Methi Indian Takeaway in Huntingdonshire

Delivery time was set at 19:10-19:30. We received no updates to notify of any delays. I called the restaurant at 19:30 to be told it was ready and would get to us as soon as possible. I called again at 8pm as it still hadn't arrived, and was told the driver was just leaving with it. The driver arrived and told us the food had been ready for a while and might need heating up (it did need heating up). Very unimpressed for nearly £40 worth of food

AMAZING!!! The food was great, loads of chicken pieces in the curry's unlike other restaurants we have tried before, the aam sauce was to die for, we have always love Methi, and they never disappoint us. 10/10 recommended to everyone.

Exceptional quality of food. Popadoms and dips was tasty. Also I had a paneer masala first takeaway I did not have to ask to from meat and could order off a menu and not over charged. Thankyou. I would definitely recommend. Please could you change your other other dishes to paneer as well so I can try. If I could rate this takeaway more I would. The taste was delicious authentic and flavourful.

Absolutely delicious as always 😋 flavours of everything is always amazing! Altho a few more veggies in my vegetable masala would have made it perfect. I always get a naan but tried a paratha today for the first time, flavours were great but a tad chewy for my liking. Still my favourite Indian round here!

Delivery driver short changed us. Food was on estimated time. But more importantly, food was cold in places. A few of the dishes were bland. Not much grease though, which was nice. Unfortunately left disappointed. :(

As always a lovely meal and friendly service. The Methi special is excellent and the lime gives it a lovely flavour. The achaari chicken is one of our favourite dishes too. We like the fact that the balti can be prepared to any strength which is great for family members who don't want things too hot.

Greasy, average food. Dull flavours and minimal meat content in both Lamb and Chicken dishes.

We always use methi, after trying other Indian restaurants/take aways in the area we always come back to methi, great food, friendly staff and so much food for your money, and its consistently good grub. We honestly don't go anywhere else for our take away anymore.

I’m fussy when it comes to curries but since discovering Methi, it has been my go to for the last three years. The service is perfect, food properly cooked and always delivered on time (and I’m five miles from St Neots). Five stars all the way. And try the naga chicken. Da bomb

One of the best takeaways I’ve ever had and the best Indian takeaway by some distance. Everything arrived hot and fresh - whereas I’ve had some mixed experiences of naan breads and poppadoms on past takeaways. The dishes were delicious and we’ll definitely use Methi again. Top marks.

Used these many times and never had a problem. Last night a nice was missing. Rang up and they sent it out. Waited another 30 minutes. So the main was then getting cold. Rice arrived and was also cold. No offer of a discount. No apology. Will never use again. Very loyal customer lost.

From start to finish everything was great with our meal. The staff were friendly and polite, the delivery was very quick and the driver was lovely. The food was excellent. The portions were generous, and reasonably priced. All the dishes were very tasty, well seasoned, and full of flavour. There is a variety of dishes suitable for vegetarians. They were also very respectful of my food allergies. I highly recommend Methi

Not for the first time have we had to wait beyond the booked delivery time for our food, however I am aware from other reviews - and our own past experience - that Methi can and do deliver punctually when less busy. And they are busy for one reason… this remains the best takeaway Indian cuisine in the area. Their Jalfrezi is perfection. The mushroom rice the perfect accompaniment. We wish every business success (and try to support them all) and would highly recommend Methi to everyone. 5 stars!

Butter chicken was made with coconut milk which is not typical of this dish, the poppadom was stale, and the saag paneer was runny.

Pretty ropey this time, chicken was cold. Not warm but cold. Poppadoms we’re chewy. Rice was greasy. Really disappointing.

Possibly the best Indian takeaway we’ve ever had! The food was fresh and hot, the delivery driver was super friendly as was the restaurant when I called them, very good value for money. Will definitely 100% be ordering again.

The popadoms was stale and the onion bhaji was hard and dry and both felt they been cooked for a while and sat around. Could not eat them. My partners meal was cold and tasteless when was supposed be spicy hot. We ordered early arrived at 18.30pm a lot of money for poor meal.
