I wonder how it is possible that I ordered the same drinks several times during the night out and paid a different price each time. The music there is getting worse and worse..

Didn't have any food but good music and good service at the bar, as an older person going out ideal place if you want to have a few drinks and a dance hassle free various age groups all in all a good night out.

Nine of us had our Christmas meal this evening. Food was excellent, I had salmon and loads of vegetables. Very reasonably priced and good value. Service was exceptional, the staff were friendly and helpful.. Thanks, I would definitely recommend it and will be going again.

Went with a big group, the bouncers were rude and unwelcoming. Inside, the bar was empty. We enjoyed ourselves until were asked to leave (despite the group being sober). Safe to say, we shall not be returning. Seems to be a bigger problem for the vastly empty bar than for us.

Always have a great night in rock. Bar staff work really hard to serve quickly and friendly. Great atmosphere. Various DJs all good in particular the tall DJ his music style is the reason we come in and stay in, just struggle to get on the dance floor as it gets so rammed when he's playing 🔥🔥

ONLY OPEN FRI & SAT …. For some reason someone seems incapable of correcting their opening hrs in any social media website. Everywhere we look it still says open wed- sun even on google. Seriously it’s 2023 can someone please update their times. Also can’t understand why this popular eating place is on a 2 day week.

Came here on a rare girls night out. We were spoiled by the service of Nathan and the young he was training! Friendly staff made the night.

came here for my birthday and was spoken to horribly by one of the female managers with blonde hair for no reason. Came in completely sober and me and my friends kept our selves to ourselves. She clearly just wanted someone to pick on. Probably one of the worst experiences ever and I don’t think I’ve met anyone so rude and disrespectful towards someone. Not worth visiting here and certainly won’t be coming again

Me and my friends came here on the 26 Nov 2022. The club smells really bad all over the place. The toilets werent very clean either. The drinks are pricey. I wouldn't go in there for food with these bad standards. We got into the club at 10pm ish. The dj was rubbish. I asked for two songs and the dj said he'd play them later. I asked again later in the evening he didn't play them. He went on to play 80s and 90s music my friend asked for Bon Jovi he said he'd see. But again he didn't play it. So all together very disappointing evening. We payed five pounds to get in and you can't put your belongings anywhere either.

Bar manager is a self obsessed, full of herself asshat, apparently you're not allowed to bang on the bar to the brat of the music, who knew??? C**t

Just got back from a "Peppa Pig"party. On the door we were told that Peppa Pig was sick so Moana was there. No idea who Moana is, but my wons had been looking forward to seeing Peppa all week. They had some Peppa Pig songs on and screens with the show playing, and also some printouts with colouring pencils. But that was it. Nothing we couldn't have done at home. The meal was mediocre. There was glass all over the dance floor. A parent had to inform staff and then they swept it up. I then found a pile of broken glass on the bar. They need to seriously rethink health and safety. What a waste of £8.

Music is terrible, playing old rap songs from 20 years ago. Boiling hot inside, no AC. Wait 20 mins at the bar to get severed, then they serve you a hot beer. This has happened on more than one occasion . Coke's are flat also.

The staff was really nice, food was presented well. But the meat of the burger just crumbled, I didn't really enjoy it. Thankfully prices are reasonable

They looked after us amazingly and made my birthday meal extra special with some thoughtful touches. Was in Yeovil for a couple of nights and went here for a few drinks. All drinks were £1.50 each from 5 until 9 from Wednesday until Sunday even the coctails which were well made and full strength or a pint of Peroni. Can't see how they do it so cheap. Great service from the barmaid on Thursday, only downside was it was quite cold in the place, most people kept their jackets on. Didn't eat there but the menu was very reasonably priced.

£1.50 a pint happy hour, advertised as 5 till 9 however; it started at 12, also free kids meals and meal deals for adults, good afternoon out.

Popped in on Christmas eve for a bite to eat and a beer. Food was very good and very well priced. Staff were great and friendly. Can reccomend the falafel burger.

Burger was ok taste wise but not very good value for money. Chips arrived cold waited over 25 minutes for a drink. Toilets were in a bad state and overall wasnt a good experience. Its expensive portions are small and there is better places to go

Went to yeovil for my sons navy pass out ,decided to go out and celebrate,we came across Chicago rock ,omg unbelievable all drinks £1.50 😍,& food buy 1 get one half price ,we had a fantastic night ,good music ,staff were very lovely ❤️ Food was spot on too

I've spend my birthday with my friends at Chicago Rock and I couldn't have choose a better place! We came bit late as kitchen has just closed but manager was so kind to ask kitchen to take our order and so on; delicious food, lush music and very nice service ! Highly recommend!

Currently Chicago Rock in Yeovil have a two for one offer on food and all drinks £1.50. The food is ridiculous value at that price and I will certainly go back even when the offer is over as it’s excellent value for money, food is really good, and the staff are excellent.

Normally go here after Karma doesnt get busy until after 11pm but drinks cheaper before then open late as well good range of drinks available but i would request ordering a Chambord into the bar my favourite

Not been here since the new owners took over but wow. New menu is amazing very basic but tasty food. Cocktails are fairly priced and taste amazing. Staff are welcoming and dress professionally. Greeted with a smile and seen to straight away. Starter came out within 5 minuets and mains weren’t far behind the starters once finished.

I've never ate here except for this one time we went to a quiz and won Nachos. Dancing is fun, music is great very rarely do bands make it from 9-11 but not the CR fault. Don't understand the pricing arrangements as prices seem to change depending on who you ask at the bar.

Yeovil’s top drinking hole for masses, rivalled perhaps only by Wetherspoons. Don’t expect much. Drinks aren’t cheap. Music is stuck in the 00s it seems, and there will be fighting. Has a smoking area. Is opposite a kebab shop, which is a good and bad thing. Taxi rank is also right outside. I’ve heard they do live music.

Been waiting 30 min to be serve at the bar. They seems to serve only people they know and ignore rest. Never again

Got refused entry tonight as we were laughing when we got to the front door. Told to drunk but we were not drunk at all. Very disappointing as been coming here for years. Not again

It was my first time visiting. The band were great, the crowd really seemed to love them. The service was quick and friendly. Definitely will come back.

Potentialy a great venue. Needs more bands. They're great. They have a coffee machine, though couldn't get one. They said its a bar. Oh well, that's a shame, as some people are driving and would appreciate a coffee, especially as the air conditioning was freezing and everyone kept their coats on.

Its a bit on the expensive side for a small town like yeovil compared to everything around it, and on a busy night it can take a lifetime to get served at the bar. Besides that music is always great and the atmosphere.

Really nice for a meal and a drink

It takes a ridiculous amount of time to get served at the bar on a Saturday night, no matter what time of year. The gents toilets are awful, and wouldn't hurt from a cleaner visiting them occasionally throughout the night. The sinks have been broken for months, it wouldn't take a huge amount of money or time to fix them!

Boring tacky and a bit of a dive.... sinks in toilets falling off the wall.... would make a great youth club.

Overpriced, quite smelly and after a certain time at night everyone in the gents loo develops the sniffles.

Not too shabby, it's always appears to be clean and the staff are friendly. Good variety of drinks and the food I've had there has always been hot and came out reasonably quick. As far as food/bars in Yeovil go there are a lot worse in town.

When I paid for my order with contactless payment the member of bar staff took 3 payments from me. When I soon realised from my bank statement I called up and emailed on several occasions to advise this was not the case and I wanted a refund. The manager of the bar told me he would not be able to do anything due to taxes? And then passed me along to customer services who told me there was no refund available at all without a receipt, to which I was lost for words, why would a buyer request a receipt for something they never bought and didn't know had been stolen from them in the first place. I advised that the member of staff who served me had already confirmed with the manager of Chicago rocks that there was an error with the transaction on the night and I still have received no refund. The bar has all 90s cheese music, the atmosphere is tense and there are regular fights that break out. I would not recommend this place at all! Worst bar service, bad night, not social, a complete dive.

Hmmm this place is okay but preferred it when it was Modello. The alochol on offer isn't very good, the cocktails they do aren't very good, btw a martini doesn't have lemonade in it(!) I think the issue is it is run on a shoe string and though the staff are friendly and welcoming and you can have a laugh with them, I think they're under trained. Passable.

This restaurant belies its exterior, visited with a large group just before Christmas. Great atmosphere and food.

Nice bar, one of the few places to go out in Yeovil. Food is quite mediocre, but the staff is absolutely lovely, I've spent some amazing nights here. Recommend!

We booked a booth for a party. Really good value and great table service. The staff were really attentive and made sure we had a really good night.

Teníamos un fabuloso servicio de personal, que era muy servicial y nos reservó un stand. El precio era genial y éramos un grupo de 6 amigos de escuela. Fiesta y bailaron toda la noche con servicio de mesa y cócteles estupendos. No comimos aquí pero fue una divertida noche de fiesta.

Qué puedo decir de Chicago Rock Cafe Yeovil quizás yo fui Rose peinarse vasos como cuando fue originalmente en Chicago es siempre fue un brillante noche cursi con música y un buen viejo singsong. Todo lo que puedo decir que esta vez estaba decepcionado por no decir lo menos era mis mejores amigos de despedida de soltera y queríamos que fuera especial así que alquilamos una cabina VIP y decidió en los cócteles y bizcochos. Cuando llegamos, el lugar estaba lleno, ya que el rugby era en la pantalla grande frente a la puerta este no estaba mal pero cuando la segunda pantalla frente a nosotros fue puesto en el lugar se convirtió en aún más alto! En este punto nos preguntamos cuánto tiempo el rugby sería mostrando y nos dijeron que será hasta antigua 10 o'clock!

Nice venue before the the locals turn up and turn the place into a perpetual hen party. Its a sham. But you can only serve the public you have.

Absolutely disgusting!!! Pasta wasn't cooked and still stone cold, meet was all dry and tasteless! They had a promotion on saying £1 for certain drink after twelve, but decided to stop that promotion just before midnight as it was busier than thought it would be! To me it is unacceptable to stop an offer on the night!

Lunch with a friend, nice tasting food, good size portions. Restaurant was quiet and service was ok if not a bit too attentive.

Awful, just awful, slow service & cold food, they just couldn't cope with us, only 20 plp sure was glad it wasn't more, I returned my meal as cold had a wait for another meal (or could have been same one heated up), advised said meal probed at 89, just one thing to say B*******, this is a cook your talking to, lol, Def no repeat visit!!!!

My husband and I visited late afternoon after a busy day Xmas shopping. Having never eaten here we were unimpressed by the look of the restaurant from the outside but on entering surprised how huge the place is. Seated immediately and drink orders taken. They gave us plenty of time to look through the menu before orders taken . It was a Sunday late afternoon and apart from ourselves there were two othe tables occupied. We started off with garlic ciabatta strips with a dip. Shared a portion which was very generous. I ordered the chicken burger and my husband the beef burger came with chips and coleslaw. There is an offer on for martinis at £3 each Sunday to Friday. Food and drinks all very reasonably priced. Ample parking opposite in the public car park which is free on Sunday and other days the restaurant will reimburse the parking fee. Whe next in Yeovil will definitely eat here again.

We visited during lunchtime and it was extremely quiet. I could only see two other people eating. We ordered drinks and we're seated and advised that there was 20% off all meals from the menu which was nice. The American style burger and chips was not long to arrive. The presentation was excellent and quality of food very good.

Myself and 13 girlies went to Chicago rock last night for my hen do and I would love to say what a fab night we had! The food was gorgeous and the service was fab! Everyone was really helpful and even with a bunch of rowdy ladies to deal with they coped fantastically well and were so accommodating xx The place looks fab too... Will definitely be going there again and would recommend to it to all ... Thank you Chicago rock and especially Ben for making my hen do so lovely xxxxxxxxx

I would like to say what a fantastic place Chicago Rock is. My family and I went for a evening meal to celebrate a family engagement and were recommended by a friend. We were all very impressed with the venue! Great style, fab menu and servers. We never thought that Yeovil would offer a "classy" place to wine and dine, and so we were very impressed to find that Chicago rock offers this. The menu is great and offers a great Selection of food. We all had something different and loved it all ! I chose to have the (cheesy oink burger), My god it was good!! I haven't had a burger like that since I lived in America. I Highly recommend this! The rest of the family were also really pleased with what they had. The service was great. When we first arrived, we were warmly welcomed and shown to out seats. Once seated and we were all settled, our drinks orders were taken and we were then left to have a look through the menu. I really do have to thank the waiter for putting up with us, as we were all a bit picky with what we wanted and a bit of a pain. But the waiter just smiled and he just had a bit of banter with us, which was great. Thank you once again! Once the food arrived we all tucked in and it was just lovely to have such great food. We also managed to squeeze in some pudding. I think we all had cheese cake, again it was lovely. Thank you again Chicago rock for a wonderful evening, we will be coming back for more!Highly recommend.

Only 3 tables in for lunch and the service was slow, servers were rude and more interested in chatting to each other. Food was awful (cold hard pitta bread with a bit of salad thrown in and black limp salad leaves as garnishes), and all the manager could muster to offer was one free meal which had been sent back and not eaten and free drinks even though we were on free refills anyway!!! Pretty shocking lunch/service and no real resolve from the manager... We will not be going back.

had been here before a few times and had bad experiences ( due to bad service)but have since returned and It has improved greatly.friendly and polite waitress and waiter which made the whole experience so much better.maybe they finally saw that one particular bad apple was putting people off coming in.

what a brilliant night, good company, good food even though we only had snacks, a few googlers but if you must win thats your choice, made all the better by steve carpenter and the service of the waiters, good fun night all round

Had a lovely lunch with friends today, staff we great and so helpful when i realised my onions were cooked in butter (i have an allergy) then bought me out a new meal. Superb service and will most definately eat there again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and happy service who were very enthusiastic about how great the food was there. The food was truly amazing and was a good portion, I would totally recommend eating there or enjoying the nightly entertainment.

Enjoyed the Tuesday night quiz night recently at Chicago Rock Cafe. Wasn't sure what to expect, but the place had style after its recent revamp. Liked the booth style seating which worked well for easy conversation. As an added bonus, there is a buy-one-get-one-free on the mains on a Tuesday which makes it great value. Food was tasty and portions large (especially the desserts!). The quiz itself was very good - long enough to feel worthwhile, but pacey so it didn't drag. A really good range of questions and nice to see there are a few regular teams. Also an option to win money with the spin-the-wheel game at the end as well. All in all, good value for money, a fun night out and prompt and attentive service. Have already asked around at work to get a team together for a return visit...

After returning from University to visit the family, I was really looking forward to spending a lunch together. We decided to visit Chicago Rock to see the recent changes & we always enjoyed eating at Modello's so thought we'd give it a go.I have to admit, except for the lights (Love them!) the decor is actually worse than Modello. They've managed to make what was once a light, airy establishment very dark, dingy and it actually feels quite dirty in there. Most disappointing. What was more disappointing, though, was the poor service. Infact, some of the worst I have ever witnessed and experienced. We were taken by our waiter (in an empty restaurant) to a table with ripped seats. Seriously? You have only been open several months. Very poor. We were then asked, within a second of sitting and catching our breath, if we were ready to order drinks. There's a pleasant looking wine list on the table, at least let us look at it. Once it came to ordering, our waiter was extremely smug, rude and incredibly sarcastic. I ordered water which was replied with 'Water? That's boring. Oh well'...Wow, really? Does this man want me to drink and drive? He then carried our drinks over and informed us that he believes carrying drinks should be an Olympic Sport. Cringe. When it came to ordering food, he had to come back after we ordered as he forgot to ask if we wanted Popcorn Chicken or Prawns. This is in an empty restaurant, by the way. Nope, I couldn't believe it either.The food arrived and I really enjoyed mine. Certainly cannot fault it, the chef seems to be doing a very good job. I had the Sharing Platter, complete with Loaded Nachos, Pulled Pork Burrito, Popcorn Chicken, Ribs & a side order of Fries. Each component was delicious. We all enjoyed it very much so please pass my compliments onto the chef.One of the members of the party ordered a Mohjito to drink. The woman behind the bar placed it on a wooden plank on the table which she didn't warn us about (it slid around alot) and so unforunately the drink slipped and went all over the table. What did the lady do?Help? Haha, next joke. She laughed her head off. She couldn't control herself. Laughing at someones misfortunate is extremely poor form, especially when you are serving them. As it wasn't entirely our fault, we expected her to perhaps to make another one for us, or to atleast knock it off the bill. Neither happened. We were shocked.We won't be returning as we did enjoy the food but unfortunately the service wasn't good enough.Thank you for some very nice food though!

Excellent range of cocktails on the menu, managed to get though half of them :) A lot of choice on the menu. Me and my friend had the fajitas and the presentation and taste were faultless. We ran out if wraps and were surprised when the waitress offered us more. Will be back again soon

Went on Wednesday evening for my girlfriends birthday and all 4 of us really impressed. Fantastic service, really friendly attentive staff and surprisingly amazing food. Their burgers are the best in Yeovil hands down.

The new look Chicago Rock restaurant in Yeovil was the perfect venue last night for a quiz night/girly catch up. Really comfortable place to eat and chat to friends, and I was surprised by the range of food on offer. Service was brilliant and worked well with the quiz night - would definitely go again, especially as they have 2 for 1 on dinner menu every quiz night. Great family venue too with much better food than Frankie & Benny's.

Couldn't fault anything. Staff attentive, swift but not too fast delivery and quality food. Would recommend it to anyone
