They should try mixing their chips in the sauce they make like a salad

Really great kebabs and deals. Never fails to make me happy

I’m not sure what’s happened to this place over the past 6 months, it used to be fantastic, genuinely one of the best kebabs I have eaten and well worth the slightly higher prices….. but now it’s below average at best. If you want a decent kebab, use one of the vans in town, they are better and cheaper!

Kebabs bland, pool of liquid/grease in bag, pitta breads placed in the bag separately. Won’t be ordering again

Always had great kebabs there, but not been for about a year. Tonight was a real disappointment. Had the lamb shish and the meat was ropey and tough. The salad was very wet and there was a lot of grease at the bottom of the carton. I ate maybe half of it and binned the rest. Shame as I was really looking forward to it. Maybe will try them again later in the year, Hope tonight was a one off bad experience.

I’ve always really enjoyed my food from Medina grill. Unfortunately this evenings takeaway was very disappointing! A half pound burger is my preference when ordering. Today my burger had more bones in it than a graveyard! Worried that I would potentially damage my teeth, the meal was chucked in the bin. Normally I’d give my dog any leftover food, however tonight was an exception as I was worried about him damaging his teeth also. One assumes that they are now using a cheaper supplier and as a consequence quality has been jeopardised somewhat.

Ordered food last night. Wasn't cheap. Just short of £50 for 2 adults and 3 kids. Food was terrible. Cold, reheated chips. All rammed in a box. Looked vile and tasted worse. Majority went in the bin. I've always rated their food. But not this time. Won't be returning

I was in Carterton and just stopped on the off chance, grabbed a kebab to stuff my face in the car before driving home but what a pleasant surprise. The food was really nice, meat was well cooked. The salad was a nice addition rather than a bucket load dumped on top to make up the bulk. Priced well, tasted delicious and overall a great little find.

Ordered chicken shish kebab. I haven't had a kebab in over 10 years. The chicken was nicely seasoned and tender, salad was fresh and crisp. Sizeable portions. Overall verdict - good value for money and very tasty 😋.

Ordered food at 19:17 was told it would be an hour wait. Rang at 20:45 to chase up order to be told it was 5 minutes away, rang again at 21:00 to be told the same thing. It’s now 21:33 with no delivery made.

We've ordered from medina for a long time, frequently too! We've always loved the taste of their food and how differently and fresh it was to other takeaways. Tonight's takeaway was a little bit disappointing... the cheese now tastes like 'cheaper cheese' and the sauce was very bland and tasteless. We hope this will change In time!

Over priced for a cold and very greasy doner kebab. Asked for little garlic mayo and little chilli sauce. Came totally drowned in garlic mayo and no chilli.

I was the first to get served at 4pm, as the previous 2 times the chicken was overcooked and dry. Was extremely overcooked and dry again. Shame I won’t go again. Think it depends who is cooking as it used to be lovely

It seems the mega Medina has been taken over. This is legit the worst news. You can already tell the difference and drop in quality. RIP Medina. We miss you Ismail.....

Delivery time is terrible, been waiting 3 hours for a couple of kebabs. Not the first time this has happened either. When you phone to find out when it will be delivered you get an answer phone. Definetly looking somewhere else for a kebab

Without a doubt the best kebab I've had! Stayed at a mates while working in the area and he mentioned it, the food was delivered quickly and tasted fantastic. 3 of the 4 nights we used them. Wish these guys would relocate to where I live 😂

Best takeaway in carterton and it's not even close. Amazing portions for the money but the quality is the best. Really well cooked chicken and the salad is not just lettuce and tomato. Been a good few times now and each time has been as good as I could hope for.

This place is amazing! Great food and fantastic quality of produce used. I would and have been recommending this place to anyone who is craving a good kebab and burger. We ordered a delivery for a particular time and the food arrived exactly on the dot. Very impressed overall. I've also been to the shop a couple of times and you can really see the passion, in fact you can tell, as the owner has been replying to reviews, which tells me he really cares about people's views.

Genuinely one of the most polite and friendly places I’ve ever been. It’s a kebab shop that talks to you like you’re in a sit down restaurant. The chef is friendly, they employ the local lads and they are all just as polite and professional. Yeah the kebab is pretty good, but these guys do service so well.

Delivery was on time, food was absolutely delicious. We even got some free drinks with our meals. 10/10 definitely going to be our new favourite place for a kebab.

Will never use again...over 2 hours wait tried for a refund but will not give it.. paid for items like drinks and not delivered.. whoever was shift needs to go back and learn some manners and be helpful.. I don't expect a rely of "What do you want me to do about it"... what was delivered had been in the car all this time and was cold and not edible.... don't use is my advice.

Ordered well over 2 hours ago , delivery due within 90mins. Assured our order will leave in about 20 mins - 3 hours now - still waiting. Finally arrived - no cheese on the cheesy chips and cold chips.

Refreshing change for a kebab place to care about the quality of food they’re sending out. Even something as simple as sending everything out in cardboard instead of polystyrene, so the food doesn’t sweat and end up soggy. Hats off to you medina. 5 star all the way. 👏🏼

Superb food, an attention to detail like none other I have ever experienced. They do tend to get rather busy though (as any very good food establishment does) so be prepared to wait if you order for delivery.

Had a fantastic chicken shish and doner meat chips and cheese last week. I went to collect and the service was very quick despite them being busy. They even gave us extra pots of garlic mayo as from our ifder he could tell we liked it! Really succulent, delicious and we'll definitely be back.

Terrible service. Ordered online. After an hour they weren't picking up the phone. Tried calling from a different phone number. Call was answered was told the delivery had just left. After half an hour we called again. Was told it would be ten minutes. Then said they didn't know the address. Shocking service.

Awful just awful don’t order ! Waiting 3 . 5 hours for delivery , still not here no one will speak to us keep hanging up ! I’d only they would communicate . The person who took the order didn’t even ask for my house number until I prompted her just took postcode so didn’t fill me with confidence from the beginnnig. …. Not sure it’s ever going to arrive yet they have taken the money …. Unacceptable service. Waited 3hrs for our order. Food is swimming in grease. And they don't pick up phone. Not ordering again. Fed up with their excuses.

Have been getting kebabs every Fri and always great service and quality , On line ordering works well only moan is they offer 15% discount after buying a few meals but you have to redeem it next couple of days so not much use to me ! P,S would appear that after my original post above that the online ordering is of no use at all , Having purchased the five orders required to get 20% off your next order and showing them their message confirming it they did not give me the discount, bearing in mind that you pay a 50p charge for processing the on line order, I thought that I would just get this back in the discount but it was not to be ,so have given up on the online ordering ,not really a loyalty scheme if they don't give what they promised, Shame really because can't fault the food .

Unreal. Best takeaway around. if you get the doner meat, ask for it to be put on the grill for a few extra minutes. You wont regret it! Dont even bother with Sorros or Pizzeria, they're absolute fart compared to Medina. If anyone tells you other wise, they're lying!

Staying in Burford...looking for a takeaway and decided on Medina Grill as it was close by. We were not disappointed. Fresh salad, freshly cooked meat. Great service, would highly recommend. Amazing food!

Food is good but not worth the wait. Double the estimated time for delivery or collection. They always have an excuse. Even calling early is no guarantee.

Food very good delivery time appalling. Orders at 6 o,clock was told 45 minutes for delivery. It arrived at 7 .50 after chasing order three times.

Best kebabs and wraps by far in the town. Run by a lovely couple and the owner really does take pride in the food he cooks .had a kebab when he first took over and totally forgot to review at the time . Donner wrap with chips and cheese inside is massive and well worth the money . If you could possibly cut the wait time down to half hour online I'd order every night from here 😉.. can't wait for my order to arrive. Thanks again

Food is amazing I really do rate this place. Menu is a bit basic but what they do do is really good. Only let down is the delivery service is really slow often waiting over an hour and half for food. Maybe they need more drivers or something but that could be improved.

The chicken and lamb mixed shish is the best kebab I've ever had, been going here for a while now and every time it's amazing. Class owners too, really friendly and hard working. Would give it a 10* review if I could.

Lovely customer service, so polite and friendly. Can clearly tell the cook takes pride in his food and it defo shows! The place is nice and clean (& defo looks much cleaner than before take over!) and everything is cooked fresh, he will do to your preference, if u ask. So helpful and willing to accommodate if they can etc. Far better than previous owners I must say, what an improvement! Not much more to say other than the chicken burger is great and he's a very good proud cook, with great customer service. Can't fault. Enjoy going there now! And the refurb looks great!

We have just ordered a large chicken kebab and a mixed kebab and I cannot fault this place at all. The food arrived on time, hot and the portion size was perfect. The chicken was pure breast meat too which was a bonus and neither of us were able to finish them. Customer service was second to none from the lady I spoke to as we didn’t have a menu. We will be ordering again!!!

My Fiancee and I ordered from here last night and oh my gosh, it was absolutely amazing. Friendly staff, accurate delivery times (unlike many other takeaways) perfect food and my order was handled with care in transit i.e. use of heated carry bags. The food, was very fairly priced for the quality, talking of which the mixed kebab I had for £16 was insane. 2 pitta, lamb shish, kofta, chciken shish and donner meat, along with fresh salad and chips ... excellent value. Trust me, this place is ridiculously good!

Excellent quality takeaway food that is prepared to a high standard and with a passion you rarely see in the takeaway industry. Menu has been recently updated to include a really nice selection of vegetarian food.

I recommend you have delicious kebabs.

In my eyes coming from the northeast we have a very high expectations for takeaways. This kebab house can fight toe to toe on quality with the likes of my favourites back home in darlington and Middlesbrough. Will 100% be using again , keep up the good work guys . Walked into an empty shop, no customers waited at the counter and was ignored by all 4 members of staff for 10 minutes. Left without ordering! This is great! What a response. A great rant. I live alone in the week I'm not old enough to have grandkids The only way I could have ordered is through telepathy. I went to another place and served me instantly. I have receipts to prove it.... Please post the cctv footage up then🤷‍♂️ Instead on a rant, I simple sorry and please come back and we can try again would have been better. (don't forget the audio when posting the video) Cheers👍

The kebabs have really improved. Had one the other day,it was so good I could've eaten another one. It wasn't because it wasn't big enough,it was just so tasty.

Been in there quite a few times since it change hands and the food is excellent. There mixed grill is great and the chilli sauce has a nice bite to it. To top it of the cost is very reasonable.

The food is terrible sorry if you dont like what I said but I was in a couple of months ago and the food was bad I cant help that not even my kids liked the food if you are a new owner sorry but if your the same one deal with it I have had plenty of kebabs yous where dull thin and dry the chips I could get better ones from my own kitchen n how would you know if I was a customer or not I physically dont have to come into your shop to have tryed the food so dont get all nansy just because you dont like what I have to say freedom of speech and I didnt get any message from you asking me anything and how can you know I have never been a customer you wouldn't know for certain would you

Best kebab house outside of Bradford. The doner meat wasn't dry or saturated in fat and the flavour was perfect, you've got yourself a regular customer for sure. Can't rate the place enough 👌

Not sure what's going on here food last night was not good totally got the order wrong as well. Mixed chicken doner was so greasy made pita bread go solid with the fat not much salad asked for chilli sauce wasn't on it. Asked for 2 portions of chips with garlic sauce got one with no sauce, also asked for 2reg donner and 1 reg chicken got 1 donner and 2 chicken best of it was the guy wrote it all down as I ordered then seemed to give me what he wanted to. Sorry fallas but with so many places to get food in Carterton you didn't come up to scratch
