McDonald's in South Somerset

Very tasty! Service was a bit slow (37 minutes wait) but we got there in the end, we ordered via the app! Oh and surprise surprise.. The ice cream machine was out of order 🤣🤣

Horrendous service on 1st dec. placed our order and waited half hour for it, one burger was missing so told the staff. Looked at us like we were stupid, waited another half hour for missing burger. By then the rest of the family had eaten and the food for the missing burger had gone cold. Overall hour wait. Nearly every order from other people were coming back with things wrong or missing. Plenty of staff obviously with no clue as to what they’re doing. Woman who was presumably the manager was very rude to us and her staff, no apologies whatsoever apart from one guy who said sorry to us who didn’t need to as he done nothing wrong at all. Never have good service at this McDonald’s and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Not sure they could organise a piss up in a brewery

So slowwwwww…… Never book off the App as you’ll be bottom of the list…..

Ordered over an hour ago. Still waiting. Keep pushing time back. So food will be cold and soggy. Going down to pick up. Won't bother again. No apologies. Wish they do a minus. Would do -5 on all of it.

Fancy ordering from Uber eats? Think again. Past 3 times I’ve ordered had dips missing or brownie. It’s a joke you’re literally stealing from people. Phoned up the third time and the manager was very understanding, I asked if she could double check everything was there to which she replied of course. Received our food, cold chips, cold burger, cold pie, missing sauces (which I paid for), chips only half full, wrong burger and no straws for the drinks. Absolute joke. Won’t be ordering from here again. Not sure what half wits you have making orders but maybe it’s time for a change in staff?

Waited hour and half for them to give me my small order.. drove off to find that they left some of my order out and gave wrong sauces! Food was cold aswell! Last time I come here!

By far the slowest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to 45 minutes in the drive through come on that’s crazy unfortunately I was already committed it the que to go in. It wasn’t busy in there so I really don’t understand it

Fast , clean ,polite and good value ! Toilets and clean as clean can be . They even put my large coffee in my own cup ! And it was cheap

Its OK. Don't always get your order right when busy but foods always fresh

The McFlurry/milkshake machine always seems to not be in service/cleaning it.

What is the point of advertising yourselves as open and accepting app orders (which you then can't cancel!) if you aren't able to fulfill the orders because of "system updates"??? Ordered on the app, order accepted. Got there and told it would be 90 minutes wait. Couldn't cancel order. Couldn't re-order at another branch on app because "order in progress" (and surprise surprise, the other Yeovil branch also couldn't fulfill orders!). If they weren't accepting the app orders, I'd be more understanding, but to get there and be told it'll be over an hour is not on. I'm working nights and just want some hot food on a cold night, it's not asking a lot. Not to mention items are frequently forgotten or you are handed someone else's order!

Small portions, paid £20 for 2 medium meals and one happy meal which in all fairness for poor food I think is a joke. The chips were practically white, and the portion was what i'd class as half, same for the drinks they were barely over half the way up the cup. Total rip off

My grandson loves the milkshakes.. yet to get one after so so so many attempts. Give up!!!!!! Staff are rude and don’t worry about customers relations, won’t bother anymore as obviously don’t need the custom.

Lysander Road is getting there. This my second visit and this time for a McBreakfast egg muffin with a substantial hash brown. Did the job and it was a Saturday morning so things were taking a while. Lysander Road making a comeback after perhaps being in the shadow of Flushings Meadow for a while. Now Yeovil is on the up in McDonalds status.

Huge delays with food. Manager clearing orders before food is ready to make it look like targets are met. No milk for tea, no spoon for porridge. Men's wc floor was swimming.

Ordered at drive through only 2 burgers. Ask to park and wait. 30 mins later I went in and had to ask for the order. Pointless drive through. No apology for forgetting order.

We rarely go to McDonalds we wanted something quick and convenient after a day out, staff are polite but extremely busy but still find time for customers requests.

Ordered direct from their own app, the food took an hour to arrive and when it did it was stone cold. Called macdonalds straight away to be told sorry we can't do anything about you have to call uber eats. Called uber eats and again they couldn't care that the food was cold. Don't order for delivery unless you want cold food.

Disappointed at the state that this restaurant was in and the speed of service. Bins overflowing and food on the floor. Lots of people waiting for food but seating area not full.

Below average McDonald's, took 20 minutes to get chicken selects when it really wasn't busy (at least 7 free tables inside and maybe 3 people stood waiting for orders).

The service was great, there was a manager there called Sophie, she was very helpful and attentive. I very much enjoyed the experience today, thank you. Food was great

Pulled into drive through, no queue and quite empty at 19:30 on 17/08. Waited ages with no response at speaker, another car pulled in and could hear they were being served. Then someone female decided to take my order, 2 simple meals. Drove to pay, guy was busy so waited a bit and paid. Then to collection window. After 5 mins given a fruit shoot, then more waiting and a milkshake came. The after everyone doing nothing asked to park and wait. Went to wait after complaining about laziness by rude and incompetent staff and eventually food arrived. People who were behind me still at the window when I left. Terrible service and staff taking the fast out of fast food. Must be the worst in UK,

Clean premises, reasonable speed turn around. Screens showed order ready about 5 mins before it was called, chips were not well cooked but everything else was good.

Don’t know if you can call it fast food after 67 minutes and losing your order off the board twice. It’s so hot I could cook my food on the table. I could have found a cow in a field. Butchered it. Made bread. Grown salad. Had a teenage child from birth and trained them to make me my food faster.

Terrible service, 20 minutes to receive food at a quiet time of 9pm, a man waited 45 minutes for a coffee, when food arrived order was missing 3 items and all fries were hot but not fried properly. Completely ignoring customers at front trying to sort order issues, manager running around shouting and totally out of their depth

Foods generally good, breakfast is better. Got our order wrong a couple of times so make sure to double check.

This is by far the worst McDonald’s. Service so slow. Have waited up to 30 mins for a meal and it was still cold. No ice in drinks. Toilets unhygienic.

I don't know why we come back here. No milkshakes or mcflurrys available as usual, only half a portion of chips and we were given a double cheeseburger instead of a triple.

This isn’t the first time to hustle to get my order right which I have been charged for. The system needs updating and improving, i make an order on the app, complete it at drive through, get a code, get a notification from bank on the transaction, no order to collect the window coz it’s on the store system…

Long waits poor service, food slapped together and cold, the manager looked overwhelmed from the volume. Compared to other McDonald's this place is awful. Had to wait 25 minutes for them to find my 4 mcflurries, went to counter and they didnt have a clue where my order was, I said to the gut it was on the drinks dispense bit and had been sat there a while. No apology or anything. Terrible

It's a McDonald's you know what your getting in this one they can be a little slow

Waiting to order at the drive through for about 2 minutes, so I drove and ordered at the first window. Had to wait about 5 minutes at the collection point where I was given the drink and the server disappeared without telling me what was happening. After about another minute I confirmed with another server the rest of the order and was told in a surly voice "they're just getting it". Not had bad service like this for a long time.

Terrible! Macdonalds pay 10 people to serve 1 customer for 30minutes to an hour in this branch. Then you get substandard food.

I called by phone and i asked if they got any MC flurry and After i went in there in 20 minutes time they Just told me they don't have anymore. Really poor service.

Partner ordered food on App, realising App had added double order, retracted extra order. Went to collect and order was still doubled up. Tried to sort out with duty manager for refund… manager was adamant and borderline rude stating she could not refund out of till or on card and would have to contact McDonalds via App, happy to take our money though!! Now been 3 days in which still waiting for reply…. Now some £15 down…. Disgrace!

Had a long wait, they had to cook more food

the service was terrible we waited over 20 minutes for two burgers and one large fry, there was rubbish all over the floor in the main restaurant as well as the kitchen. all the bins were full and hadn't been emptied so there was rubbish piled all over the top of the bins. if you ask me, worst mcdonald's i've been to yet

Basically, it's too delayed. I waited about 28 minutes and after I asked they gave me food. Even eat-in service has been provided through bags. The food was overall good but the service needed to be upgraded.

It’s called fast food for a reason. 45 minutes to get a happy meal and some chicken nuggets.!

22 minutes from order to delivery for 2 coffees this morning in the drive through, lots of customers behind me reversed out and drove off, I suspect Costa had a good morning having opened just an 100m away. Shame as I normally arrive a lot earlier and they have been improving.

Night drive through guy is rude and i shewed him my barcode to collect ponts but its not do e he just scan by formality but not added in system. Its on 24 june after 12:30 am night

I don't usually complain however this isn't the first time this has happened where I have ordered one thing and subsequently received the wrong item. I ordered a mc chicken sandwich through the drive through and instead received the item in the below photo.

Went through the drive thru and ordered, got to the last window to be told they were waiting on one item so I was asked to park up and my food would be bought out..40 mins later I'm still waiting so I go inside the shop..was greeted by a very young girl who had no idea what was going on! 10 mins later I was given my order and told it had been cooked fresh..I grabbed it and got In the car..literally drove round the corner to morrisons carpark..got the food out the bag and the nuggets were soggy and limp, so were the chips!!! I had had enough at this point and ate 2 and threw the rest back in the bag!! Shocking!!

Not the best McDonalds food wise but excellent service. A man (manager?) enquired if everything was OK with our meal and even offered to take our rubbish for us which was much appreciated.

Fairly decent McDonald's. There is a large car park with outdoor eating area. Large clean indoor area. Touch screen ordering and table service available at this site.

Waited 20 minutes for my breakfast order this morning, and when I got it the bacon muffin and coffee were cold. Ignored those inside, focused on cars and online orders only

The service was appalling. It took over 30 minutes just to get two coffees. They then were the wrong size. Cool rather than hot. The duty manager could not cope. There was no leadership from him.

Great if you want a quick breakfast like we did before my daughters football match. We did have to park up after using the drive through as there was a slight delay, only a few minutes. The food arrived hot and was tasty.

It is not 24 hours, stay in town don't waste time here.

Double egg and bacon Mcmuffin and hash brown were fine and great value. Good black coffee. I wish I had ordered a second hash brown, but that's my fault.

Waited 36 minutes in what felt like a sauna for a cold cheeseburger and for them to forget my brownie. Atleast they managed to correctly do the drinks.

Customer service is appalling!!! I have been served by Michelle , who appeared as a senior staff ( from the office - Michelle’s words) and her customer interaction was shocking ! She was abrupt, unhelpful and when told that this Mac Donald always had issues with delayed food ( at that point we were waiting for 30 minutes for our food ), Michelle asked me why I was coming here . This particular member of staff should learn from her younger colleagues how to deliver a very polite and good customer service . A negative impression is a lasting impression, Michelle.

The fries are under cooked, this is the 3rd time it's happened, won't be ordering again

Another McDonald's visited where it was a case of "sorry we don't have that" but the food was good just one query when the order was placed £9.09 the price of the meal £8.93 why the discrepancy surely the drink would be part of the meal

Worst macdonalds in UK.Every night they shut the place turn away over 50 cars every night staying system updating .last night i was told it will take 2 hours for system update. I have worked in Macdonlads and it normally takes 15 mins .The owner need to be caution about the money he is losing. They are scaming people every night and turning down over 30 to 50 cars .

Absolute disaster! Was waiting 25 minutes for a chicken wrap and chips. Finally got it delivered to immediately find the chips were cold! Complained to an employee who took ages to get me a replacement

Food was alright came here for the breakfast it was nearly empty only about 2 other orders on screen and took them 10 mins to make a flatbread

Food was very hot on the occasion I went, had the halloumi fries too which were spectacular and tasty!

Absolutely dreadful. The only item of food that was remotely warm was the hash brown. Took my flatbread back only for the replacement to be tepid rather than cold. II watched food coming down the chute, most were ending up unwrapped. Second visit there will not be a third.

Bunch of awful losers. Always something missing from your order, also last night I've ordered chicken nuggets and halloumi sticks to receive a box with old and dry nuggets while the halloumi sticks were nice and fresh. Called their manager and found out he's as useless as his team. Never go there wasting your time and money with this awful people. Last week I was there on the drive through waiting for my order , I saw how one of their workers dropped a bag full of food on the floor, then took the mess up from the floor and put it in a new bag while swearing and pointing middle fingers to the receipt for the customers. Awful place, awful people, lowest quality food. Never again. Thanks

Not usually to bad but 2night jeez, 2 many customers & not enough staff, asked for no pickles but obviously they can't read as pickles in it all, happy meals missing toys & to top it off, hot chips & cold fruit shoot drinks put in the same bag, when mentioned it as cold drinks will cool down hot chips pretty quick, i was told don't worry there bottles so won't spill, duh that's not the point moron...

The crew named "KELVIN" is very helpful and hardworking! He definitely deserves a recognition..he make sure that the restaurant is clean/tidy.

Ordered food and walked out after waiting over an hour. Staff couldn't care less and are a bunch of useless slugs. Absolutely chaotic and do not go here unless you've a spare 2 hours to waste.

The burgers tasted abit strange, and there was no McFlurrys!! But it was still an ok experience even though they got a part of the order wrong, then threw away the mistake in the bin..

This restaurant can’t cope with demand. I’ve had missing orders, missing items, drive thru is ALWAYS park up, waited 30mins for ‘fast food’ etc. it’s the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been too in that they seem categorically unable to deliver the food you order.

COME HERE IF YOU WANT THE BEST!!! The attention to detail and customer service was above and beyond what you'd expect from even the finest of dining, the use of correct uniform and warm smiles just made my morning so much better. The quality of window cleaning was second to none.

Came here at half 10 at night on a Sunday for two milkshakes. Was waiting at the drive through speakers for 15 minutes for someone to ask for my order.. another car pulled up to the other speaker and was served after 5, whilst I was STILL waiting. I then decided to drive to the pay window as clearly no one could be bothered to speak to me on the speaker, here I waited another 10 minutes before finally a girl asks for our order, we ask for our milkshakes and the girl hesitates and says hmm no we’re not doing them now, so we asked for ice cream and were met with the same response. Clearly nobody could be bothered to do their job and made us wait 30 minutes whilst nobody was even in the restaurant and the single car ahead of us had received their order and left. These employees are lazy and rude and wasted my time. There is always an issue with this McDonald’s. Avoid at all costs.

I got a sweet chilli (grilled) chicken wrap and it was half full and the chicken was cold and uncooked and when I went to get a refund I was ignored until a trainer came along and after like 20mins I finally got a refund I think they should have give a bit more than the price of the wrap but I got was the price of a wrap.

This really is the most useless, incompetent McDonalds anywhere. Bought 2 Big Tasty meals, 1 with bacon, the other with no salad. We got no bacon in either, and fully loaded with salad in both. Needless to say, they were tepid, not hot and needless to say the milkshake machine was broken. Oh, and as usual, the drivethru ended with the phrase ‘can you park up’!!! WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE DRIVETHRU??? If you have to park up, just close the drivethru or at least put a sign up so that people know they may as well go in!!!!!!!! I’d give it zero if it would let me. There’s a good reason it was once the lowest rated Maccies in England, it still should be. The owner/franchisee/management seriously need to make some changes here.
