Eat here often excellent food best around. Ordered once and they forgot the popadoms, after a quick call they turned up with fresh ones straight away amazing service.

Great food but once again there was items missing from our order. Thats at least the 4th time something has been missed out from the delivery - very very frustrating! Don’t know why I persist with them - think it must be the food.

Yet again we ordered and the food was Luke warm We did ring up but they advised us that they were short of drivers We advised them that that is not our issue and if this was the case they should not except the on line orders This is the third one that we have had to reheat up. We wish to support local businesses but they really don’t help themselves

Peshwari naan was abysmal (dry , underdone, no flavour, falling apart and not fresh) Most non authentic Rogan josh imaginable. Rice was the only saving grace but that's no compliment.

Spent £80 first time of ordering from here, onion bhajis were banging, the meat was really good wasn't chewy at all, but flavour wise I wasn't all that impressed it was pretty standard, so not saying we didn't enjoy it but definitely could have been a bit better

Picked up a lamb jalfrezi, sag aloo, garlic mushroom rice and peshwari naan and it was absolutely spot on. All for less than £20 too great value 👌😆

Lovely authentic tasting curry, ordered on a busy Saturday night - arrived slightly late but they very kindly threw in a free starter which was delicious. Highly recommend as the best takeaway in Tonbridge!

If I could give them 10 stars, I would, they serve the best Indian food I've eaten in 35 years. Always on time, always correct, always hot and best of all, always fantastic. Keep it up Dalchini, you are the reason I can't move house!!!!

I ordered a takeout and it arrived 25 later than advertised, but it's a pandemic out there, so fair enough.For a night when they must be under alot of pressure, it was very good. It would be good if they'd try be more honest about the extra time instead of saying will be arriving five min late. The food was very tasty, I had a Dalchini special with chicken and lamb, and my wife liked the Biryani. Silly of me to have ordered two rices plus the Biryani, so a bit of a waste there of one rice. I would say the plain naans were a little underwhelming, perhaps a little undercooked, but my peshwari was delicious. the tandoori chicken my teenage son ordered looked excellent.

This is honestly my fave take away the chicken tikka biryani is amazing ! I highly recommend

Absolutely terrible!! Dry and salty tandoori chicken, dry and overcooked lamb dish, stringy okra, rice dried out, salad warm, only half of one poppadom. Every thing was definitely NOT freshly cooked. This is a rip-off. Extremely disappointing for the second time and we will never use Dalchini again.

I have had several meals from this place. Nothing spectacular. I only use them as they are local to me. Recently I had a meal delivered and one of the items was a Chicken Tandorri starter. This was inedible. Dry, chewy and no flavour. The rest of the meal was ok , nothing special. So at £4.95 I felt I had a right to complain about the starter. For over a week I have been fobbed off, promised contact from the manager but received nothing. They don't answer the phone until 5pm when service begins, so constantly engaged, and there is no email address. This is not about the money (although I have better things to spend a fiver on ) it is about taking responsibility for a mistake and putting it right. Needless to say, I will never use this place again and will encourage others not to as well. An apology and a refund for inferior goods is surely something we have a right to!

We have been sent the wrong order again. We always put the delivery in the oven to make sure it’s nice and hot and it wasn’t until we got it out that we realised that what was written on the lids wasn’t what we ordered. By the time we phoned to complain, I am sure whoever got our order would have phoned but they are just not interested, they just want to keep ploughing through the orders. My husband has a delivery most Fridays but I am not often around. This is the second time in a row that I haven’t had what I ordered and it’s really disappointing.

Ordered at 1910hrs was told food would be delivered at 1950hrs at 2120hrs food still not arrived- telephones and told they had lost our order this is the second time this has happened plus other orders have had the wrong food, avoid at all costs and go elsewhere like Chill Hut disgusting service - Hungary and pi**ed off

Having tried a number of Indian Takeaways in Tonbridge during the last two years with varying levels of success decided to try Dalchini after reading some very positive recommendations on the Facebook Tonbridge Community Hub. Used the website to order which was very easy and particularly liked the ability to choose our delivery time Even though it was a Saturday night our food was delivered 10mins early by a very polite man. The Food was all very tasty and hot and my wife I ate every morsel. We will most definitely be using Dalchini again and would recommend them to anyone else wanting a takeaway curry in Tonbridge

Great quality food that’s packaged well and tastes amazing.

We regularly buy take away food from here, usually using the online ordering service which is easy to use. We've tried several dishes and enjoyed them all. The delivery service is good - they always phone on the rare occasions when the delivery is going to be slightly later than anticipated.

Not a bad Indian takeaway ,its just a shame they don't get your order right the first time round

We have used Dalchini Indian in Tonbridge a lot, at one time once a week but it's success has been its demise. As the take away has become so popular they cannot keep up with demand. Therefore as a result you have to wait considerably longer than initially quoted for delivery and when it does arrive the food has become lukewarm and the chicken started to get quite tough. This Saturday was the final straw we keep saying "we will give them another chance" and we do but enough is enough now - Come on Dalchini sort it out - its been good but we are off to different take aways now

Ordered last night . It has to be one of the best meals i have ever had . The different flavours that rolled across my tongue were amazing . You know what makes it all come together , the Red Sauce . Lanb Tikka Dhansak , garlic mushroom rice . Simply stunning . 10/10 to the chef . 👍

Absolutely banging korma! Chicken was really soft. Accidentally sent the wrong naan bread but the restaurant sorted it out very promptly so thanks so much for a great service. Highly recommend

Very pleasant staff and more importantly, very pleasant food.

Love the food here, the new Shahi zeera lamb dish is my personal fave. Found the nan breads and biriyani to also be especially good. Would recommend. 😋

Asked for a breast piece of tandoori, was told o didn’t get a leg when I clearly have. Explained the chicken was dry and not edible and was told rudely ‘to get over it’ apparently the manager just had a piece for this dinner and it was fine. Utterly rude manager who refused to resolve situation and had no interested. Would never eat here again. Second bad meal in the last couple of months. Nann bread was also burnt and had minor peshwari filling too.

We tried Dalchini in Tonbridge for the first time and encountered problems with their website. Ordering the items was easy enough, but checking out as a "newby" proved impossible. There was no option to register - just to log-on as an existing customer. So it was back to phoning them up to give them our order. That was a trip down memory lane - you don't realise how long ago it was since you last had to do that. The order was taken by a friendly member of their team and our order was delivered on time and nicely presented in a custom box. The slight inconvenience with the website was soon forgotten once we started to tuck into the food. It was the best Indian/Asian that we had had for a very long time. Without a shadow of doubt this is now our restaurant of choice and look forward to sampling other dishes on their tempting menu. Our friends from out-of-town agreed completely with our view of Dalchini's food. We cannot recommend them highly enough to anybody reading our review.

The food that was delivered was extremely disappointing. It was clear that the meat had been microwaved as it was rubbery and chewy in both dishes. Also the balti sauces very obviously based on tomato ketchup. We will not use you again.

What a wonderful treat to cheer up a cold Thursday evening. Food and service was excellent. Will definitely be going back!

Back home in Bradford, I was once told by an Asian restauranteur that if the basic curry isn't right then don't bother with anything else. Tonight was my virgin Dalchini delivery and that basic curry was immense. Perfectly spiced, beautiful flavours and delivered on time. Easily my best Indian experience in 17 years here in Kent and looking forward to ordering again next week.

Based on word of mouth recommendation we tried this takeaway, and were hugely impressed. Very tasty, good quality food.

My family eat from here regularly. I'm vegan and hubby is gluten free, the staff are very accommodating. Highly recommended the saag dhal as its especially loved by my kids. Any place that can get my kids excited about spinach is an absolute winner for me. The Xacuti dish is personally my favourite.

Beware of using their app to place an order. We had a very poor experience today, ordered a takeaway at 18.05 on Saturday evening online and given a delivery time of 19.20. Once we had confirmed and paid for our meal the delivery time changed to 19.45, meal finally arrived at 20.25. Needless to say we will not be placing another order with this establishment.

Absolutely appalling takeaway. Ordered at 1825pm, order was confirmed with a wait time of 80 minutes. Delivery email stated we would receive the order at 1944pm. After numerous attempts to contact Dalchini to zero avail, at 2045pm we drove there to see what was going on and why our order was 1 hour late (2 hours 15 minutes since we ordered). There were 4 other people stood outside also complaining wanting to know where their orders were. We were told 10 more minutes so we waited... Eventually at 2110pm we were given our order with a measly £8 refund on a £58 order! It transpires the owner was sat at home processing all the orders when realistically, they should NOT have taken anymore orders. There were 4 delivery drivers stood waiting because no orders were coming out. Just 2 in the space of 25 minutes and 1 was to the Cinammon which is the sister restaurant!! Our bombay potatoes contained less than half the container and we had 8 tiny potatoes. My dinner was inedible with a hair in the container! The tarka Dahl was extremely runny. The rice was NOT the correct one. 2 of the curries were tatsy and fine with no complaints but the rest of the service was shocking. Would never ever use again. Absolutely disgraceful.

Completely disappointed. The curry lacked flavour, the lamb was dry and chewy with lots of fat and nasty bits. I was given the wrong rice as well to top it off. The naan was nice however.

I’m a vegetarian so decided on an Indian take away with two mates last night, as there’s plenty of meat free options to choose from. Ordered two vegetable kormas, one chicken tikka masala, (for my meat eating friend) a lemon rice, plain rice, bullit naan and plain naan, and three poppadoms. First impressions were good, rice wasn’t hot but the korma was piping hot and a good sized portion. Half way through, to my absolute horror, I realised I was chewing on a piece of chicken from my veg korma. I spat it out before I swallowed any, but I was absolutely incensed that there was chicken in my dish. That is completely unacceptable. If chicken found it’s way into my vegetable korma, what else do they cross contaminate?? Not wishing to ruin a lovely evening with friends I didn’t ring up to complain, (what good would that have done anyway,) But this morning I feel the need to write this review, to warn others that if you order vegetarian options, be careful there’s no meat in there!!

Food was collected at time stated, upon arrival food was really late. Once we got home naans were missing. Lamb madras was not hot in flavour and meat dry and chewy. Onion bhajis rock hard and inedible. We have used here before and it was lovely so maybe a bad day....still spending £45 we were really disappointed and probably will go back to the turmeric.

Heard this was a great Indian but my mother s dish was tiny , not I m pressed and was nt cheap. If their was an email address I would of written a compliant.

Very impressed with Dalchini. Ordered and paid online, delivery was on time and the food was excellent really enjoyed it. The naan bread could be bigger but apart from that couldnt fault it.

1st order one dish was wrong and had to go back. 2nd order, booked online for collection for 7.50pm. Get there for 7.50, and still waiting at 8.50pm! Really not happy.

Well what can I say we have tried this place three times and there is always something that is not right. But tonight was the last straw as it was late and cold not happy.

Best curry for miles excellent service delivery arrived on time in a nice net box and very well packed plentiful portions will definitely be back for more 👍
