Meze Turkish Mediterranean & Grill in Cannock Chase

We had a fantastic family birthday dinner at this authentic Turkish restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious—so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for a special celebration. We brought our own cake, and the staff were very accommodating. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a true taste of Turkey!

Not impressed at all! Not only does it only have a 2 star food hygiene rating but the service is terrible and the food is bland. Waited 20 mins to order our food and another hour for it to arrive. The majority of the waiting on staff cannot speak English. I had to ask 3 members of staff if my food could be heated up as it was barely warm! We only had 2 rounds of drinks as understaffed. Needless to say I won't revisit.

First time visiting this absolute gem of a place. The choice on the menu was just enough and not overwhelming. The place was fully booked with people coming in waiting for tables which is always a good sign of how good the place is in my opinion. The food was amazing and freshly cooked so you may have a bit of a wait which we don't mind as it is not rushed to get you in and out. I think it is the first time in ages where I can't wait to go back again and again and again

This is my 3rd time at meze and the most disappointing, I had booked a table for 6 of us to dine in at 8 o’clock, we arrived on time only to be told there was not a table available for at least 20 minutes, we went back to weatherspoons to have another drink, we arrived back at restaurant at 8.30 and was not served food until 10 o’clock , I feel this is not good enough, I won’t be returning.

Great Turkish food, beautifully presented. Lots of choice of starters and mains on menu including vegetarian. Kebab style as well as traditional dishes- moussaka etc. the stuffed aubergine main course was really good. Main courses £14-18 and come with mixed salad and rice. It was a Monday evening and it wasn’t busy so service was ok. Friendly staff. Well presented venue. Nice atmosphere, lovely decor. Step free access to toilets. Visited while on a work trip. Would return if in the area again.
