called at the tonbridge road restaurant indian virgins but staff where so helpfull told us all about the food so we knew what each meal was when the food came it was welljust so good we could not eat all so they gave us doggy bag to bring home would like to thank all the staff for making our 1st time so good keep up the good work will see you again soon

Have use you multiple times over last year. Ordered takeaway tonight never again two hr wait for delivery and only half portions and wrong curry. Had to ring twice as well.dont know what gone wrong with the running of your business but won't be back

Eaten at the restaurant and the food was good but stupidly expensively. Melad had a pop-up at a nearby pub to coincide with an England game. £14 for what was essentially a starter with salad and nan bread. This restaurant is very, very expensive for nothing extraordinary. Spend your money elsewhere

I ordered prawn biryani and chicken tikka masala, when i got it home it was luke warm. I only live 10mins away. Very disappointing considering it cost me £27

We have had takeaways before from various local Tandoor restaurants, but tonight's was the best ever by far! Between the three of us we had the Chefs special biryani, a king prawn papra, a chicken pasanda plus other accompanying dishes. It was undoubtedly the best takeaway we've had in a LONG time. Highly recommended and we will order again from you very soon!

So disappointed tonight…food was bland and boring tarka dahl swimming in grease & this is not the first time…king prawn tikka wow what a rip off…£13.99, not at all worth it..starter size meant to be main…really poor…Mother’s Day left without a main just going downhill all the time…thinks it’s time to try somewhere else…shame as have used them for takeaways for quite a while now .

We ordered a takeaway, decided to try tikka massala jalfrezi with mushroom rice. The sauce was really flavoursome with a great kick. I would definitely order again and hopefully eat in very soon. It arrived quickly and was still quite hot.

Very Poor Service. We have just moved to the area and ordered for the 1st time. I understand a takeaway on a saturday evening is going to take its time. We were told delivery time would be 1 hour. 2hrs 15mins later no takaway had arrived and no one answering the phones!! In the meantime we ordered elsewhere and were tucking into a delicious chinese delivery when our food finally arrived after nearly 3 hours! Shame as this could have been our go to curry restaurant!.

Zero service. You won’t get your food. You won’t get to speak to anyone about it. Doubt i’ll get a refund either. Absolute shambles. AVOID!!!!!

We ordered a takeaway on a Saturday night with a delivery time of 1h 5m. After 3h it had not arrived. I called numerous times to ask and was told "it's on it's way". After 4 calls over 1h 30 m they started hanging-up. They did apologise and offered a refund. They spoilt out plans and I expect compensation in the form of free food. Very, very poor customer service. Disgraceful!

Take away from a well rated restaurant - worst meal ever! EVERYTHING was over cooked - tikka and bhagees were dark brown and had no moisture at all - Nan bread tiny - relish tray had very weird taste on some sauces - won’t be back - so many better Indians in Maidstone - awful!

Booked on line to visit their newly opened restaurant in Barming. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Great welcome on arrival. Very contemporary decor. Large bar area leads to a very modern restaurant. A very extensive menu that has endless opportunities to mix your curry up a bit. Old favourites to new contemporary dishes. The Rangeela selection was impressive. Authentic and full of flavour. Service was friendly and very efficient. Considering the size of the menu the timing between courses was excellent. Food tasted as good as any London restaurant. Very reasonably priced . Definitely highly recommend.

A meal with friends first time was ok when newly opened in Barming and then returned with family in June which wasn’t so great. Friendly enough but, food was not as explained on the menu. We didn’t complain as they were really busy…with deliveries apparently. So we still tried again as we are local and ordered a home delivery twice, which was delivered in good time on each order, but the amount of food in each carton was very little for what they charged. Some cartons were not even quarter full and there was very little meat in the meat dishes. So, unfortunately they have lost our custom both eat in and take away. Shame though, we were looking forward to having a nice local restaurant to visit.

Just tried the new restaurant in Maidstone. Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Service was much improved from the previous restaurant (Taj Barming). We’ll worth a visit and staff really friendly.

Waited 2 hours for our food, called twice and was told 10 minutes each time. Didn’t receive the food and when we called up for a refund, the woman was incredibly rude and even hung up on us. Had to use another phone as they stopped answering the original phone even though we hadn’t received a refund. Took over 2 hours to receive food that didn’t even turn up, never had problems before but definitely did this time and had a lot of trouble getting refund (pending refund).

We have been using this indian takeaway for a while now because it was recommended and we have been very happy with everything so far! But. It was not the same this time. We have a chicken Tikka dansak every time and it's always very tasty and the sauce is thick but this time it was quite tasteless and very watery. Also the Tikka korma was rather watery compared to other times. I appreciate that all chefs are different in their styles of cooking but when the quality falls it's not good.

There are a few tandoori/ curry takeaways locally butvin our recent experience they can be variable in quality and value and mostcrecently very disappointing. The tskesway menu from this establishment came through the door and we decided to give it a try Very pleased that we did. Pickrd somecitems for a takeaw ay meal for two and the delivery was very prompt and the quality and taste of the meals beat the local outlets by some way! If thdy keepbthis standsrd up then there os no doubt we would use this place agaon. Thank you so much

We ordered a takeaway for the first time from Melad Tandoori this evening and it was absolutely delicious! All dishes really well cooked, fresh tasting and perfect portions. Arrived on time with courteous delivery and really good value too Will definitely order again

Ordered from here last couple of months only had one dodgy meal where i ordered a kurma tasted more like a tomato soup, can not fault at all. Called to ask a question about a dish got given indepth details. Would always go back here, staff so so friendly such a shame its not a sit down as would definitely go back. 10 out of 10

This was the first and last time of ordering food from here. It arrived on time but the food itself was very disappointing. The mango chutney was missing that I’d paid for. The samosas were freezing cold as if they were frozen. The meat was tasteless. I threw most of it in the bin. What a waste of money. Won’t bother again. I’ll go back to my usual Indian takeaway which has never failed me.

Ordered at 6pm food arrived at 7.40 pm but was told it was only a 50 minute wait food was cold when arrived by then I had gone past hungry so it all went in the bin This was my first and last time of using this takeaway

Ordered family meal for the second time, reasonably priced, promised 40 mins delivery and arrived as promised. Food was piping hot again despite the distance and each dish was so tasty, good quality tender meat and very generous portions. Excellent! Ordered on line this time...

Very disappointed overall. Plastic cartons mean you cannot keep the food hot whilst eating your starter and then having to microwave the mains. No salad or lemon with the starters that you get as standard with other takeaways. Lacking taste overall.

Had guests, so decided to sit outside on a lovely evening, didn’t fancy BBQ. We wanted Indian. So ordered delivery it was quick, food was nice and hot and everyone loved what they had ordered. Red sauce with popadums so yum

Have been coming here for around 5 years, always have the same thing but tonight was a little different.Requested my usual order, young girl on the phone took my order and said it would be 20 minutes, I get there to collect and the girl told me it doesn't come with chips. I told her that I have had the same meal probably once a month for the last 5 years. Then I was told that it is under new management. So the boss came over and shouted it doesn't come with chips, so I pointed out that it is still on the website saying comes with chips. So the boss cooked the chips, meanwhile the rest of the food is getting cold whilst I wait 5 minutes for the chips. I get home and the order is wrong. Also appears the portion size has dropped drastically and the food tasted bland. So save yourself the hassle and find somewhere else or maybe they should bring back the old management.

Ordered food for 5 of my friends and it all came hot and on time. 5 different main dishes all packed with flavour and great customer service. Keep up the good work it's no surprise they've been around since 1994!

Absolutely disgusted by the customer service in this place. I order from here regularly and have always enjoyed their food, however after ordering a few days ago, our food arrived freezing cold. The delivery driver turned up and complained that we didn't tell that about a road closure we had no knowledge about, told us that we were lying about knowing and wanted to up the price from £31 to £40. We declined and rejected the food and he eagerly came back saying we could have it for the agreed price. We took and paid for the food, which as above I said was freezing cold. We decided to ring up and complain and the response we got was extremely rude, full of excuses and unwilling to even let us speak as they were adamant to tell us over and over again that it wasn't their fault, it was in fact ours. Extremely disappointed.

Myself and my wife have been going to the Melad for years and have always found it to be above average but today's meal was below par and what made it worse was the price. The takeaway restuarant have decided to increase their prices by 15 to 20% on virtually everything. We usually take advantage of the offer; 2 starters, 2 main dishes, 1 rice, 1 naan and one side dish for £19.90 which we found was fairly reasonable but today that same offer cost us £22.90 a 15% increase. Effectively it was more than that as we noticed the portion sizes of the tikka mix kebab starter were far smaller. My Madras was very watery and in order to continue eating it I had to get up half way through return to the kitchen and drain half a mug full of oilly watery liquid from my plate because my food was literally swimming in it.In short we have decided not to return, such a shame as we had been pleased fairly consistently for such a long time.

Good food here, varied menu and great dishes. We don’t always stick with our “usual” there’s lots to try. Usually get it delivered when we want a night in.

Had friend's over for curry so picked our local and reliable takeaway, 45mins for pick up on a Saturday night at the end of the month is good. Food is always hot and meets our needs, great service every time. A must try 😁

We have recently moved into Aylesford and we had heard good things about the Melad. We have now ordered a few take always and the quality of the food has always been very good and very tasty with plenty of flavour. We will continue to use the Melad on a regular basis and we appreciate having such a good take away so close to our home.

One of the if not the best Indian takeaway locally. All freshly made when ordered and offer free delivery to local area. Great use of a traditional train station. Reasonably quick when you order by phone and wait for delivery. I have used them when ordering for 3 up to 12 people, NEVER had a bad meal and always piping hot

We have used Melad a number of times and have never been disappointed , the meals are tasty and delivered hot or you can call and collect, we try others for a change, but always go back , there are fixed meal specials available which are great value

Have had 2 takeaways over the last couple of months and both times rang and complemented them on such quality food ... This evening we had the most dreadful meal, no flavour, watery and generally disgusting ... We rang to inform them of such a difference in quality and was setback by the negative attitude from staff..... Would love to see local business do well but after this attitude sadly will be giving it a miss in the future, complete waste of money as not even edible

We used this takeaway when we first moved to Ditton but felt the standard fell and also at that time they did not offer home delivery. However we have recently had meals from Melad all of which have been delicious Generous portions and some different dishes which do not appear on other takeaway menus We will certainly be sticking with Melad for our Indian food

I haven't used this place for a year at least when it was doing fried chicken as well. It must have changed hands because it now seems to concentrate on just Indian cuisine.The food we had (Chicken Bengal Mosala and Chicken Kashmir) was tasty and they were good sized portions. The food was ready for collection at the time they said when I ordered the food over the phone. I believe that they do deliver but I didn't want to wait.Overall, an enjoyable meal and we would use them again.

Me and my boyfriend ordered 2 curries, 2 small rices and 2 naan bread and it came to £18.90!!! Far too overpriced, especially seeing as the rice dishes are no bigger than my hand!! Also staff very rude and unsociable, never at the front desk and takes a good 10minutes for someone to notice your even there! Won't be returning, will go out to a Indian restaurant instead next time for cheaper!!

Can't speak for meat dishes as I am vegetarian, all I can say is everything I have had from Melad has been freshly cooked and delicious.Vegetable Balti is a favourite, you can really taste the carefully mixed spices,can't fault it!

I have recommended this place so many times and always had good service, up until now. I ordered my usual, a King Prawn Delight. When it finally arrived, there were THREE prawns in the whole dish. My friend asked me why I had ordered soup ! I phoned them and complained. A very condescending man told me he would tell the chef. Fat chance. It was a disgrace. Perhaps they are starting to believe all the good things people may have written in the past, and now starting to cut corners. How sad, but I will not be returning. After years of going here, I expected so much better and am bitterly disappointed. I finished the sauce off as soup. What a shame.

Regular customer used them many times, the food is has always been to a high standard and good quality it is always ready when they state what else could you ask for?

Good flavours and once of the best rezallas around. If you order and they tell you it will be ready in 40 mins give it an hour or you will wait the other 20 mins. Always slower then they expect but then the result is good. Occasionally the volume of meat is a little disappointing but there's not much one can do about that. I like to order sufficient for 2 nights. The second night it always best. Blitzed in the microwave to kill any possibly risks, but the spices have had extra time to marinate and taste fab! Give it a try.

Food always excellent. Use this place quite regularly and never had reason to complain. Gets very busy, especially Friday and Saturday evenings so order well in advance if you want food for a specific time.
