Mcdonald's Restaurants in Sefton

Once again, missed one of the meals from our order. Went to the drive through. Sat in the car park for 10 minutes while they got it ready. Got home and, not for the first time, there’s a meal missing. Called them up. The solution - drive back and collect. I ask, rhetorically, how difficult is it to give me what I’ve paid for? Why should I incur the expense of driving back to collect what I have already paid for!? I am mindful it sounds like a middle class problem but when someone (a child) is missing a meal (which is a rare treat) it causes significant upset. It is wholly unrealistic to just drive back and collect part of the order. A few years ago, when Macdonald’s was relatively cheap, I probably wouldn’t have cared as much but when you’re paying £40 ish for four people it is especially annoying. At that price there are many other options The ambivalence towards customer service is incredibly frustrating. I have given up on them and intend to spend my money elsewhere. They probably won’t care but terrible service and ambivalence eventually catches up on you (at least I hope it does).

DO NOT BOTHER TO CALL KEW MCDONALDS WITH AN ISSUE! Ordered some food for my children and their friends for a sleepover! Half the order that had x2 or more items the same was missing so I called to see if I could get it re delivered….10 calls later and still no answer!!! So now some children have food and some do not! This has happened before and never any answer on the calls! Disgusting way to dodge yourself out of a phone call

Just been through Macdonald's Kew Southport at 9.50am for my breakfast. The young man who served me was so friendly and polite i just had to leave this review. I was definitely in an ok mood when i went but definitely came out feeling lifted and even better. Well done you hope you have a great day as you wished me.

I’ve got to hand it to the amazing team at McDonald’s Kew this morning, the order we made went through perfectly and yet you still managed to get it wrong (shock) note to all, if you place an order with 2 lots of the same item be aware that the staff at this amazing restaurant only pack one of those items and I can only presume they take the other round the back for them selfs because I find it hard to believe that McDonald’s only employ people who struggle to read, do they 🤔

Disgusting service. Rude staff, manager will is a liar too busy looking after online orders to be concerned with actual customers. There should an option to give no stars.

Called in for a coffee delivery drivers all sitting round while only 2 people in the shop at any one time when asked why said goverment regulations told themnits nit as I worknin a smaller shop and we are allowed 5 in ordered coffees unfortunately they sat there that oong the cream had disappeared off the toffee lattes and had to replace vappyas I ordered a large one they gave me a small one all your staff need training in customer service as they are disgraceful the way they talk to you with a horrible attitude this has to be the only mcdonalds where I won't go back to after today I have a local mcdonalds and their service is always spot on their drivers also wait outside so customers are allowed in they don't sit around laughing and joking quid up for 20 minutes just for coffee and the que was long as it was in the drive thru as well maybe you should concentrate on the paying customers not delivery drivers and retrain you staff to be nice to the customers that pay their wages if the was a minus score you would have got it you don't deserve a one after the treatment I got there

Great if you want to stand outside forever while they let next to no one inside, except Just Eat delivery drivers of course. Once finally seated I expected service to be quick being as the ridiculously over jealous entry policy let hardly anyone in, so few customers to be served. But no, took ages to serve the few customers they actually decided to let in. Won't be back.

Not had McDonalds for 3 months and after this experience I’m pretty sure it will be 3 years. Understand the long ques and demand but what I don’t understand is how it can be served virtually cold. On a normal day I’d have taken this back and asked for a refund. Disgusting.

McDonald’s is McDonald’s! But been served by the same guy a few times and he’s just great, came through the drive through tonight asked his name but can’t remember what he said think it was kunis, think he is polish but not sure! Just always nice and think he’s a credit to your team!

This is the McDonald's I prefer, they are quick, friendly and helpful. Just wish they would bring back the cinnamon donuts again, they were the first flavour I ever had at this place, and were definitely the best

Visited this McDonald's with my son, although it was fairly busy I was served quickly by friendly staff , food order was correct and hot. Miles better than the formby McDonald's!

What can you say about McDonalds that hasn't been said a million times? It's fast food. The food comes on time and is of a reasonable high quality. Been many times. Never had a reason to complain.

Every time the weather is nice this ice machine is broken and you cant buy any ice cream or ice drinks. This is going on for over a year why cant they sort it??

Always excellent service here, the staff are welcoming and polite. Very clean and tidy. Love the charity stuff they sell for excellent causes 💕

I dont know how people leave negative reviews for this McDonalds.My wife and I visit this McDonalds often an are always made welcome by the staff,one of them in perticular is named Rose, she makes a fuss of my granddaughter who loves this,the food is good and always fresh, and my granddaughter loves it, If you want gourmet food dont go to McDonalds but if you want good food good service and value for money go to this one

I eat in this McDonald’s a lot and I can say I have not been to one better friendly staff and it’s always very clean

Asked if the grilled chicken salad was gluten free. The server said he didn’t know, so asked if he could find out for me. He brought out a book titled food allergies which several staff looked at for several minutes, before announcing they didn’t know and if I wanted to chance it it was up to me!!!Seriously, like that was going to happen What is the point of having a book about allergies if the staff can’t understand it.

As far as a McDonald’s goes this is probably one of the cleanest and best I have been to. The food is what it is but always to McDonald’s standards

Not being funny but I’ve just purchased a large fries and a McChicken Sandwich And was charged £4.58 for it! A large meal with a drink is only 11p more!! And to make matters worse, my ‘large’ fries came half empty (no exaggeration). I love McDonalds but sometimes it’s not worth paying for!

We called here lunchtime with hungry grand-daughter,not my choice,hers,but found it busy,very clean and extremely helpful staff.order was dealt with very quickly,and aformentioned grand-daughter thought it a "hot n tasty"meal,enough said!

Out of 3 times I've ordered breakfast from here this year, they've made a mistake on my order every time. When I phone up to complain the manager told me I should've "checked my order before I left", isn't that there job??? Staff need retraining or replacing, absolutely terrible service

Sometimes good, sometimes bad, a typical McDonalds really. Usually very clean, staff are friendly. 5/10

Visited last night it was a bit busy but found a table. Had a grilled chicken wrap one of the only things at maccies that doesn’t send my blood sugar through the roof. My client had a plain chicken sandwich meal. All very good but had to clean off my own table but to be fair it was very busy and staff where very busy cleaning up.

I go here a lot for breakfast it’s never very good but this one was awful I couldn’t eat it they couldn’t even manage to put a breakfast muffin together!

Confusing small payment area, no doubt national design. Otherwise same as all McDonalds. Coffee as always so much better than KFC

Macdonalds is was it says,fast food,like the new ordering service great way to choose and browse the menu,fairly quick service,fine for a burger take out

This was my sausage and folded egg muffin priced at £2.69 it looked and tasted vile. I’ve been here a few times and it is usually quite poor compared with other McDonald’s but this was just not edible

I am not a great lover of fast food outlets like this one or their cuisine.

Visited with service user today the staff served me quickly and efficiently and the food was hot and fresh no complaints about this establishment today

I visit this Maccies frequently and have both good and bad experiences the staff always seem friendly and try their best but I would check your order while your at collection window as they seem to mis read their screens a lot and miss Items out

Popped in to pick something up on our way to a concert in Liverpool, as we were running late we went through the drive thru to save time and eat in the car as we travelled. I ordered a 1/4 pounder meal and asked for it to be without cheese as I don't like cheese. We got to the first window and paid and proceeded to the second window too pick up our order to be told to move on as it wasn't ready, No problem so far I understand I ordered an item with no cheese so had to wait for it to be done. It only took a minute or two and our order was passed over and we drove off. Upon opening my 1/4 ponder box with a sticker on it saying special grill order no cheese I checked my burger and it had not 1 but 2 slices of cheese on it, we had travelled a bit away from the restaurant by this time and as we were running Kate didn't have time to go back so I missed out on my burger. My problem is that I don't like cheese but some people or allergic to it and if they hadn't checked and bit into it they could be ill the box quite clearly had a sticker saying no cheese some serious staff retraining is in order here it's not rocket science to put no cheese on a burger and place it in the correct box. My wife's order on the other had was ok seems they don't like having to do something different

Éste es realmente práctico estar en la rotonda de kew - hay dos carriles para el drive thru, así que nunca hay que esperar mucho para conseguir su ración. Muchas veces me he dibujado cuestionable de los transeúntes sábado mira en coche pasando tesco - Parque - lejos de ser siniestro es normalmente me voy en una gran postal comida grande con un chaser hamburguesa mac doble. . Nom nom.

No ha sido a Mcdonald tiempo tengo que decir que el servicio fue fantástico. . Trajeron la comida, así que no estaba esperando defendió largo. . . La comida estaba caliente y de un buen estándar en que Mcdonald's ME puede que vuelva.

Just stopped in for a coffee with my daughter and partner and found that although it was busy the place was very clean and the staff were attentive and helpful. Very good.

We don't eat there very much but it seems that every time we do they make a mistake. Last time I got coke instead of milkshake and this time they forgot to give us the happy meal we bought and paid for. Explain that to a 5 year old.Useless. And will avoid going ever again.

I would recommend visiting this particular McDonald's. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quick service and modern/clean interior. I will be here again.

Looking for a late breakfast before grocery shopping, we noticed the friendly yellow M. Our first ever visit to McDonald's in the UK. Surprisingly you have to choose (card payment) on an interactive display. But it was quite easy: you can also choose to have it delivered to your table. Our choices were very tasty and the coffee "christmassy". We ate and drank it all up.

Same old same old really, very busy but it all looked very clean. To be fair I only stopped to grab a quick drink. It was served quickly and the drink did the job, so the visit served its purpose I guess

The new refit has made the food horrible, The burgers are left soaking in grease which makes them taste horrible, and the gherkins are now left cold and wet, I preferred the old way with the heater bin things they used to have, I do like the self serve check out thing though.

Probably spoilt by eating in too many USA McDonalds. Staff were nice but slow. Average food and uninspiring atmosphere.

Me and my friends had an excellent experience with McDonald's. Quick efficient service from Richard the night manager who even served us our food. The food was freshly made and the drinks were cold and refreshing. Richard checked up and satisfied our needs. Will definitely be visiting again.

Got order wrong then had the nerve to blame me for not seeing it till I got back to the table. Need to get staff sorted out .. Won't be coming here again

I rode from my house on my bike to get my friends who were at mine some mayo chicken burgers....I asked for SIX burgers I gave him £6 as the burgers are 99p....he gave me 5p change and when I got home I only had FIVE burgers!!!! Where's my other burger? My poor friend has nothing to eat! Can't go back because they wont believe me that I'm missing a burger!!! FUMING!!!!

I've never known anywhere get your food wrong so frequently. Don't bother going through the drive through as they will cock up your order meaning you have to go in and wait up to 10 minutes for it to be redone. They are very relaxed about messing up too, obviously complaints are second nature to them. The girl working on the drive thru who cocked up an order just after mine thought it was hilarious that she had messed up and told everybody so. Not really what you want to hear when you're waiting for your order to be amended. It's not just a recent thing either they've been messing up for years. Surely it's not that hard!!!

I have still never had a bad experience at these outlets. And after eating here i still will be coming back again.

Had a great meal today thanks will be returning soon and i am looking forward to another enjoyable meal at the restaurant.

I've been to this outlet many times over the years as it is handy and when you've got kids then you just can't escape McDonalds!Don't need to review the food, it's obviously pretty much the same everywhere as is the formulaic layout etc. However, a few points to note about this location:(a) They literally get orders wrong 60% of the time in the drive through. Ask for something like a completely plain chicken wrap and you'll either get one with all the sauce and salad or I've even gotten a chicken burger. Last time I went a couple of weeks ago, I ordered and halfway home my daughter checked so we had to turn around and return. No apology and they gave us our order again. Before we'd gotten out the carpark we checked again and it was still wrong. So we queued for the drive in window once more and they sorted it but again, no apology or anything.(b) On the last point, their service is generally poor compared to most other McDonalds. Yes they are busy but many of their staff are just rude with no customer service skills. People don't mind mistakes if they are put right and more so if some added value is given like many other McDonalds outlets do (e.g. something free for the hassle). About a month ago I had ordered, paid and was at the window waiting to collect my food. I realised I had a voucher for a free coffee so I asked the guy who handed my food if I could get one. He said he was too busy, was really rude and demanded I go round again. I was quite staggered actually and I didn't bother.(c) Inside is generally okay and it does seem to have gotten better lately as there have been times when the toilets and the kitchen area were filthy. You often see the staff cleaning vigorously at McDonalds which is good but I don't recall ever seeing that here. As I said, it does seem to have improved but I'm not sure how consistent they are on that front as they do seem quite disorganised and laissez faire a lot of the time.Consequently, where possible, I do try and use the McDonalds on the front in Southport instead of this one. McDonalds is McDonalds at the end of the day, my expectations are low but they should be able to get the basics right surely - you order, you get what you order, you pay for it and you deal with friendly staff who at least have some semblance of customer service savvy and all in a clean environment. Screw up on those simplest of tenets and you're really scraping the barrel.

Good for a toilet and a coffee, and something to eat if you are hungry and desperate, otherwise chose somewhere else.

Well once again I find my self being dragged in to a McDonalds restaurant with the kids for happy meals all round and I decided to get my self some food so I order the meals that came to £18.00 plus and as the girl was getting the order the kid asked for tomato ketchup and the girl asked me if I wanted any source so I told her I will have a sweet chilli and she replied that will be 20p I told her I just spent nearly £20 and she just laughed in my face said rules are rules.......well I could not reply to that last comment so I am a bit shocked free ketchup but not the dip !!!!!!!!!!!!!! And to top things off as I walked to the car my son seen what he things was a big cat but it was a big rat

really good hot food, coffee never brilliant but acceptable. Nice atmosphere, tables clean, staff pleasant, easy parking and the best breakfast wrap I have ever had. Toilets clean and a good time was had by all my group.

Always a professional level of staff waiting on the tills and such.The fast food is fit for the name for this chain of resturaunts as the food is quick to arrive before my animal instincts regarding food consumption kick in.

cold cheese burger staff not that interested no not for me..had better treatment, u need to be desperate to come here
