I had spent money over time to fill the stamp card and had earned a discount. I just used that on my last order from this restaurant. shame because the fish n chips were as good as always. Been buying from there for 20+ years, but no more

They did not have what I originally ordered so took something else with a garlic dip when it arrived it was barbecue sauce called them and they have said can have a free garlic dip with chips on my next order

Extremely pleased with the meal we ordered and with definitely be ordering again. Well cooked fish and chips and superb value for money. Highly recommend.

Order was placed at 7pm, estimated delivery was 8.25/8.45. Order arrived at 9pm. Food was luke warm and the instructions regarding no ham on one of the pizzas was ignored.

Garlic sauce was really weird, tasted more like sour cream.

ordered gravy got curry, ordered fish bites, got a small fish which was tiny, no phone call to say they had no fish bites, just got what we were given. the mixed chicken grill kebab comes in a tortilla wrap, get some pittas or put a description saying it comes in a soggy inedable wrap. disappointing.

Pies were good but the chips, fish cakes and curry were terrible.

Bang average to be honest. Fish was OK albeit not very fresh, most of the chips were on although there were some scraggy ends. Worst thing was being charged 80p for bag of batter. Total rip off.

Best Cod & chips I've had in a long time. It was beautiful and still nice and hot when it arrived. I would definitely recommend them.

The gravy is far too thick and salty, not the best. Battered sausage was okay, but again salty. Chips were little bits, not the best tbh. I don’t know why I order, as I’m always disappointed.

I must say I had a delivery on Good Friday and I was surprised on how they managed to get my food to me within one hour. I could ordered a pizza as well as fish and chips. Lovely staff every time I go to collect or order from the shop,been going to this shop for the past 25 years and I have never had any problems.🙏

Amazing quality and service cannot complain at all food was different levels beautifully cooked fish and chips were proper chippy chips. I was sceptical after reading reviews but food was honestly delicious and the deals they have on during the week to which the lovely lads informed me of are by far the best in the area

absolutely delicious. kebab was huge and gorgeous. all eaters highly complimentary. my fave kebab place and fish n chippy. 10 out of 10!

No food has turned up after over 2 hours

Never turned up and are not picking up the phone. I’f you are too busy don’t accept the order.

ordered at half 5, turned up at 8:50 stone cold

1 hour & 15 minutes late, no updates at all from restaurant.

The app indicates our order was delivered but it never actually arrived. When we tried phoning the restaurant there was no answer and when we tried driving there to pick the food up ourselves, they were closed. We’re very disappointed about this

it says our food was delivered but we have not received it .we want a refund

Food was cold, an hour late and not at all worth the high price. I paid £6.20 for cod bites and received 2 small bites and a handful of chips. Tried to call restaurant but phone is clearly switched off. Absolute robbery

I normally have a quality experience with Merrills but my last order has prompted me not to use either Merrills or just eat ever again, take a look at how often I use both. Food was late and cold and no acceptable response from either Merrills or just eat, over £20 wasted.

Food was 25 minutes early my the chips were a mess. Very few actual chips, the rest were thin slivers. The chocolate was not worth the £4:20 and it was very dry. Not very impressed at all

Asked for no cabbage on burger but still got it so had to remove that otherwise great burger nice salad and chips were the best yet no scabby or dry

Chips were not hot lukewarm not as good as normal and had to go outside to fetch it did not deliver to my door , driver needs to get out his car and bring to the door that’s what the delivery fee is for

Just awful. After 4-5 years we went there at 4.45pm, there was a load of fish ready pre-cooked and only me to serve, the girl taking the order I could hardly understand. Got the order, (wasn’t asked if we wanted salt or vinegar on them) took home (exactly 4 minutes away), opened them up. Fish, chips and mushy peas, all lukewarm at best. Never again. They have on the walls pictures of awards ( when the owners were different to today) from back in the 1980/90s I think. I can’t imagine that they’ll get any such awards again.

Food arrived cold again. Not good enough.

Waited over 2 hours for food. Called twice and was told the food was on its way an hour ago with no apology for the delay, and still waiting.

Been here numerous times before and couldn’t fault it! However, waited over and hour for delivery, rang up just as order was placed, to change garlic for gravy. They said they could do it! When it finally arrived, the chips were soggy and opened the sauce and it was garlic! Even thought we had asked for gravy!

Long wait and food bogging! Cold chips, 2.80 or something stupid for watered down curry and the Haggis, don't ask! Disgraceful. Only good thing was the bottle of vinegar.
