Mezzom Restaurant in Redbridge

I am very happy with complimemtary starters and baklava that come with delicious iskender. The service is gine too.

Staff walk around amlusely looking like they have no idea what’s going on no idea about customer service as they were all so rude and it took us to get up their attention to take our order. We ordered starters and they bring out complimentary starters too without telling you they bring out all these platters of food that looks like they are just trying to get rid of it did not look appealing and was not what we wanted ! Mains were standard but plate display also looked as though the food was just chucked onto the plate . Lastly it took half an hour for us to get the waiter to bring our bill before they then bring out 5 plates of complimentary baklava which was not needed . We then couldn’t bare to wait any longer so got up to pay for our food which is unacceptable poor service. Never returning and defo don’t recommend

Yet another Turkish restaurant started off great but went downhill fast. Portion were to extravagant to begin with and customer satisfaction was high but it looks as if profits went down as the location has now closed

Came to the resturant today and ordered a mixes fish grill... first i thought I had been hard done by as every single piece of fish on the mixed grill was only salmon and there was a king size shrimp... I started eating and realised the food was cold but thought nothing of it... i left the fully shelled shrimp till the end...however when i took some of the shell off the shrimp smelt off and it was all rotten and looked grey hard and with an awful smell... i did not eat it and paid and left... when I reached my next venue my stomach went and had continuos loose motion it was embarrasing and painful at the same time. The restaurant shd get investigated asap

This restaurant used to be called Mezopotamia - it was pretty good back then. I ate here the other night with my partner and was disappointed by how it's changed for the worse. - The food was okay, but both our meals were supposed to come with salads which never came. - As a starter I ordered a prawn and avocado salad, the waiter brought out a salad without prawns, and then attempted to convince me that was how it was supposed to be. He actually picked up the menu, and pointed to where it said "prawn & avocado" with his thumb covering the word prawn, which was just bizarre. When I pointed this out, he then said he'd get prawns for the salad. The prawns never came, and at the end of our meal he told me they were out of prawns. I probably wouldn't have minded if he'd just told me earlier, but throughout the whole experience his attitude made me feel like I was somehow being difficult. - Finally when we left the staff just didn't seem that enthusiastic. Previously when we visited they were very friendly, but now it just felt like there was no interest in the experience we were having during or after the meal. It put a bit of a damper on the rest of the evening, which had been great up to that point. In summary, I wouldn't recommend it, it seemed pretty empty and I can honestly understand why. It's a shame - it used to be a really nice restaurant. Also, we were one of about four tables there, so there's really no excuse for the service if they weren't busy.

Came with a few friends for lunch and it was beautiful, the food didn’t take too long and the service as great.

We took my disabled mother to the restaurant for Mother's Day. We had booked a table for 2.30 pm for 3 of us - there was a whole kerfuffle while they tried to find us a table, which they did, during which time we spoke to a party of 11 who had booked for 2pm and had been waiting for half an hour and not table. Once seated, we waited again for our order to be taken, which it was at around 3pm. My husband was not hungry and ordered two starters, my mother and I ordered grilled salmon, mashed potato and vegetables. We ordered some drinks which did arrive. By around 3.30 we still had no food and asked what was happening. They said the food was 'on its way'. They then arrived with calamari for my husband, which was not what he had ordered. At 3.45, still no food and we got up to leave, disgusted. At this point, our waiter approached us with two plates of so-called food - a piece of salmon burnt to a cinder on each plate, with a bit of rice... completely unappetising and probably uneatable. The restaurant cannot cope with the number of bookings it takes, it was complete and utter chaos, other people were getting the wrong orders served and badly presented. We left hungry. We think the restaurant is under new management- it needs someone who can run it properly and chefs who know how to cook. Awful

We booked a table for 7-30pm on arrival our table was occupied so had to wait 20 min for table to be vacated, we then had to wait to get served as there were not enough staff to cater for the full restaurant..Food was not good I has a sea bass which was not large was overcooked and the vegetables where cold. The manager was helpful but as stated did not have enough staff and the chefs need training on how to cook the food.
