Meraki in City of London, Westminster

We were here for their take on Sunday lunch and to celebrate my birthday. We were greeted by a friendly and professional young woman, given options of where we would prefer to be seated, and ultimately received excellent service. The staff were friendly, efficient, and well presented. The food was brilliant, DELICIOUS!! I had the chicken and my partner had the lamb for our main. The meats were well seasoned, full of flavour, and cooked well. The lamb was incredibly tender and oozing with juices. We had bread and olives for starters and Haloumi. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for a cozy Sunday lunch. The options on the regular menu looked very appetizing too. We saw a few other diners have lobster which looked AMAZING and the group sitting next to us were moaning and groaning with delight as they tucked into their desserts. compliments to the staff at this restaurant. Thank you for the experience.

Disappointing Birthday Dinner—Far Below Expectations I’ve visited Meraki a few times before and always had a great experience, so I was excited to bring my friends here for a group birthday dinner. Unfortunately, this visit was incredibly disappointing. The service was very poor. I found myself constantly having to chase up and check on things, even though there were staff members just wafting around the restaurant. There was a general sense of apathy, as if they simply didn’t care. To make matters worse, our food arrived before our drinks—a basic misstep that shouldn’t happen at a place like this. The entire experience felt no better than what you'd expect at a Pizza Express. On a positive note, the food was good, which provided some comfort. The baby chicken and prawns were superb. However, the overall condition of the restaurant was a letdown. It felt tired and in desperate need of redecoration. The bathrooms were particularly awful, with peeling paint and mold—hardly what you’d expect from a restaurant that markets itself at this level. It just felt very basic and out of touch with what it’s supposed to be. Despite noting in the booking that this was for a birthday, there was absolutely no acknowledgment—no one even said "happy birthday." This lack of attention to detail was disheartening. The only time someone came over to check on us was when we didn’t pay the full service charge, which felt like a bit of an insult given the terrible experience we had. Sadly, I won’t be coming back. Meraki has really gone downhill, and this experience was a huge disappointment.

We had a great time thanks for all the team . My missus in the end got a lovely birthday cake also the food was really tasty . We like the atmosphere! Hamid is a great host very friendly and welcoming. 100 % recomend this lovely place

Great night had by all. Delicious food and wine. Super sommelier. The wait staff were amazing - so friendly and helpful. And great to have the downstairs area for afterwards.

What can we say about a restaurant where everything was perfect? The food was an amazing experience of new tastes and flavours. Of food we would never have thought would go together ... try the routine potatoes! The service was superb - friendly and nothing was too much trouble to ensure we had a great evening. Thank you

In all honesty it was such a massive disappointment I have wanted to try Meraki for months and finally got round to visiting this month The wine was 10/10 The food was 2/10 Sadly poor food, octopus was the finest portion, overcooked and tough. Fava unseasoned no flavour Shrimp saganaki was under-welcoming with no flavour . The Greek salad was not freshly cut the tomato’s were soft and old. The potato rosti dish was unexplainable to be honest and the calamari was just a plate of breadcrumbs. I struggled to find the actual calamari Such a beautiful place but sadly the food was a real let down for us

Another amazing dinner at Meraki Fitzrovia. We took on the special wine tasting menu (3 wines for £25) and Antonio the Sommelier didn’t disappoint. He was amazing, looking after us while we waited for our courses. Highly recommend! Don’t miss the Santorini Tomatoes Salad and the Rosti Greek Style!
