Saturday morning started splendidly, until I came through the drive through. First of all, I made the ill-judged decision to trust you with my morning breakfast. I paid £6.68 for a double-bacon and egg McMuffin meal with an extra hash brown, to which I received a double sausage and egg McMuffin meal after having to wait 10 minutes in the car park - feeling like another number on their system, rather than an individual customer. To my disappointment, no double bacon and egg McMuffin meal came. TWICE. I have been SHUNNED, HUMILIATED, not only once but twice, and had to WALK from my car to the in store facilities to deal with their mistake. The incompetent staff member clearly does not understand instructions and embarrassed me after laughing at me with colleagues. I have left unsatisfied as your unprofessional staff member decided to give me the wrong order AGAIN. At this point, I was already in my car as I believed and trusted that you would not betray me a third time. I drove off, furious, hungry, and let down. As a human being, forced to live in a cost of living CRISIS, where my hard-earned money is already strained, and used to provide for my children, this was my TREAT, before my 12 hour shift on a Saturday! I know deep down you don't care much about one measly customer, but I am not the only one. 88% of 1 star reviews on TrustPilot also feel betrayed, underwhelmed by your service and staff. I WANT A REFUND. FROM THIS BURNT BUN, PLASTIC SAUSAGE THAT I DID NOT ORDER, HOWEVER your hash browns fill a small hole in my heart. Honestly we expect so much from Mcds but always get let down.

Can’t believe this is McDonalds and i strongly suspect that some of the food being sold there is not approved. Me and my son just had 2 cheeseburgers, my son immediately said his tasted strange, i tasted mine and agreed. Left a strange taste in the mouth. My son also had a pie which looked like it had been keeping warm for a week.

My child was hungry so I had order a fillet of fish without tartur sauce when I got the food I checked the box and it said ‘no tartur sauce’ so we go home and there was tartur sauce all over the burger and box so she couldn’t eat 😡

I have been sat here for almost 39 minutes , food , And guess what , most of food was cold . Manager Bailey , obviously having a bad day is no excuse for poor customer service.. very poor from start to finish ….

This is (unfortunately) our local McDonald’s and our kids like Maccies, so we are stuck with this joke of a restaurant. It’s become past a joke now, every single order is wrong, missing food, wrong items, awful customer service from disinterested staff and if you need to use the toilets when in there, hold you nose, poor hygiene standards. This is the worst McDonald’s in the UK , must be. Avoid at all costs , honestly drive somewhere else it’s dire, avoid, avoid, avoid

Food is always wrong and chips cold, went yo the drive through then told to park up go wait 15mins then meals wrong. You get charged 60p for sour cream then never get it.

After visiting this store over the last 12 months I have found that the service has been appalling I was in the drive through for over 20 mins I even phone the store and asked what the hold up was I was told that a customer refused to move until they got the food surely a manager should have stepped in and sorted it out simple. The owner has two stores in Rochdale at kingsway and sandbrook park I do think he needs to have a good hard think who manages his business as the reviews are terrible on trip adviser I could go on but I can’t be bothered

Last time I reviewed this place I had to give them a shocking review and rightly so. This time was a slight improvement although I can't give a glowing review until the breakfast wrap is BACK ON THE MENU. There isn't a thing I crave more in the world, especially after a couple of bottles of fortified tonic wine the night before. Me and the wife left slightly disappointed because of this and got into a huge fight later this morning and I actually had to make a fry up myself. Just bring it back McDonald's. Seriously

Shocking really, ice cold burger and soggy yet cold chips. Mcflurry had what seemed like lumpy bits of ice stuck in it and the only thing that was half decent was my milkshake. Binned it

The food was absolutely stone cold and they got the order wrong,even though they asked for the order twice Terrible food & service .

Honestly can't get over how absolutely idiotic staff can be sometimes! Twice we checked at the drivethrough and then again at the pay window, that the burgers had no onions due to allergy. Guess what? Despite a sticker on the wrapping, they were covered in onions! Then to make it even better. the sharebox of cheese melts ordered for the vegetarian? Well, how on earth do you get that mixed up with chicken selects. Its not rocket science to make an order up, especially coming from someone who worked in retail, its sloppy and lazy! There is no pride in customer service anymore! This is what gives McDonald's workers the reputation of dead-end workers! The ones that actually are... McDonald's, either train your staff or pick ones that have more than one brain cell! At least the dog was happy...

I have 30 minutes for my dinner and I was waiting 15 minutes for a Mayo chicken and a coke. Absolute jokers

McDonalds used to be all about customer service and cleanliness. I don't know about cleanliness but customer service has gone out of the window at this branch over the last few years.You're lucky to get eye contact from the drive through staff let alone a smile, a hello or a goodbye.This morning, the payment person at drive through, didn't even look at me when she read out my order and told me the total. I took my card out. She passed the machine through the window. It beeped, she withdrew the machine, closed the window and walked away.My experience was much the same or worse at the collection window. I was passed my food, she said thanks and turned her back on me.

Came here for my granddaughter happy meal I ordered a big Mac meal....lettuce every where the burger was cold and the donuts were NOT fresh but they changed the date too today disgusting and over priced

after the staff got the order totally wrong we were told to park in the grill bay, eventually they brought the food out and they’d given us an extra portion of fries to compensate, if we’d have wanted more fries we’d have ordered more fries, the burger was freezing cold, not the usual slight bit of heat coming from it, it was stone cold, McDonalds, train your staff to take an order correctly, fast food? my arse

The meal was cold, the bacon had a large amount of fat and the burger was hard and tasteless, it tasted as though it had been prepared hours previously.

I’ve only ever been to one McDonalds that was dirty and this is the place! The tables, play area and floor were filthy and the food was cold . Staff were polite but will not be returning!

I got less chips in a large fries than the staff have brain cells. Didn’t get battered chicken in a crispy wrap. How can chicken be crispy without batter 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I ordered a fillet o fish and was given a beef burger in s fillet o fish box. Only realised when I got home. This was either done deliberately or down to human error. Nevertheless, it was a cowboy error during what is a simple process!

Went in today, waited 20 mins for a simple order? (Not really fast food is it) Wasn't that busy. Staff was miserable, no manners and looked like they didn't want to be there. Some serious customer service training is needed here. I have been to happier funerals. I definitely won't be returning to this place and blame the management for the extremely poor service, the Middleton McDonald's is the opposite and a pleasure to visit. TAKE NOTE!!

No clean/cleared tables(restaurant was only about 1/4 full). Waited quite a while for food which was wrong order, sauce dispenser empty, food was only luke warm(should have sent it back but we're pushed for time), staff were friendly enough but more interested in their personal conversation than serving customers. No great really even for a Macdonald's.

I had ordered the new 20 piece spicy nuggets and the new Mars McFlurry! The nuggets were very over done and was not enjoyable at all as they were over cooked. The flurry?? Where are my toppings? I had 6 mars chunks and the smallest bit of sauce. I have ordered from here before and was happy with the food I received, however today it was very poor and the staff need to pay attention to detail a little bit more!

Service was okay just a bit of misunderstanding with a USA accent. The bacon and egg muffin was really tasty, the sausage egg muffin a bit dry and the hash browns were very oily. Wish they had iced tea but they don’t!

Used to go here all the time at least once or twice a week using the restaurant and drive through. Over the last few months the standards are dropping. You can be waiting 10 minutes for your food in the restaurant and the drive through is even longer. Once after being parked up waited 25 minutes so much forfast food. The food seems now to be undercooked with the cheese not melted and just put on your burger. The restaurant cleanliness is getter poor and items ordered are often given to you wrong especially on the drive through so check before driving off

Called in after cinema with friends for quick bite to eat, worst McDonald's I've ever eaten at, burger was like warm fries were barely warm and also received the wrong drink

Have visited about 4 different times this month and twice they have had no ice cream! All I wanted was a Mcflurry and they had no ice cream.

I ordered via the screen. We ordered food and beverage. Good arrived along with drinks. No milk with tea so had to queue to get some. By the time I was served my food was cold. Why can't you order black or white tea?

Great McDonalds with friendly and quick service. I was surprised to see a little soft play in the corner too which was perfect for once the kids had finished the meal! Used a recipe voucher for £1.99 BigMac and fries! Great off :)

Visited this branch recently, andx2 people were waiting for food. I placed my small order and waited.

Obviously in a queue at drive through but only about 7 minutes wait to order.. Spent over £10 on two meals. I live 1/2 mile away and it was stone cold when i got home. Had to microwave to warm it...so bread and chips then soggy. Nice flavours but spoilt by having to heat up again!! Surely food should be hot enough when ordered and served to keep that way for a half mile journey!!

Nothing special. Just the run of the mill mcdonalds. Same food but is open 24 hours which is handy when you feel peckish.

Very disappointed on our drive through food pickup ! After receiving our food we asked if it was all in the bag because the bag looked on the small side the response was ‘yes’ we drove home ( less than 2 miles) and found that part of our order was missing! Not only that the remaining food was cold !

Never have I ever seen a bigger cesspit of depression in all my years of life. The staff look like extras off the walking dead series and the food tastes like Kim Woodburns wonky eye. Took me 15 minutes to receive my double cheeseburger, at which point I could’ve cooked the patty with the friction id developed from my arsecheeks by stressfully stomping my feet on the floor in rage. Having said that it’s still the closest McDonalds and I have to go to support the local business. Vote UKIP.

Brought the kids as a treat, the worst food ever! Chips were old & cold, chicken mayo hardly had any mayo & was dry, this is probably one of the worst branches we've ever visited.

Took my little girl for a happy meal, very polite staff, food was quick and premises where very clean. Ample parking and very handy right next to the cinema!

This has got to be one of the filthiest McDonalds I have ever been in . Had my sisters little boys 3&5 for a couple of days while she went to a wedding , so decided to give them a little treat . If they hadn’t been so excited I would have walked straight back out . The floors were covered with food , straw papers and other indescribably things . The tables that were empty had not been wiped down , so was already worried where we were going to sit to eat .

First time in this branch since the upgrade. Easy to order at the big screen and sat down as it said order would be delivered to table. 30 minutes later our order had not appeared on the screen above the counter and there were loads of people waiting. Managed to get the manager and said can't wait any longer and with literally no word of apology or explanation refunded us

Arrived at the drive-thru around 22:00 and it wasn't that busy. The order was simple - a medium Big Mac Meal...a fairly easy order I would have thought.

Went today with one of the kids. Before the refurb it was average at best. Whoever thought having the order touchscreens as soon as you walk in the door needs a new job! You walk in and are met with a crowd of people. Find your way to a till to order and it's full of people waiting for orders! A simple happy meal and burger, fries and a chocolate muffin took 10 minutes, even then they gave me a doughnut instead of the muffin.

Called in today after visiting the Manchester Conference Centre and as never had one for years thought I would treat us all. OMG

Absolutley shocking this macdonalds,never had a problem with any other but this one is terrible,15min drive to get back home an bite in to a chicken legend what was stone cold and raw,thought id bit into a peice of a wood,fries soggy and cold,phoned and said i cant see that,arrogant and rude so got back in the car an took it back an asked for a full refund,i will never go to this one again,offered to put my name in the book for a free meal,errr no thankyou i will never eat here again,il stick to the bury woodfields one from now on,staff ignorant too,asked for the manager told shes busy,how anyone can leave a positive review for this place is beyond me

Not been here for a while but it was clean and tidy today..food nice even though order was wrong..sat inside was very quiet so we picked a good time..

Avoid like the plague particularly if dining with children. Lots of swearing and this is coming from adults whilst MCD staff look on like gnomes.

I ordered 3 meals. One of them was a special order. The rest of the order was prepared and bagged for takeaway. I was told 20bsexonds till the special was ready. 5 minutes later my special came therefore the rest of the order was cold so I asked for the order to be ready done only to have to wait for another part of the order to be prepared. Again ideas left with cold food and had to wait for the whole order to be ready prepared again. Fast food restaurant????? . No!!!! I waited a total of 20 mins for 3 simple meals

My mum had a new ranch burger after our horrible cavery because she was still hungry the first burger had abit of plastic in it but took it straight back and they made her another fresh and she said it was lovely

Visitamos este restaurante y me pareció muy sucio. No es el estándar que cabe esperar. La comida de la vieja izquierda en el alféizar y cajas estaban cubiertas de grasa y suciedad venga en McDonald's, conseguir un agarre.

Esta es solamente una palabra. Comida Mickey d's es conocido por todos y admirado por muchos. No les estoy revisando en la comida. Basta decir que nivel se mantenga. Lo que me impresionó particularmente fue la rapidez con la que me sirve recientemente. No medir, pero estaba cerca de 3 minutos desde el momento en que realizó el pedido a la vez que tenía una bandeja con mi comida en mi mano. Fue rápido. De nuevo, el nivel de la comida era mantenido. Felicitaciones a McDonald's.

Drive thro breakfast. Two minutes after pick up opened the mini bacon wrap... it was like it had come out of a sandwich chiller in garage... it was stone cold!!!!!!Hash brown tasted "strange" I assume this is something to do with the oil it is cooked in.Only saviour was the sausage and egg mcmuffin was ok and you can't spoil a t bag!!

I can't understand why no matter what time of the day I go to this McDonald's, the fries are always cold and soggy. The food is usually old and stuck to the box/packaging. It's as if they are not following the time rules and keeping the food in the warm bins a long longer than they should, presumably to save on waste costs. I wonder if it's a franchise, Umm. This place needs to be visited by mystery shoppers on a regular basis. It's letting the good name down. When I worked for McD's 25 years ago, this quality of food would never have been allowed and I suspect, it isn't in America, too. Very poor management !

come here often drive through and eat in.. always clean good service, and the girls always get a balloon , the little touches that make you come back, happy children = happy parents..

We waited around 15 minutes for 2 'Big Tasty' meals, and even after that time another member of staff asked what we were waiting for. When we sat down the fries were hot, but the burgers we barely warm - not what we expected after such a wait.On the plus side, when I complained it was dealt with reasonably.Good parking, and reasonably clean.

It's a good place to stop off if on the M62 going to Yorkshire for a cup of coffee.Nowhere near as dear as the motorway cafes.

Lovely service by lovely staff at the Kingsway branch. Milkshake to die for. The restaurant is always lovely and clean, staff working behind the scenes who often get missed do a great job & seem happy!

Called in to McD's Sandbrook Park, Rochdale today after a visit to nearby Heaton Park with our granddaughter. Probably about 2pm when we got there. Served quite quickly with usual McD type food - Happy Meal, cheeseburger meal etc - no complaints!What I did find unusual was the staff standing around and chatting - not used to that in this fast food establishment. In itself, not an issue but there were dirty tables to clear and a spillage on the floor caused when a businessman dropped his drink. Whilst we were there no one bothered to clean this up even though the gentleman went and explained what he'd done.Perhaps we'll drive through instead next time?!?!

Yet again another poor visit, walked out after being overlooked to be served 30/09/14. 2.25pm Having not parted with my money, whilst waiting I noticed in the mean time a production bin half full of food very few time cards, and the time cards that were in were Black 2s at 25 past the hour? No management leadership, ample staff yet slow slow service. Give this establishment a wide berth.

Please make sure you check your order if using drive through as our orders are nearly always wrong Clifford who works on the floor side cleaning is very friendly.

What can I say McDonalds in Rochdale's sandbrook park is open 24 hours which is good to people like me as my work can take me to the early hours of the day so it's good to get food at 4 am

I visit lots of Mc Donald's branches and this has got to be one of the worst!! From the rude staff to waiting and poor food.... What more is there to say?!!

Food is always wrong at the worst time, and always half a potion of chips what do we pay for! Most staff are friendly and helpful and the guy on the shop floor is great with the children

We have visited many, many branches of McDonalds, from the excellent Lytham branch, to the truly awful Huddersfield outlet. This branch sits in the middle. Service was neither fast nor slow and the menu is standard. Coffee varies from branch to branch. This one was okay - nothing more.
