Disgusting every time you go is there no cleaners work here

Very few members of staff working a very busy Saturday evening. It looked an incredibly stressful situation and the staff were handling it brilliantly - credit to them!

no crayons for kids, no staff at till had to shout to get attention and waited a long time for food. the staff was nice

Would give it 0 stars if I could. The worst McDonald’s I have ever had. Burgers and chicken nuggets were dry and tasted like they had been sat out for hours

Fake and false advertisement they have chicken nuggets on the menu for £4.49 I've got pics and it's not they say they have never done that , the food is always cold hear aswell please avoid

Rudderless Ship. Waited at the counter for around 3 minutes with a young lady at the back who'd seen me then eventually ask if I wanted serving food. Obviously become too lazy or forgotten how to take cash due to the order machines and apps. Dudnt gave to wait too long for food to be fair but the ones meals were crammed into 1 small bag which tore. Was asked if I'd like another bag which was then just passed to me do had to pack my own food. Was also cries from the back of some dirt of manager trying to get the workers to actually work.

Best Big Mac I've ever had, wish all Big Macs tasted this good . The McCrispy was very good too

Mcdonalds are all pretty much the same, the food is addictive, very tasty, and quick. worth a visit.

Do not like the time you have to wait to be served at the counter . By one young girl on her own need more help on the tills. But When she needed to ask the supervisor If She Could Accept A scottish Bank note is it Legal in England. I WAS SHOCKED. AND INFORMED HER IT WAS OK WHICH THE SUPERVISOR HELPED HER .

Very slow service,more concerned about sorting out uber drivers than serving customers ,car park always full of delivery drivers sat waiting ,nowhere to park because of them.

Food wrong 3 times then cold, gave up as a bad job in the end.

I get that we were there on a rather busy day of the year, but at 4pm on Easter Monday it was far from heaving. The place was filthy, bins overflowing, dispensers empty, floors desperately in need of at least a sweep. Fries and nuggets were luke warm. Was grateful that the chap constantly wiping his nose with his hands while handling customers meals appeared to not have any interaction with our order.

The dirtiest McDonald's I have ever been to! We struggled to find a table not covered in food crumbs, sauce, and debris. The floor was worse, and the toilets were not much better. The food was standard, though, luke warm. The best bit was the generous portions of mcflurry and sauce.

Bins overflowing, food all over the floor. Kitchen looked disorganised and floor filthy. Staff milling about but nobody seemed to be giving any direction. Food also cold. Staff happy to swop cold and incorrect order when I asked.

Easter Friday 1pm. C hungry after a long drive. Decided to stop for a drive through. It was vvvv busy, queuing to order in two filter lanes. Wife convinced me to go for it as I wanted to drive away, expecting a long wait. With 6 cars ahead of us and other in the filter lane next to us. We breezed though. Within 5 mins of starting to queue we were sat eating hot fresh exceptional filet of fish, crisp hot but chicken selects and large crisp fries. Incredible service and quality on a v busy bank holiday. Well done to a polite and efficient well drilled team ❤️

The young girl at the drive thru service hatch was rude and when I when it got my food after waiting 20 minutes in the queue it was cold. Then entering the restaurant to see the manager who was scruffy with a mucky and very creased shirt and looked and if he wasn't bothered will not be returning to this franchise again.

Good quality coffee and the new breakfast wrap is brilliant

Trampy McDonald’s, there was blood in the bathroom, the tables were scruffy and the whole store was absolutely screggedy

Skipty toilet toilet came out of the toilet and it has negative ohio rizz. There was blood in the sink of a skin walker’s victim

The dirtiest macdonalds Ive ever ever been in. Blood in the bathroom sink, most of the tables had food or mess on them. Lack of care and cleanliness given it wasn’t very busy

Usual burger food on a bun. Nothing exciting. Very slow service after 8pm. Waited an age

Loads of issues last night. The impersonal use of these filthly touch screens is horrible. The meal was only saved by a really helpful lady on the counter.

Went through the drive through. It took forever to get served!! When we got home the staff forgot to put in halloumi fries and an happy meal toy even though we had paid for them. Very annoying … and a very disappointed child.

Dirty, slow, cold food. Avoid.

Filthy dining area, food was left for ages on the side so cold by the time it was handed over, staff don't wash hands from cleaning to then handling food. Won't use this one again!

I got chips n chicken wrap n chips were warm but not hot the chicken wrap was delicious though I must say I did enjoy that Staff were friendly n busy we didn't wait long which was good to say they were busy

Went inside as a queue for drive through. I was only person in when I got there Took 25 mins to get my not very fast, food! People were flying through drive through. About 5 people waiting when I left. I could see loads of drinks had been made, chips had been made but no food coming through. I would have asked where my order were but appeared staff were all hovering at the back? No apology for late food. Food was hot and tasted fresh hence the 5 stars. Service was slow and resteraunt atmosphere was Dyer.

I ordered a Big and Tasty Meal, after a long wait the chips/fries were all burnt, I had to throw them away because they were burnt and tasteless, the burger was edible but not put together well because even in its box the salad was outside of the burger rather than inside. I definitely will never go to this McDonald's again

We had a drive through and sat in the car park in our vehicle with a nice view of rats scuttling around the bins. Wouldn't recommend!

Waited over 30 minutes for breakfast wrap, asked an assistant with blue hair about our order not helpful very rude. Asked to speak to manager and ended up getting our monback. Other people were also complaining. WORST MCDONALD'S. WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN. AVOID

Tea was cold, spicy chicken burger very average chips not hot seemed to be lots of errors in the orders

Dirty, food on floor, overflowing bins, ketchup stains on tables, boxes of sauces piled on counter. You really need to give your branch managers a kick as this seems to be a common problem at many of your outlets now. Another visit and still just as bad. Food on floor everywhere and bins overflowing.

Second time disappointed, cold coffee cold food, 2nd time no coffee or soft drinks available, had to wait more than 10 min for food, I asked staff what the hold up was ,and was told nothing to do with you mate. Shame....

McDonald's works because you know what the food will be, you know what the ser ice will be like, you know what the facilities will be like and also the atmosphere. This franchise upholds all those corporate values and is a credit to the owners

I ordered breakfast muffin, hash brown cold, bread bun stale and bacon rock hard. Hatch windows of drive through disgusting, makes you wonder how clean the kitchen is.

Awful service - only asked for 3 hash browns and took nearly 25 minutes from queuing in the drive thru to collecting food from the window (and having people who had clearly ordered family meals behind me being prioritised)

It was busy but a long wait between orders. Cold fries, cold burger, slow service. However it was clean and tidy.

Came through the drivethrough and the lad who took our order seemed absolutely thrilled that we were here, he was ace. Really put a smile on my face. Didn't catch his name but I'm sure whichever manager reads this knows who he is. Give the boy a pay rise, he's earned it.

Rude staff , told me policy is they can only take one order per vehicle and I can pay for my friend if I want but he can't order himself .....

As always lukewarm chips. Replaced on request - burgers ok but not what you'd call special - then again it's MacDonald's so don't expect much but as no other alternatives 🤷

Disorganised disaster! Not tidy, saw two employees arguing in the back and super slow. Have been three times now and it's never been any different, always unclean, slow and badly organised.

Pretty cool place to stop and look. You only need 10 - 15 mins to walk to it, take photos and get back to your car. It’s worth it even if you’re on a schedule.

Had coffee from here, poor service and coffee not up to usual McDonald's standards.

Can be a bit busy sometimes, but a hand stop off point on the A64.

That was one of the worst McDonalds Ive been in, None of the self service machines were working. Staff was just standing behind the counter joking round and not taking orders, about 4 people in front of me waiting to place an order.. not a place to go to at all.

The worst McDonald's I've ever had the misfortune of frequenting, the drive-through orders were not done in sequence and many people went in front of me when Queuing as there are two order points, but they seemed more biased to the right hand lane. I was also over charged, based on my experience the manager didn't have a clue about Customer experience or satisfaction. Then the food, well I always new McDonald's food was not great but this was taken to a whole new level. This review is based on my experience, I'm sure any response will try to justify there outlet, however I would suggest people drive on by and find somewhere else.

Repeated disappointment. Last visit very rude staff left us waiting 3 or so minutes for paying. coffee cold. No remorse no apologies. Just nasty expressions from staff. In fact complacent attitudes by both windows. Previously on a visit no burger in burger. Had already driven miles to find no meat in burger. Then other occasions cold cold cold. Food not served, missing items...... Giving this branch a miss in future. Endless chances. But no improvement.

Rather dirty and dishevelled. Fries were undercooked. Toilets were dirty and smelly.

From walking into the store, all tables dirty, even the seats covered in spilled drinks and food. Floors absolutely disgusting and full of litter. I spoke to a manager I was less than polite when I told her to come and have a look at the state of her restaurant, she said she had a cleaner on at the time and I said clearly isn't doing her job, it is disgusting that we are bringing kids into a dirty restaurant, she couldn't really care less. Less than impressed. 👎 Pics were taken after some tables and chairs had been cleaned.

Very, very poor restaurant. I get that it's at a services but still. There's a girl who's cleaning the dining area however she is more bothered about climbing on chairs and ladders to take down the decorations. The floor is a absolute state food still on floor after 40 minutes of dining, tables haven't been wiped and when asked to wipe a table the team member seemed inconvenienced by the request and carried on taking decorations down. The manager doesn't seem to care about his restaurant or the team. Avoid at all cost.

Poorly signed drive through, very confusing. Then missed half our order. I understand they were busy but this was not fun

Standard McDonald's, where I stopped off for a comfort break and some food. The ordering machine was broken, so it didn't print tickets once I'd placed my order. No problem though, as the staff didn't ask to check your order. Toilets were OK.

Order came wrong.... Repeatedly plus the bonus of some cold fries

Booked breakfast on the app before 11. Arrived slightly after and was told I couldn’t have what I’d ordered. They should have put something aside or not let people order breakfast if they can’t provide the food. Poor service from the restaurant itself. Did complain on the feedback site and they sent me two free extra value meals which shows some level of service.

Usual McDonald's standard, I do like this one as an oasis for stopping of at.

Very disappointing visit to this McDonald's for breakfast. The restaurant was very untidy with lots of tables cluttered with leftover meals and the condiment section, as well as being untidy, had no paper napkins. My double bacon muffin arrived with bacon and cheese hanging off of it, and the accompanying hash brown was overcooked and yet nearly cold! The staff looked very unhappy, with one of them looking dishevelled in a uniform which was in dire need of ironing. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I know McDonald's isn't exactly haute cuisine, but I've visited many of their restaurants and all of them have managed to present themselves better than this one. If I were the franchise owner of this particular restaurant, I'd be asking some difficult questions about my management team.

Service is really slow and the people in the area are just as dimwitted

Quite possibly the worst McDonald’s in Britain, firstly the Christmas decorations are reminiscent to a dilapidated retirement home with hundreds of tacky baubles swinging from the ceiling by a thread coupled with a shabby spray on Christmas tree near the bogs. The ceiling also had tiles stoved in with an arctic draft gusting down from above keeping your teeth chattering and further cooling your already ice cold double cheese. The burger was genuinely cold to the touch and tasted abhorrent with the chips being the same and had a serious lacking of the usual McDonald’s salt as they only tasted wet and flavourless. The large coke of which i’d purchased contained more ice than the north pole within the cup as the woke paper straw promptly unraveled in about 12 seconds. Following this diabolical experience here I shan’t darken the door of this haphazard,freezing and overall depressing “fast food” joint again.

Why would you bother, may as well eat your shoes far tastier, and the term fast food is an absolute joke.

Probably the worth macdonald’s you’ll visit. Slow service, cold food, threw most of it away.

Had rude and abrupt service, food was cold, ordered caramel pies and got apple pies in caramel pie cases. Drinks were coke and Coke Zero but they were undrinkable because they were awful. Couldn’t order hot drinks because of a milk issue. Food was smashed into the bags with no care and practically thrown into the car. If this was the first time I would be considerate but it is consistently bad!

The Mcflurry machine is always getting cleaned ate peak times.

The place us dirty. Orders upon orders queuing up and the staff just stood around. 20 minutes for two coffees. Didn't even have food.

Called in at billbrough top York A64. Got the new burger meal at the drive through..which was £8.50. It was stone cold inc chips and coffee all cold took it back and swapped it for another cold one. Get your act together Macy’s at the prices your charging needs to be good.

Popped in for a Christmas mini McFlurry and hot chocolate both were very good. There was a lovely mature lady who was cleaning and we could have eaten off the floor she was doing such a good job, please commend her.

Nothing remarkable about this particular Maccy D's. Food's fine and it's clean.

Eternally, the problem in the app is available, the sheikh is available, and with them there is no mess and a very long wait.

Always quite busy but staff really quick. Not a lot of attention paid to orders though, should have had dips with all our meals so had to park and go inside to ask for them. Overall a decent place

Just what you would expect from McDonald's

Although a super busy maccies they got my order right, had a working flurry/shake machine, and the quality of the food was great. The queue time is always a bit of a wait sadly but it is the only option at Bilborough. Car park could benefit with another dozen spaces.
