Mcdonald's Restaurants in Milton Keynes

Stopped to eat early evening on a Wednesday. Nuggets and Fries with cold drinks. Food was barely warm and cold drinks were ok but mango smoothie was massively short measured. Staff said they can’t do anything “‘cos it’s the machine” which begs the question if it’s half full then why didn’t we get given two…? At almost three pounds it’s possibly more expensive than methodone. Get the machine fixed as there’s probably a measured issue and you’re breaking the law.

Last Night was my brothers birthday and him and his friends wanted a Mc Donald's, i drove them there and we went in to order. We had to wait because three machines where broken, after we ordered we didn't get a receipt but remembered our number. WE WAITED FOR HALF AN HOUR, then finally the food came, it all came in one bag and drinks on the side, one bag seemed reasonable as there was four boys. We finally got home and a whole boys meal was missing, a 5 chicken select and large fries, he didn't order a drink. I decided we had to go back otherwise he wouldn't have any food, we drove back. Soon I got the attention of the manager ( who was not wearing a hair net or gloves) he sent a new college to deal with this problem, this seemed very unfair and extremely bad management!! The new college offered us the chicken selects and fries, which we had already paid for. I was very frustrated as I normally love this store and think they please customers, but not this time, I thought I might get a refund or some sort of compensation due to the awful customer service. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! And I am disgusted with the waiting time, the way I was spoken to and the lack of food hygiene.

The worst Mcdonalds i visited in my life, paid for 3 tripple cheeseburgers, and got all of them with no meat and also cold cheeseburgers... Is this a joke? People who working here just joking arround inside of kitchen, fully forgetting what they are here to do! The restaurant got 0 standards compared to other mcdonalds in Milton keynes, the manager was also rude when i came back to change my ordered food, he tried to argue that i selected 3 triple cheeseburgers without meat on them.. Whaaat? I hope my review will be seen and actions will be taken to bring Mcdonalds to its standards!

The service was terrible. Manager was very rude, order was very bad. The food came out cold. Bad day

I ordered a double McPlant but they gave me a single one. I didn't realise until I had sat upstairs and opened it because the box was labelled 'double McPlant'. Also, there were people vaping upstairs which was a bit of a turn off. I won't be returning.

The food was pretty good except at one point we were asked to leave the toilets apparently causing disruption. Due to this we had an uncomfortable 2 hr drive home.

This Mcdonald is the worst gave my child something he can't eat as under hospital gave instructions to the lady and it was wrong twice got home and bite his burger and it had gherkin in it he vomited call the restaurant and the lady was so rude telling me it's down to me. Rang head office to tell them that had he had a reaction he could of died and they offer me a voucher for one medium meal after spending £25 the service and staff at this restaurant is disgusting and all they care about is their delivery people never hardly anywhere to sit as all the drivers are waiting. I will never go back there and will advise anyone not to. BAD ON YOU MCDONALD'S YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND RETRAIN YOUR STAFF IN CUSTOMER SERVICE

Stayed at a hotel nearby but just wanted something quick. Walked in and the place was a mess. At first I thought it was the people to blame for leaving it such a mess, as every table had rubbish left on it. But as we walked past the bin, it was overflowing, rubbish everywhere around it. Whilst we were there (waiting about 20 mins) , nobody came to clear the tables or the bin area. I can only put it down to bad management. It was very embarrassing to see this like this considering we are supposed to be a first world country. It was very busy though, but if only the drive through people could see inside.

Dirty McDonald’s Cold chips taken back twice and we’re still cold couldn’t understand we’re they were getting them from Coke was warm and flat Staff were like robots And there uniform was so dirty

Went here asked for no tomatoes and no lettuce in my wrap as I am allergic to tomatoes. And guess what- they didn’t bother do so. absolutely fuming about the lazy staff - it may be busy but the careless attitude could ruin or end a life due to allergies !

I went in as usual after work to grab my food, it came fast & hot! I see a lot of people leaving negative reviews and I'm shocked as whenever I've had a problem it gets sorted.

Visited at 5pm today. Had to go back to collect 2 missing fruit shoots. When we started eating in the car on the way chips were missing from meals. Leaving two frustrated children missing half of their dinner. Very frustrating on a quiet Monday at 5pm. Judging by previous reviews not sure if i will recieve a response.

They told us we had to wait 30 mins for a table eleven though we have a child in a buggy and they were letting other without children sit in before us!

This is my 4th best mcdonalds in milton Keynes and the staff are friendly and do a great job but the toilets are not clean and got great burgers drinks and mcflurry's and got touch screens which i used when i last went and i got my order right and get the meal i always get

Went to this place it’s a COVID paradise,,no one at the entrance to advise masks or hands washed .in the centre and other shops you have to wear a mask ,soon as you enter mc Donald people waiting in the que ,remove there masks ? No one I saw used the hand sanitizers before touching the screen ,no one cleaning them either ,,it’s a free for all ,the restaurant upstairs filthy and cardboard separatating the tables not locked down ,,it’s a complete mess ,if you value your health keep away from this place ,the food was cold ,coffee cold ,,no paper napkins handed out ,,no one is interested,except the franchise owner ,,,needs reporting to H&S ,,trading standards,,this place needs closing down ?

Don't bother, ordering your food via filthy touch screens is not the best way to start your meal. Long ques towait for food and not many seats. Many people sitting outside the restaurant eating.Food was cold when opened, seriously how badley can you make a cheese burger

...Well my double sausage/egg Mcmuffin was quite tasteless...But it left a nasty aftertaste in the mouth.and the bun was barely larger than a fifty pence piece and burnt.. What has gone Wrong.. my wifes Bacon Roll was very nice....the coffee and hash browns were fine..

Good place to stop and have a cup of tea (99p) and the quality is consistent however this was on a Saturday with slow service and confusion over the queues but still a welcome break. Would go again

Waited too long to order. Chips seriously undercooked. Fillet only just OK and only warm. No serviettes.

The service is very good now they have all the self serve computers. The staff work hard and fast to get the orders ready for collection.There are also staff which clean up after you at the tables which I don't personally need as I am happy to put my own tray away but they are very kind and helpful.

Was rubbish 3rd time lucky see if it was getting any better guess what no was still rubbish got a refund, no sauces no servetts waiting over 20 minutes still no food ready and the place was filthy, staff also very rude need to get some senior managers, not kids.

Usual McDonalds, not particularly exciting food or service. Very disappointed that this establishment not longer serve vegetarian burgers (despite advertising that they do). Their veggie burger has been replaced with a strange concoction which includes 2 strangely shaped Red Pepper & Pesto Goujons.....certainly not a veggie burger. Most disappointing.....and no milkshakes in stock, even more disappointing.

It's not that fast, people queuing up far to long, not enough seating. The touch Sreens used for ordering looked filthy.

We order 2 McFlurry ice creams. One was just over a half full and the other was only a third full! We are not happy.

Took a three year old to McDonalds in Bedford. He had french fries, chicken nuggets and a strawberry milk shake. Four hours later, he has very messy diarrhoea. Ronald McDonald, the finger of suspicion is pointing at YOU.

I wouldnt normally bother reviewing McDonalds - but today my experience reached a new low in milton keynes. no option to pay by cash, cards and fancy ordering only and a machine which wouldnt dispense receipts !Then the fun began, about 30 orders in front of my simple double cheeseburger (which was fine when it arrived) - what a scrum - even the england rugby team would have been hard pressed to battle to the counter when their order was called. By the time my order arrived - according to the screens another 40 orders had been taken and people were backed up to the doors awaiting food.Staggering.

Everything you'd expect from an average mcdonalds. New ordering system is simple enough but not really any quicker than queuing if you are taking away.

This is not the best Mcdonalds in Milton Keynes. As it is in the main shopping centre and gets very busy, it can be a bit hit and miss.

As a regular visiter to the town centre and this Mcdonalds...i must say the food and drink are excellent value...the staff always very welcoming......But the Decor and especially the seating need updating ( seat covers ripped half missing )...so worth a visit but beware where you sit..............

We stopped for lunch as it's half term and treat for my girls. Restaurant busy as normal, tables were dirty but staff were trying to keep them clean. I ordered at self service and food was made quickly. I was somewhat surprised that when I opened the 2 happy meals for my daughter's that 1 was missing a toy. "no problem" I told my daughter we can sort it out. Their was a young girl cleaning tables and filling up salt/pepper etc, so I explained to her that I was missing a toy, thinking as she could see i was with two children and hot food that she'd pop and get one for me...wrong! She said" go to the counter and get one" and then walked off! Not customer service at its best! On a plus note the food as hot and good.

I use McDonald’s a lot but this restaurant is unorganised tables and floor are dirty most of the time the staff very busy. People queuing everywhere food not as good as Kingston branch

Ordered a sausage and egg McMuffin meal. With latte. Excellent food. Service was really quick too. Food was nice and warm.

Called in here for a Big Mac, Fillet of fish and nuggets - As usual great and same the world over. You know what you are going to get. Thanks McDonald!!

We ordered just two cheeseburgers on a not very busy Sunday pm. The numbers go round and round a notice board and let you know when your order is ready. We were No. 2? and after 25minuets we asked a supervisor where our order was as number 75 had been and gone. There was another lady waiting with a small child as well and her number was next to ours. The supervisor said "sorry it's stuck in the system" but wouldn't be long. The order then arrived but guess what it was stone cold. My wife complained that it was cold and was told it was freshly made. We couldn't eat it as it was so cold so we through it in the nearest bin. Very disappointing experience. We won't be back!!!

Try and work out which queue to get served in to start off especially when busy it's just a clump of people standing in that area. When we were eating 3 times a woman in McDonald's uniform working there tried to sell us charity cup cakes. Leave us alone. We are there to rest and eat and not be harassed when I have a mouth full of burger not once but 3 times.

now that the silly self service boards have been removed and you are able to communicate with a human all seems to be normal again

The staff here are very helpful and friendly . They go out there way to make you feel welcomed and I love the bigmac

Un amigo nos dijo cómo un gran desayuno de Mcdonald's, así que me tiré a la piscina, aunque no era un buen día para mí, ya que me sentía un poco chungo, y quizás debería haber conocido mejor. Difícil ver nada me apetecía en el menú, así que elegí un panecillo con tocino y huevos. Bun era dulce, que odio - ¿por qué no dejar que un panecillo sabroso ser sabrosa? Para mí, dulce no va con huevos y tocino, pero qué se puede decir? Quizá soy excéntrico. El tocino era agradable. El huevo estaba recocido y fina, obviamente roto en un ring, explosiones la yema y lo dejó para convertirse en nítida. Y casi frío. No como en la imagen más seductores. Lo que es más, la chica detrás del mostrador estaba limpiando su nariz en su manguito. Eso fue la gota que colmó el vaso. Aunque es barato. Problema es, se podía ver por qué.

Qué esperar su comida feliz que han hecho con el tipo de personas estúpidas tablas de autoservicio sólo quieren pedir conseguir comida y comer no rellenar un cuestionario

Esta debe ser la más lenta de velocidad peor mcdonalds de servicio. No estaba lleno con tres miembros del personal esperando para tomar pedidos y único realmente conseguir cualquier comida. Con un montón de otros lugares de comida muy cerca deben realmente no mejor no me sorprende que no estaba ocupado

So - not had a McDonald's for about three years In this time it seems all they have done is removed staff at tills and replaced them with giant computers for you to do the work insteadQuite pointless really as it seemed to slow things down - I used to recall placing an order and receiving my FAST FOOD - fast I ordered my double cheeseburger - medium fries and Diet Coke at 2.23 It took 15 minutes before "55" was yelled out by a miserable member of staff - receipt taken and then I moved away from the cattle market , bingo calling - Argos and post office number system Cheeseburger was stone cold - fries had about a kilo of salt on them - the ice in the Diet Coke had melted Did not have time to complain as waiting to pick my wife up from hospital McDonalds - I'm NOT loving it Won't be coming back in a hurry !!!

Visited one evening when it was relatively quiet - in terms of the way I often see it.. Ordered my food via the automatic unit then joined a fairly large number of people standing around, despite plenty of staff buzzing around the kitchen.I had number 4, yet on looking at the screens, they were still working on #89. Bearing in mind that this chain prides itself on providing food quickly, it took 15 minutes for my meal to be prepared and by the time I received it, another 20 or so folks had joined the waiting queue.I am afraid this experience did not show McDonalds in a good light but at least the food was the normal fare.

I love being able to order from the touch screens and paying contactless. Despite being super busy and food was quick, freshly cooked and tasty. The member of staff calling the number had lost her voice but still reminded good humoured. Good work guys and thanks for working this Christmas season!

Called in on a very busy Saturday lunch, the food was ok, fries a bit limp surprisingly as it was so busy. Main problem was the queues, just a mass of people blocking access to the preorder terminals. Would be better if there were some kind of system to make getting to the terminals easier.

Universally recognised across the globe!!!Not for the tech unsavvy, as you now have to order yourself via the self service machine, you always get stuck behind a person who doesn't know how to work said machine. Once you have ordered, you have to join the masses to wait for your number to be called out, to go and get your food pushed at you. Then it is the fun of trying to find a seat among the groups of teens spending their hard earnt cash and families.

I ordered the meal via the touch screen which is the only thing I had a concern about as how clean is it. Then I have to use my hands to eat the food,got know what you might catch. I took my 2 year old granddaughter so had a buggy. I went to the till to pick up my food. A lady on the tills got me a tray and then offered to carried my food to a table. She got me some napkins and a straw.When I was ready to leave I picked up my tray to put in the waste in the bin. A member of staff took it off me.I was extremely impressed by the staff. You don't normally expect that level of service in a McDonald's or at least any that I have been to in the past.

Normal McD quality, self serve machines not working, cold, saltless chips (trying to be healthy?????) but edible food :)

Mcdonald's is OK for a quick bite not a full meal. The chicken dishes are more tasty and generally less calorific. Chips are not good but coffee is quite passable. Kept me going whilst shopping. The quick order process a definite plus.

Slow service, stupidly long wait for cold bland food. Dips for extras were not in the bag as advertised. And staff very very rude. Yes it's busy but try and speak to people with some respect. Also toilets filthy, bloody disgrace really. Will be calling the health inspector about the state of the toilet for sure. No way it had been cleaned all day. Also Soap to wash hands. Tut tut you bring shame to the brand.

Samantha 'shift manager' absolutely awful! I'm a manager of a restaurant myself and if I spoke to 'customers' this way I would have no business. If she doesn't want to be there then don't! But come on, no one is that rude in hospitality! Get a new job.

It is what it is, either you like McDonalds or you don't, I personally quite like a cheeky double cheese burger every now and then!Call me old fashioned but I much preferred asking someone for what I want and not having to use these silly touch screen computer things and waiting for my number to be called!Its not bloody Argos!! Went there with my wife for s veggie burger meal and a Big Mac meal.Had them before cat other Mcdonalds. This was the worst meal I have ever eaten. Both burgers were cold, my veggie burger was very cold in the middle. Fries were also barely warm.We did not have time to complain and wait for re cook.The drinks were great!!'I will never go back to this 'state of the art' outletI would not give a single star, however I have to to submit!!!!

Quick breakfast, well that was a joke. Ok I haven't been to MK for a while but was not expecting what greeted me. No longer do you go to a counter and order your food you type it in at large screens, which took me a while to get my head around, and I do mean large! Ok I can deal with that but when I asked for help doing this, believe me it's not as easy as you think, one of the employees turned to me and said she didn't know how to do it! 10 minutes after ordering I got my food. Not so fast on a couple of accounts. Think I won't bother in future

First time to use the new tech order system on screen. So easy and quick. Highly recommend. Perfect breakfast as always.

We came here on a sunday lunch time, and oredered our meals, we asked for them to be fresh and Guess WHAT?? They were and they tasted how McDonalds should taste. The Manageress was very efficient and helpful-how a manageress should be-took care of her customers and listen to them. It was very busy as it normally is? Also they have phone chargers as you eat at the table aswell. But We will keep coming here with the kids as they love macky D'S ... Also why cannot McD's do Spiderman or Barbie toys like the old days style bring them back? Well done McDONALDS.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon for a premium 'Signature' burger. The burger was solid, dry, cold and completely tasteless. It was smothered in two relishes that made it very tricky (and messy) to eat. The fries were cold. The coffee was barely lukewarm. It took over 15 minutes for my order to be ready. My companion had a chicken sandwich meal and that was also cold. On a cold day (1.5C outside) the external sliding doors remained open for long periods resulting in the seating area being unbearably cold.My visit was specifically to try the 'Signature' burger which is only available in a limited number of outlets. Every single aspect of my visit was a disappointment. McDonald's is a fast food outlet serving hot food. On this day, it was very slow and very cold. In all, an unpleasant experience that I shall not be repeating.

You should know what you are getting with a McDonalds .....shouldn't you? We popped into this venue for lunch when Christmas shopping mid November as other places were packed, this was busy but we guessed service would be quicker ........We took the option of ordering/ paying from the boards as we thought it might speed things up -ordering was not the easiest and it kept freezing and didn't give us an option of going back to the order when something was not available - anyway eventually I placed the order paid and had to root around to prise the receipt out of the machine as that had our order number on it. then we waited and waited. It really is the most unorganised McDonalds we have ever seen. lots of staff just stood around as if they are not sure what they should be doing. Random numbers were called out and you had to fight your way through the crowd to collect your food. When we eventually got our food and managed to find 2 seats upstairs we found my other halfs burger had no cheese on it - managed to find a member of staff who went to change it for us .......the 2nd one was cold - As I had then finished my meal we went back downstairs and found another member of staff to change the cold burger - they did but offered no apology. 3rd time lucky was ok but for fast food when we sort of knew what to expect it was a huge disappointment. Come on McDonalds sort it out you must have much busier restaurants than this!

I occasionally pop in for a lunchtime snack and you know what you'll get, though to be honest I do find it rather tasteless. It's clean and quick though of course. I do like the ordering system here - there's time to decide on the screen without feeling rushed or holding anybody else up. I hate that at fast food outlets.

Had to give the new self-service system a go! And it worked nicely! Easy to order, well priced meals. Queuing system worked fine, and the service was quick and efficient, Clean restaurant.

As always, very affordable, filling fast-food. The new self-service system makes ordering quicker but unfortunately there isn't much of a queuing system - maybe this needs to be addressed. Otherwise, a great fast-food restaurant with lots of variety and cheap offerings!

Food is always decent and well priced. The new serving system is a nightmare but otherwise had a good snack out for lunch

I am on a protein diet so Macdonalds breakfast works nicely. I visit Midsummer Arcade when I stay across the road in the Hilton. Its open very early (I think it may be open all night ). Service is quick and efficient and the food is hot. Lots of seats . I don't bother with the terminal ordering, its quicker to go to a counter.

This MacDonalds gets very busy and you may struggle to get a seat, but its clean and tidy.You have seen one MacDonalds you have seen them all.

Since the "order yourself" screen have been put in it seems to take far longer to get you food. Old folks don't have a clue and neithet do many younger people. Even if you order at the counter you still get your "Argos" style order number and have to wait. A backwards step made to save money.

All started when I was walking through the city and I went to McDonalds orded a big mac staff nice but I think they were bit under pressure when I got there it took me about 15mins to sit down but apart from that nice food

I've used this Mcdonalds twice recently and on both occasions I've had an exceptionally long wait for food only to find that the order has then been wrong resulting in another long wait to correct things!!It appears that since the re-furbishment and introduction of the touchscreen ordering system customer service is appalling!!Also it is very cold when eating in due to the automatic doors and cold air conditioning!

I took my little two-year-old grandson here pre-Christmas and we had to stop at the dreaded McD's for lunch - he wanted a kid's meal (more for the toy than the food). What absolute chaos to order a burger and a Happy Meal. No one seemed to know how to use the machines, there was a distinct lack of staff who actually did anything but stand around looking gormless and of course, when I asked, nobody seemed to know anything anyway. The whole thing was a total fiasco - mostly because there was no evident system!Our meal did eventually show up after asking many persons behind the counter (although it never appeared on the light-up screen above the counter as "ready").McDonald's has a well-deseved reputation for fast food at a price. This was anything but fast food and the price we paid was that it was cold. Absolute rubbish!

Visited on 12th November 2014 with daughter and Grandson. Been looking forward to it as we always visit when we go to Milton Keyenes. What a shock and dissappointment. Seating downstairs almost non existant, that that was present was so crammed together you couldn't get a buggy through. Didn't fancy carrying buggy and baby upstairs. Most of the remaining seating was around the edge facing the wall and very high stools.Ordering the food was via a touch screen Totally inpersonal and clinical.Can't comment on the food because we didn't stop to eat.Did try to express concern and register complaint with staff at the time but just gawped at me like I were someone from another planet. Didn't even do me the courtesy of speakingAs said previous always visited.Visit in the future? WILL NEVER DARKEN THEIR DOORS AGAIN

This is a new McDonald's at the Shell garage on the A5 roundabout at Bletchley. The staff are lovely, they are always polite, friendly and service is very quick.The restaurant is spotless, the loos are also spotless.A great place to stop for a quick meal.

Staff welcoming, with good service. The food is of standard quality, with a nice clean atmosphere and free WiFi.

Whilst traveling on a busy day popped in for a Cicken deluxe meal, Not generally a Mc Donalds fan it was quick reasionably tasty and hot so fair enough! Service was pleasent and the store was well presented.
