We visited Mehmets on Saturday night for the first time after being recommended by friends! The staff were friendly and welcoming, we were greeted straight away and offered the choice of 2 tables. Nicola was attentive and so efficient! The food was served quickly, was hot and very tasty! The best kebab meat we have had in a long time! We will recommend to our friends and family and return with the children very soon. It is a great place for a date night but also for the whole family to eat out too. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and delicious food! Can't wait to come back.

Memhets is our favourite place to eat. We visited tonight with some friends and fancied trying something different as we always end up having the same thing. We asked Nicky what she would recommend and we ordered what she suggested. It was seriously good. The meat quality as always was beautiful. The Pide which was new for us was delicious. We had a platter and there was so much food that we ended up with a doggy bag. Exceptional service and fantastic value for money. Big shout out to Nicky for choosing the food and being so attentive. What a find, authentic, fresh, quality food, from arrival, the meet and greet to the fantastic menu advice from the wife of the owner, along with free taste samples, turnip juice! that was surprisingly good and how the dishes are made...in a word fresh. Our sharing hot plater was phenomenal flavor and presentation, main course as recommended were truly amazing and even converted a non lamb eater..to food envy!! The place has a smart casual feel, like being on holiday!!. Value for money and despite being stuffed full Nicky sent us on our way with free home made rice pud! . Attentive front of house, skilled cookery, amazing flavors. Take away is superb but sit down in the restaurant is another level. Our new go to for quality, yet healthy, homemade fresh food. Visited Mehmet kitchen on my birthday with my partner and my parents and we were all amazed at how good the service and food was. We were made most welcome from the moment we entered the restaurant. All of the staff were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. So if you want good Turkish cuisine at a very reasonable price then Mehmet kitchen is the place to go.

I came here with my sisters last night and the food was amazing. We got the sharing platter and everything that came with it was super delicious and very well cooked. We also got the feta salad which was one of the best salads I’ve had anywhere, packed with so much flavour! The service was A one too! Would recommend and will be coming back with family again.

Been on the search for a high quality, beautifully cooked kebab for a few years now and tonight we most definitely found it. Lovely finishing touches, homemade sauces and dips on the house and Nicky who served us was warm, friendly and super efficient . Can’t wait to come back and sample more Mehmet delights.

Wow. The best Turkish food. We are on holiday from London and looked up turkish restaurants on Google Maps and this came up. Friendly warm traditional welcome. Beautifully presented food and soo tasty. The chicken shish was excellent. Nikki interacted with our son and was a lovely host. We had incredible baklava and complimentary aturkish tea was given. Amazing service and a brilliant restaurant. 👏

This restaurant has won a few awards so I thought we should give it a try. We ordered chicken and lamb doner from the menu. The food was exceptional and further enhanced by the sauces, salad and bread.

Excellent, excellent, excellent food! Literally the best Turkish food I have everrrr eaten (and I've been to Turkey)! And it's one of the best places I have ever eaten at (and I've eaten at a lot of places)! The cacik had such amazing flavour and texture! The meat and rice was so succulent! They gave me a complimentary bread and dessert! So nice if them! The rice pudding / sutlac was sooo delicious! Thank you! Have been telling everyone I can how good this place is! From the bustle and wonderful aromas of this award winning open kitchen when you arrive, means you know you are going to get good service and a great meal. Always a warm welcome by Nicky (Mrs Mehmet) . Very hardworking but will always take time to talk to customers, helping explain the menu and giving advice if asked. All the food here, either served in the restaurant or delivered home as a takeaway, is top quality and generous portions, served with a fresh mixed salad, sauces and bread. We tried the sharing platter and an Halloumi Pide tonight for a change. There was plenty of food and we brought a “doggy bag” and two portions of the famous Rice Pudding( Sutluc) home to enjoy tomorrow. The place is always spotlessly clean, all the staff welcoming and friendly. If planning to eat in I would recommend booking as it’s a cosy place and very popular. If planning a takeaway, we have never had to wait long for delivery.

Ordered a takeaway for collection on line . I ordered incorrectly so phoned and asked if possible to change. Staff were very helpful and did indeed change my order. Food as always was delicious. The rice is always amazing. Chicken tender and the lamb just beautiful.

Tonight I ordered a large chicken Donner cost me £14 when I went home I checked %80 was chips I can't believe they put that much chicken Donner in my order I am really annoyed it's not about money I was let down never again.

We regularly visit Mehmet’s kitchen with my family and friends since they opened. My favourite dish is chicken sheekh!! If you haven’t tried it yet you must!! It’s amazing give it a go you won’t regret!

Seen Mehmet kitchen here for a couple of years but only recently ventured in. Staff are lovely, helpful and accommodating and food is delicious. Lots of meat choices and plenty of veggie too. Limited options for vegans but I can highly recommend the vegetable kebab minus the yoghurt. I'll be returning here in future, already eaten here 4 times this month! Food is not your typical Friday night kebab, prices are reasonable for portion size, we didn't have an issue with leaving hungry. One thing to note is that it can get a bit chilly inside but if you feel the cold, a jumper will do the trick. You must eat here, you will not be disappointed!
