a booking but was given a ta le after a short wait. Our waiter was extremely friendly. I think her name was Maria. Although the restaurant was busy the service was fantastic and the food was incredible. I had the Espetada which was delicious. I will definitely be back in the new year. If you haven't been yet then make sure you go and give this hidden gem a try.

We recently visited this delightful family run restaurant in the heart of Cardiff. We caught the train there, which was a short walk to the restaurant. Located in the busy Brewery Quarter just off St Mary Street in the City Centre Small and intimate inside with a lovely atmosphere , a well stocked bar and there is also a comfortable seating area outside Meals are delicious and freshly prepared on site with prices not being over expensive Steaks cooked on a stone are super delicious ! Sooooo.....Booked a table and they didn't reserve one for us. Eventually, just set ourselves up outside. Over one hour for food to arrive and replacement drinks we had to go to the bar to remind them. Staff were amazing.....But something was so wrong. We won't be back.

Had a lovely dinner at Mia Porto Due, our server was T (not sure if the spelling) who did a great job of taking care of us. We enjoyed a couple drinks, olives and shared a pizza. The menu was quite large and we will return to have a full meal at a later date. Everyone was very friendly, and the restaurant was comfortable and offered outdoor seating.

We came on a very busy Saturday so there was a little bit of a wait for food, but the food was very tasty and Giuliano was excellent and made sure we were looked after and gave a great recommendation for desert - the torta...

We came in on a Sunday night during a Wales rugby game so the restaurant was empty. We initially thought we would try somewhere else but we are SO glad we stayed. Our waiter (Guiliano) was incredible, really going above and beyond to make our night special. The food was amazing and Guliano couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely visit again. This is the only independent restaurant in this quarter and definitley worth a visit !

Well what can I say, This restaurant was everything myself and my partner were looking for. Absolutely gorgeous restaurant and the food was out of this world. I had the mixed skewer which was so perfectly juicy and was on a hanging skewer. The chips were sensational and got all my taste buds tingling with delight. Would highly recommend and will visit again when I'm back in Cardiff 💕

Great food and service. Loved the jug of prosecco sangria. We had bolo de caco and calamari starters with the chefs marinated lamb espetada (hanging skewers) and bifhinos as mains. Great meal with no complaints, glad we found it!

Amazing find, tucked away in the old brewery quarter. Plenty of atmosphere sat outside on the terrace whilst eating soaking up the atmosphere of the 3 very busy bars surrounding it. Food was prompt and very reasonably priced, whilst also being delicious. Highly recommend.
