Missing items that I ordered and cold food

Food and service was lovely, nice to see the manager come over and say hi to everyone personally. Was recommended by a family friend.

I took my family to this restaurant 2 days ago for a wedding invite. The guests including my family have been poisoned with salmonella. They can't eat or sleep. Diarrhoea and nausea. I have been informed many of the people that attended are in the same condition and a few sending pictures from the hospital. A young girl from the bride side has been kept by the hospital. This establishment needs to be shut down pending an investigation before they kill someone. Restaurant owner needs to be held accountable.

I went there for a nikkah lunch on the 19th of February and my whole family got food poisoning some of them ended up in hospital. I’m never going back there again . Also service was really bad they have dropped food on my nieces and did not even apologised. Worst experience I never got food poisoning in a restaurant in my whole life before everyone who eat there now feeling sick like crazy we are all suffering of food poisoning

Why was I cjarded a delievery fee, whr. I have three months Premium delivery?

disapointed had to wait so long, however food was still deicious.

We frequently order from Mehek & do so because the food is tasty, but this time I was disappointed with my biryani, 6 pieces of meat and lacking in taste, everyone else was happy with their food. What went wrong for me?

Problem with this Indian is consistency and today was below average when it can be awesome at times. Also ordered lamb madras and got chicken instead

Food was lovely, but I am very unhappy with the waiting time of 2.5 hours for my food to be delivered when I orderd it said 45-60 mins

even though the delivery was very late and I did a pre-order, the food was delicious, first time ordering from here so was cautious with what I ordered; ctm, pilau rice, bombay potatoes, all very nice indeed, will definitely order from here again and will choose something different next time.

This was so late it was delayed on 2 seperate occasions ordered at 18:35 not delivered till 20:30 disappointed. unfortunately we ordered due to our oven breaking - as a solution thought we would grab a quick take away to feed the family. resresturant was called an hour and a half after ordered not helpful just said his on his way which took much longer then it should have to be delivered a 5 min journey.

The food was lovely but we've ordered these dishes several times and they added far too much spice this time, it was extra hot so unfortunately not enjoyed by all.

Food is good, but the portions are small, just a few pieces of chicken and lamb.

A wonderful takeaway. Always hot, fresh, delicious and well portioned. We keep coming back!

Mixed kebab was defo cooked days before and jus reheated, it’s actually outrageous.

Bit of a weird one, this time (as we've ordered before and liked it a lot!) There was nothing wrong with the food, but the dishes were a little bland - the balti for instance tasted more buttery/creamy than spicy / tomatoey. Though, to our surprise, the samosa seemed to have all the spice the rest was missing! REALLY hot! Lastly, one of our naans was really burned. Edible, but not lovely. I don't like to leave a negative review when we've enjoyed dishes from here before, but this one wasn't great.

Food was excellent and service was absolutely friendly and this place is for me more then 10 years the staff kam is of the my man ,he is doing absolutely fantastic job.im happy to go again and again.

I spent just shy of £20 for a cold meal that was late, supposed to be a Madras chicken curry was mostly sauce and the Bombay potato literally 1 large potato £3.75 and a small portion of rice. No flavour to speak of and sauce from curry had leaked into the bag was a right mess. That they have a minimum spend and still charge for delivery is outrageous - Won't be going back there

I have waited over an hour and a half and still waiting when it should have been 45 mins totally unacceptable.

The quality of the food was okay but not to my taste. I thought I would try here as my usual Indian take was closed today and I honestly feel I should have just waited until tomorrow from them instead . The dish I ordered said it came with rice but when there was no rice in my order, I rang the restaurant and they said this was from their old menu and it doesn’t come with rice any more . The chicken was dry, the sauce was watery compared to what I’m used to having elsewhere

Over two hours to arrive and barely warm food delivered.

Food was delivered more than 2hrs after being ordered! Have tasted better Indian food previously. Naan bread was water thin with very little keema inside.

marked as delivered at approximately 19:54, called the restaurant and was advised on its way 5-10 mins, called again at 20:27. Was told again on its way 5-10 mins. It then did arrive at 20 39. Understandably a busy night. But I feel customers should be advised correctly

Food was delicious as always. Unfortunately this time the delivery driver delivered the wrong order so we had to wait a bit of time to get what we had ordered. When we phoned the restaurant they sorted it out immediately. Amazingly though, it was still pretty warm and tasted absolutely fine.

We have been going to Mehek for about 3 years now on my friends birthday every year and have never had a problem until last night. Well firstly the “complimentary” popadoms and sundries we were charged £20 for on the bill at the end. Secondly we clearly stated we were paying separately for our meals before we ordered but one bill was produced to which it stated “DKS” £36 which apparently was for soft drinks we had bought for the kids, he charged us £3.20 for a glass of lemonade but clearly stated in the menu the drinks were £2.95. Oh you think this was bad WAIT FOR IT, the representative of this establishment then proceeded to shout at us telling me he had been there for 20 years, I asked why he hadn’t developed any customer service skills in that time. Another man then came out to assist us to which he apologised took off the charge for the “complimentary sundries” removed our service charge and still got £150 out of us for a shocking experience. It’s safe to say the birthday next year will not be spent here. Shocking!!!!

Really enjoyed our meal tonight! Prawn Asari, chicken Dupiaza, chapati, dall, aloo gobi and tandoori chicken! Yummy food and will definitely order again!

We were hungry that's why the five minutes mattered 😂 BUT you can't fault Mehek. The lamb biryani in particular is BEAUTIFUL.

When I ordered i left message to say please make sure the delivery man to put the food on delivery box not walk on street without food to be on the box and the driver was walking for 10 minutes to find my door and food get very cold

Waited for 1 hour and half then when food eventually arrived there was 3 items missing, originally paid £58 so was surprised also no popadoms free of charge like the other restaurants

Kept on getting texts saying my order was delayed and when I finally get it I had to stick it in microwave as it was cold , not good enough

Second time ordering, as the first meal was outstanding I felt brave and confident enough to try something else ( which I don’t usually do) and I weren’t disappointed at all !! Nice one 👌

Normally quality is very good from Mehek always 5/6 or at worst 4/6 but today very average. New chefs? disappointed as this used to be my favourite Indian.

Food was edible but lacked lustre except for the naan (despite being burnt). Not the best service either. Very aggressive and disrespectful when discussing the fact that they had overcharged us. I have never experienced such unpolite service both here and abroad. Shocked to say the least! In hindsight I now can see why the place was virtually empty. Avoid this restaurant like the plague.

They showed my order on the Just Eats app as being delivered a full 45 minutes before it had. (when I asked about this their guy told me this was ‘automatic’. 2. Despite my order being an HOUR late from the earliest estimated delivery time and 45 minutes after the latest estimated delivery time, the ‘Restaurant’ could not have been LESS apologetic & more rude and accusatory of me! 3. Can’t be arsed to write any more, just take my word, these guys are clowns - no, worse than that, extraordinarily rude clowns. But your Curry ELSEWHERE.

Spent £30 and was eligible for free side order, called restaurant and was told nothing for free although on just eat clearly said spend over £25, phone was hung up on me. Never enjoyed food not going to purchase again as poor customer services

The meal was very nice, but delivery was almost an hour late. I was notified it was delivered when it was not actually delivered until I chased it up again.
