Metro Brixton in Lambeth

Great food for excellent prices. The staff are very friendly and cooked the food promptly. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone. It’s a must try as the type of food is not found anywhere else.

We have just walked out of the restaurant due to very poor service. We as a family love the restaurant and have been eating with lalos since brixton village. But today, greatly disappointed. We ordered 2 breakfasts 2 coffees and an orange juice. A table that arrived after us were served their food before we even got our coffee. We questioned the waiter and we were told "you just have to wait!!!" Such a shame

Un entorno maravilloso con el viejo Skool y la música soul entre imágenes icónicas de músicos bien. . . . Nos encantó y volveremos pronto. . . Muchas gracias ! !

Best place to bring families and friends I had a great meal

We travelled quite a way for this experience. We had seen the place on Instagram recommendations so decided to visit. Not many people in the restaurant when we came so the service and atmosphere was calm and quiet. I like the cosy, winter vibe they've tried to create, and look forward to visiting again in summer to see the beach style set up. Cocktails were nice and food was nice (especially for vegans). Maybe a tad expensive though, and not much variety for meat eaters. I think the plantain portion should have been much bigger (or half the price for the amount you got). Next time, I'll try the doubles, as this place does seem like it specialises in Trini-type foods.
