Mcdonalds Unit A in South Somerset

Obnoxiously loud music. Guess that’s what happens when kids run a place. No chicken mayo’s. Cold burgers. Some rubbish sonic toy from months ago instead of the yugioh one. They never ever gave the correct toys here. Prob as the staff take them all.

Do NOT go here for a MCPLANT. Sorry to anyone who regularly does. About a year ago, 29th April 2023 to be precise. I had my first McPlant from here and then during the night, and day after, I was not very well. Had not eaten anything other than the McPlant that day. A year on now and this has happened numerous times. Guess I don't learn my lesson.... Not sure what they are doing wrong with the McPlants, you'd think surely they wouldn't make you so sick considering it's not dead animals....but, yeah, whatever. So much for wanting to invite non-meat eaters into their establishment and put something for them, just to make them ill? Yeah great one.

I broke down in this McDonald car park and the whole team were so lovely and kind. They helped keep my spirits up while I waited to the recovery vehicle to get to me. Honestly top notch service and their Christmas decorations were so cheerful it really helped to brighten my evening.

This is perfect for a quick lunch to break the long A303 drive south west. The restaurant is clean and the food comes promptly. Unfortunately, one of the hoped-for menu items was unavailable (Philly Cheese Stack), disappointing as it;s been heavily advertised

Absolutely amazing service from Felicity this evening very kind and made us feel welcome, food was good too !

I went to McDonald's Wincanton this evening around 8pm and as i entered, there was a load of rowdy young boys messing around grabbing each other and nearly knocked me over! A staff member, Felicity stepped in and asked them to quieten down and stop messing around. She saw I had to step back to avoid the chaos. Thank you so much Felicity for quickly stepping in and protecting the general public.

Excellent quick and friendly service. Food ordered via table service arrived quickly and was fresh and hot. Very cheerful and attentive staff member.

Very disappointed. I was just over 90 minutes and yesterday received a parking fine of £60. Expensive meal. Will never go to a McDonald's again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and Tidy restaurantand outside seating. Quick service, nice food and close to EV chargers.

It was closed dispute being 24hours. Everything online suggested it was open. Turned up afterr getting the ferry home from Poole to find all the lights were on but doors locked and drive through blocked. Phoned up and they said they were closed. Couldn’t use toilet for kids or get a soft drink.

We decided to order via the drive thru and every member of staff was very friendly and attentive. It was mid-day and the food was fresh and hot. We didn't have to wait very long and was very pleased with the food which included the cheese burger, McPlant burger meal and McChicken burger meal. Will definitely visit again.

I feel the staff are too shy to shout receipt numbers. You have to lip read even when it’s quiet. Other than that its very relaxed and can’t fault.

Nice clean restaurant, food always hot and fresh and staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Always happy to visit this place, parking is really good too.

Have been to this new McDonalds in Wincanton on quite a few occasions since it opened using the drive through. Staff are friendly and very pleasant on the ordering hatch. Food is always hot and quickly prepared. Smooth and efficient service - works very well.

The first time I have visited this establishment and was greeted by a friendly assistant who was most helpful. I had my dog with me and I had left her in the car while I used the toilet and ordered. The lovely lady told me to collect her from the car and she would bring my meal to me outside. She also offered water for the dog. What a treat to be served by someone so lovely.

Beware when using this restaurant of the parking restrictions!! I met a colleague for a meeting at this restaurant as we traveled from different ends of the country. We had breakfast and a couple of coffees. But now I’ve been hit with a £60 parking...

Drive through. Never any milkshake. Submitted order but then had to wait ages to pay. Our burgers were not very warm and the chips were cold. We will probably call at Sparkford McDonalds in the future.

Arrived here for a quick bite to eat. Easy to order using the screens inside but a member of staff was on hand should i need it for anything. Food came out fast and was nice and hot. Staff friendly and the place was nice...
